Not me over here, speed-running all the stages of grief because I made eggs on toast like my dad's, only I tried frying the eggs in chili crisp this morning, and they're Amazing, and they're better than his, and he would Love them, but he's not around anymore, so I can't cook them for him, or call him to tell him about it, and no one else in my family loves breakfast quite like he did, so no one else will be as excited about these stupid, stupid eggs as he would...

#eggs on toast is already a risky proposition bc Dad would always make them for me on weekends #those and breakfast tacos #because he was a breakfast fiend #it's kinda like poking a bruise and feeling the ache #but I love eggs on toast #so I make them once in a while for myself #and i've been on a Vietnamese pizza kick - rice paper with chili crisp and egg and ham and cheese #and I got a rec for eggs fried in chili crisp #and omg it's amazing amazing #and I hate it
