It takes me back to a pivotal point in my own healing where I had a light bulb moment that my life and body was first and foremost for my experience of this world, not for others to experience me! It was the moment that I felt my body scream, “yeeeeeeessssss”! That I felt a knowing deep in my marrow that I had touched my soul. It was the moment I felt my essence inhabit every inch of my insides and radiate out of my skin saying to the world, “I am here and I am not afraid to be seen or heard”. It was the moment I decided to breathe “unapologetic” into every moment I show up. It was the moment I came home to myself. This is what "medically overweight" looks like. And I am proud, comfortable, and happy with my body. I never thought I'd say that. ✨ Stop targeting overweight women in larger bodies than mine and harassing them on the basis that you are "concerned about their health" DUE to them being overweight. If you're concerned about their weight, then you're concerned about mine. If it's "not the same thing", then it's not the same REASON. Why are you so afraid of bigger bodies?
