Oh this is an excellent start to a new era for the show. Not the best episode ever, but such an encouraging start that I can’t wait for more. It had the whimsy of Matt Smith’s run, the charm of Tennant’s, the character centric stories of Eccleston’s, and even took the plot developments I disliked from Whittaker’s era and made the most of them. Ncuti Gatwa is the Doctor, and it might be the quickest I’ve ever felt that during a Doctor’s freshman outing.
