Today in Pop Culture History: Sept 27, 1980 - David Bowie scored his fourth UK No.1 album with his fourteenth studio album #ScaryMonsters (And #Supercreeps). The album featured the singles ‘Ashes to Ashes and ’#Fashion’.

It’s my take (a Painting) on the famous collage artwork on the album cover by #EdwardBell. When this order came I wanted to challenge myself and paint it from memory with no photo reference (the little head games that go on here in the studio lol) Anyhow I knew if I screwed it up too bad I would have to repaint it right. I mean it was a commission after all. Anyhow I thought it came out pretty good.

When I got the order, I wanted to challenge myself, so I painted this with No Photo Reference, I didn't look and did it all from memory. And I think it came out pretty darn close. So a win.
