hi TT, this might be random but i'm looking for something new to watch so do you have any recommendations for angst filled romance dramas? maybe enemies to lovers but that's optional.
Hi friend!
Are you looking for Tellywood specific recs? In that case, I have just super old shows to tell you about, like all of the early 4 Lions canon (IPK, Qubool Hai, Ishqbaaaz, etc.) or Sony shows like Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai, Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, Katha Ankahee, etc.
More varied recs, including Thai BL, Kdrama, English series: Bad Buddy (Thai BL), Hometown Cha Cha Cha (Kdrama), Semantic Error (Korean BL), Bridgerton (S2), Military Prosecutor Doberman (Kdrama), Adult Trainee (Kdrama; eps 3 - 5), Dr. Romantic (Kdrama), The Eclipse (Thai BL), The Acolyte, The Sign (Thai BL), Cutie Pie (Thai BL), Sh**ting Stars (Kdrama), Kiseki: Dear to Me (Taiwanese BL; particularly the second couple omg, hit so so so good - not enemies to lover, but unrequited to requited), Cursed in Love (Japanese), This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans (Thai BL; not one, but TWO enemies to lovers couples!!!!), Red White and Royal Blue, Love Next Door (Kdrama that just started over the weekend - more frenemies to lovers).
I think these should keep you occupied for now! Enjoy!!!

RIP #PamelaChopra 🙏🏻
She was the wife of the renowned filmmaker #YashChopra and had authored the screenplay of Dil To Pagal Hai and the story of Kabhi Kabhie. Pamela Chopra possessed a strong passion for music and her husband, Yash Chopra, always made sure to include her in the music sittings of his films.
In her appearance on The Romantics, Pamela had expressed her passion for music and how Yash invited her to attend the music sittings, gradually making her a part of the group.
According to her son #UdayChopra comments in the docu-series, "My mother had a really good sense of music and song. We have this gadda room in our house, the music room, which was specifically created for a creatively inducive environment".
Pamela Chopra also lent her voice to several songs for Yash Chopra's movies such as 'Kabhi Kabhie' and 'Mujhse Dosti Karoge!' (2002).
Moreover, Pamela Chopra made a brief appearance on the big screen alongside her husband in the opening song 'Ek Duje Ke Vaaste' from 'Dil To Pagal Hai'.

the unspoken solidarity we have, the feeling of home no matter wherever we travel in the region, the grandeur of our history, and hitherto challenges and shortcomings we have faced and yet blossomed from it to be a thriving community. so real and unreal at the same time. it’s like living in fantasy and reality’s flawless offspring.

Hey, hope you're having a good day TT. Just wanted to know if you've watched KRPKAB and if so is it good to binge watch? I realise Sony dramas are on YT (God bless them) so it would be easy to watch. Also did you watch EDKV or have you heard of it? It was my one true ITV love and what happened to it physically hurt its so sad lol
Gosh sorry this got lost in the quagmire that is my inbox.
I’ve seen a few episodes of KRPKAB and it’s a good enough show. *I* personally didn’t like it much because I abhor the ‘interfering mother between a couple’ plot point, but it’s a pretty acclaimed show, both critically as well as by the audience, so I think you should like it.
I did watch EDKV, until that whole forced marriage plot point came up, coz I was so devastated that yet another show was succumbing to it, esp. when it was so unnecessary for the characters and the show. Ugh. Since then I’ve been in love with Namik and hopelessly waiting for him to do another good show that I can obsess about.
