i think it's nice GLaDOS isn't in a humanoid body actually. or in her regular chassis. made me realize GLaDOS isn't exactly... attatched to one body. she's had 2 4 but the potato was sorta involuntary and no Caroline doesn't count either and it would make sense for her to get into a new chassis for better practicality. how did everyone else see the new chassis btw? i personally saw it as a robotic-centipede because i can't imagine other types without needing an explaination of it's movement mechanics

i love subtle love (i'm not sure what to call the relationship here because "love" feels... a bit too straightforward? but it'll do for now.) stories to the bunch.... and this one's like, so friggin nice to have it be kinda.... not about romantic or sexual love for once. i like ChellDOS as much as the next guy but personally speaking i'm not sure explicit "they're flustered-they confessed-they kissed" cycle really... fits them? (for the people who do make this kind of stuff, please ignore me because i read those kind of stuff too LOL there aren't enough ChellDOS fics) their relationship is a lot. and all of it is contained well for a oneshot fic.

i think this is the only fic that Chell talking feels so damn appropriate. there's that interview of the Portal 2 scrapped stuff where Chell was supposed to say one word ("yes") and it was supposed to be impactful and shit? and the moment where Chell replies to GLaDOS just. it's like a spiritual successor to that moment. gives me the oomph!
