No, actually, it's not sangría. It's a very, very dark coffee that Salazar likes. It's... bitter. Extremely bitter.

He's nicknamed el matador de la mesa (the matador of the table) mostly because:

-there's no sea in this AU, and

-el matador de los tiburones gomosos medio comidos (the matador of the half-eaten gummy sharks) didn't go over quite as well.

(Please forgive my Spanish.)

He has his gummy sharks that flop about and try to take bites of people, but they're so soft and sticky that all they do is make everything they touch slimy.
