Effective Communication With children. What exactly does effective communication with children entails? How do you communicate with your children? Technology has made it easy for us as parents to spend time with our family and not talk at all. Some parents and children are often attached to cell phones, ipads and iPods and other gadgets, although they are in the same living room just a few feet from each other, but they may never exchange a word, all thanks to office work brought back home. Research suggests that talking and engaging with your children will have a significant impact on your child’s achievement. Everything we teach our children today ( i.e the training we give them) comes as a form of our report cards when we grow up. You and I are the results of our parents/guardians. What we do today and the decisions we make today are all as a result of how we were raised either by parents/guardians/environment/society. So if you want your children to do anything, teach that child and make sure the child understands. It is not every parent that can teach their children to understand, WHY?
