I'm sorry it's been a hot minute since I interacted with the fandom but what is happening with Eldarya??? Also what is call of the dragon?? 👀

Oh boy anon... where to start?!

Let me try to draw a timeline...

1. The company decided to cut Eldarya in two seasons, move Lance's introduction as LI to season 2, remove other LIs and give the game to another creator since around episode 22 of TO. Since then Chino has stopped working on Eldarya and, this is my personal opinion, the person who took over had no interest in romance because since then the only romantic interactions we've had in Eldarya have been a few random sex scenes. No deep dialogues, no dates, no cuddling, not even kissing except maybe one or two exceptions and this has continued all the way through season 2.

2. In March 2021 the company hosting Beemoov's servers in Europe caught fire. Beemoov's servers were destroyed, fortunately most backups were in another building so all their games and accounts were saved except for... you guess it, Eldarya. All European language accounts were lost and the american and brazillian servers were the only ones who got spared. We all lost our accounts and the company had to come up with a way to bring people back to the game. They created a new free currency for TO and opened a shop for a few months. This led to the first season becoming completely unprofitable, plus lots of people never came back since then. Mostly old players who used to spend money on their collections.

3. New games started to be developped, Uncoven and Henri's Secret season 2. The "new" Eldarya creator went off to write Uncoven at the same time as still being theoretically in charge of Eldarya. The company started to recycle events mechanics both in MCL and Eldarya so everyone has been unhappy with events in both games because they are extremely repetitive since basically two years.

4. ANE's writing has gone more and more downhill. It'd started decently but because the writer was new and had no idea what happened in TO nor what were Chino's characters backhrounds and history, the story is full of plot holes, contraddicting things all the time and all the characters' personalities have changed. It reads like a different game.

5. Lots of people have left, very few are playing the game at this point, and even less are spending money on it, so it's very very obvious that the company is just letting it die, the game is often bugged and the art quality is a hit or miss. Only 2 episodes are left at this point. Fans who still cling to it are angry. Fans who abandoned are sad. No one wants to play ANE anymore but lots of people wish there was a revamp of the game once ANE ends, with good writing and art. However, because the game isn't making money right now the company won't invest in something that is not profitable.

About your last question, Eldarya: the Dragon's Call is a story I'm writing and publishing on my AO3. The main plot is Chinomiko's and we brainstorm together all events and characters' backgrounds and personalities. This is the story of Lance's route and Valkyon’s routes if she were to make Alternate Eldarya games. Because at the moment this isn't planned I asked her if I could write it and share it with people and she kidly said yes. If the company ever decides to make Alternate Eldarya games I will delete it. If you want to read this story, links are in the pinned post in my blog, I've released 4 chapters so far and the 5th is coming this weekend ☺️

I have a couple more drawing ideas to make for eldarya before being done with it.

I have to say, eldarya has always been a strong pillar where I've built my universe and it helped me develop a lot of my characters, especially their looks. The customization brought life to some of my dearest OCs. I also loved the characters, the funny moments, and even the moments of romance that TO gave us. I will always remember the 3 main boys being happy and fighting together, laughing together and consoling each other. I will also remember Leiftan for being this mysterious character who has a dark side and this became my type recently. Let's not forget the insufferable Miiko who had her good moments but I just love to hate her. Others like Kero, Alajea, Ykhar, and Karenn were pretty great written characters and I'm sometimes upset none of them were LIs. Honorable mentions for Karuto and Feng Zifu for being unintentionally my favorite couple.

For me and everyone, this all went down with the fire incident where it seemed that they started caring less about it in a lot of aspects. It's like they felt the game was doomed but they still had to continue with it.

But nevertheless, the thing that I love the most is the community, or what remained of it. Sometimes I would see posts and feel inspired to make new things about eldarya.

I didn't expect the game to end with a happy ending but I guess is better than anything I could've thought. Mine was just another pointless sacrifice and some fast-forward to people remembering this moment.

We all know that Erika has major plot armor because she's the protagonist and whatnot, so of course Huang Chu would offer HER to be the second new chief of the new Guard of Eel, but I think this is actually a terrible idea?

Huang Chu claims it would be fitting, now that Eldarya does not exist anymore and they're forced to occupy the human realm, for a half-human to have more power within their organization, because they need someone that "better understands humans". To me, it's crazy that this would be Erika.

Erika is constantly saying how she doesn't feel like she belongs in the human realm anymore, how it escapes her understanding, how humans and her former home seem completely alien to her. Knowing this, I don't think she really understands the human realm, and wouldn't be of much help anymore?

Like I unironically believe Mathieu would be a better choice. Not only is he more attached to the human realm than Erika, but he also has a background with the Templiers and would probably be more skilled at dealing with what remains of them. And ik she's like "if she refuses I'll give the position to Mathieu" but like!!!! Choose him from the start, why is Erika even a consideration/hj

I have returned to Eldarya after a million more years. It's time. Yes, it's time to get serious with completing the story, even if I will hugely forget everything going on per episode, but oh well, WHO THE FUCK CARES AM I RIGHT LMAOOOOJSKSJSJS. Also, it's time for me to collect more new fantasy clothes and accessories. Obviously. Because I actually kinda miss doing that, even though using your companion to collect is a major hassle... Not to spoil aadiftraf or anything but what if Erika and Leiftan couldn't tell each other apart because they were in the crystal for so long that they mixed together like melted ice cream. Like wouldn't that be a fun concept?

Like, human babies don't know that they're separate from their mother until they're a few months old. They deadass think that they're the same person as their mom and get really anxious when they're apart because they feel incomplete. Imagine that's what's happening to Erika and Leiftan instead of soulless soul mate bullshit. It would be really interesting but it would kind of kill any romance in the story. Not that romance is necessary, but I headcanon Erika to be just as much of a whore as Valkyon.

Hi Bee! Sorry not to pressure you or anything at all!! I was just wondering if you were still continuing the Nevra fics, or if you kind of felt complete with them? I still love reading them time to time, so I was curious! But if you don’t plan on it that’s totally chill!

I fully intend on finishing the main fic and writing a few oneshots with Nevra’s pov! My interests did shift from Eldarya, but I still have a lot of love for the chartacters and the story. Not to mention, I’d hate to leave it unfinished. I like keeping to my promises lol

I’ve had a new chapter half written for months but for whatever reason I can never figure out what happens next 😭

But yeah. In a few days I’ll be officially on break from university and I’ll have more time to write in general :)

Hello, how are you?, first of all thank you thank you thank you very much for writing a Valkyon route, it's amazing, you were able to capture the old versions of Lance, Valk and Leif and I love that. You recently responded with a guy ranking you like from the Otomes you played and I was wondering what your feelings are about Leiftan.

Leiftan... eh... my feelings for him are complicated because I don’t like liars, I can't stand that he lied to Erika for most of TO. (Also I don’t like his clothes, yeah I'm shallow like that, however that balances with the fact that he's really pretty). On the other hand, the few times we saw him being unapologetically honest I loved him. I really liked those scenes in his spin-off and I think I could’ve seriously fallen for him if he'd been allowed to be himself for longer.

Keep in mind that we only saw his fake façade until episode 20 and that's pretty much around the time the game was taken from Chino. She worked on his spin-off herself though so really, the only real example of Leiftan’s true personality is his spin-off. Everything that comes before is his fake mask, and everthing that comes after is whatever the new scenarist thought he should be.

I wish we'd had time to know the real Lefitan, I would’ve been in serious danger 😔

In this sense he has been even more unlucky than Lance, because Lance never hid his personality so all the Ashkore scenes we had with him were his real self. Consequently, he was still mostly in character when Chino left and the old writer was working on the game, (episodes 22-29). It’s basically just ANE that destroyed him. Of real Leiftan, instead, will remain only his spinoff.

Hello. Do you miss the long-finished Beamu of Eldaria and who were your favorites in both seasons?

I don’t know what Beamu means ?

To be honest I’m a salty hater of eldarya new era and in my hearth this continuation is not canon at all. I was kind of young when i was into that game so i’m a bit emotional about it but my words get marked i despise how much the franchise got ruined.

Now on the positive note : Eldarya was one of my favorite games and was the reason i started to post my oc on the internet ! With now a better brain developed compared to when I was 14 I can say that the first season had it’s flaws but had a really cool lore and nice story building ( before it dissapeared ) and had one of my favorite dress up game.

I was really fond of Ezarel and Leiftan because of the complexity of their relationship with Erika + I liked the character development they both had, especially ezarel.

I’m also a big fan of alajea :}, I think she got too much hate just for being a girly young girl + her design is pretty cute.

Eldarya ANE Episode 17 - Avis

J'étais tellement énervée par cet épisode que je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de poster un commentaire sur le forum alors que j'avais dit que je ne perdrais plus mon temps et mon énergie à essayer d'être constructive quand nous n'avons jamais aucun retour de Beemoov...

Bon je ne vais pas y aller par quatre chemins, j'ai beau chercher à adoucir mon verdict je ne trouve pas vraiment d'arguments en votre faveur. Clairement, je n'ai pas aimé.

Pas "je n'ai pas aimé" dans le sens "le développement de l'histoire ne va pas où je voudrais". Non, j'ai pas aimé dans le sens je ne comprends pas ce que je fous là.

Que s'est-il passé dans cet épisode ? Rien. Que s'est-il passé dans l'épisode précédent ? Rien.

Nous sommes à quelques épisodes de la fin de la saison et vous perdez votre temps et surtout le notre dans des errances vides de contenu et de sens.

Si encore ces apartés étaient riches de développement des personnages, de leurs relations et évidemment de la romance désormais pré-mortem avec le CDC.

Mais non. Pas de contenu, juste du blabla dans le vent, des digressions WTF (sérieux vous imaginez Chrome Nevra et Lance danser sur du flutiau (ou quoi que cela puisse être) à l'EVG de Chrome ?) Je ne veux pas tomber dans le cliché de la beuverie obligatoire et virile mais à un moment faut arrêter. Si vous êtes incapables d'imaginer un lore propre à votre univers vous ne pouvez pas copier des traditions bien connues et ne pas en respecter un minimum les codes. Chose que vous semblez avoir parfaitement intégrée avec l'EVJF de Karen (et c'est bien dommage) et son strip-tease fantasmé bien malaisant.

Bref, j'ai pas aimé.

J'ai pas aimé être encore une fois obligée de subir les incohérences scénaristiques ("oh la la je suis débordée comment je vais faire ?" => "tiens si j'allais méditer avec Leiftan et Koori"), surtout que je ne peux blairer ni Chrome ni Karen quels que soient les changements que vous ayez tenté d'apporter à leurs personnages dans ANE. Leur développement dans TO était tellement catastrophique qu'en ce qui me concerne il leur collera à la peau jusqu'à leur mort (si seulement).

Je n'ai pas aimé me faire encore raquetter pour une tenue sans aucun intérêt (sérieux la tenue Sand Walker était incroyable, pourquoi vous nous ressortez une pauvre robe-remake de la robe Shiny Lady on voit bien que vous n'avez fait strictement aucun effort).

En fait je crois que j'ai eu l'impression de jouer un mauvais spin-off pour les fan de Chrome et Karen dont je ne fais pas partie. Episode : intérêt 0 Tenue : intérêt 0 Moment avec le CDC : intérêt 0.

Je vois bien que vous essayez de contenter les joueur.se.s qui déplorent depuis une quinzaine d'épisodes l'absence flagrante et plombante de f*cking ROMANCE mais vous faites complètement fausse route.

Pas que je me plaigne d'avoir des scènes de c*l hein loin de là SI ENCORE ELLES ETAIENT BIEN ECRITES. Mais là pardon mais qu'est-ce qu'on se fait ch*er.

Pour moi toutes ces scènes sont indifférenciables les unes des autres. On pourrait les superposer, les mélanger sans que personne ne s'en rende compte. Je finis par me dire que vos scénaristes devraient trainer sur des forums -18 pour s'inspirer un peu parce que là désolée mais on s'em**rde.

Pas de frisson, pas de tension, pas de frustration, les clefs d'un moment vraiment torride. Comme tout le reste c'est plat, lourd, redondant. On finit par cliquer sans vraiment lire ces bribes de phrases. De quelques mots. Sans aucune alternance de rythme. Qui cassent complètement l'immersion. On clique. Encore.

Encore une fois je ne me plains pas qu'on ait droit à des scènes de s*x mais ce qu'on vous demande c'est du CONTENU b*rdel je le dis à chaque commentaire j'ai envie de pleurer. Du développement des personnages, de leur background, de voir l'évolution de leurs sentiments, de leur relation !!! BON SANG mais qu'est-ce qu'il faut qu'on fasse ?? Je suis désespérée de toute façon à ce niveau de l'histoire je pense que c'est peine perdue mais ce que ça peut m'énerver !

Je suis sur la route de Lance et on ne sait RIEN de lui, de son cheminement sur les 7 années qui se sont écoulées, de son évolution, BON SANG les Redemption Arc offrent tellement de potentiel de développement, ce sont les persos les plus riches ! Et vous en faites une potiche plantée là pendant qu'on demande aux purrekos combien de litres de punch on veut pour cet EVG MAIS ON S'EN F*UT P*TAIN "Merci d'être resté avec moi gnagnagna" mais c'est pas ça qu'on veut ! On veut de la profondeur on veut voir son côté tourmenté sa culpabilité sa noirceur ses doutes GNIIIIIII vous m'énervez vous pouvez pas savoir ce que vous m'énervez.

Le prétexte du mariage (même si je m'en fous) offrait plein de possibilité d'avoir une vraie conversation avec le CDC, de faire le bilan de leur non-relation (clairement c'est plus un plan c*l qu'un couple), de parler de leur éventuel avenir, de la façon dont chacun peut se projeter dans le futur à court ou long terme, de leurs projets de leurs envies enfin de se connaître quoi, plutôt que de se regarder dans le blanc des yeux et de finir inlassablement par b*iser le soir, dans une chambre, dans un lit, comme un vieux couple qui a jeté l'éponge, bon sang qu'est-ce qu'on s'ennuie.

Bref. J'ai pas aimé.

Vous nous proposez des épisodes tellement en dent de scie que je finis par me dire que vous êtes des sadiques et que ça vous fait marrer de massacrer à grand coup d'incohérences et de platitude votre propre création et de nous voir encore nous battre pour tenter d'en sauver les petits morceaux qui pourraient valoir le coup.

Je ne sais pas où on va. Ca sent encore la fin bâclée et WTF avec un réveil miraculeux des pouvoirs d'Aengel de Leiftan et de la gardienne pile au bon moment vraiment on le voyait pas venir (cf l'évolution conjointe et aberrante du seifaun et du draflayel dans l'épisode précédent).

Ce qui m'atterre le plus c'est que je vois des commentaires positifs. Je dois vraiment pas être au bon endroit.

Allez on se voit au mariage hein, je serai la meuf avec une robe démodée qui picole au bar.

I am realizing that the only reason I like Eldarya is because it's among the first otome games I grew up with. The first season is promising up until the final episodes (the writing gets weaker)...but ANE has been kind of a mess.

The writers don't seem to be the same, and whoever made ANE clearly didn't bother to read The Origins, otherwise they wouldn't have made so many retcons and plot holes.

I still love my OCs for that game and the storylines I created, but my god...as we finally say goodbye to Eldarya, with the finale being right at out doorstep, I wish we got a better remake of ANE.
