and some may hate me for my chronic inattentiveness + the weird specific way I cook eggs. it has been said in fact
#egg method explainer (reyn egglore): eggs are the one Food Texture thing i have in that i absolutely cant STAND#either 1) undercooked whites (snot. ew) or (especially) 2) overcooked/solid yolks (chalk. nightmare)#to remedy this i split the yolk from the white and fry the white separately until it is fucking Crunchy. until it is a Crispy Pancake.#then when its super close to done i add the yolk on top and a tiny splash of water in the pan. then close the lid to steam it for like#a minute maybe#im not even sure if the yolk gets cooked at all but i dont fucking care. its still liquid and its the only liquid part of the egg. my brai#ill eat like an omelette or whatever but if the yolk and white are separate i Have to make them like this
