"Do you believe my friendship with Hinamori is impeding her recovery?" He asks, staring at his feet. Despite Aizen being locked away, Toshiro still felt uneasy about his actions. "I..." He sighs and shakes his head mutely.

     Whatever Yumichika had been expecting, this hadn't been it. He felt a pang of sympathy for the child ( for really, maturity aside, Hitsugaya was just that ) and understood the depth of his concern. It must be hard to watch someone you grew up beside suffer in such a way, and harder yet to know you could do nothing about it. 

     "If anything, taichou,” He reassured, the smallest of smiles touching his lips as he lifted his arms to cross them over his chest. “I would assume your friendship is making her better. She needs people she can rely on right now.”

Toshiro is passed out on the couch again, head buried under a spare pillow.

This was another time where she walked in and he was sleeping on the couch. Rangiku was sure this was because he continued to work himself into exhaustion. Sighing beneath her breath, the woman closed the door silently before moving over to the cupboard to pull out a blanket and made her way over to him. Spreading the cover over his small body before tugging the pillow from his grasp and gently put his head atop it.

Gentle fingers brushed over his brow before pressing a soft kiss to his forehead.

  ' Sleep well, Taichou.'

Bankai:

Rei’s Bankai is pretty powerful and she attained it while she was still a 4th Seat in the 13th Division. It took her the standard ten years to attain it and she knows that it’ll take even longer to master it.

Her physical strength becomes seven times stronger, with her Shunpo becoming faster. Her Spiritual Pressure can be felt a mile and a half away or if someone is simply standing next to her, Rei’s Reiatsu pulsates from her body. The woman’s physical appearance takes on a different form as well and her blade changes into a Miaodao blade.

Rei’s Zanpakuto Spirit, Kodai Taiga saw that his mistress was ready to attain Bankai but still believes that she isn’t ready for her to know the true name of her ultimate technique. During her ten years of training, Kodai never relented and pressed Rei on not taking any mercy on her if she got cut with his sword. He told her that there would be always someone much more powerful than her in the world and that she needed to be prepared to fight them when the time comes.

Jinzen:

When preforming Jinzen, Rei has a room in her house that’s extremely quiet and peaceful. She puts her sword on her lap then puts both hands on the middle of It only takes a few minuets for her to enter her Zanpakuto Spirit’s inner world.

Battles take place as well as relaxation. When engaging in combat with Kodai Taiga Rei’s physical injuries are just enough to heal with regular healing Kido although when she reached Bankai she needed to be hospitalized.

Jinzen for Rei usually lasts for a few hours every day as she believes that sparring and relaxing with her Zan Spirit strengthens their bond with one another.

     Well, it was certainly a practical gift, and the fifth seat wasn’t about to deny that a year’s worth of bird feed for the flock was possible one of the most useful presents he’d received as of late. They ate a lot for such small creatures, and he’d never really paid much attention to his own wages until they were being spent on something other than the occasional binge drinking session and care products.
