also i think 2023 was a year of personal growth because at the start of the year i cried whenever someone raised their voice or got angry at me at my customer service job

and now at the end i'm like oh you're pissed? at me specifically? because i happened to pick up the phone? well okay. sorry to hear that lol. anyway can we get onto how i can help?? i've got other things i need to do today.

#look i'm not saying it's GOOD customer service #but it turns out if you straight up don't react and just hear their massive pissed rant out. and then ask something like ok. can i have an #order reference? so i can take a look?#in the most neutral voice imaginable #they lose a lot of anger #like you're not shaking in your boots? you're not yelling back? well that's boring #effective for my mental health. as for customer service quality. i'll take the l.
