pax was bopping from person to person, wanting to make sure that he got to have a private word with everyone in the context of the party that he was holding. he and kana wanted to continue to grow their bonds with their friends. it was important to hold gatherings so that people could remain close. at least, that was pax's philosophy. he was bringing around drinks on a plate, approaching one of his companions at this moment. "you are in luck, my friend," pax began, grinning from ear to ear. "while i am a terrible waiter, i do have margaritas. would you like to take your pick from here?" pax asked, gesturing towards the tray that he was carrying. "were you ever a waiter? this is a tough job! it definitely gives me more empathy for servers, you know? i could never hold that job, as you can see!" pax's talents were best suited to the LEGAL FIELD, he figured.

i did NOT but i just spent like two hours thinking about it. thanks @ anon for the suggestions because i do think you’re mostly right!!

unfortunately i am neither enough of a lewologist or nicologist to be confident on these. HOWEVER these were some things i was thinking.

#1 - magical teenage wishpregnancy babyyyy. idk what her first name is but i do think her middle name could be senna! i think any child being named ayrton hamilton rosberg or senna hamilton rosberg is just a bit too much lol, what a set of expectations (yes they’re kiddos but they have plans to be huge so i think they are factoring this in), so they probably go for the middle name. she might end up going by her middle name anyways if/when she’s like a professional rock climber or free diver or whatever just because it would amuse me. i’m also partial to irene (or spelling variants like airene/eirene) might be cute too - it sounds like ayrton and its got a greek origin (greece trip you will always be famous)

#2 - silver war wishbaby. maybe aina? Nico seems to like names with ai in them based on his kids lol. plus it’s finnish which is kind of sweet! part of me also thinks that elaine/elaina would be funny because not him naming the silver war wish baby after noted senna rival alain prost. i COULD also see something a little fancier like charlotte or léa or something but they are not quite as strong contenders to me.

#3 - and teammate wishbaby. nt lewis names this kid so i agree her name is a little #blessed HOWEVER i think it is both new agey and also kind of totally normal. like he wouldn’t be doing letters or r/tragedeigh nonsense i think, and something like nevaeh feels a little too mormon to me. maybe Rise? (he does use still i rise as a hashtag a lot though and i think it would be a little weird/a bit unfair to have one baby’s name be part of it when you have two other kids. but maybe i’m the one being weird.) but idk. honestly this is the hardest one because these are NOT the kind of baby names i gravitate towards buuuut i DO think she has a name (or a double name, like blue ivy) that is like. iconic enough to stand as a mononym. if it’s a double name one of them is probably like rose or something while the other is a bit out there.

#4 - WINKBABYYYY. ALSO difficult because you best believe nico and lewis are having a four day discussion on what to name this new baby as a way of avoiding talking about the fact that they got ANOTHER wishbaby and also that this is the first time they’ve genuinely talked longer than a couple sentences. this is the first time they’ve had to name a kid together since wishbaby#1. i think they definitely agree to avoid motorsports related names for him but i’m stuck on what they would agree on. i keep thinking pax/paxton as a joke since he’s the herald of the end of their divorce era but it feels a bit off/too american? unsure.

suggestions appreciated though i am VERY bad at committing to names.

Suddenly deeply curious about the names of the brocedes wishbaby army. I feel like they wouldn’t ‘match’ each other at all because they were born in such different parts of their father’s lives. One of them (probably the first) is absolutely a Senna reference, at least one of them is named after french royalty, if Lewis gets to the birth certificate first the latest one is named something celebrityesque like Ocean/Psalm/Eternity

Sir Cerdic of Newton (461-485)

Sir Cerdic of Newton breathed his last in 485, struck down on the field of battle at Mearcred Creek by a Saxon berserker. He died defending his homeland under the banners of Newton, Salisbury, and King Uther Pendragon.

He leaves his estate, belongings, and legacy to the 1-year-old Ashe, last of his line after tragedy took his lovely wife Elaine and newborn son last year. Ashe will remain ward of her grand-uncle Sir Paxton until she comes of age.

Sir Cerdic’s friends remember him as a good, large, solid kid who knew about farming, and as a selfless rescuer whose heroic deeds they could only attempt to repay. He was "the biggest party animal" Sir Angelo Alivero knew (that one time, anyway) and was, in the words of Sir John of Cholderton, “a true knight.” 

His friend and fellow Christian Sir Bucky Conklin has offered these words of comfort: “While I shall dearly miss Sir Cerdic, it brings me solace to know that he has joined his lovely wife Elaine in the Kingdom of Heaven. Lord, may others see that it is not too late to repent and find thee before their time comes as well. And I hope Sir Cerdic and Lady Elaine aren't making too much noise up there because they sure did follow your commandment to be fruitful and multiply down here and I expect it's no different up there. Amen.”

Each participant was required to move around in accordance with 10 memorized instructions provided by Rauschenberg. The sequence of the instructions, and hence that of the participants’ actions, was signaled by numbered panels and flashes of light. The instructions were as follows: “1. Continue this until next cue (do this seriously, quickly and smoothly). 4. Draw a rectangle in the air as high as you can reach. 5. Take out a handkerchief and wipe your nose (do not blow). 6. Women brush hair 7. Move close together. 8. Move apart. 9. Men take off jackets; replace them; repeat. 10.
