Omg I just remembered I always got my phone on eye comfort mode (reduces blue light) so whenever I look at my drawings without it my eyes BURNNNNNNSSSSS AHHHH!!!! DX it is HIGHLY recommended to look at my highly saturated drawings with it.

9. which do you prefer, hot coffee or cold coffee?

Cold, all the way. I have trouble processing the temperature of hot drinks, so I WILL burn myself unless I leave it to sit until it’s lukewarm. Cut out the middle man; give me ice in my coffee!

19. imagine we’re at a sleepover, would you paint my nails?

Um, yes! I’m the world’s worst at nails because my hands tend to tremor and I’ve got carpal and cubital tunnel in both arms, but if a messy paint job is fine by you, then I’d be honored. 😅

23. how do you feel about chilly weather?

My absolute favorite! My heat tolerance is low and grows lower every day. The weather is decent (read: below 80F) here in rural Oklahoma maybe four months out of the year, all told. 🥲

31. what type of music keeps you grounded?

Metal! Progressive melodeath is my personal favorite, but I love just about every subgenre. Letting myself get swept up in aggressive melodies or riffs, dissecting all the instrumental complexities, learning to understand different harsh vocal styles and what they’re actually saying… it’s the perfect music for taking my mind away from troubles and into a happy place. (Fittingly, I played my favorite Scar Symmetry song on my most recent shot day, and it soothed my nerves significantly, so I’ll be making that a habit moving forward!)

This is always my answer to the question "What's your favorite album?" but two to three times a year it absolutely consumes me and I can't (read: won't) listen to anything else, ever, at any point.

short fluff. pro hero! izuku (no. 1 in my heart and here), no pronouns used for y/n, y/n is shorter than izuku.

izuku midoriya grew up listening to his mom's 80's ballads. his mom's favorites were the bangles, reo speedwagon, and rocío dúrcal. so it's not uncommon to find some songs on his playlist for cleaning the house.

when you find him sweeping the kitchen and holding the broom as a microphone, you giggle. it's a rare sight, to see japan's number 1 hero in a space of domesticity. he looks at you, quickly setting the broom to the side and holding out his hand to you.

it almost seems planned, the way he pulls you into his embrace while a new song slowly begins, the same two notes keep playing as you recognize which one it is. one hand is on your waist and the other holds yours as izuku sways your bodies to the rhythm.

"close your eeeeyes" he cooes, "give me your hand, darling."

it's not the best voice objectively speaking, but there's something about the softness in which he sings that makes your heart burst. izuku midoriya is a romantic at heart, and if he weren't such a great hero, you could pay for his autotune and have him be the next romeo santos.

izuku treats the kitchen like it's a ballroom. he takes you through every corner, dancing to your heart's content. he sings every word like he means it, because he does.

"you know, i really like this song" he starts, staring dreamily into your eyes. "it reminds me of how i felt back in the day, i couldn't even imagine you loving me the way i love you. i still can't."

and as you look at him, the chorus strikes. you can't help but think he's right. because after his whole life trying and striving to be someone, his efforts finally paid off. he's not lonely, because he found you. he sighs as he rests his head on top of yours.

"i don't want to lose you, y/n. ever. i want us to last for centuries."
