The first thing he does is laugh.

Which seems like a semi-okay sort of response. Kind of one of those sarcastic huffs like, Do I look okay?, only that it sticks around a bit longer than it should. It feels unrestrained, unchecked, eventually petering out into a little sigh that's pretty much Percy's best effort to establish a smidge of control.

He doesn't know where he is. Heck, he doesn't know who this guy is beyond just eventually reaching the realization of, Oh. So he's the reason I'm standing right now.

But, maybe what's most important at the moment . . . ?

Percy isn't there anymore.

“Super,” he says, somewhat in response to the stranger's question, somewhat in response to his own inner monologue. His elbow nudges that support away just enough to test his balance, and when it keeps, he figures things could be worse.
