#my brain is huge and its full of only ffvii at the moment#am i overthinking one small labeling convention on REDACTED's REDACTED#yes i am#minor spoilers minor minor minor#so hojos labeling conventions for his experiments are literally just 'first letter of name'#so JENOVA cells are J cells#sephiroth cells are S cells#makes sense#so for there to be a SC labeling convention...#either the C is Cetra which i DOUBT because hojo calls them ancients#or....#im overthinking things#because what C characters do we know?#Cissnei and Chadley seem... unlikely as experiment host cells especially since chadley is...#an android#so is it plausable that C is Cloud yeah sure#but is SC a new subset of S experiments?#and if so... why would hojo just sit back while the C in SC is running around all over the place#unless hojo only started an SC project BECAUSE he saw cloud running arounf#unless SC is another experiment with a first name starting with S and the C is to denote its a different experiment family from Sephiroth?#so the C could be some red herring#ffvii rebirth spoilers#ff7 rebirth spoilers
