16. Household Role

What roles do they play at home?

A bit verse dependant

In his main verse - he’s a bit on the lazy side when it comes to things like the running of a household. He can cook but only the basics, and although he will tidy up after himself (will put things he’s using away and picks his dirty clothes up off the floor etc)he’s not the most diligent when it comes to housework. He’s quite organised in his own way so would be good at ensuring things like bills got paid and insurances were in place and would probably take the task on with an air of martyrdom once he realised no-one else was going to do it.

In other verses, he can be a bit less hopeless, depending on where he is and what's going on.

What role would they like to play?

Preferably a role where all the mundane household tasks were taken care or and he could instead focus on the ‘fun’ aspects of the house. He’d be the interior decorator and the social secretary of the household.

Do they like staying at home?

Yes and no. Rose is a social creature by nature and enjoys going out if it means he can socialize and be with friends. However, he also sees the value of staying home and indulging in his hobbies. He also loves to play host and is very welcoming to visitors. When it comes to romance Rose values as much time with a partner as he can get and enjoys long evenings sequestered away together somewhere private, staying at home gives him the chance to do that with them.  

What do they do when they do stay at home?

A myriad of things ranging from indulging his hobbies (reading, listening to music and composing his own) to playing host and having friends over.
