— how i think enhypen would take care of you while sick
Tumblr media
⠀⭒fluff, ot7
— LHS.이희승 the sweetest of them all. you'd feel better from whatever sickness you may have but would probably get diabetes from this man. he'd make sure you always have what you need at reach. ngl, i have the strong feeling heeseung would absolutely use his beautiful voice as a way to relax you. singing your favorite songs for you and also putting up a little show to keep you entertained (since he wont let you leave the house either).
— PJS.박종성 acts and services. he's doing all the house work, doing laundry, feeding the pets, cooking food, he's got everything covered. jay would spend most of his time making sure things get done, but as soon as he has time he's onto you checking how you're feeling, and giving you lots and lots of affection.
— SJY.심재윤 puppy jake would be worried most of the time because his s/o being sick is probably one (if not thee) worst thing that could ever happen to him. i know for a fact he would not leave your side 24/7. work? screw it. practice? forgotten. a hang out with the boys? can wait. his baby is in need of him and that is the only thing that matters.
— PSH.박성훈 i think hoon is the awkward type of boyfriend in this situation. he's always been taken care of, so he isn't very familiar with what to do himself. constant questions such as "is there anything you need? would you like me to do this or that? would this make you feel better?" but it's okay because his cute akwardness makes you feel better instantly.
— KSN.김선우 sunoo is another lovely sweetie pie :( he makes sure to give you all of his attention and even offers to buy you your favorite snacks in hopes that'll make you feel better. i personally feel like he would ask what your favorite book is and he would read it for you until you feel better. at home dates like watching a movie or baking something (if you feel good enough to get up) are a must.
— YJW.양정원 jungwon's natural boyfriend instincts would tingle and he'd be immediately making you some tea he learned is good for when someone is sick. he has been preparing for this moment HIS ENTIRE LIFE and he's more than ready for it. did he spend night after night lookikg for remedies and effective medicine? of course. did it pay off? absolutely. there is no cold that could go past jungwon.
— NRK 西村 力 now, ni-ki is the type to latch onto you and just... never let go. i feel like he's already the affectionate type, but it just gets more intense if you're sick. small fights would happen often because you don't want him to get sick but he doesn't care (or listen) at all. ni-ki ends up winning in the end and just spends his time watching movies with you and asking those around him for help when you need something.

How can I help my Time Lady roommate track her artron levels? What can be done to raise or lower artron levels?
Ah, glad to hear of her settled on Earth! I hope you and her will find the following information useful:
How to track and manage artron levels?
🔬 Tracking Artron Levels
If your roommate brought with her from Gallifrey a specialised artron/lindos blood tester, she would be able to test her own levels of artron, much like a diabetic finger-prick check. For reference, levels of artron should be between around 9,000-12,000 mcl for an average Time Lord adult and levels outside of this range could indicate an underlying issue.
Otherwise, an indication in the fluctuation of artron levels are very much symptom-indicated:
👩‍🔬 Artron Deficiency (Hypoartronosis)
Symptoms of hypoartronosis could include (but are not limited to):
Impaired Healing: Slower wound healing and increased susceptibility to wound infections, potentially leading to secondary haemophilia (severely reduced ability to clot blood).
Weak Immune Response: More frequent illnesses due to the weakened state of the immune system.
Lack of Energy: Lower levels of artron result in fatigue or sluggishness.
Decreased Senses: Less sharpness in hearing, sight, smell, taste, touch, somatic and chronopsionic (time and psychic).
Low Mood: Low artron can affect emotional state, causing the Gallifreyan to have persistently low moods.
Very Red Blood: Gallifreyan blood has an orange tint to it due to the artron. If it's very, very red, this indicates low artron levels.
Urine Changes: Urine output will decrease and will be more yellow in colour (normal Gallifreyan urine is more orange).
🔋Artron Excess (Hyperartronosis)
Symptoms of hyperartronosis could include (but are not limited to):
Hyperactivity or Irritability: Heightened energy or emotional fluctuations, similar to bipolar disorder.
Delusions or Confusion: Reduced cognitive clarity.
Vomiting or Nausea: Gastrointestinal discomfort.
Increased Appetite: Unusually frequent hunger pangs.
Urine changes: Urine output will increase severely and be extremely orange.
🔄 Normalising Artron Levels
Artron levels will normally stabilise over time due to homeostasis and compensatory mechanisms, though several home remedies can help.
TARDIS Partnership: Forming a bond with a TARDIS will naturally help to maintain good artron levels through constant energy exchange.
TARDIS Support: In addition to a TARDIS connection, spending a few days in a bonded TARDIS can help to normalise levels.
Meditation: Meditation techniques are also considered effective in the treatment of these conditions.
(To Increase Levels) Do Some Time Travel: Absorbing background radiation from the time vortex increases artron and can be an effective and quick solution to hypoartronosis.
(To Decrease Levels) Expelling Energy: Expelling excess energy through the mouth or skin will help to lower levels. However, this should be done in a controlled environment and away from humans.
In some cases, medical intervention could be required:
Artron therapy: There are several medical devices and medications on Gallifrey which are regularly used in the treatment of these conditions.
Assisted healing coma: A healing coma can help to stabilise artron levels. However, this should be done in a safe environment with medical professionals who can assist in the sleep-wake cycle.
Regeneration: In extreme cases, a Gallifreyan medic may suggest a regeneration, as this resets artron back to default levels. However, this should never be done without consultation, as there are usually simpler ways to treat hypo and hyperartronosis.
🏫 So ...
Any excessive or prolonged changes in artron levels should be investigated further as they may be caused by other conditions. If you or your roommate are particularly worried about her artron levels, please encourage returning to Gallifrey for a checkup with a Gallifreyan medical professional as soon as possible, as there is currently no medical centre in the Sol system.
Related:
Splicing and unsplicing in lindos production: A theoretical look at how lindos may be able to unsplice.
Factoid: How do Time Lords absorb artron energy?
Factoid: What happens when a human spends a lot of time with a Time Lord?
Hope that helped! 😃

Kidney Failure Treatment Without Dialysis: Alternative Medication To Treat Kidney Failure
Tumblr media
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and Its Complications
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) refers to the gradual loss of kidney function over time. The kidneys play a crucial role in filtering waste and excess fluids from the blood, which are then excreted in urine. When renal function diminishes, harmful levels of waste accumulate, leading to various health complications. Early diagnosis and chronic kidney disease treatment are important to slow the progression of the disease.
CKD is classified into five stages based on the estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), which measures how well your kidneys are working. Stage 1 indicates mild kidney damage, while stage 5 indicates kidney failure, where there is a need for Treatment for kidney failure. Many factors can lead to CKD, including diabetes, high blood pressure, and genetic conditions. As CKD progresses, it can cause serious health problems, such as high creatinine levels, high blood pressure, anaemia, bone disease, and heart disease.
Complications of Chronic Kidney Disease
Anaemia: Healthy kidneys produce a hormone called erythropoietin, which helps in red blood cell production. When kidney function declines, anaemia can result, causing fatigue, weakness, and shortness of breath.
Bone and Mineral Disorders: CKD can disrupt the balance of calcium and phosphorus in the blood, leading to bone weakness and fractures.
Addressing these complications requires a comprehensive chronic kidney disease treatment plan that may include medication and lifestyle changes.
What Is High Creatinine in Kidney Disease?
Creatinine is a waste product produced by muscle metabolism, and healthy kidneys filter it from the blood. When kidneys are damaged or functioning poorly, creatinine levels in the blood rise. High creatinine levels are often an indicator of impaired kidney function or chronic kidney disease.
For kidney disease patients, managing high creatinine levels is critical as it reflects how well the kidneys are filtering wastes. Measuring creatinine levels is a common way to assess the stage of CKD and monitor disease progression. Also, you have to take homeopathy high creatinine treatment.
Home Remedies to Control High Creatinine Levels
In the absence of kidney failure, there are several home remedies to control and reduce high creatinine levels that can be used to improve kidney function and reduce pressure on the kidneys.
Reduce Protein Intake: High-protein diets can increase creatinine production. By reducing the consumption of red meat and other high-protein foods, kidney patients can reduce the load on their kidneys. However, always consult with a healthcare provider before starting any herbal high creatinine treatment.
Eat a Low-Sodium Diet: Salt can increase blood pressure and cause fluid retention, both of which can exacerbate kidney damage. Eating a low-sodium diet can help manage blood pressure and reduce the workload on the kidneys.
Avoid Strenuous Exercise: Over-exercising can lead to elevated creatinine levels as muscles break down and produce more creatinine. Moderating physical activity can help control creatinine production.
These home remedies are most effective when combined with a prescribed homeopathy kidney problem medication regimen. Lifestyle changes and dietary adjustments are essential parts of any chronic kidney disease treatment plan.
How Is High Creatinine Harmful for Kidney Patients?
High creatinine levels in kidney patients are indicative of decreased kidney function, but they also contribute to various health risks. Elevated creatinine can lead to the following problems:
Worsening Kidney Function: When creatinine levels remain high, it signifies that the kidneys are struggling to perform their job, potentially speeding up the progression toward kidney failure.
Increased Risk of Cardiovascular Disease: High creatinine is associated with an increased risk of heart problems in CKD patients. The buildup of waste products in the bloodstream can lead to inflammation and damage to blood vessels, increasing the likelihood of heart disease and strokes. This way, You have to suggest adopting kidney failure treatment without dialysis.
Toxin Buildup: With higher creatinine levels, other toxins also accumulate in the body, leading to nausea, fatigue, loss of appetite, and confusion. This can reduce the quality of life for kidney patients and increase the likelihood of hospitalization.
Fluid Imbalance: High creatinine levels may indicate impaired kidney function, leading to the retention of fluids. This can cause swelling in the legs, hands, and face and also increase the risk of high blood pressure and heart failure.
In severe cases, if high creatinine levels are not managed, patients may progress to end-stage renal disease (ESRD), where the kidneys are no longer able to filter waste. At this stage, Treatment for kidney diseases typically involves either kidney failure treatment without dialysis.
Treatment for Kidney Failure Without Dialysis
One of the most common concerns for patients with advanced CKD is whether there is a cure for chronic kidney disease or a way to manage kidney failure without dialysis. Some patients seek alternatives due to the restrictions and lifestyle changes dialysis imposes. homeopathic Treatment for kidney failure and lifestyle modifications may help delay or even avoid the need for dialysis:
Dietary Changes: A renal diet that restricts protein, sodium, and phosphorus can help reduce the strain on kidneys and slow the progression of CKD. This type of diet, combined with appropriate homeopathic kidney problem medication, is often a key part of cure for chronic kidney disease.
Lifestyle Changes: Regular exercise, quitting smoking, and managing stress are critical factors in maintaining kidney health.
Unfortunately, there are many cures for chronic kidney disease. However, with early intervention and the right chronic kidney disease treatment, patients can significantly slow the progression of CKD and maintain their quality of life for longer periods without needing dialysis. In conclusion, managing kidney disease and high creatinine levels requires a homeopathic holistic approach that includes medical intervention, dietary changes, and lifestyle modifications. Effective treatment for kidney failure is possible in the early stages, offering hope for patients looking to maintain their kidney function and health.

Monsoons bring relief from the scorching heat, but they also bring an increase in health risks, from viral infections to waterborne diseases. A comprehensive health check-up during this season is not just a preventive measure; it’s essential for ensuring long-term well-being. In this guide, we’ll explore why CureEZ’s comprehensive health check-up is crucial during the monsoon, look at alternatives, offer expert recommendations, and share real-life examples where timely health check-ups have made a difference.
The Need for a Comprehensive Health Checkup During Monsoon
The monsoon season brings with it a surge in humidity, water stagnation, and an overall environment conducive to the spread of diseases. During this period, the body becomes more susceptible to infections, allergies, and chronic conditions due to several factors:
Increased Risk of Waterborne Diseases
Waterborne diseases like typhoid, cholera, and gastroenteritis are rampant during the rainy season. Contaminated water sources are breeding grounds for bacteria and viruses, and even the best hygiene practices may not be enough to protect yourself.
Higher Prevalence of Respiratory Infections
With fluctuating temperatures and increased humidity, respiratory issues like asthma, bronchitis, and even flu are more common. Monsoon allergies are also prevalent due to mold growth and pollen dispersal.
Weakened Immunity
The change in climate can lower your immunity, making you more prone to infections like dengue, malaria, and leptospirosis, which are common during the monsoon.
Neglected Chronic Conditions
Many individuals ignore chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease, which can worsen due to the added stress the body undergoes during this season. Regular health checkups ensure early detection and management.
Mental Health Impact
Monsoon blues are real. The lack of sunlight, continuous rain, and gloomy environment can exacerbate mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. A comprehensive health checkup includes a mental health assessment, offering a holistic view of your well-being.
Thus, the need for a comprehensive health checkup during monsoon stems from the increased risk of infections, neglected chronic conditions, and a weakened immune system.
What are the alternatives to CureEZ’s Comprehensive Health Checkup?
While CureEZ’s comprehensive health checkup is highly effective and convenient, there are alternatives that some people may consider. However, it’s important to compare these options critically:
Basic Health Checkup
A basic health checkup typically covers essential tests such as blood sugar, cholesterol, and liver function tests. While this provides a snapshot of your health, it may not be sufficient to detect underlying issues or track your immune health, especially during the monsoon season.
Specialized Tests
Some individuals may opt for specific tests, such as dengue and malaria screening, during the monsoon. While these tests target specific monsoon-related diseases, they overlook other potential issues, like respiratory or chronic conditions, making them a less holistic solution.
Home Remedies and Self-Diagnosis
Some prefer to self-diagnose or treat minor symptoms with home remedies. While certain preventive measures can help, they lack the scientific backing and comprehensive insight that professional tests offer. Delaying professional health evaluation can exacerbate undetected issues.
Walk-in Health Clinics
Walk-in clinics offer immediate consultations, but they often lack the depth and breadth of a comprehensive checkup that CureEZ offers. Moreover, clinic visits during monsoon season can expose individuals to additional infections, which is another factor to consider.
Teleconsultation with Doctors
Teleconsultation is a great way to get expert opinions on minor health issues, but it cannot replace a full diagnostic checkup. Lab tests and comprehensive screenings remain essential for a thorough understanding of your health, especially in the face of monsoon-related risks.
Why Choose a CureEZ Comprehensive Health Checkup During Monsoon?
After reviewing the available options, our recommendation is clear: a CureEZ Comprehensive Health Checkup.
What tests does it include?
Complete Blood Count (CBC)
Blood Sugar
Lipid Profile
Kidney Function Test
Liver Function Test
Thyroid Profile
Vitamin D
CureEZ Comprehensive Health Checkup offers unmatched value and preventive care during the monsoon season for the following reasons:
Holistic Health Screening
CureEZ’s checkup isn’t just about detecting diseases; it offers a complete diagnostic evaluation of your body. This includes tests for immunity, chronic conditions, infections, and overall well-being. This is essential during monsoons when multiple health risks exist simultaneously.
Monsoon-Specific Testing
CureEZ’s health checkup package is curated specifically to address the health challenges during monsoon, including waterborne diseases, respiratory infections, and immune function testing. Unlike basic checkups, our package is seasonally relevant, ensuring that nothing is overlooked.
Convenience and Comfort
At CureEZ, we offer at-home sample collection, which means you don’t have to step out in the rain and risk exposure to infections at crowded labs or clinics. This also provides comfort and ease, especially for senior citizens and individuals with limited mobility.
Mental Health Assessment
The rainy season can take a toll on mental well-being. CureEZ understands this, offering a comprehensive mental health evaluation alongside physical health tests. This unique combination ensures that both your body and mind are cared for.
Expert Recommendations and Follow-up
After your results, our team of experienced doctors provides expert advice on the next steps. Whether it’s treatment, preventive care, or lifestyle changes, CureEZ is there to guide you throughout your journey to health.

The early detection allowed her to get treatment immediately, and within weeks, she recovered fully. Today, she recommends CureEZ’s checkup to all her friends and family as a lifesaving decision.
Mr. Kumar’s Health Journey

Can Homeopathic Treatments Offer Relief for Fatty Liver Sufferers?
Fatty liver disease (FLD) or hepatic steatosis is a disease categorized by the excessive accumulation of fat in the liver where it can cause inflammation, fibrosis and other sequels. While modern medicine goes on investigating for cure, people who suffer from this condition seek solace in homeopathy among other practices. However, homeopathy, as an effective non-conventional medicine has solutions back home for people with the problem of fatty liver? In this blog, one will explore whether homeopathy is effective when used a complementary therapy to deal with fatty liver disease.
Understanding Fatty Liver Disease
Fatty liver is commonly classified into two types: Fatty liver is commonly classified into two types:
Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD): This form occurs in those who rarely or never indulge in taking alcohol products or even those that take it occasionally. It’s often expected with pathologies like obesity, diabetes type II, hyperlipidemia and lipodystrophy, inclining towards a sedentary lifestyle.
Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (AFLD): Although there are several treatments for the AFLD, it can turn into more advanced stages such as alcoholic hepatitis or cirrhosis if produced by the overindulgence of alcohol.
The Role of Homeopathy in Managing Fatty Liver
I would like to remind that homeopathy is a comprehensive system of medicine which uses highly diluted substances to activate body’s self-singing reactions. Hence it seeks to embrace a more holistic approach to healing whereby the patient is diagnosed as a complex organism and not just the disease. Homeopathy isn’t probably going to cure fatty liver disease by physically removing it but it may assist in reducing fat in the liver through enhancing the liver’s ability to perform its duties while at the same time targeting the causes of fat deposition.
Benefits of Homeopathic Treatment for Fatty Liver
Holistic Approach: Continuing with an introduction on homeopathy-the system not only gives attention to the patient’s physical status but also to his/her mental and/or emotional status. This could be of help when it comes to handling the fatty liver since it tries to treat not only the liver function but also the factors that came with it such as digestion, metabolism, and stress.
Minimal Side Effects: Due to the claimed potency being within the drops or pellets, homeopathic remedies are thought to be relatively safe and without side effects due to which they are quite popular among people who prefer natural treatment over the conventional pharmaceutical ones.
Addressing Root Causes: Specifically, homeopathy addresses the factors that lead to the formation of fatty liver including unhealthy nutrition, lack of exercise or possible metabolic disorders. Thus, the mentioned factors may be helpful for using homeopathic therapy for avoiding further development of the disease.
Complementary to Conventional Treatments: Fatty liver disease and homeopathy: how homeopathy can complement conventional medical approaches. Such a combined approach may help improve global results due to the treatment of the liver and reduction of symptoms while making lifestyle modifications that include diet and exercise to address the origin of the issue.
Limitations and Precautions
In as much as homeopathy provides a customized and physiological approach to treatment of fatty liver, its shortcomings must be noted clearly. Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease particularly at the stages of steatohepatitis or cirrhosis needs treatment through consultation with the doctor and adopting healthier lifestyle changes. Homeopathy may not be enough to try and reverse the scenario or state in question on its own.
Any person considering HPT for their current ailment should first talk to his/her healthcare provider as a first step to facilitate the use of homeopathic remedies. Homeopathy should not be used as a substitute for conventional medicine but it should be used in conjunction with conventional medicine.
Conclusion
Our holistic approach to treat fatty liver disease thus ensures that the patient’s body receives a gentler treatment while the liver is supported to work effectively. In fact, such homeopathic treatments are rather helpful and can alleviate the symptoms as well as support the work of the liver if administered with other types of treatments. If the person is interested in the natural and holistic system of medicine then they should consider taking homeopathy treatments because it can supplement the conventional methods of treatment with other changes such as dietary changes and exercises.
All in all, the overall effectiveness of homeopathic treatment for fatty liver depends on the individual approach of an experienced homeopath and patient’s willingness to make the necessary changes in his or her lifestyle for the sake of the liver.

Guide to Tartar: Prevention, Treatment, and More
Tartar, also known as dental calculus, is a hardened form of plaque that can build up on your teeth over time. While it might seem like a minor issue, tartar can lead to serious dental problems if not properly managed. Understanding how tartar forms, how to prevent it, and how to treat it is essential for maintaining optimal dental health.
What is Tartar?
Tartar is a crusty deposit that can trap stains on the teeth, causing discoloration. It forms when plaque, a sticky film of bacteria, hardens on your teeth. This process can happen both above and below the gumline, leading to a variety of dental issues. Unlike plaque, which can be removed with regular brushing and flossing, tartar requires professional cleaning by a dentist or dental hygienist.
Causes of Tartar Buildup
Several factors contribute to the formation of tartar:
Poor Oral Hygiene: Inadequate brushing and flossing allow plaque to build up and harden into tartar.
Diet and Lifestyle Factors: Consuming sugary or starchy foods and drinks can increase plaque production. Smoking also contributes to tartar formation.
Tobacco Use: Smoking and using tobacco products increase the risk of tartar formation.
Genetic Predisposition: Some people are naturally more prone to tartar buildup due to genetic factors.
Tartar Symptoms and Signs
Tartar can lead to various dental problems if not managed properly. Here are the common symptoms and signs of tartar buildup:
Yellow or Brown Deposits on Teeth
Bad Breath (Halitosis)
Gum Inflammation (Gingivitis)
Bleeding Gums
Receding Gums
Tooth Sensitivity
 Loose Teeth
Tooth Decay
Tartar Prevention Tips
Preventing tartar buildup is crucial for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Here are some effective strategies:
Daily Oral Hygiene Practices: Brush your teeth at least twice a day using fluoride toothpaste. Don’t forget to floss daily to remove plaque between your teeth.
Importance of Regular Dental Check-ups: Visit your dentist every six months for a professional cleaning and check-up. Your dentist can remove any tartar that has formed and check for signs of gum disease.
Dietary Recommendations: Reduce your intake of sugary and starchy foods. Drink plenty of water to help wash away food particles and bacteria.
Treatment Options
If you already have tartar buildup, there are several treatment options available:
Professional Dental Cleaning: A dental hygienist can remove tartar using special tools during a routine cleaning.
Scaling and Root Planing: This deep-cleaning procedure involves removing tartar from above and below the gumline. It’s often recommended for patients with gum disease.
Home Remedies and Over-the-Counter Products: While these can’t remove tartar, they can help manage plaque and prevent further buildup. Use antimicrobial mouthwash and tartar-control toothpaste.
Risks and Complications of Untreated Tartar
Ignoring tartar buildup can lead to serious dental issues:
Gum Disease and Periodontitis: Tartar can cause inflammation and infection of the gums, leading to gum disease. If left untreated, this can progress to periodontitis, a severe form of gum disease resulting in tooth loss.
Tooth Decay and Loss: Tartar can erode the enamel, leading to cavities and tooth decay. Severe decay can cause tooth loss.
Impact on Overall Health: Poor dental health has been linked to various systemic conditions, including heart disease and diabetes.
Maintaining Tartar-Free Teeth
To keep your teeth free from tartar in the long term:
Maintain a consistent oral hygiene routine and make regular dental visits a priority.
Consider using an electric toothbrush, which can be more effective at removing plaque. Water flossers can also be beneficial for cleaning between teeth.
If you notice any signs of gum disease, such as bleeding gums or persistent bad breath, consult your dentist promptly.
Conclusion
Understanding and managing tartar is crucial for maintaining a healthy, attractive smile. By following good oral hygiene practices, making regular dental visits, and seeking timely treatment, you can keep your teeth and gums in excellent condition. Prioritize your dental health and enjoy the benefits of a bright, tartar-free smile.

How To Reduce Your Neuropathic Pain at Home
There are many different ways that people experience neuropathic pain. Some may feel a sharp stabbing pain in the middle of the night when they get up to get a glass of water from the kitchen. Others might encounter a tingling feeling or a constant pricking as they go about their daily activities, from getting dressed in the morning to completing small activities such as organizing around the house, making a meal, or taking out the trash.
Tumblr media
Pain can be localized or manifest as a minor irritation for some who have neuropathy, but everyone experiences it differently. Managing neuropathy pain when at home can be a great way to find relief, make daily tasks more pleasant, and provide you with the right tools to care for yourself while living with neuropathy.
But what exactly is neuropathy and how does it impact the body?
Neuropathy can come about from many different sources such as diabetes, chemotherapy, HIV/AIDS treatment. Neuropathy is a condition that causes a range of health problems that stem from damage to the peripheral nerves. While the nerve damage cannot be reversed, taking certain steps to prepare for and mitigate the pain can be done. If you find yourself struggling with your neuropathy symptoms but are unsure about what you can do about it to manage the pain at home, here are 3 treatments that will help.
3  At-Home Treatment for Neuropathic Pain Management
1. Walk Regularly.
Don’t discount the ability to ward off the more painful elements of your neuropathy by walking. For people with peripheral neuropathy, exercising, using their muscles, and raising their breath rate are all excellent ways to stay active and build muscle strength.
Daily movement is beneficial for your overall health and is always recommended to live a healthy lifestyle. However, if your neuropathy impacts your feet or your lower legs, walking or light aerobic activities will greatly benefit your condition. Walking improves blood flow to the legs and feet, in addition to strengthening and toning your muscles, all while improving blood circulation.
Daily movement and walking is a great way to mitigate further tingling, burning, or numbness that may develop if you have neuropathy due to diabetes or other conditions.
2. Use Supplements.
Vitamin deficiency is one of the contributing factors to neuropathy suffering. Nutritional supplements, along with a healthy and balanced diet, are a great way to regulate the body and reduce neuropathic pain.  When we are not consuming enough nutrients and not absorbing them efficiently, our bodies will lack the foundational nutrients that it needs to perform various tasks, such as maintaining the nervous system, healing the body, and working effectively.
To combat the lack of vitamins and nutrients your body receives on a daily basis, the following supplements may help to support your body against neuropathic pain:
Vitamin B-12: Any type of numbness, prickling, or tingling sensations that are typically sparked due to your nerve endings will benefit from a vitamin that supports the nervous system. Using the more potent form of Vitamin B-12, known as Methylcobalamin, the body can absorb this vitamin into the bloodstream to improve reflexes, lessen pain, pricking or tingling sensations, and provide overall nerve health. This vitamin also benefits the circulatory and immune systems.
Vitamin D: Many patients with neuropathy have vitamin D deficiencies if they are diabetic or suffering from peripheral neuropathy. Typically people gain vitamin D nutrients from spending time in the sun, but depending on lifestyle, patients may have a varying opportunity to naturally get some rays. Instead, Vitamin D supplements may help improve the symptoms of those afflicted with diabetic neuropathy and help remedy the nutritional deficit in their diet.
Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Ingredients found in foods such as fatty fish, algae, and high-fat fruit and vegetables, such as avocado, those deficient in omega-3’s can also take the supplement form. For patients with neuropathy, working this supplement into a daily regimen can help as an anti-inflammatory and decrease burning and numbness associated with pain.
Make sure to consult with your doctor before adding any vitamins or supplements to your diet.
3. Take Care of your Feet.
Neuropathy in the feet is a common area to be affected for patients who are impacted by diabetic-induced neuropathy. These symptoms commonly affect the extremities of the body, especially tingling, loss of balance when walking, or burning sensations in the feet.
Taking good care of your feet as someone who deals with neuropathy is the best way to prevent further nerve damage and muscle weakness from developing.
Clean and manicure your feet every day. Keep your toenails short and manicured to avoid ingrown nails. After cleaning your feet, dry them with a soft towel, check for swelling, redness, or for signs of tear. If you find anything unusual on your toes or feet, make sure to report back to your physician or nurse. Foot moisturizer is also recommended to care for the skin on your feet.
Wear the right footwear. Make sure that you are not going barefoot outside, or walking barefoot over hard surfaces. Support your heel, keep your feet inappropriate shoes, and avoid wearing ill-fitted socks or shoes to maintain good circulation.
Managing Neuropathy Pain Requires a Collaborative Effort
Managing neuropathy takes a cyclical approach and cannot be solved with one form of treatment. Doing what you can at home to promote the best health including light exercise, utilizing the right supplements to aid in your nutrition, and maintaining your feet along with checking in with experts will support the best results.
It’s important to enlist healthcare professionals who know how to treat neuropathy and your individual goals. At Integrated Pain Management, we design a program of wellness that fits your individual needs and treats your specific condition. Our dedicated healthcare professionals strive to create the most comfortable environment for their patients by working with them to curate an integrated pain management plan, fully customized to you.
Your pain management program may include one or more of the conditions listed to the right. Click to learn more about each. If you have any questions, please contact our team to learn more, and to schedule an appointment with one of our specialists.

Understanding Dark Patches on Neck: Causes and Treatments
Ever looked in the mirror and noticed dark patches on your neck? It can be a bit alarming, especially when you’re not sure what’s causing them. Don’t worry—you're not alone. Dark patches on neck are quite common, and understanding why they appear and how to treat them can make a significant difference. In this comprehensive guide, we'll delve into the causes of these patches, effective treatments, and prevention tips to help you achieve a smoother, even skin tone.
What Are Dark Patches on Neck?
Dark patches on neck are areas where the skin becomes noticeably darker than the surrounding skin. These patches can vary in size and intensity and may appear as spots or a general discoloration. They can be unsettling and may affect your confidence, but understanding their nature is the first step in addressing them.
Common Causes of Dark Patches on Neck
Sun Exposure
The sun’s UV rays can lead to hyperpigmentation, causing dark patches to form on the neck. This is similar to how sunspots appear on other parts of the body.
Hormonal Changes
Hormonal fluctuations, such as those during pregnancy or menopause, can trigger increased melanin production, leading to dark patches on neck.
Skin Conditions
Certain skin conditions, like eczema or psoriasis, can cause discoloration and dark patches as part of the inflammation process.
Diabetes
In some cases, dark patches on neck can be a sign of insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes, a condition known as acanthosis nigricans.
Tumblr media
Skin Conditions That Lead to Dark Patches
Eczema
Eczema can cause inflammation and darkening of the skin in the affected areas. The constant scratching and irritation can exacerbate pigmentation issues.
Psoriasis
Psoriasis may lead to dark patches due to the buildup of dead skin cells and inflammation.
Acanthosis Nigricans
This condition causes dark, velvety patches, often found in skin folds such as the neck, and is commonly associated with insulin resistance.
How to Identify the Cause of Dark Patches
Assessing Your Skin’s History
Consider recent changes in your skincare routine, lifestyle, or health that might have contributed to the appearance of dark patches.
Consulting a Dermatologist
A dermatologist can provide a professional diagnosis by examining the patches and possibly conducting tests to determine their cause.
Effective Treatments for Dark Patches
Topical Treatments
Over-the-counter creams containing ingredients like Vitamin C, hydroquinone, or retinoids can help lighten dark patches by inhibiting melanin production.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels use acids to exfoliate the skin’s surface, promoting the shedding of pigmented cells and revealing a brighter layer underneath.
Laser Therapy
Laser treatments can target and break down excess melanin in the skin, leading to a more even skin tone.
Home Remedies for Dark Patches on Neck
Lemon Juice
Lemon juice has natural bleaching properties and can help lighten dark patches when applied regularly.
Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is soothing and can help reduce pigmentation and inflammation, promoting an even skin tone.
Turmeric
Turmeric contains curcumin, which has anti-inflammatory and skin-brightening properties, making it useful for treating dark patches.
Preventing Dark Patches: Tips and Tricks
Use Sunscreen
Applying sunscreen daily protects your skin from UV damage and prevents further darkening of existing patches.
Maintain a Healthy Diet
A diet rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals supports skin health and helps prevent discoloration.
Avoid Excessive Scratching
If you have a skin condition like eczema, avoid scratching to prevent further irritation and pigmentation.
When to See a Dermatologist
If dark patches persist despite home treatments or if they are accompanied by other symptoms, such as itching or severe inflammation, it’s essential to consult a dermatologist. They can offer targeted treatments and rule out any serious underlying conditions.
Best Products for Treating Dark Patches
Vitamin C Serums
Serums with Vitamin C help brighten the skin and reduce hyperpigmentation.
Retinoid Creams
Retinoids promote cell turnover and can help fade dark patches over time.
Hydroquinone Creams
Hydroquinone is a strong skin-lightening agent that can be effective for treating persistent dark patches.
Lifestyle Changes to Improve Skin Health
Stay Hydrated
Drinking plenty of water helps maintain skin elasticity and health.
Regular Exercise
Exercise improves blood circulation and helps in maintaining a healthy complexion.
Healthy Sleep
Adequate sleep supports skin repair and regeneration, helping to maintain an even skin tone.
How Diet Affects Skin Pigmentation
Antioxidant-Rich Foods
Foods high in antioxidants, like berries and leafy greens, help combat oxidative stress that can lead to pigmentation issues.
Vitamins and Minerals
Incorporate vitamins A, C, and E into your diet, as they support skin health and brightness.
Dark Patches vs. Other Skin Issues: A Comparison
Hyperpigmentation vs. Sunspots
While both involve dark patches, sunspots are specifically caused by UV exposure, whereas hyperpigmentation can result from various factors.
Eczema vs. Psoriasis
Eczema typically causes dry, itchy patches, while psoriasis results in red, scaly patches that can also lead to darkening.
Natural Ingredients That Help Brighten Skin
Green Tea Extract
Green tea has antioxidants that can help reduce pigmentation and improve skin clarity.
Rosehip Oil
Rosehip oil is rich in Vitamin A and C, which can help lighten dark patches and improve skin texture.
Maintaining Healthy Skin for a Clear Neck
Consistent Skincare Routine
Follow a regular skincare routine with gentle cleansing, moisturizing, and treatment products suitable for your skin type.
Avoiding Harsh Products
Choose gentle, non-irritating products to prevent further skin issues and discoloration.

Ayurvedic Treatment for Pre Diabetes
Pre diabetes is a condition where there is a higher blood sugar levels than the normal. It’s a very common condition now a day’s at the clinics. One of the main reason is sedentary lifestyle with inadequate physical activity and lack of awareness on food quality
Before people develop type 2 diabetes, they almost always have "prediabetes"—blood sugar levels that are higher than normal but not yet high enough to be diagnosed as diabetes.
Risk Factors:
• Stress • Junk food / high carb food • Improper sleep • Lack of physical activity • Obesity • Irregular menstruation in women • Pregnancy • Increased blood pressure • Increased cholesterol
How does Pre Diabetes Occur?
Glucose levels are balanced/controlled with the insulin. Insulin is a hormone which is released by pancreas. After digestion of food, the glucose which is produced from the food enters in to blood stream. Insulin allow the blood sugar to enter the cells and there by the blood glucose reduces. If there is a derangement here then a problem like Pre Diabetes may occur.
Symptoms:
• Increased thirst • Fatigue • Increased hunger • Frequent urination • Blurred vision
Diagnosis:
Blood tests FBS – 100 to 125 mg/dl HbA1c – 5.7 to 6.4%
Prevention
To follow a healthy lifestyle with moderate exercise including Yoga. To be conscious on what to eat and when to eat. Avoid binge eating Avoid sugars, maida/white flour and refined food Yogurt/ curd especially purchased from the market
Management Through Yoga
Yoga helps in prevention and management of prediabetes by lifestyle change (diet, exercise, habits and stress reduction). Through mind management, yoga helps in several ways: 1. Maintains normal blood glucose (fasting and post meal). 2. Normalizes weight and BMI levels. 3. Reduces HbA1C, bad cholesterol and need for diabetes medication 4. Increases good cholesterol, nerve conduction velocity. 5. Reduces high blood pressure and improves cardiac pumping efficiency even after bypass surgery. 6. This works by reducing stress levels as indicated by reduced blood levels of cortisol (stress hormone) and inflammatory markers.
Yoga Therapy:
Yoga should become a part of our daily life. Asanas, Pranayama’s, cleansing practices, meditation techniques are important part of yoga.
In daily practice it effects holistically where body and mind both are aligned. Asanas can be beneficial for the prediabetic patients. The important facet of Asanas is stability and they relax the body for long time.
Pranayama practices such as Bhastrika, Bhramari and Nadishodhana helps to calm down our nervous system and thus helps in diabetes treatment.
Bhastrika helps increasing oxygen level and thus it may increase metabolism of glucose in peripheral tissues and liver.
Usefulness of meditation in stress management is well proven by modern research. Mindfulness techniques can be helpful in treatment of diabetes.
Diet Advise:
Bring your awareness to the movements of the abdominal muscles moving up and down as you breathe in and out. Recognize the haphazardness and jerky movement of the abdominal muscles. Do not manipulate the breathing, let it be natural, simply observe the abdominal movement. Count five rounds mentally, one inhalation and one exhalation forming one round. Continue up to five rounds.
Phase 2: Associate With Breathing
