Headcanon that Abby wanted to get married at the courthouse under fake names, but Townsend insisted on a "proper" wedding and planned the whole thing.

Since I've almost finished sharing my Zach/Townsend fic, "And Not Known," with all of you, I'm excited to announce my new Abby/Townsend Fanfic, which will be coming soon. Ally Carter never really wrote them the love story they deserved, so I have. It's currently 60-something pages of mostly fluff, and though not quite finished yet, I'm super excited about it. You can read a short excerpt from a random chapter after the jump.

Abby gathered their plates and began to rinse them in the sink, but turned her head over her shoulder to add "the rumors about the knife fight are true, though."

"And the rumors you kissed Joe Solomon?" Townsend asked casually.

Abby dropped one of the plates in the sink, and it shattered. She let out a soft curse as she gathered the broken pieces.

"Also true then," Townsend concluded with a nod. "Good to know."

"I've kissed a lot of people," Abby said with a shrug. "You included."

"Oh, I remember," Townsend said, and Abby wasn't quite sure whether she hated the insinuation in his voice or really, really liked it.

"Are you jealous, Edward?" Abby asked with a smile.

"I was aiming for indifferent, Abigail," Townsend said evenly.

Abby laughed. "How's that going?"

Abby felt a shiver run down her spine as Townsend caught her eyes, and said, very seriously, "Not well."
