getting mad about elaida and the gathering storm again. if you think getting taken by the seanchan is a satisfying close to her arc i would like to formally request a fistfight in the nearest parking lot

#i might make a full long post about this at some point but the tl;dr is that it is a HORRIFYING close to her arc #elaida deserves fo be brought to justice by the aes sedai she so egregiously wronged #but she does *not* deserve to spend several hundred years as damane!! literally nobody does!!!!#rj spent 11 whole books making sure we know that the seanchan are The Worst and that what they do should not be done to anyone #and then just is like. hello this is totally a satisfying and not dread inducing fate for her :)#like ROBERT!!
