Countdown to Pathways Volume 1 begins! A week to go, so let me introduce you to the cast of the series ^_^

First up, Taria!

Diplomatic, kind and loving, Princess Taria does her best for those around her.

Close with her family and friends, she’s especially close with her best friend, Prince Dhiren, and her dragon companion, Shvir.

Taria isn’t interested in romance with anyone, though she does enjoy seeing her loved ones’ romantic relationships bring them joy.

She is an ambitious, powerful woman who isn’t used to having anything stand between her and success.

While her work is important to her, her wife Zanae is where her priorities lie.

Scion Quinel is shy, quiet, often anxious, and much less outgoing than their twin. They’re a highly ranked healing mage and are on track to be trained as one of the top healers in their country.

Prince Dhiren is a cheerful, somewhat flashy man, outgoing and confident. He’s engaged to a very hunky (his words) man, Jorah, and can’t wait for their big day.

Absolutely obsessed with food, he especially enjoys trying new delicacies with his bestie Taria, his twin, Quinel, and spending time with his dragon companion Var.

Even more mysterious than Kahlik is Zanae and whatever she does as a job, though it seems to be involved some political machinations and a detailed knowledge of a whole heck of a lot.

At the top of her skill list is manipulating (and potentially killing) people working against her.

She may be good at her job, but her loyalties lie with her wife, Netis.

A former guard, Kahlik keeps his emotions very close to the vest. He seems patient, dependable, and interested in helping a certain scholar for reasons he, at first, doesn’t even understand himself.

A bit rash and spontaneous, single-minded when it comes to his interests, Atawn is a scholar in training.

He’s a person who is dedicated to what he does and cares deeply about justice and what’s right, but has an issue holding back when something runs contrary to his ideals.

Has a weakness for tall, quiet, kind men. ^_-
