artist credits:
Untitled by Ehsan Safavie (who is still on deviantart, which is linked here and where i found the painting, as well as instagram)
I sadly couldn’t find the second one
After the storm. Moonrise (После бури. Восход луны originally) by Ivan Aivazovsky
an excerpt from Yalta. The mountains at night (Ялта. Горы ночью originally) by Iwan Konstantinowitsch Aiwasowski
Just wanted to share, so we can appreciate the painters of this artwork and perhaps even find enjoyment in more of their works!
and if anyone finds the second artwork, id be massively grateful- i suspect it might be from abraham pether, as the reverse image search brought him up a bunch and the style is similar, but i couldn’t find this specific painting :(

Credited to Ehsan Safavie I saw the Lazarus artwork and fell in love with it so I had to find his Portfolio; I was not disappointed. His Page: http://donmystery.artstation.com Thankyou @bowieafter50 for introducing me to this artist.

"Travel is very useful, it exercises the imagination. All the rest is disappointment and fatigue. Our own journey is entirely imaginary. That is its strength.
(Artwork by Emile Friant.)
It goes from life to death. People, animals, cities, things, all are imagined. It’s a novel, simply a fictitious narrative. Littré* says so, and he's never wrong.
(Artwork by Róbert Béreny.)
And besides, in the first place, anyone can do as much. You just need to close your eyes.
(Artwork by Róbert Béreny.)
It's on the other side of life.
(Artwork by Ehsan Safavie.)
