Would love to hear more of leave em burning please!
Good thing I have more to post! Sorry, this is a lot more than three additional sentences, lmfao.
Poor Chrissy, she's finally letting it all out:
“I – I’m okay. My mom was waiting for me when I got back inside after prom. She saw that I entered the front door alone and demanded to know how I got back home. Jason was supposed to have me back by ten thirty, so…” she took a breath before continuing, “I insisted that a friend dropped me off, that I was feeling tired and wanted to leave prom before it finished, and that I went on a short drive to get some fresh air so that I could clear my head. She went a bit hysterical on me, wigging out over the fact that my boyfriend was probably worried sick the entire time and that I shouldn’t have left his side.”
It was about an hour later when Eddie had actually dropped Chrissy off at the foot of her wealthy cul-de-sac, he figured. An hour too late for mommy dear.
“Did she scream or… do anything?”
“She screamed at me when I wouldn’t answer if the friend was a boy or a girl. It’s really – it’s hard to lie to her, Eddie. I think she ran with it when the silence became deafening. My dad then came down the stairway, and he said something along the lines of how they raised me better than to go off alone with strange friends in the middle of the night.”
“Jesus. Am I that strange?”

T| WC 1k | Steddie | Uncle Wayne POV
"You love him don't you?" Wayne whispers, breathy, quiet, his voice cracking around the edges of something that feels like raw emotion.
It's then that Eddie turns his gaze away from Steve to look at him, the light never fading from his eyes and the smile never wiping from his face.
Steve's sitting on the trailer floor, in the middle of the living room, Eddie's clothes hanging from his body as he flips through one of Eddie's many monster manuals. Wayne knows the boy would never admit it, but he's just as interested in D&D as the other kids. He's helping Eddie plan his next campaign for christ sake.
Next to Wayne, two cans of coke in hand and a love struck smile on his face, Eddie nods, his cheeks darkening as his smile ever so slightly fades. "Is that okay?" He asks, looking all the bit nervous as his eyes roam Wayne's face.
"More than okay, Son."
Eddie's smile brightens once again and if Wayne notices the small amount of tears welling in his eyes, he says nothing about.
"You ever going to tell him?" Wayne continues, nodding in Steve's direction, the boy still oblivious to the conversation being whispered behind his back.
"I don't know if I can."
Wayne says nothing to Eddie's reply as he watches the boy return to the living room where he sits down next to his best friend. Steve smiling bright as the sun upon Eddie's return.
Months go by and Wayne gets to watch as Steve falls too. It's there and so obvious to anyone but Eddie.
His eyes linger and his smile never fades. Soon Wayne sees as he sits a little closer and his cheeks grow a little pinker.
There's moments when Wayne catches what he can only describe as a love struck expression across Steve's face. Eddie's talking, because when is he not, and Steve's there, eyes wide and locked onto Eddie's ever changing expression.
He looks fond. Fond in a way Wayne's never seen anyone look at his nephew.
There's moments when he sees Steve hesitant. Moments when he and Eddie are so close and Steve's hand twitches like it wants to reach out. Moments when Steve looks like he wants to lean in but bites his lip and turns away with rosy cheeks.
It's nearly a year into their friendship when Steve's standing at Wayne's side and whispers, "I think I love him."
"Tell him," Wayne answers easily, leaving out the 'please' he so desperately wants to tack onto the end of that sentence.
Please, he thinks again as he watches Eddie turn to face them from across the yard, a smile so beautiful Wayne thinks it's the first time he's seen it on Eddie's face. The boy's elbow deep in his van as his cheeks grow a little pinker as he says with a smile, "Stevie, come here for a sec."
Steve leaves, but not before whispering back to Wayne, "I think I will."
No more than a week later Wayne comes home to find the boys on the couch, Steve sleeping and curled into Eddie's side, snoring with his nose pressed to Eddie's neck.
Wayne offers his boy a smile as he stirs from the sound of the door closing. He looks tired, arms tightening around Steve's waist as he smiles back and burrows closer, kissing the top of Steve's head before drifting back off.
"He loves me," Eddie says one evening, weeks down the road, a rare occasion when Steve isn't over, and Eddie's actually home.
Wayne smiles, his heart so warm and full as he says, "I know."
Steve's been over for a few weeks now. Part of Wayne's convinced he's moved in, what with the new additions to their fridge and bathroom vanity. The idea doesn't upset him in the least.
He's gotten to witness their love grow during that time anyway.
He's gotten to witness the way Steve kisses a grumpy Eddie good morning until he finally smiles.
Or the way Eddie lights up when Steve's arms wrap around his waist and he whispers an "I love you, Eds," that Wayne isn't sure if he's supposed to hear.
Or the way they giggle and kiss and love one another in such a beautiful and uninhibited way.
Granted too, sometimes that means Wayne's hears a bit too much. Eddie would be mortified to know there's been far too many occasions in which Wayne's had to leave the trailer to escape the gasping breaths that occasionally pour out from under his bedroom door.
Though this time, Wayne's inside as the boys are on the roof smoking and he thanks the lord above that all he can hear are the faintest of whispers.
There's only parts of the conversation that he catches, but his heart swells when he hears Eddie's voice so clearly say, "I'm gonna marry you someday, Steve Harrington."
Wayne cries the day Eddie shows him the ring.
And cries even harder when Steve shows him his.
Steve's hand is shaking where the single golden band lies on his ring finger, Eddie standing directly behind him, arm around his waist with a smile that matches Steve's in the way it resembles Sunshine.
They can't marry, not legally anyways. But that doesn't stop Jim Hopper from officiating a ceremony or Joyce Byers from walking Steve down the aisle.
The backyard to Hoppers cabin is filled with faces Wayne has grown familiar with over the years. Young and old, smiling and crying all the same.
Dustin and Robin both write speeches, both as rambling and as funny as they are beautifully heart wrenching.
There's not a dry eye in the house.
The boys move into an apartment where they build a life together.
Wayne visits often for meals or a cup of coffee in the mornings, still delighting in the way his Eddie seems so wonderfully overcome with love and affection.
He'd thought he'd shed enough tears for his lifetime at the wedding, but one evening, sat at the table with Robin Buckley and his boys, Wayne finds out he's gonna be a grandpa.
Elaine Birdie Munson is her name.
Sunshine, they call her instead.

“Shit.”
Eddie mutters the curse under his breath when he can't seem to release the clasp on his St. Christopher chain.
He'd plopped himself down next to Buck after arriving home from dropping off his fourteen-year-old budding socialite at a friend's house, having already kicked off his boots and hooking an arm around Buck's still crossed-at-the-ankle legs, getting comfy with them resting over his lap—well, his lap and the arm of the sofa, because Buck has the longest pair of pins in the whole frickin world.
“Nope, I'm afraid shit can't possibly be the answer to seven down, Eddie, because even though it starts with an ‘S’, and the third letter is definitely an ‘I’, twelve across has got to be 'Skating', which would make the second letter a ‘K’,” Buck says with mock-seriousness as Eddie is still attempting to take off his chain. “And anyways, I don't really think the answer to the clue ‘Dermis’ could legitimately be shit, not by any stretch of the imagination; ‘Dermis’ sounds too… I dunno. Scientific? Medical?”
Eddie snorts his amusement at Buck, and Buck grins back at him with that particular twinkle in his eye that Eddie has come to think of as belonging to him.
He really tries his best not to be possessive over his best friend, knows he has no right to anything like that, but Eddie can't help being in love with Buck, no matter how much he wishes he wasn't.
Eddie's been fighting his desires his entire life, regardless of the fact he knows there isn't a damn thing wrong with being gay. But growing up in Texas, with a family as traditional as his own? It means Eddie hasn't ever felt entitled to getting the things he wants in life.
Buck must notice Eddie struggling, then, because he immediately drops his pen and the crossword puzzle book Eddie picked up for him yesterday at the newspaper stand near the firehouse, and is now swinging his legs off the sofa so he can scooch further up to Eddie, until he's almost on top of Eddie, and is saying, “Here, let me get that for you, Eds.”
Eddie freezes.
He knows he should shoo Buck away like he's supposed to, do the right thing, but ever since Buck started dating Tommy—and ever since Buck broke up with Tommy—Eddie's been pretty bad at being well-behaved around Buck.
Buck doesn't exactly make things easy, though. Never has, truth be told. He's always been a really tactile kind of guy, and right now his tactile nature is trying to murder Eddie, dead, dead, dead.
“Lemme just…” Buck's tongue is poking out of his mouth and resting against his bottom lip in concentration—and Eddie knows he should look away but can't—and then he's leaning right into Eddie's space, like he goddamn belongs there and, oh god, Eddie can't take this. He can't. He can't fucking breathe let alone act like this isn't bothering him, like it isn't turning him on like he's a horny teenager again, like this isn't everything he wants and has dreamed of. “Eds, just… lean forward a little would you, so I can—a little bit more, man, c'mon, don't be shy, I just need to…”
Buck really is on top of Eddie now, big arms wrapped around Eddie's head, musky cologne in Eddie's nostrils and warm breath in the shell of Eddie's super-sensitive ear and fuck, he's practically straddling Eddie now, right thigh pushed up against Eddie's junk, oh hell, and Eddie is panting softly and only about two seconds away from moaning his best friend's name like the pathetic hot mess that he is, Jesus fucking Christ.
“Got it,” Buck mutters, and just as he goes to lean back and pull away from Eddie, Eddie hears his internal monologue say: Yeah, I've got it real bad.
Then something just—snaps inside of his brain before it's shutting down completely and his heart is in his throat as he finds himself whispering, “Screw it,” while he grabs onto both of Bucks biceps with purpose because he's terrified that if he doesn't, they might leave him forever.
“Wait,” he says. Pleads.
Buck's right thigh is snug against Eddie's left one, the other still in Eddie's lap, his gorgeous face right there next to Eddie's, so close Eddie can almost feel the prickle of Buck's stubble.
“Eds?” Buck whispers, and his breath is mingling with Eddie's and Eddie hasn't prayed for a long, long time, but he's praying now; praying that he's not about to fuck up the best thing, bar Christopher, that has ever happened to him; praying for redemption; praying that Buck might want Eddie even just a fraction of the amount Eddie wants Buck.
His voice breaks when he says the only thing he can. “Don't go.”
Eddie wants this so, so badly, just this one thing, that's all he's asking for, and he's willing to beg for it if he has to—swears he'll never ask for anything again as long as he fucking lives.
“I'm not, Eds, I'm…” Buck trails off, frowning a little. He swallows audibly and licks at those sinful lips that are right fucking there and then says, “What, um—w-what exactly do you mean by 'don't go', Eddie?”
Eddie's heart is thumping so hard against his ribcage it feels as if it's going to burst right out of his chest, and Buck has to be able to feel it too because his solid chest is pressed up firmly against Eddie's, and Eddie can't believe he's doing this and seriously might just pass the fuck out any minute now—
“I don't…” Eddie shakes his head.
Fuck.
Is he really doing this?
“You don't know? Or you don't want me to go—like, as in go home?” Buck's asking. Eddie can't breathe. “Or do you mean, like, go, uh, g-go away from—from right here?” Buck swallows again and Eddie has never wanted anything more than to lick a long stripe up that prominent Adam's Apple of Buck's. “Do you mean don't go from this, Eds? From… from you.” And that last part doesn't sound like a question, it sounds like Buck gets it, and like he isn't horrified by the idea or amused by it or as if he's pitying or mocking Eddie.
Unbelievably, it actually sounds a little like Buck might just want Eddie, too.
Eddie screws his eyes shut, and all he can manage to say is, “Yeah, Buck. The last one.”
Buck is then slowly, gently, sliding his cheek up and down Eddie's, and Eddie finally knows exactly how it feels to have that stubble dragging against his own and there is no fucking way on Earth he could hold in the almost sob-like breath that leaves his lips as Buck's line themself up with Eddie's trembling mouth.
He's gripping Buck's arms so tightly he's scared he might leave bruises there but can feel Buck smiling as he says, “Can I, Eddie? Please?”
Is this really happening?
“Fuck yes,” Eddie urges, and then Buck is kissing him; slowly; gently, and with so much of something that feels like it could be love that Eddie wants to cry.
Then Buck's pulling away, yet not really away because it's only barely enough to let Eddie swallow the boulder-sized lump in his throat and try to catch his breath—only he doesn't quite manage to catch the tear that escapes the corner of his left eye. Somehow, though, that's okay, because Buck kisses that, too—and Eddie finds himself letting it all go, then, and smiling back at the man he's been in love with for almost six years as he cries, because he can finally feel all the colours of the rainbow on his face.
“Eddie, you have no fucking idea how long I've wanted to do that,” Buck chuckles, and Eddie leans in and tilts his own head back slightly and Buck's down a little to press lips against Buck's birthmark, smiling like a fool through his tears.
Buck puts his arms fully around Eddie's shoulders and hugs him, tight.
Eddie just breathes him in until he feels settled enough to look at Buck without welling up again.
“Skin,” Buck says then, bringing his hands to Eddie's face and holding it, brushing thumb pads along Eddie's cheeks and drying his tears because he wants to, and can. Eddie squints in slight confusion at the word, before Buck's revealing the meaning behind it, telling him, “Seven down, Eds, it just came to me: It was the word skin. Yours is—man, it's even smoother than I'd imagined. So, so beautiful. You're beautiful.”
“God, I fucking love you, Buck,” Eddie blurts, because he can't help it. “I'm—I'm in love with you, Evan, and I just—I'm sorry it's taken me so long to tell you that, taken me too long to get my shit together and pull my head out of my—”
“Beautiful, insanely perfect ass,” Buck laughs, and then he's kissing Eddie again, like they've been doing this forever, and Eddie's kissing him back and laughing, too.
“Stay,” Eddie begs between kisses. “Stay forever, Buck.”
Buck looks at Eddie like a man in love and says, “I'm in love with you too, Eds. So, yeah, sure, I can do forever,” he promises.
And Buck always keeps his promises.

If You Seek Eddie

You knew what you were doing was wrong, but a stronger part of you couldn’t stop yourself. It was like a magnetic force, pulling you closer…drawing you in. You were addicted to the boy and nothing you did would scratch the itch you had for him. If only you had the courage to speak to him, if only he would notice you. It would be different, maybe you’d be the center of his affections or at the very least, a casual fuck. At this rate, you’d settle for just about anything as long as it involved him. Here it was, just another typical Saturday night and you were glued to your bedroom window. Sitting in the dark so you couldn’t be seen, waiting to get a glimpse of the hottest boy you had ever seen. Your neighbor, Eddie Munson, whose bedroom just so conveniently faced yours.
He had just gotten home from what you had presumed was a date, however, he seemed frustrated. When you had heard the familiar whining of his van and the screeching of his breaks when it halted to a stop, you were unable to keep from peeking out of your living room window just to see him. Eddie hopped out of his van, slamming his door shut harder than usual. His hands balled into fists, a scowl permeated his face, and the gravel crunching loudly under his sneaker clad feet as he stomped up to his door. His wallet chain swinging off of his hip with each of his strides. You could practically see his trailer shudder once he slammed his front door shut. A large part of you wished you had the courage to go over, knock on the door, see if he was okay. “Let’s face it, you’re a coward.” You muttered to yourself as you slinked off to your bedroom, not bothering to turn on the light.
Peeking out from the corner of the window, hoping the one streetlight on your street wouldn’t tattle to him with your little perverted secret. Eddie’s bedroom window lit up, like a beacon begging for your attention. He still had that scowl seeping into his features, a beer in hand as slammed his bedroom door shut. He reached for something, his stereo began booming loudly with screeching metal as he flopped down on his bed. His shoes already had been kicked off, one of his toes peeking out of a hole in the material. Giggling softly to yourself at how silly it seemed, but quickly you covered your mouth. Too afraid that somehow he may hear you, even though it seemed impossible with how quiet you were in contrast to how loud his music was.
Eddie had grabbed his guitar from beside him, seeming to have left it on his bed, your eyes focusing on his thick and nimble fingers work up and down the fretboard. He was lost in concentration, his tongue poking out in the slightest way as it always seemed to do when he was focused on something. Oh how many times you had imagined that tongue on your body — inside of you. Clenching your thighs together at the thought, you cursed under your breath. Noticing movement out of the corner of your eye, you look back up to see Eddie standing now. With a swift motion and one hand, he pulls his shirt off, revealing his toned torso that was littered in delicious tattoos. Biting your bottom lip as you imagined tracing the delicate lines with your finger — with your tongue. A small line of hair beginning just above his navel and traveling down and disappearing into his blue checkered boxers that were now hanging over the waist of his jeans. The belt he wore doing little to conceal them, which you were always thankful for.
One hand was wrapped around the aluminum beer can, he takes a long gulp of the alcohol as his other one quickly unbuckled his jeans. There was something so attractive about the action and seeing the veins bulge out in his arm with the simplest flex of his muscles was always the hottest thing you had ever seen. A whimper escapes your lips unwillingly as he sets his beer back down to slide his tight, dark jeans down his legs. His pale white legs were littered with hair, his crumpled boxers that were bunched up high on his thighs were now settling almost halfway to his knees.
He looks out his window and for a moment it feels like he may see you, your heartbeat thunders in your veins as you wait for him to get mad, mortified, appalled…something. Instead, he just smirks to himself as he looks down at his feet. Titling your head to the side, you’re curious to know what that smirk is about. Eddie lays back on his bed, one arm propped under his head like a makeshift pillow. His hand, which was still clad with all of his rings, starts lazily tracing patterns on his chest and slowly begins its descent down his stomach. Feeling your breath catch in your throat, you instinctively lean closer to the window, afraid you may miss something.
When Eddie’s fingers started creeping into his boxers, you couldn’t help the small mewl escaping your lips. Wishing so badly that you were the one that was touching him. His bottom lip sucked in between his perfect teeth as he palmed himself underneath the thin material. Your arousal was beginning to pool in your panties at this point. It all felt so wrong to watch him when he’s so unaware, but something felt so right at the same time. Your hand subconsciously slid into the thin fabric covering your pussy which was already damp with your slick arousal.
Eddie’s lips parted, you could only assume a moan escaped those beautiful, plump lips. How badly you wished to hear it, you imagined him moaning your name as your finger swirled over your aching clit. Your soft moan filled the silent room, your eyes still glued to him. His hand retracted from his boxers, the tent he was pitching made you gasp softly at the length. As if Eddie could hear your thoughts, he granted your wish and freed his hard cock. It was long and thick, even in all of your fantasies and dreams you never imagined it would be so pretty. The head was a darkened pink, it was hard to make out far away but you could swear it was glistening with pre-cum. What had him so worked up?
Your finger now circling your swollen bud with new fervor at the gorgeous sight, your moans filling your darkened room. Eddie’s veins in his hand were bulged out as he fisted his cock, you matched your pace on your clit to the thrusts of his hand. Occasionally he would spit into his palm and continue, it was so sexy…so dirty. The longer you watched, the more obsessed with him you felt. His eyes closed tightly, his mouth hanging open in pleasure. The color of his cock turning a darker shade of pink as he edged himself closer to his release, you felt that familiar tightness in your belly. Imagining it was Eddie touching you, imagining you were touching him — riding him, kissing him.
Holding onto the window sill for fear of your knees giving out from the intense pleasure that was building up inside of you, Eddie’s hips were thrusting up into his hand so that he was fucking his fist. As if it were synchronized together, the first waves of your orgasm began rocking through you as Eddie tensed up and shuddered. Long, stringy ropes of his cum spurted up, coating the back of his hand and stomach. Your body quivered as you soaked your hand and your underwear, cursing under your breath. “Fuck.” The both of you were panting softly from the exertion of your release. Eddie leaned over to his nightstand and grabbed a Kleenex, wiping his cock off roughly. Chuckling softly to yourself as you discard your used panties and toss them into your hamper. That’s when Eddie pulled his boxers back up and turned off his light. Sighing softly as you went to get ready for bed yourself, you cursed yourself being too chicken to just talk to him.
The following Wednesday, that itch was desperate for scratching. Eddie had his curtains drawn since his last ‘performance’ and you were needing more. Remembering that today was his Hellfire meeting because you had seen him chatting with his fellow members before you left school. He was running down the hall like a goofball, being overly dramatic about his campaign and making the other kids laugh. At this point, you knew Eddie’s schedule so well and knew he wouldn’t be home until late. The itch was growing louder with need in your mind, consuming every thought. You paced around your trailer, having an argument of morality and legality of what you were wanting to do. “You’re being fucking crazy….stalkerish….oh my god, what if he catches you?” You kept muttering under your breath.
Pinching the bridge of your nose and scrunching your eyes tight, letting out a sigh, mumbling, “Five minutes. In and then out.” Trying to establish boundaries with yourself as you prepared to do probably the stupidest thing you had done to date. The sun had gone down, the little trailer community was dark and quiet. You put on a pair of black shorts to combat the oncoming summer heat, and a black zip up hoodie, just praying no one would see what you were about to do.
Leaving your porch light off, you sneak out of your trailer and scurry across the street. Checking over your shoulders to make sure no one was watching before you slowly opened up the screen door to Eddie’s trailer. Knowing that Wayne was already at work by the absence of his truck so it would be empty. Your heart thundering in your ears as the hinge squeaks, your palms were already sweating as you looked around again. No one was looking outside, yelling at you, calling you crazy or asking what the hell you were doing. You let out a breath you hadn’t realized you were holding. Slowly, you turned the door knob which was unlocked, cracking the door and squeezing inside quickly, shutting the door behind you. Paying attention to Eddie well enough, you knew the door was unlocked all of the time because he kept losing his key.
The trailer smelled like stale cigarettes and beer, a real man cave with all of the hats and trinkets that adorned the walls. Chuckling to yourself, and shaking your head because this was so not his aesthetic but it clearly was his uncles. Slowly, you tiptoed through his trailer still somehow paranoid you would be caught even though it was currently vacant. Your hands lightly grazing against the walls as you felt your way around, a little scared to turn on any of the lights. Pulling a flashlight out of your jacket pocket, you keep it low to the ground so that the neighbors don’t call the cops because they think a burglary is taking place. The thought of that happening makes you shudder, that would be truly mortifying.
Making your way down the hall, you can see what is clearly Eddie’s bedroom. His door ajar and you could already see the band posters, clips from magazines, and records plastered on the walls. It was familiar to what you were used to seeing when you’d watch him at night, but it was totally different seeing it in person. Your heart fluttered as you slowly pushed the door open, your fingertips grazing over the different tapes and albums. Seeing his dirty clothes strewn about on the floor, you picked up one of his shirts. Holding the fabric up to your face and breathing in his scent — it smelled like cigarettes, weed, and faintly like the cologne he must use. A whimper left your lips, your itch being metaphorically scratched as you were getting what you were craving. Well, not quite what you were craving, but close enough.
Holding onto the shirt still, you walked around his room, noticing the condoms on his night stand which were opened. Sighing softly into the empty room, “Lucky bitches…”, you mumbled to yourself. You look up and notice the handcuffs laying there as well, the flashlight reflecting off of the silver surface. Your eyebrow quirks up with a smirk. “Naughty little bastard…” A small laugh escapes your lips that is suddenly cut short when you hear the familiar whine of Eddie’s beat up van speeding down the street. The heavy metal music growing louder as he got nearer. Freezing in place, your heart falls to your feet. You begin looking around for an escape route, and seeing none. “Shit, shit, shit, shit…” Noticing his closet, you quickly stuff yourself inside, finding that it had more laundry that was piled up on the floor and you’re unable to close the door back all of the way. Trying to squeeze yourself into the darkest part of the closet, praying he doesn’t notice and goes to bed quickly so you can sneak out.
Eddie’s van screeches to a stop, the music cuts off abruptly and the screen door squeaks loudly as he swings it open. Your heart is thundering in your ears as you hear Eddie come inside. Hearing his keys jingle and scatter as he throws them onto the kitchen counter. The materials in the fridge clashing together as he swung open the door to grab what was presumably a beer. You jump slightly once the light in his bedroom comes on, making sure to cover your mouth to muffle any heavy breathing or noises you may make. The pop of the tab on his beer is loud and crisp, you hear the noises of him gulping it loudly. That’s when he comes into view of the small crack in the door. He sets his beer down on his nightstand, and he knits his eyebrows together as he inspects it. Something looks off to him, you can feel it. “What the..? That wasn’t there this morning. Wayne must have snooped through my room. Shit.” He muttered to himself, he quickly spun around on his heels as goes to search for something else. “Hope he didn’t find my stash…” You can tell he’s rummaging through things and then you hear a tin box open. “Okay, good.” He breathes a sigh of relief.
He comes back into view, you watch as he turns and scans the room to see if anything else is out of place. Your heartbeat is so loud in your ears that you’re afraid he could hear it, the clamp of your hand tightening around your mouth to make sure you couldn’t be heard. That’s when his gaze falls to the crack in the closet door, worried that he’s seen you because it seems like he’s making direct eye contact with you. He slowly approaches the door, in your head you are screaming at yourself for being so stupid and doing this. The embarrassment already settling in because you were about to be caught. Everything feels like it’s in slow motion as he slowly grabs the closet door handle and swings it open. His eyes widen as he notices you, shriveled up against the furthest wall, clinging to his dirty shirt. It felt like your skin was on fire, your blood rushing to your face and even the tips of your ears.
“Y/N? What the hell are you doing in my closet? Holding…my laundry?” A stern look was on his face, his eyebrows knitted with confusion and then his eyebrow quirks up into his curls, his mouth opening as his head tilts the side with realization. “Oh…” He looks you up and down, a grin now turning up the corners of his mouth which caused a little dimple to form in his cheek. “You freaky little perv.” He teases as he leans on his palm against the door frame, keeping you cornered in the closet. Your mouth drying up making it hard to talk and honestly you feel too stunned and embarrassed to speak.
“S-Sorry…I…I…” you begin to stammer, not sure what to even say at this point and you can’t even meet his gaze. He then reaches for you, his hand wrapping around your wrist with a surprisingly firm grip which causes you to wince. Pulling you out of the closet, his eyes scanning you from head to toe. His grip on your wrist still tight, he can feel the pulse in your veins racing as his chocolate eyes bore into your own. His free hand reaches up and tucks the hair that was falling in your face behind your ear.
“Sit down on the bed.” He instructs you, his voice is soft but there’s this dominance in that you can’t ignore. Immediately obeying his request, you sit on the edge of the bed with your hands falling into your lap.
“E-Eddie, I’m sorry. I…I don’t have an excuse.” Trying to explain yourself to him but Eddie stops you when his fingers grip your chin softly, pulling it upward to force you to maintain eye contact.
“Now, now, sweetheart. I don’t want to hear any excuses. You don’t think I don’t know about your little crush on me?” Your heart drops to your stomach, honestly feeling as if you could throw up in that moment. You attempt to swallow the dry metaphorical ball that has made a home in your throat as he continues. “Don’t think I haven’t noticed you watching me?” He leans down, his fingers still on your chin as he presses his lips against your ear to whisper. “You’re not as invisible as you think you are babygirl.”
Your thighs clenched together, your heart falling further into your stomach as you bite your lip to stifle a whimper. He pulls back to look at you with a crooked grin on his face. His thumb tracing your bottom lip as he continued to torment you. “You looked pretty hot with your hand down your panties, sweetheart. Why don’t you show me again?’
His grip on your chin falls, his eyes glued to you. Your eyes widened at his request, your heart racing wildly. “W-what?” Your nervousness evident as you continue to stutter.
“Babygirl, I’m not a very patient man. Show. Me. Again.” His tone grows deeper with each emphasized pause between the words, his chocolate eyes growing darker as he leans down to your eye level. He unzips your jacket revealing your tank top, your full cleavage showing, his smirk returns as his fingers graze over your soft skin which sends a chill down your spine. Slowly, your hand slides into your shorts, your finger grazes your already swollen nub and you inhale sharply. Closing your eyes so that you can just focus on what you’re feeling.
“Aht, aht, sweetheart. Look at me.” His hand caresses your cheek, you look up at him with a soft whimper dancing off of your lips as your finger swirls a little faster. His thumb brushes over your cheekbone while his smirk never falters. Leaning down to your level again, his plump lips push against yours with a soft kiss. You could honestly melt into a puddle right then. His hand had moved to the side of your neck, his thumb gliding along your jaw as he deepened the kiss. Getting distracted, you stop rubbing your clit and focus on his pillowy lips but he pulls away abruptly. Gasping softly at the loss of his mouth, you frown. “I didn’t tell you to stop.” His eyes were stern, his lips pursed together.
“S-sorry…” You whimper again, your finger continues to swirl around your clit, moaning softly as Eddie’s face lights up in delight.
“Good girl, making such pretty noises. I was wondering what they sounded like..” He kneeled down, his fingers hooking into your shorts, you gasp softly as the cool metal of his rings touch your warm skin. “Jus’ gonna take these off of you, babygirl. Need to see that pretty pussy.” You lay back and lift your hips up as he pulls your shorts down your legs. He brings them up to his face, inhaling the scent of your arousal on your panties and groaning softly with need. “Fuck, you smell so good. And such a pretty pussy, I knew it…” He glides his hands over your thighs, spreading your legs, your slick folds blooming open for him.
His calloused fingers massage your thick thighs as you continue to rub your pussy for him, moaning softly, clenching at nothing — desperate for him to fill you. His bottom lip pinched between his teeth. “Fuck…need to taste it, baby. Can I?” His voice dripping with need, this was everything you always fantasized about and more.
“Mmf, please, Eddie…” you moaned softly as you removed your hand from your clit. Eddie placing wet kisses up the inside of your thigh, his groans vibrating off of your skin as he got closer to your soaked core, the scent of your arousal driving him crazy. His grip on your thighs tightened as he pulled you to the edge of the bed. Making his tongue flat as he dragged it across your clit at an agonizingly slow speed, sending a jolt through your body that cause your hips to buck up into him — desperate for more contact. Eddie moaned with delight at your sweet taste.
“Mm…taste so good, baby…” His arms hook under your thighs, his hands gripping tightly as he begins to devour you. His lips engulfing your clit as his tongue methodically flicked over it, his moans vibrating against your sensitive flesh. Your hands instinctively tangle in his curls, your back arching as you get lost in the sensations. The moans escaping your lips encouraging Eddie to keep going as his tongue licked up your slit, slowly sliding in and out of you to open your folds up for him as began to tongue fuck you. His tongue curling up to brush against that spongy spot along your walls. Mewling for him as he probed it over and over.
“F-fuck, Eds….feels s-so good…” you manage to moan out. Glancing down you see Eddie’s eyes staring at your face, they were half-lidded and his cheeks were wrinkled with a smile. He pulls away just far enough to speak, the loss of him causing you to whimper.
“Wanna make you cum on my face, baby.” Then he dove back in, his tongue taking turns from your clit to inside of you. The combination was unlike anything you’ve ever felt before. Eddie was like a man starved as he continue to lap up your juices, moaning softly while he suckled on your clit which caused you to cry for him and grind your pussy against his mouth. He then unhooked one of his hands from your thigh and slowly began to slide his finger in and out of your pussy, going slow to allow you to stretch around his thick digit. Your hands gripped the bedsheets as his finger hooked up and began putting pressure on that special spot. The coil in your belly was tightening and you felt like you could come undone at any moment. Eddie could tell with how you clenched him so tightly, this only encouraged him further.
“C’mon, princess…cum for daddy…” He murmured against your clit before continuing his assault, the sensations were overwhelming. Your thighs trembling around his face as he brings you to the brink of your release. The coil that was tightening in your belly snaps, your body shuddering as you let out a long, drawn out moan as the first waves of pleasure rush over you. Every atom in your body felt like it was buzzing as the waves kept coming. Eddie hums happily against your sensitive nub as he continues lapping up your juices, his darkened half-lidded eyes staring at you.
“E-Eds….please….too sensitive…” You whimper as you try to pull him off of you. Every nerve ending felt like it was on fire.
Eddie pulled back just far enough to speak, his lips still brushing against your tender flesh. “I’m not finished yet, princess.” The tip of his tongue drags upward along your clit, causing you to jump with a soft whine. The dimple in his cheek so defined as he smirked at you. “So fucking responsive…” He dived back into your wet heat with renewed fervor, his goal to drive you absolutely mad. Your body writhed on the bed as he quickly brought you back to the edge of another orgasm. Panting heavily with loud moans that bounced off the walls of his room. Eddie slowly eased a second finger inside your tightness, allowing your pussy to stretch around it. Groaning softly against your skin as he imagined how it would feel on his cock.
“F-fuck, yes, Eddie…godfuckingdamnit, yes…shit….fuck…” Exasperated curses as the pleasure overwhelmed you, your back arching off the bed. Your fingers tangled in his thick curls as your body quaked for him. He felt your pussy clench his fingers as the coil deep within your belly tightened. Your body shuddered once again as the coil snaps and you come undone. The juices of your essence flowing out of you as he eagerly lapped it up. Once your body finally calmed, he slowly pulled away and retracted his fingers. Wiping his chin off with the back of his hand, a wide grin on his face.
“Damn, angel.” He chuckled softly as he rose to his feet. Your chest heaving as you struggled to catch your breath, slowly propping up on your elbows to look at his beautiful face.
“You are really talented with your tongue. You know that?” A breathy laugh slipping past your lips. A pink blush spreading across Eddie’s freckled cheeks, his grin never faltering as he leaned down to kiss you. “Eddie Munson, are you blushing?” You murmured as his lips contacted yours, his hand on the back of your head to hold you in place. Once he pulled away, he pursed his lips together, seemingly embarrassed that you called him out.
“Maybe I am, doll face. But just so you know, we’re still not done.” His hand fell down to his belt where he unbuckled it and pulled it out of the loops of his jeans in one fell swoop. Your mouth dropping at just how hot it was. “Do me a favor, take the rest of your clothes off.” Without a second thought, you sat up and removed your jacket and tank top, quickly discarding it on his bedroom floor. Unclasping your bra and sliding it off your shoulders before tossing it with the rest of your clothes. Eddie’s eyes lit up at the sight of your bare breasts, sucking his bottom lip in between his teeth. “Fuck. Why are you so hot?”
A blush spreads across your cheeks, it all felt like a dream because you had been wanting this for so long. Eddie yanks his shirt up over his head, his torso pale and bare. Without thinking, you reach up and trace the tattoo on his chest. His skin shuddered under your touch, his hand caressed your jaw as he leaned down and kissed you. While bent down, he slides his jeans and boxers down his legs. His hard cock sprung free, you gasped softly as you’re finally seeing it in person. A light chortle radiates out of Eddie as he watches your reaction, a crooked grin turning up his mouth.
“Such a pretty cock, Eddie…” you murmured, leaning forward and placing soft kisses on the shaft. A low, guttural groan emits from his lips. Placing his hand on the back of your head, it twisted around your hair into a makeshift ponytail as you wrapped your lips around his thick hard on. Slowly, you took him in — inch by inch, until finally he was all the way in your throat. Eddie gasping and groaning the deeper he went. Your head bobbing up and down his length, creating a steady rhythm as your tongue curled around him. It didn’t take long for Eddie to begin thrusting his hips to meet your mouth. He kept your eye contact as you looked up at him with half-lidded eyes, drool dripping off your chin as he fucked your throat.
“F-Fuck, you freaky little slut. Shit…god, you feel so good.” Pulling you by the hair off of him, forcing you to look up at him. Your eyes had been watering and slobber was all over your chin, looking like a beautiful mess to Eddie. His chest rising and falling quickly, his grin wide as hell as he admired you. “Damn, babygirl. That pretty mouth has some talent. Now turn over onto your stomach and stick that gorgeous ass in the air for me. Hm?”
Being obedient as ever, you swiftly submit to his demands flipping over onto your hands and knees. You look back at him with a smirk as you shake your ass to tease him. Eddie groans softly, his cock twitching in response. His hand slaps down on your plump curve, the sting from the metal of his rings causing an even more delicious sting. A small yelp escaping your lips, his hand rubs over your skin soothing the pain he caused. “Shit, sweetheart. So perfect…” He murmured softly, his hand rubbing every inch of skin he can reach. “Face down, babe.” He rubs the tip of his dick along your slick folds, lubricating himself with your arousal. Doing as you’re told, you lay your face against the mattress, your ass perched into the air and on display for Eddie.
He inhaled sharply through his nostrils at the sight of you. Once he was satisfied with how lubed his cock was, he slowly positioned it at the entrance of your soaked core. Slowly, he would push himself inside of you, inch by inch. Allowing your pussy time to stretch around his thickness. The both of you groaning with pleasure as he buried himself deeper. “S-shit, so fucking tight. Such a good girl taking this thick cock like a goddamn princess.” The grip his hands had on your hips would likely leave bruises in the morning, but it felt so good that you didn’t care.
Once Eddie stuffed the full length of his cock inside your tight walls, he began slowly thrusting his hips against your ass. His cock brushing against that spongy spot inside of you that made your eyes roll back into your head. Eddie’s rhythm working up to a steady pace, the room filled with each of your pleasured moans. “F-fucking hell, princess. Feel so good…” His breath coming in short gasps in between his moans, his cock throbbing inside of you. “Such a little freak for being obsessed with the king of freaks.”
“Yes, I’m your f-freak, Eds…f-fuck!” A guttural moan filled the room as he rotated his hips slightly for you. His hand collided with your ass again with a hard smack as he thrusted harder inside of you. Your mind going numb from the pleasure and pain, it renders you speechless. Eddie’s head falls back as he continues ramming his cock into you, short breathy moans escaping his throat. The two of your bodies throbbing together in a perfect harmony, building up both of your releases.
“Be a good girl and soak my cock, princess.” Eddie demanded, thrusting harder into you. That familiar tightness building in your tummy as his cock pressed against your g-spot repeatedly. Your knuckles were white from the grip you had on the sheets, your moans disappearing into the mattress as he pounded you further into it. Your body tenses, Eddie groaning loudly when your walls clamped around his throbbing cock. Thrusting another hard blow into your wet heat, your body gives into the pleasure and comes undone. Being a good girl and soaking his cock just like he wanted, Eddie slams into you again and again. He groans loudly as his balls tighten, his seed pulsing into you and filling you completely. His thrusts slowing to a stop, his member throbbing against your walls as his cock begins to soften. The both of you panting heavily, exhausted from the exertion of your orgasms.
“Shit…” Eddie ran his hands through his hair, slowly pulling his cock out of you. You slump over onto the bed, your hair half covering your face, but a dumb grin was on your lips.
“Issokay, Eds. That was so hot…” You giggle to yourself, Eddie crawls into the bed with you. He brushes his fingers through your hair, pushing it out of your face.
“You’re incredible. You know that?” One corner of his mouth twisted up into a grin as he peppered soft kisses on your face. “Sorry I never made a move on you. Every time I would go to do it, I’d wuss out.” He chuckled softly, his cheeks turning pink as he gets embarrassed.
Gliding your thumb across his rosy cheek, you smile softly. “I was too chicken to do it too, love. Don’t worry. Sorry for breaking into your trailer.” The room filled with laughter as Eddie wrapped you up in his arms. It was a weird way to start your relationship with him, but the two of you wouldn’t change it for the world.

July 1:secret relationship
(Dustin's perspective)
Steve had been acting suspicious, Dustin wasn't sure how else to describe it, but he was being suspicious. Everyone agreed, everyone else had said a variation of the same thing. Well everyone except for Eddie and El, but honestly El never thought anyone was suspicious, weird, or off putting. El saw people and thought immediately the best of them, it was one of Dustin's biggest struggles, but also the reason he couldn't help but to love her. She was good people.
Eddie, on the other hand, Eddie knew Steve was acting suspicious. He knew Steve was acting so out of character and all Eddie would do is grin and change the subject, Dustin needed to know what was going on, and damn it he was going to find out come hell or high water.
Dustin took in a big gulp of air before pushing the door open to the Harrington home and had opened his mouth to yell out for Steve only to be stopped dead in his tracks by the sight of one very nearly naked Steve Harrington manhandling a completely nude Eddie Munson over his shoulder towards the stairs.
“What the fuck?” Dustin screeched, throwing his arms into the air, “what is happening?”
Eddie with an eyebrow raised put his fist under his chin and smirked at Dustin before snarking back, “Well, you see Dusty-buns, when two viril strapping men like each other, and one decides to be a menace, sometimes they decide to play who's the top tonight. As you can see I lost.”
Dustin gaped at them, then shook his head, “Not what I meant and you know it. I thought Steve was dating Robin?!”
“How many times do I have to tell you, Robin and I are platonic. With a capital P! She's like my sister!” Steve's free hand found his hip as he glared at Dustin.
“Okay, so…” Dustin started, then stopped, “wait so the hot dates you've been hinting at have been with my DM?!”
Eddie giggled, twirling his hair still from Steve's shoulder, “Yep!” he popped the P.
“I, you know what, fine. This isn't the weirdest thing to happen, I'm just gonna go. Yeah, yep, I'm uh, I'm gonna go. I just realized where this whole situation was going and I…nope.” Dustin turned tail and sped walked back out of the house pulling the door shut behind him. He couldn't believe his friends were in a secret relationship, but what he did know was he never wanted to see either of them hairy and naked before his eyes ever, ever again.

The Drawing (Bill Denbrough)
Pairing: Bill Denbrough x Reader
Summary: One day when you were in the library a drawing falls out of a book you were reading- and the drawing eerily looks exactly like you.
Word Count: 1.5k
——————-
You made your way slowly to The Derry Library. The fall weather was now in full effect and you couldn’t help the feeling of the slight chill you felt while you walked. You were looking for more interesting books at the library- currently you were reading ‘The Great Gatsby’ which you knew was a classic- but it was required reading so by that criteria it made it fairly boring. You opened up the door to the brick building and stepped inside. Almost no one was there. It was in fact a weekend so not a lot of people liked to spend their two free days in a dusty old building that probably had a rat infestation. You did see someone you recognized there. The boy you saw was Ben Hanscom. He had his head in a book. You barely knew Ben- the only reason why you even recognized him was because he sat with Bill Denbrough at lunch. Ben had just joined the little friend group that called themselves ‘The Losers Club.’ Bill was in many of your classes. You pretended not to notice him but- man was it hard to. Bill took up most of your thoughts. You memorized the way he laughed- even though it was rare and almost only came out when the Tozier boy whispered an inappropriate joke into his ear during a lesson. Your friends didn’t approve of Bill. They usually called him a ‘freak’ or ‘weirdo.’ You mostly ignored them because in your eyes, Bill was perfect. He was kind, caring, and respectful. Something that half the school wasn’t. Then you snapped back out of your thoughts. You headed towards the fantasy section. You read a lot of fantasy books now ever since you rewatched The Princess Bride a couple weeks ago. You looked through a ton of books but none of them seemed good enough for you. Then you saw one- it looked rather basic. The book had a huge red dragon on the front with a knight giving a cheesy smile next to it. You quickly read the blurb on the back before slightly opening it. A medium sized piece of paper comes gracefully falling from the book. You quickly look around before picking the paper up. You froze. The drawing looked exactly like you. It had your signature y/h/c colored hair. It was like looking into a mirror. The drawing wasn’t signed but it did look weirdly familiar.
“Do you need any help, dear?” An older librarian woman asks you. You practically jump out of your skin when she says this.
“No ma’m i’m fine.” You say gingerly. You try to hide your blush as you find a table to start reading on. You picked the table behind Ben. You thought it would have been too awkward or weird to sit right next to the boy. You could barely focus on your book, you kept finding yourself staring at the drawing of you. You were terrified but also mesmerized at the same time. You decided to leave the library not long after. You held the drawing and your book close to your chest. On your way out of the library you gave Ben a small smile before opening the door back into the chilly air. You walked back home, and when you got to your room you quickly put your new book down and flopped onto your mattress. You stared at the drawing for a while. The detail was so intricate that it got your exact eye color down too.
Finally it was the end of the day, you were now in your pajamas and you were now ~finally~ reading the book you had gotten from the library. You found yourself enjoying the book a lot more. You slowly drifted off to sleep.
The next morning you had to get ready for school. You chose a pair of jeans and a navy blue long sleeved shirt. You quickly brush your hair before rushing out the door. You made sure to grab the new book that you had just gotten and stuff it into your backpack. The bike ride to school was nice. You thankfully didn’t run into anyone from The Bowers Gang and you made it easily to school. The drawing was still in the back of your mind.
“Hey y/n!” You hear your friend, f/n shout to you. You quickly lock up your bike and rush towards them. You smile at them. They start talking about their weekend- which was not truly THAT interesting but you still smile and nod your head. You were more of a listener type. You and your friend walked to class together. But that’s when you saw him. Bill was walking to the same class as you. He was walking with Stanley Uris. Bill then had decided to hold open the door for you and f/n. You tried to hide your blush as you say,
“Thanks Bill”
“No pro-b-le-m y/n.” Bill then gave you a smile which made your heart melt to the core. You and f/n quickly went to your seats. You sat exactly behind Bill. The teacher started teaching the class but it was terribly hard to focus. Bill Denbrough, had given YOU a smile. You couldn’t help but to smile yourself. Bill also didn’t seem to be focusing. He seemed to be writing something in his notebook instead, you narrow your eyes to see if you could read anything of it. You didn’t want to seem stalker-ish so you pretended to be looking at the chalk board. But that’s when you see what Bill was doing- he wasn’t writing he was drawing. Bill wasn’t doing much to hide what he was doing. He seemed to be drawing a girl. Suddenly you feel Bill’s eyes shift. You and him caught eachother’s eyes. Shit. Bill then turns a bright shade of red and hides the notebook away from you.
That was odd.
The class went by quickly. In your head you tried to connect the dots. And that’s when you realize- what if Bill was the one to draw that picture of you? He had to- the style of drawing looked exactly like the picture of you did. Why would Bill draw you?
Throughout the day, you found yourself distracted. The thought of Bill and his drawings lingered as you walked to your next class. You kept replaying the events of the morning in your mind. Bill’s drawing, and the drawing from the library looked all too familiar. It was too much of a coincidence. Right?
Finally it came time for lunch. You spotted Bill with his friends. They were all gathered together. You feel a pang of jealousy as you sit with at your own lunch table. You glanced at Bill. He seemed distracted in thought. You decided to gather your courage and decided to walk towards The Losers’ table. When you reached the table everyone went silent. They all gave you a weird look. Everyone’s eyes were on you.
“Hey uh- Bill can I talk to you- for just a quick second?” You say.
Bill gave you a surprised look before nodding a yes. You and Bill find a quiet place on the stairwell that led to the cafeteria. You tried to ignore the curious stares of all of Bill's friends.
“Wh-at is i-t y/n?” Bill asked.
You take a deep breathe before pulling the drawing from your backpack.
“I- i found this in a book at the library yesterday,” You held out the drawing to Bill. “Did you uh- well draw it? I saw you drawing in class today and it looks alike to this one.” Bill’s eyes widened as he studied the drawing.
“Ye-a-h I did.” Bill admitted- he did look very embarrassed. You felt weird. You felt every emotion possible and something else that you couldn’t quite put your finger on.
“But why did you draw me?” You said the sentence quickly. Bill blushed.
"Be-because I… I like you," Bill replied, looking down. He was clearly embarrassed.
You froze as blood rushed to your cheeks. "You do?" you asked.
"Y-yes. And I, uh, have for a wh-while," Bill stuttered.
"I like you too, Bill," you revealed. You felt as though you were going to pass out, you were so happy.
Bills eyes widened again. He looked down meeting your gaze.
“Re-ally?” Bill questioned. A very small, shy smile formed on his lips.
You smiled, unable to control the large grin on your face.“Yeah, really.”
For a moment both of you stood there like time itself had stopped. Bill took a tiny step forward.
“So- u-h wh-at now?” Bill asked sheepishly.
You let out a small laugh trying to ease the tension,
“Do you want to go to the movies with me this weekend?” You replied.
Bill’s smile grew,
“I w-ould li-ke that.”

Three o’clock in the morning.
Eddie stands, both hands in the pockets of his sweatpants and shuffling from one foot to the other, on the sidewalk outside his building at three o’clock in the morning. Other disheveled, frustrated neighbors stand beside him, still unaware that they'd been pulled from their beds and couches because he’d been too lazy to walk down the three flights of stairs to smoke outside.
It’s three o’clock in the fucking morning and Eddie wants nothing more than to get in his van and drive away, abandoning every item he owns in the process. Especially when the guy across the hall– the same one with floppy brown hair and gold flecks when the streetlight hits him just right– marches straight towards him. Tousled and sleep-rumpled, he’d look as cute as he does every afternoon coming from what Eddie assumes is work if not for the knowing look of disdain and annoyance coloring his expression.
read the rest of you filling my cup, the sun coming up, 1.8k, mature on ao3!

talking could, if we'd just dare (you know that i'll forgive you), pt. 2
@steddie-week day 7: Free Space / "Freedom" by Wham! title from both "You Lookin' At Me, Lookin' at You" by Ozzy Osbourne and "Freedom" by Wham! part 1 (this is a follow up to day 6's "misunderstandings" prompt!)
There was a pressure behind Steve’s eyes that hadn’t been there since Halloween of 1984 and Nancy Wheeler drunkenly calling him and their love bullshit. What was it about him that meant he kept falling for people that thought his love affection and care were meaningless? He’d really thought that Eddie was different—that he could see the bones and marrow of him, and not the cardboard cutout he’d spent the first seventeen years of his life playing. Maybe Robin was the only person who would ever know him that well. (And that could be enough, couldn’t it? To be known so completely, even if only by one person.)
Steve rubbed at his eyes, trying to push away the tears that were threatening to start back up. He didn’t know who he was hiding from, but if he started crying again he thought he may never stop.
His “I’m heartbroken but pretending it’s okay—listen to how upbeat this song is!” mixtape that Dustin had made for him a couple years ago was playing on a loop in the background—he was taking advantage of the empty house to blare it across the stereo system.
Listening to George Michael sing I can't escape until you love me wasn’t doing anything to improve his mood, but that wasn’t really the point. It was nice to lie there and feel sorry for himself, just for a bit. He’d have to pick himself up and patch up the scrapes and bruises tomorrow. He’d have to paint on a smile for the customers at Family Video (the fact that he and Robin had managed to keep their jobs was already enough of a miracle without scaring people away with his bloodshot eyes), and put on an act of detached nonchalance for kids. If they got wind that anything was amiss, they’d all go digging, and as angry as he was with Eddie right now (and underneath all the self-loathing and heartbreak, he was pissed), he didn’t deserve to be outed like that—or at all.
The ring of the doorbell pierced through You take my hand and tell me I'm a fool, and Steve contemplated just lying there and letting whoever it was stand there awkwardly, knowing they were being deliberately ignored.
It’s not like it was anyone important—it couldn’t be one of the kids, because any of them would have opened with a flurry of repeated bell-ringings. It couldn’t be Robin, both because she had a key, and because she wouldn’t make him have to stand up and greet her at the door right now. He supposed it could be Nancy, or Jonathan, for some reason—except if there was an emergency they would at least try to call first, and Steve couldn’t think of any good reason that they’d show up on his doorstep unannounced that he was inclined to deal with right now. The only people he thought it could possibly be who he wasn’t better off leaving high and dry were Joyce or Mrs. Henderson—and that was actually enough to get Steve standing, because if Claudia was standing on his doorstep with food and an open smile and he ignored her when he was obviously home, it’d break her heart.
There was already enough of that going around.
Still, he made a detour to the bathroom to splash some cold water on his face, and at least attempt to mitigate some of the “I’ve been mired in self-pity for the past 48 hours” that was clearly visible in his face, his hair, and his clothes.
The doorbell rang for a second time, punctuating the lilt of Part time love just brings me down, and Steve huffed a frustrated sigh. “I’m coming, I’m coming.” He was going to the door just in case it was Claudia, not because he really thought it was her, and he was predisposed to being annoyed at every possible alternative to Claudia Henderson (or Joyce Byers) who could possibly be on the other side of the door.
None more so than the person it actually ended up being when he dragged open the double doors devoid of any of his typical flair. “What are you doing here, Munson?” he asked flatly.
Eddie stood framed in the entryway, curls pulled back into a neat bun, earnest expression on his face, and wearing what looked to be a threadbare black button-down under his usual leather jacket. He had one arm folded behind his back, the other half extended toward the doorbell—which he promptly dropped down to his side when he registered Steve standing before him. He looked unfairly good, and Steve wanted to die about it. (Or commit a murder—he wasn’t feeling overly picky right at that moment.)
“Did you not hear me?” Steve bit out. “What are you doing here?”
Eddie’s face fell, and his cheeks flushed a bright red. “I—”
Steve cut him off with a twisted sneer. “Did you come to really rub it in? It wasn’t enough to shoot me down the first time, you wanted to come and twist the knife again—just real up close and personal this time? Did you wanna revel in how far the 'king' has fallen?” In the background, you’re hurting me baby, hurting me baby ricocheted down the halls and rang in Steve’s ears.
“No, I came here to apologize, Steve, I—” Eddie cut himself off with a tilt of his head, and wrinkled his nose as the next line rang out clear, But you know that I’ll forgive you! “—are you listening to Wham!?”
Steve stared at him, incredulous. “Are you making fun of my music taste right now? Is that really what’s happening?”
Eddie shook his head frantically. “No, that’s not what I—! Fuck, I’m doing this all wrong.”
Steve scoffed. “What else is new?” he asked, the bitchy curl to his lip forming unbidden.
Eddie flinched, and Steve almost felt bad about it, but it was buried too deep under layers of hurt and bitterness. “I’m sorry,” Eddie said, looking contrite. “That was…a dumb thing to say. Which I am apparently full of this week.”
“‘Apparently’?”
Eddie swallowed. “I am completely, one hundred percent, full of bullshit.” Steve couldn't quite hold back a flinch at the word choice, but he didn't think Eddie caught it. “And—” Eddie unfolded the arm he’d been holding behind his back to produce a bouquet of flowers with a small flourish. “—I’m really sorry.”
Steve stared down at the flowers for several long moments, blinking slowly as he tried to parse out what he was seeing in front of him. Because it clearly wasn’t some premade drug store arrangement. The arrangement was a bright mix of purple, green, and white—a few large hyacinths dominated the bundle, mixed together with green carnations; sprigs of ragweed and fairy lilies filled in the empty spaces. A lot more thought and effort had gone into this than Steve’s own hasty purchase of a dozen red roses for Nancy two years ago. And while there was a florist in Hawkins, the chances that Eddie could walk in there without immediately causing a scene were pretty slim—especially if he’d been even a little too honest about the reason for the arrangement. Steve’s eyes drifted back up to meet Eddie’s. “Where did you get those?”
“There’s a, uh…there’s a gay florist? Up in Indy. That's how I was able to get a bouquet with green carnations so last minute.”
Steve nodded along as though that made perfect sense, even though he had no idea why green carnations would be of any particular significance to gay people. His gaze dropped back down to the bouquet, and he plucked it from Eddie’s hands, turning on his heel to make for the kitchen without saying a word. If Eddie was really so eager to apologize, Steve figured he could keep him on his toes. A moment later, Steve could just make out the sound of Eddie’s tentative footfalls, followed by the sound of the front door snicking shut.
Steve bent down to open one of the cupboards next to the underside of the sink, digging around until he found an old glass vase his mom never used anymore. He deposited it on the counter, before turning to pull open the miscellaneous tools drawer (his mom always hated it when someone tried to call it the ‘junk drawer’) to grab a pair of scissors.
“So. You’re sorry.” Steve kept himself faced away from Eddie as he filled the vase with water, unwrapped the bouquet, and trimmed the stems. There was a hurricane brewing in him, and having something to do with his hands kept him still at the center of it. If he had to look at Eddie’s face right now it’d all come flying apart. “What are you sorry for, exactly.”
“I’m sorry for lying to you.”
Steve carefully set down the scissors, and pressed his hands flat to the countertop. He didn’t let his head fall. He didn’t let the small, sad gasp that was stuck in his throat escape. He could keep the mask on. He could keep all of his insides from spilling out around him. “What do you mean?” Apparently he couldn’t keep the rasp out of his voice.
“I’m sorry I lied to you,” Eddie repeated. His voice was closer now.
“What are you talking about?”
“When I said I wasn’t interested in you. That was a lie, and I shouldn’t have said it.”
“And–and the other part?” Because what did it matter if he had some hollow, surface-level interest in him if it meant—
“What other part?”
“Munson—” Steve was gritting his teeth. This was a mistake. He shouldn’t have let him in, he shouldn’t have—
“Oh, I—the ‘it didn’t mean anything’ part?” Eddie let out a blustery sigh, and Steve fought against the impulse to spin around and see what kind of gesture or expression might have accompanied that. “That’s…complicated. I–I think it did always mean something, but I wasn’t exactly lying when I said it was it was all ‘in good fun.’ That’s what it was supposed to be, at first, but then…I didn’t expect to like you.”
Steve laughed. “Thanks, Munson.”
“Please, Stevie—”
“Don’t call me that!” He snapped. And that was too much, he was giving to much away—
“Okay, I won’t.” Steve could almost hear the way he raised his hands and backed away. “But…please. Stop calling me that, too, okay? I thought we’d moved past that.”
“Yeah, well, I thought we had too,” Steve spit back through gritted teeth.
Eddie, Eddie, Eddie. He wanted to say it. But if he did, he’d melt away. He’d succumb to the hook and line tugging at his gut that told him to try, to trust, to open up. But there was only one person who was allowed the keys to the castle anymore. He should have learned long ago to stop making copies.
“I know, Steve, and…I really am sorry. I–I didn’t mean to—”
“Then why did you?” His patience—such that it was—was rapidly dwindling.
“I— What?”
“If you didn’t mean what you said, if you didn’t mean to hurt me, if you didn’t mean to like me—then why? Why did you flirt with me? Why did you try to get to know me? Why did you bother?” Steve wanted to throw something. He didn't want to break something, exactly, but he also didn't want th echoing chasm of silence opening up between them.
Steve’s shoulders were shaking with the effort of holding himself upright, and Eddie still wasn't saying anything.
“Would you look at me?”
“I don’t know if I can, Eddie.” He coughed up the name like he was choking on it.
“I don’t think I can keep having this conversation to the back of your head.”
Steve closed his eyes; pinched the bridge of his nose to help fight back a fresh wave of tears. “Fine,” he bit out. “Have a seat.” He gestured loosely behind him before heading to the fridge, still keeping his back to Eddie as the sound of a stool scraping across tile echoed in the space. “Want a beer?” he asked. He could have this conversation sober, or with eye contact—but it could only be one or the other.
“Sure,” Eddie whispered back.
Steve nodded into the cold air of the fridge, and came back up with two bottles, which he promptly uncapped against the bottle opener affixed to the wall. He sat one down in front of Eddie, before seating himself in a stool on the opposite side of the island. It was all about keeping distance. If Eddie was going to come picking at his walls, he would just have to keep throwing up physical barriers to slow him down.
Steve took a pull from his beer. “So?”
Eddie took a breath, like he was steeling himself for battle. “I thought I was going to die.” Eddie laughed, and while it certainly wasn't hollow, it was entirely empty of humor. There was irony, maybe. Or hysteria. “At best I thought I'd end up in prison for the rest of my life.”
Steve frowned. “What does that have to do with—?”
“It has to do with everything, Steve!” It burst out of him like a dam cracking—and after the first crack, so came the flood. “No matter what was gonna happen on the other side of all that shit, I thought—one way or another—that my life was already over, man!
“So, yeah, I flirted with the pretty jock who made my heart beat a little too fast and my pants a little too tight—who looked fucking divine with blood dripping out of his mouth—and I didn’t think too much beyond the cute little smiles and flustered looks you sent back, because it wasn’t going to go anywhere. Because it didn’t mean anything.
“Not because you don’t mean anything—not because you’re worthless or unlovable or whatever other crap is circling the drain in your head—but because I thought you were straight! I thought I’d have a harmless bit of fun in the dying light of the end of the world. I thought I’d get a laugh and a smile out of it—I thought I could carry that sweetness with me into the afterlife, or–or have a warm memory to hang onto after I got locked away. Because there was only ever one of two ways that was gonna end, right?”
There were tears tracking down Eddie’s face, but he wasn’t sobbing—there was only a slight hitch in his breath to give him away—and he barely seemed to notice them; he just kept going. “And then we made it. We made it out, and then I had to figure out how to fucking live—how to piece back together all the shattered remains of what Vecna took from me. And you were in the hospital, and you were barely conscious most of the time, and when you were you could barely even look at me. And I thought…”
“You thought I’d figured you out,” Steve whispered, clarity taking shape.
“Yeah, man. I thought you’d figured me out.” Eddie scrubbed a hand over his face. “Not right away, though. At first I thought…I don’t know what I thought. Maybe that you’d realized you’d been flirting back, and that’s what made you uncomfortable?” Eddie reached as though to grab at a strand of his hair, only for his hand to drop back to the countertop when he remembered it was pulled into a bun. He took a swig of his beer, instead. “But you just kept getting weirder and weirder, and then it just…it hit me. That maybe you’d realized that I was gay, and hitting on you, and that maybe you thought that…I don’t know. I just wanted you to know that I wasn’t a threat. And—at that point, I don’t think I’d even fully realized that I do like you like that—I just knew that we were starting to become friends, and whatever else was true I didn’t want to lose that. And if keeping your friendship meant denying whatever else I was feeling, that’s what I was going to do.”
Steve blinked at him slowly. “You’re an idiot.”
Eddie laughed, eyes crinkling up in the corners to indicate there was some actual humor behind it this time. “So I’ve been very reliably informed. You know that every single woman in your life is fucking terrifying, Harrington?”
Steve shook his head and couldn’t help the wry smile that broke across his face. “Believe me, I do.” Steve smirked at Eddie, allowing himself the flirtatious edge of glancing up at him from beneath his eyelashes. “So, what, Robin read you the riot act? Did she actually bring the nail bat?”
Eddie sputtered, and a spray of beer landed on Steve’s face. “I’m sorry, the nail what? And you knew she was gonna come after?”
Steve laughed, open and loud, as he wiped the spittle from his face. “Oh, yeah, I guess you’ve never seen it before.”
“Seen what, Harrington!” Eddie shrieked. “Why in the world do you have something that can be called a ‘nail bat’?”
“There are monsters in Hawkins, dude,” Steve said simply. “Were,” he corrected with a shake of his head. “There were monsters in Hawkins.”
“Yeah. I’ve only seen them once and I still don’t believe they’re really gone.”
Steve nodded.
Eddie exhaled, and then steepled his hands under his chin like he was considering evidence. “Okay, so: you have a freaky bat filled with nails, and your freaky life partner stormed into my trailer so that she could threaten my freaky ass with it. Great, awesome. What the fuck is my life?” Eddie dug his fingers into his hair, heedless of the way it yanked some strands out of the bun entirely, and left others in disarray.
Steve shook his head. “I’ve been asking myself that for the past four years, man. If you come up with an answer, let me know.”
“And—And!” Eddie jumped up onto the stool so that he was perched atop it, balancing on the balls of his feet. He started gesticulating wildly into Steve’s face. “On top of all of that I’m supposed to believe that strait-laced Steve Harrington was acting all weird and evasive because he was working up the courage to ask me out?”
“You know, for someone who talks a good game about nonconformity, you’ve sure got a lot of preconceived notions about what other people are supposed to be like.”
Eddie dropped back down onto the stool like the wind had been taken out of his sails. “I know,” he said, expression serious. “I just…sometimes you’ve gotta jump to quick conclusions to keep yourself safe.”
Steve nodded, staring down at his hands as he picked at the label of the sweating beer bottle. “Yeah…that makes sense. And it’s not like I always would have been a safe guy to flirt with—jokingly or not.”
Eddie shrugged. “Maybe not. But that was a while ago. I think this version of you deserved for me to give you the benefit of the doubt. I could have at least fucking asked why you were being so cagey around me, instead of jumping to conclusions.”
“You can now,” Steve offered.
Eddie smiled. “Okay…I’ll bite: Steve, why’d you keep acting like a skittish little rabbit around me?”
“I did not—”
“You totally did! Always vibrating, looking like you were seconds from hopping off.” Eddie bit his lip, glancing down with a shy smile—and then Eddie got to pull off the flirtatious glancing-through-the-eyelashes thing. God, what a classic. Steve felt himself flush in response. “It was kind of cute, honestly.”
“Oh, yeah?”
“Yeah.”
“Well, if you must know…” Steve trailed off, the light tone slipping away. “You’re the first guy I’ve ever wanted to ask out.”
“Oh.”
“Yeah. Oh.” Steve ran a hand through his hair, staring off to the side. “I was scared too, you know? I was pretty sure you liked me—I mean, at least I didn’t think you disliked me—but even with all the flirting, I couldn’t be sure, you know? It’s all so…different. From what I’m used to. Even beyond that, I haven’t—” Steve cut himself off, not sure he could give away this last piece of the puzzle.
“You haven’t…?”
“I haven’t felt this strongly about someone since Nancy. And I can’t—I don’t think I could stand something else blowing up in my face the same way that did.”
Eddie was quiet for several beats. “How’d things with Wheeler blow up?”
Steve turned back to meet Eddie’s gaze. “I think that’s a conversation for another day. This one’s already got me beat.”
Eddie nodded, and let silence fall between them for a bit. For the first time since Eddie’d come in, he didn’t feel like he could taste ash on the air. “Hey Steve?”
“Yeah, Eddie?”
“You wanna try now?”
“Try what?”
“Asking out a guy for the first time.”
“Oh…” Steve studied Eddie’s face carefully for a few long, silent moments, before determining there was nothing to find there beyond a simple and honest certainty. “I think I’m still a little mad at you.”
“Do you think you’ll forgive me?”
Steve smiled sadly with a tilt of his head. “You know I will.”
“Man, I’m not holding you to the contents of fucking Wham! lyrics just because they were the soundtrack for your gay wallowing.”
“Oh, but if it was a different song playing in the background you would?” Steve asked.
Eddie scoffed and rolled his eyes, “Yeah, ‘course I would.”
“I thought we’d established that now was a bad time to be critiquing my music taste.”
“I don’t fucking care if you listen to, Wham!, Steve—I just don’t wanna listen to them.”
Steve smiled and leaned forward. “I’ll let you in on a little secret.”
“What’s that?”
“I’m kinda ambivalent about them, but Dustin made that mixtape for me when I was getting over Nancy.”
“Huh. There’s…a lot going on there. And I think I’ve probably stuck my foot in it enough times today to avoid trying to wade in.”
“You’re a smart man, Eddie Munson.”
“Tell that to Ms. O’Donnell.” Eddie grabbed one of the strands he’d pulled out from his bun earlier and pulled it in front of his face. “So, are ya gonna do it?”
Steve smirked, leaning further into Eddie’s space. “Am I gonna do what, Eddie?”
“You know what, Harrington.”
“I thought I told you to call me Steve.”
As Eddie opened his mouth to reply, Steve closed the space between them and drew him into a kiss.
When Steve pulled back a moment later, he was rewarded with the sight of Eddie’s eyes fluttering back open as he breathed out Steve’s name on a sigh.
He reached up to tuck the strand of hair that had fallen from Eddie’s slackened grip behind his ear. “So, Eddie Munson—would you like to go out with me?”
“I’d love nothing more.”
Eddie’s apology bouquet:
Hyacinth (purple): “please forgive me”
Green Carnations: symbol of love between two men, popularized by Oscar Wilde wearing a green carnation as an accessory
Fairy lilies (Rainflower): “I love you back” / “I must atone for my sins”
Ragweed (Ambrosia): love is reciprocated
Meanings pulled from Wikipedia’s “List of plants with symbolism” (although I did already know the green carnations one before writing this). I did not do a whole lot of research into properly constructing bouquets so as to convey messages/meaning, so if you’re an expert floriographist, please don’t look at me (or: feel free to point out everything I got wrong, because I do actually find the language of flowers really interesting).
Also, we are hand-waving away the fact that it probably would have taken Eddie more than a day to get a custom bouquet, okay? We are also ignoring the fact that most people are allergic to ragweed—if it tickles you I'm declaring that Steve is not but Eddie is and made himself sneeze the whole way over to Steve's house.
Why did Steve know the names of all of the flowers? Because I said so, that’s why. (That, or, if you please: in the world of this fic Steve’s mom is a hobbyist gardener and he used to help her out in the yard during the summer.)

When Eddie finds Steve lying on the living room floor, he’s not concerned at first. It’s what he does sometimes, and Eddie himself can appreciate a bit of floor time on occasion, too, but for Steve it’s sacred. So he smiles and sits down beside him, grabbing his hand to play with his fingers, a “Hey, pretty boy” already on his lips before he freezes.
Because Steve isn’t all relaxed like he usually is, with his mind just a few inches off to the side where everything is calm and fine and better. And when he finally meets Eddie’s eyes, they’re not glazed over but sharp. Sharp with something that cuts right through Eddie, because he’s seen this look before, and he knows just what to do.
“Stevie, baby, I’m right here. I’m gonna make a call, okay, I will be right back.” When Steve opens his mouth, Eddie just leans down to press a kiss to his forehead. He’s not sure how much invasion of space is allowed, but Steve is still holding his hand so that has to count for something, right? “Shh, don’t speak,” he whispers. “It’s okay, I’ve got you.”
He tries not to kiss Steve like he’s about to break, or talk to him like something’s wrong, because nothing is wrong. Steve is not wrong for getting like this sometimes, it’s not his fault; it’s not something Eddie can’t handle. Steve doesn’t deserve to feel like he’s somehow wrong for getting into that headspace where words just won’t come out of his mouth and he needs to lie down and hope that will help.
Which, today it didn’t, apparently.
Eddie gets up with one last kiss to Steve’s hand and a reassuring smile, and goes to make a phone call. There’s only one person who can help Steve get out of his head, and Eddie doesn’t really understand it, nobody does, but they all know it.
“Hey, Joyce,” he sighs in relief when she answers the phone. “Is El home?”
“Eddie! Yes, she’s there, what… Steve?”
“Steve.”
Joyce sighs and Eddie knows she’s worried and wants to tell her not to be, it’s not fair to be worried, Steve hates when they worry, but. He’d be a hypocrite.
“You know you don’t have to ask, honey. Get over here, I’ll make some cocoa.”
With a smile, Eddie hangs up and goes back to Steve, crouching down beside him to stroke the hair out of his face. “Hey there again, pretty boy. I’m gonna drive over to Joyce’s, wanna tag along?”
What he really wants to say is, I’ll take care of you. Everything is gonna be just fine. But Steve doesn’t like the fuss. That kind of discussion is for another day, though. When Steve can actually get a word in.
That is how they find themselves in the Hopper-Byers household, Eddie holding Steve’s hand as the boy tries to make himself smaller than he is — like every time. Joyce doesn’t fuss, and Eddie knows just how much that takes, knows that Joyce is so much stronger than him in moments like this.
“Steve,” comes a small voice from the door to Eleven’s room, and Eddie finds the girl approaching them slowly. Beside him, Steve sways and Eddie tightens his grip for a second, brushing a kiss to Steve’s cheek before letting him go.
Eleven wraps her arms around Steve’s middle and the two of them just hold each other. They have a bond that none of them truly understand, one that Eddie knows even Robin is jealous of. But it makes sense, he figures. On some kind of deeply existential level, it does make sense for Eleven to be the one who can help Steve when he’s nonverbal like this.
Maybe because she doesn’t talk much. Maybe because around her he doesn’t feel like he has to be anyone or anything because it’s all the same to her. Or maybe there’s a special kind of magic in the way she will pull him onto the floor, their backs against the couch, his head on her shoulder and her fingers running through Steve’s hair.
They’ve been through something together. Maybe they go through something together every time they talk each other down without words — because in return, Steve does the same for her. It shouldn’t work, but it does.
It’s calm and quiet in the living room and Eddie shares a glance with Joyce before they step outside to give Steve and El some privacy.
“I hate seeing him like this,” Eddie admits finally. It’s hardly more than a whisper, a treacherous little truth that cuts into his heart every time this happens.
“I know,” Joyce says. “Me too.”
“I hate that I can’t help him.”
Oh the truths just keep coming. It’s that kind of moment.
“You’re helping him, honey. You are. But sometimes we need different people for different hurts. And that boy has more than all of us combined. Or… Well, not all of us.” And she’s looking through the window, watching El and Steve still wrapped around each other.
And it’s true. Eddie knows. Maybe that’s why he hates it so much. Steve’s nonverbal episodes are a stark reminder for all the pain he had to take upon himself. Alone. For years.
“Just love him through it,” Joyce continues. “Not despite it, not because it it. Just through it.”
“I am. I do. Don’t think I could stop even if he asked me to.”
She smiles and squeezes his hand. “Good. Now, join me on a run to the bakery? I think they’ll need something sweet when they’re back with us.”
With one last glance through the window, seeing Steve calm and quiet, Eddie bows and offers his arm to Joyce. “I’d be delighted to join you, lady Byers.”
It’ll be fine, he tells himself. They’ll be fine.

WIP Weekend Challenge
Appreciate the tag, @pearlypairings! <3 I actually have stuff to share, haha.
in a reblog (or new post w/ rules attached), post up to five (5) filenames of your WIPs; not titles, file names.
post a snippet from one of them. snippet must be words you wrote in the last 7 days. we’re posting progress here. if you haven’t made any, go make some and come back to post!
after you’ve posted, people can send you an ask with one of your file names. you must then write 3 sentences in that file. if the filename is one you can’t share from (for example, an event fic), write 3 sentences on it anyway, and then 3 more on another to share.
that’s it! you can invite others to join in, or just post. if you tag me in your post, i will send you an ask request!
Current WIPs:
Leave 'Em Burning (Chrissy x Eddie, Eddie POV only, multichapter)
When the Witnesses Are Gone (Zuko x Katara, alternating POVs, multichapter)
I will share a snippit from LEB, since I just had the doc opened:
“I got your stuffed toy. It’s sitting at the foot of my bed, staring at me with its beady, little dog eyes.”
He heard a stray note of laughter and smiled to himself.
“That dog’s been with me since before we moved to Hawkins. I think I called him Binky when I was small,” she told him in a voice that was partially shy, to which he could imagine her digging a toe into her carpet or twirling a piece of loose hair.
“Binky? My Uncle Wayne thinks you may have crocheted his overalls together. If so, I wish you had come to me for drugs sooner because I really could have used a tip or two to impress Mrs. Fordham in Home Economics. I barely passed.”
A playful snort. “So I take it someone else is patching your jeans cut and jackets with band logos?”
Eddie’s eyes fell to his splinted fingers, and he turned his palm up to examine the dried blood under his fingernails, a smirk twitching across his face. “Ah, how observant of you. Yeah, that’s all me. I may have an Exodus patch laying around, an original, you know. I’m sure little Binky would love a black pentagram ironed onto his overalls.”
He pictured her scrunching her nose. “Does it have to be black?”
Now it was his turn to laugh. “Cunningham, you gave him to me. What did you think was going to happen? He’s due for a miscreant Munson makeover.”
“I’m sure he’s in good hands, whatever style you decide to give him. If not, I trust your uncle to make sure he’ll be alright. Your uncle is super sweet.”
His amusement faltered, and he struggled somewhat to shift the position of his sore, bruised legs. “What happened, Chrissy? You didn’t come to school for two days.”
A shaky sigh came from the other line.

Watching You Fall in Love (is My Greatest Achievement)
Steddie Fic | Wayne POV | Little_Annie | Ao3
---
"You love him don't you?" Wayne whispers, breathy, quiet, his voice cracking around the edges of something that feels like raw emotion.
"More than okay Son."
—
Months go by and Wayne gets to watch as Steve falls too. It's there and so obvious to anyone but Eddie.
His eyes linger and his smile never fades. Soon Wayne sees as he sits a little closer and his cheeks grow a little darker.
—
It's nearly a year into their friendship when Steve's standing at Wayne's side and whispers, "I think I love him."
"Tell him," Wayne answers easily, leaving out the 'please' he so desperately wants to tack onto the end of that sentence.
Please, he thinks again as he watches Eddie turn to face them from across the yard, a smile so beautiful Wayne thinks it's the first time he's seen it on Eddie's face. The boy's elbow deep in his van as his cheeks grow a little pinker as he says with a smile, "Stevie come here for a sec."
Steve leaves, but not before whispering back to Wayne, "I think I will."
—
No more than a week later Wayne comes home to find the boys on the couch, Steve sleeping and curled into Eddie's side, snoring with his nose pressed to Eddie's neck.
Wayne offers his boy a smile as he stirs from the sound of the door closing. He looks tired, arms tightening around Steve's waist as he smiles back and burrows closer, kissing the top of Steve's head before drifting back off.
—
"He loves me," Eddie says one evening, weeks down the road, a rare occasion when Steve isn't over and Eddie's actually home.
Wayne smiles, his heart so warm and full as he says, "I know."
—
Steve's been over for a few weeks now. Part of Wayne's convinced he's moved in, what with the new additions to their fridge and bathroom vanity. The idea doesn't upset him in the least.
He's gotten to witness their love grow during that time anyway.
He's gotten to witness the way Steve kisses a grumpy Eddie good morning until he finally smiles.
Or the way Eddie lights up when Steve's arms wrap around his waist and he whispers an "I love you Eds," that Wayne isn't sure if he's supposed to hear.
There's only parts of the conversation that he catches, but his heart swells when he hears Eddie's voice so clearly say, "I'm gonna marry you someday Steve Harrington."
—

Twenty-seven seconds.
Buck had counted each terrifying one of them. Those moments, between one to the next, they'd felt like entire lifetimes.
Twenty-seven seconds.
The length of time they’d held each other's steadfast gaze through the glass that separated them; he and Eddie in different rooms yet locked together in a shared, living hell.
Twenty-seven seconds.
It was how long it had taken the CDC doctors to inspect Eddie's hazmat for rips or holes as they'd checked in minute detail for any place the toxic substance could have breached the suit and reached Eddie's skin.
Twenty-seven seconds.
That's what it had taken, in the end. Barely a half-minute—not the full four, as that psychologist from New York would have the world believe.
Buck had read about it in a Big Think article one time:
‘Holding four minutes of sustained eye contact with another person is a sure-fire way to fall in love.’
There had been some other stuff in there about asking a series of tailored personal questions before beginning the looking part of the experiment, but he and Eddie already had six years worth of personal.
No two people on earth knew each other the way Eddie knew Buck and Buck knew Eddie—and although some folks would say that couldn't possibly be true, Buck didn't give a damn about a single one of them.
Twenty-seven seconds.
And Buck knew that Eddie was just as in love with him as Buck had been with Eddie for those six years they'd spent by each other's side. Or, at least, Eddie was in love with Buck now; Buck was sure of it, after the terror he'd seen in Eddie's eyes that was reflected in his own, when they’d each thought they might be about to lose the other half of themselves.
Twenty-seven seconds.
It was more than long enough, after everything they'd been through together.
Twenty-seven seconds.
Then the doctors had given Eddie the all-clear and the pair of them had burst into relieved, happy-tears.
Buck had already speed-dialled Carla (they'd taken Eddie's mobile from him) because he knew Eddie needed to hear Christopher's voice—they both did—and Buck handed the phone to Eddie as soon as the doctors let Eddie tear his way out of that awful room that Buck never wanted to see ever again for as long as he fucking lived, and they'd held back the tears as best they could, for their boy's sake, while they chatted on speakerphone just like it was any other day, about Eddie's shitty cooking and which Lego structures they were going to build when they got back home.
Because that's where they both knew Buck belonged: With Eddie and Chris. The three of them, at Casa Diaz.
Together.
Twenty-seven seconds.
That's how it began.
Twenty-seven seconds.
With those three words.
“Twenty-seven seconds... Eds, that's how long it took me to realise how stupid I've—”
It took Eddie's hands no time at all to find Buck's face and pull it down into his own, Eddie pressing his lips to Buck's and kissing twenty-seven seconds and six years of pure, unadulterated love into them.
Twenty-seven seconds.
Until they were uttering those other three words to each other, over and over again.
They cried more, and laughed about it.
Then they kissed more.
And if Buck had to hazard a guess at how long it took before Hen and Chim and Bobby were able to pull them apart, trying their best to admonish them through their fits of giggles?
Twenty-seven seconds.
Or thereabouts.

“I’ll Never Let You Go”
NSFW 18+, DO NOT READ IF YOU’RE A MINOR.
TW: smut content, strong language (cunt is used), use of drugs/alcohol, and sensitive topic of self harm and physical abuse, oral (f+m), sex, etc.
** For the reader: The title is based off of a song that came out in 1990 called (you guessed it) “I’ll Never Let You Go” by Steelheart. This is also heavily inspired by an amazing fic written by the talented @unsolved-duvall , go read hers here.
** ALSO, this is fem reader x rockstar Eddie, and the POV switches back and forth between the two. I’ll leave Eddie’s white and the font will be pink for the readers. 🖤 hope you guys enjoy!

.
.
It was 1990, it had been a fucking wild 4 years since Eddie barely graduated high school. Corroded Coffin blew up on the scene, hot and fast, sometimes it still felt like a complete whirlwind. After two sold out tours, a couple records, and some awards later, Eddie felt tired. The crazy lifestyle that he always dreamt about had seemingly become mundane. It was always the same cycle, tour for months at a time, a sold out show every night, the after parties every night, fucking some random groupie — or sometimes a couple if he had the energy. He never realized it would start to feel dull at some point.
Eddie was staring off into his dressing room mirror — it wasn’t that he was full of himself, though his cocky attitude would make you feel differently about him, he was just zoning out while lost in thought. Bringing his lit cigarette up to his lips, he takes a long drag of it. The smoke hugging his lungs while that familiar burning sensation hit the back of his throat, providing that fix of nicotine with a little bit of pain that he desperately needed. A stage manager popped his head in the room, his nasally voice pulling him out of his thoughts but not enough to give the man his full attention.
“5 minutes, Eddie. Then we need you backstage.” Without turning his head towards him, Eddie nonchalantly waves the short man off. The jewelry that dangled off of his wrists jingles slightly at the quick flick of his hand. He takes another long drag of his smoke before smashing the butt into an overfilled ashtray. With a long sigh, he slowly exhales the smoke and watches it swirl around him.
Eddie leans forward over a mirror that sat on the vanity’s counter, staring into his blown out chocolate brown eyes. Almost disappointed with himself as he snorted the white powder that he had already lined up through a little straw. The entire line disappeared as he moved across the reflective surface. Immediately he felt the drugs entering his system, tilting his head back, with a finger pushed up to his nose as the drainage went down his nasal cavity and numbed his throat.
Leaning back in his chair with a cough to clear his throat, he looked under the vanity counter. He gently taps on the back of some blonde girls head. “C’mon, doll. Time’s up.” He sounded uninterested, almost bored. The blonde slowly crawled out from under the counter, Eddie at least held his hand out for her to hold onto while she climbed up to her feet. His other hand already stuffing his half-hard dick back into his tattered jeans.
The girl was just some groupie he happened to pick that was hanging around out back, hoping to get a chance with him. She was pretty enough and was easily throwing herself at him. But he was just bored of the same thing — a desperate girl that hoped she could make him fall in love, or at the very least fuck him and sell the story to the tabloids. He was barely able to stay hard while she desperately tried to suck him off for the last twenty minutes.
She looked defeated and embarrassed, Eddie almost felt pity for her, almost. He pursed his lips together tightly as she stuck around longer than she should have, a look of hesitation and the need to say something on her face. He had an expectant look on his face that said she needed to go. And as if on cue, the head of Eddie’s security, Tommy, came into the room to escort her back to the venue.
He didn’t even look at her as she left, it was just easier that way. Hard to feel bad for the girls he used if he just didn’t pay attention to them and saw them for what they were — a one time, casual fuck. Eddie picked up a whiskey glass that was halfway full of Jack Daniel’s, swirling it around — the alcohol sloshing around the glass’s rim before he shot it down his throat. The alcohol burning the back of his esophagus, making Eddie click his tongue off of the roof of his mouth and exhale hard, his breath hot as hell from the liquor. It felt almost ritualistic at this point.
He rolled his neck, his stiff bones cracking before he rotated his shoulders trying to soothe his sore muscles. After four years of performing nearly every night, you’d think Eddie wouldn’t be nervous but as he pushed himself out of the chair and jumped up and down to get his blood pumping. He was shaking out his arms trying to steel his nerves.
The stage manager comes back, knocking a little more hurriedly before poking his head back in. “Eddie! Now, c’mon!”
“I’m comin’, I’m comin’.” He mumbles under his breath, he follows after the short man as he talks into the headset that rested over his ear.
“I got him, heading backstage now.” The man sounded overly confident, smug. A little man with a little power. Eddie rolled his eyes in annoyance, always being one to defy anyone with an ounce of authority. Balling his fists up into his leather jacket pockets as he continued to follow him backstage where his other bandmates were getting geared up.
Gareth was twirling his drumsticks in between his fingers, hyping himself up. Jeff was standing with a sound tech making sure his bass was in tune as he slings the strap over his shoulder. Another sound tech approaches Eddie with his pride and joy, his Sweetheart. As always, it’s one of the rare times that Eddie’s seemingly permanent scowl softens into a warm smile. Like seeing a loved one after a long absence.
When Eddie puts the familiar, worn-out guitar strap around his neck, it’s like something in him transforms. No longer was he Eddie the Freak of his former past with a giant ball of anger in the pit of his stomach. No, when he put his baby around his neck, he becomes Eddie fucking Munson — rock god. And his ego was as big as his asshole attitude that came with it.
The excited chatter of the crowd filled the arena, Eddie could feel adrenaline pumping through his veins. The overhead lights dimmed in the venue, there was a split second of silence followed by an uproar of screams and applause. Eddie’s heart thundered in his ears in anticipation as he watched his bandmates start onstage, waving to the crowd as they increasingly lost their minds.
Eddie looked up into the rafters as he let out a slow exhale. Finding the nerve to walk out onto the stage, he had a look of steel determination on his face. Once he emerges from backstage, the crowd absolutely loses their shit, the girls going absolutely feral. Without hesitation, Eddie struts to the microphone before letting the first notes of their opening song shred up and down his fretboard. His fingers moving up and down with such ease as he gets lost in the music.
Song after song, the crowd was going wild and was just full of energy. As big of an asshole as Eddie was famed to be, his heart had such a soft spot for those moments on stage that he saw the fans respond so well to his music. In between songs, he could be caught looking down and smiling at his feet. The next song they played was the most sexual song they had to date, the girls always lost their minds — and usually their panties when they’d toss ‘em on stage.
As the panties start flying, Eddie scanned the crowd, smirking at all the girls pushing their way to the front just to get a chance to be seen and gift him their delicates. That’s when his eyes fell on you. There was something about you that captured his attention, even causing him to tilt his head with curiosity. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it. It almost, almost made him stutter in his performance. However, he was able to save it with no one else noticing. This intrigued Eddie deeply because no girl has ever made him feel like that. He just saw them as fuck toys, just a tool to get off with. Then he’d discard them just as soon as he picked them up. It was easier that way, and he decided that he would do the same with you.
After the song ended, in the silence of getting set up for the next one, Eddie walked over to Tommy who was positioned at the side stage. He points you out and tells him to get you to come backstage afterwards. This wasn’t a totally uncommon request, Eddie would usually just pick one of the groupies already waiting out back that was dying for a chance to get with him or any member of the band if they weren’t what Eddie wanted.
But there was just something that was captivating Eddie’s attention, his eyes kept wandering to you through out the last two songs that they played. As the reverb from the last notes came to a stop, the lights went dark so they could walk off stage. The venue lights turning back on so the crowd could begin their exit.
Eddie went straight to his dressing room, plopping down in his chair. His sweat soaked hair clung to his face, he leaned down and ran the straw over another line of white powder, inhaling it down and leaning his head back a moment to let it seep into his system. Then poured himself some Jack, began swirling it around while trying to appear nonchalant as he awaited for the girl who caught his eye, even though his entire body was buzzing with excitement for the first time in years.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
Every nerve ending of yours was buzzing with excitement as you got ready for the Corroded Coffin concert. Saving up for months so that you could afford a ticket while working your ass off at a shitty bar waiting tables. Where the men would try to grab your ass, or take you home at the end of every night. Always providing unwanted attention that made your skin crawl.
But this was your birthday present to yourself, you were finally going to see your favorite band. You had moved to NYC a year ago to try and kickstart your aspiring acting career. You were virtually all alone, your only ‘family’ was not supportive of your aspirations. Which gave you the mentality of: “fuck it. I’ll do it my damn self,” with a big middle finger to the universe as you chased your dreams.
Being such a stubborn person with a firecracker attitude was something that you both loved and hated that was inherited from your ‘father’, if you could call him that. You always called him a glorified sperm donor since he never did much to raise you and he drove your mother away when you were a child. He was a drinker and always took the anger that your mother had left him with, out on you.
“Never gonna amount to shit. Running away , just like your bitch of a mother. Good fucking riddance. Won’t be here when you fall flat on your stupid face.” Those were the words that your father left you with before he slammed the door in your face. They were echoing through out your thoughts as you zoned out in the mirror. You shake the parasitic thoughts out of your head as soon as they entered. Feeling determined to have a good time for your birthday, and not wanting to let your daddy issues ruin what you worked so hard for.
Watching yourself in the mirror as you smoothed your hands over your frayed jean skirt, the Corroded Coffin tee that you cropped was hanging off of your shoulders — your midriff also showing, fishnet tights on your legs and a pair of black Doc Martens on your feet. Your eye make up was dark, a hoop nose ring in, your hair teased and messy. Wearing a variety of punk bracelets to cover over up old scars. You looked like you were straight out a Hot Topic catalogue.
It wasn’t that you were necessarily trying to get Eddie’s attention, since his reputation was rather…scandalous. Tabloids always having a field day with all of his rude and crude behavior. You didn’t dress to impress him, it was delusional to think he would pay any attention to you — there would be a thousand girls there. It was just your birthday and you wanted to feel hot, which you did.
Later, after you finally got to the venue, you saw a variety of girls hanging around at the back of it hoping to get picked up by any of the band members, a habit they were most notoriously known for — they loved using and abusing their groupies.
Sighing softly to yourself as you wondered what it must be like. Clenching your thighs together when you imagined Eddie’s hands roaming over your skin. Picturing his ringed fingers creeping up your thighs…then quickly, you shake the thought out of your head.
Once the show started, you began making your way through the wall to wall crowd. Your tiny frame snaking through people, determined that you were going to get to the front. Eventually breaking through to the barricade, you held on for dear life as the crowd pushed and pulled during the crazy energy of the show.
Seeing Eddie up close in person was awe inspiring, you were unsure how he could be even that more beautiful in person. Still, you screamed along to every song. Letting the music take over and putting every ounce of your feelings into it. It was…therapeutic — just what you needed for your birthday.
Suddenly, you felt a pair of eyes on you. Surely you were imagining it, right? No, you weren’t because he was starting at you again. When the lights dimmed after the song that just drove the girls absolutely bat shit insane, you could see his silhouette walking over to the side stage. He knelt down and was talking to someone before going back to his place in center stage.
When the lights came back up, his eyes were still on you. A seemingly curious smile on his face, it made your heart absolutely palpitate. And yet, you stood there and remained so calm on the outside. He held your gaze for a long time, it felt like a staring contest and yet it didn’t hinder Eddie from playing the next song.
A tall burly man, clearly a security person, pulled you out of the hypnotizing stare of Eddie. He was bald, with a thick, close-cut beard that was neatly trimmed in place. A rough hand waving in front of your face to get your attention as he leans close enough for you to hear him speak. He smelled like cigarettes and a really musky cologne, with spearmint gum on his breath. “Eddie wants you to come backstage after the show. So wait here when it’s done, I’ll come get you.” His voice was gruff, one of the deepest you had ever heard.
It takes a minute to register what the man was saying, blinking a few times with a head shake. You stare at him like a deer in headlights, he looks annoyed as he waits for some signal of understanding. Slowly you just nod your head a couple times and the man returns to his former post. Eddie notices your reaction and smirks as he looks away, surely pleased to know he has an effect on you.
When the lights went out at the end of the last song, your heart was racing. Eddie fucking Munson handpicked you out of the crowd? Your nails were digging into your palms trying to provide just an ounce of pain to see if you were truly dreaming. Wincing slightly when you realized this was your reality. The lights came back up, taking a shaky breath to try and steel your nerves once the burly man is approaching you again.
Without even asking, he has a hand out and ready to help you over but you shake your head at him. Leaning your back against the barricade, you rest your palms on the edge of it on your sides, lifting yourself up with a nervous tremble in your arms. Sitting your butt on the metal fence, the man puts a hand on your back just in case he has to catch you as you delicately swing your legs over and hop down. Pulling at your denim skirt that rose a little after getting caught on the fence.
The man had a stoic face now that you could see him in the light, he never cracked a smile or really spoke to you as he leads you through the dimly lit hallways backstage. Trying to keep pace with his long strides, you’re practically jogging just to keep from getting lost. The crew and roadies were hustling backstage to tear down the equipment and get it packed up for the next show tomorrow. You get so busy looking around at everything that once the security guard stops abruptly at a door, you run into his back — it felt like hitting a brick wall.
Laughing nervously, your cheeks flushed as you apologize so meekly. He just rolls his eyes and opens the door for you, making a gesture for you to go inside. Once you turn to face the open door, you see Eddie sitting there. His leg is crossed over his other knee, his legs spread wide apart. A glass of what appeared to be whiskey rested with his ring-clad hand around it on top of the knee that was crossed. He didn’t say anything to you, his dark chocolate eyes just raking over your body.
This interaction only lasted a few seconds, but it felt like hours had passed. Somehow you found the courage deep within your gut and forced yourself to walk forward into the room. Feeling like a bad dream with the way your feet felt so heavy, like trying to navigate through quicksand.
The door was closed after you cleared the doorway, gulping nervously as you stood off to the side. Eddie didn’t say anything as his eyes followed you curiously. Deciding to break the awkward silence you were feeling, chirping up, your voice cracking from nervousness. “So…”
Feeling the blood rushing to your cheeks, all the way to the tips of your ears. A small smirk played on Eddie’s lips, he seemed…amused. His lips parted as he took a drink of his whiskey. His nose scrunched up when the alcohol hit his throat.
Clearing your throat as you look down at your feet, trying to avoid his intense gaze. Your hands fidget with the fraying end of your jean skirt before you continue. “You, uh, wanted to see me?”
Eddie slowly turns his head to the side to look at you, seemingly confused by your question. “Do you really not know why you’re here, sweetheart?” Pushing himself out of the chair and setting his glass on his vanity as he stands. In a couple of strides, he closes the distance between you. Subconsciously you lean against the wall that you’re standing next to as he approaches you.
When he’s right in front of you, he pushes a strand of hair that that was falling in front of your face behind your ear. He was almost…gentle. Nothing like any of the tabloids described him by the people that sold their stories. His blown out eyes softened as he inspected your face. When you don’t answer him, he knits his eyebrows together, pursing a tight lip. “Exactly, how old are you, doll?” Another pet name, it made you rub your thighs together without thinking about it.
Your breath had hitched in your throat at his closeness, he smelled like cigarettes, whiskey, and a mesmerizing cologne. He was so much prettier this close — and so much taller, he practically towered you. The way a splatter of freckles ran across his nose and cheeks. The dimple of his smile. The stubble on his face that ran along his deliciously sharp jawline. Surely he saw how fucking pink you were turning being so close to him, it was embarrassing to you, but it was pretty endearing to Eddie.
Finding the courage to speak, but speaking softly while trying to remain calm. He made you so nervous. “T-twenty-two, shit. I mean, I just turned twenty-three today.” A crooked grin spread across Eddie’s face, his dimple becoming even more defined. His smile was beautiful, he rarely smiled in photos or interviews. Everyone always saying he was the biggest dickhead to work and interact with, but here he was being almost sweet to you. He was making it hard not to just fall in love with him.
“It’s your birthday today, sweetheart?” He brushes his hand through your hair , his nails lightly scraping against your scalp. Not really trusting yourself to speak, you nod your head. He walks back to his vanity, pouring more Jack Daniel’s into his glass. “Suppose we should properly celebrate. Fuck you senseless for your birthday, baby. That sound good?” Your eyes widen in surprise at his words, even after reading the tabloids you were still in shock that he wanted you.
A small chuckle escapes his lips as he notices your reaction. “C’mon, sweet girl. You have to know why I asked you to come.” He walks back towards you, taking a swig of his whiskey. The gleam in his eye was devilish as his hand grips your cheeks, parting your lips for him. Your innocent eyes looked up at him under your lashes. An increasingly wicked look flashes across his darkened eyes. Leaning his face down towards yours, his lips ghosting over yours as he lets the whiskey that filled his cheeks trickle into your mouth.
There was something so erotic about it, you hated whiskey but still you swallowed it, with a scrunch of your nose. It made him chuckle softly as he leaned in, gently meshing his lips with yours. They were soft, his tongue parts his lips and traces the seam of yours before slipping into your mouth. He tasted like whiskey and cigarettes. A small mewl escapes your throat, which causes Eddie to groan into your mouth as his tongue continued to explore every inch. His hand resting on the side of your neck, his thumb gently caressing the column of your throat — feeling your racing heart in your pulse point.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
Eddie hasn’t been this excited by any of the girls he’s picked, it was not normal — but he couldn’t stop himself. The noises you made were driving him crazy. He began kissing down your neck, hitting a sweet spot on your pulse point. Feeling your heart race a little faster and the prettiest fucking moan he had ever heard when his tongue ran over it.
Murmuring over your skin, his hips pressed into yours as his hands rested at the exposed skin of your midriff, his thumbs rubbing just above the hem of your skirt. “Goddamnit, baby. I’ve barely touched you and you’re making such pretty fucking noises.”
A light knocking on the door interrupts them, causing a low growl from the back of Eddie’s throat. “Ed, car’s ready.” The muffled sound of Tommy’s voice on the other side of the door, he knew not to enter when he requested a girl to his back room. He had learned the hard way back on their first tour. Eddie chuckled softly at the memory , his dark brown eyes boring into your deep blue ones.
Reluctantly he pulls away from you, causing a soft whimper from you. Eddie’s muscles tighten at the sound, fighting the urge not to just ravage you there. Normally, he’d be done with you by now. Most girls flung themselves at him, it intrigued him that you didn’t. It helped that you were probably the most beautiful creature that he’d ever laid his eyes on, but it made him want to really take his time with you.
He walks over to the chair that his leather jacket was resting on the back of, shoving his arms into it as he gathers the Jack and his smokes, shoving those into his pocket. He heads to the door and looks at you expectantly, a little surprised you weren’t already following him. “You coming, doll?”
He watched your nervous fidgeting, watched how your thighs rubbed together. It made him smile knowing the effect he was having on you, already imagining how you tasted. He walks back over, snaking his arm around your waist — smirking when you inhale sharply. “I’m inviting you back to my hotel, sweetheart. Now, you can say no. But I’m just trying to help celebrate your birthday with you. Would you like that?”
When you don’t answer right away, Eddie’s tone changes from playful to annoyed and serious. “C’mon, babydoll. Use your pretty mouth and gimme words. I can’t just assume. Do you want to come or not?” His stern look made you swallow hard, he liked that.
Seeing you nod your head, he gives a look that causes you to squeak out. “Y-yes. I would like to go back to your hotel with you.”
It was so easy to make you blush, it made Eddie’s chest feel warm. Something else he’s never experienced, but he couldn’t fight this urge that he had to be near you. When he opened the door and lead you out with his hand on the small of your back, Tommy gives him a weird look. Because he knew this is normally where he parted ways with the girls. Eddie just held his hand up in a non-verbal way of telling him to drop it.
Tommy just huffs under his breath, turning on his heels as he mumbles into the earpiece that he had in. “Got him, he’s bringing company.” It made Eddie’s eyes roll. It couldn’t be that surprising that he would do this. He could already hear the lecture he was gonna get from Tommy in a few hours after the girl leaves.
He watches your face carefully, unable to determine if you’re regretting your decision yet. As soon as that thought crosses his mind, he knits his eyebrows together, asking himself why the hell he cares. But there was this gnawing feeling there and it was starting to freak him out.
Once he helps you climb into the back of the private town car, he climbs in beside of you — looking over to your face. Noticing that you let out a shaky breath, he grabs a hand that was sitting in your lap. It captures your attention, your innocent eyes looking up at Eddie. Softly he asks, “Are you okay with this? Honestly. If you say no, I wouldn’t be mad. Surprised, but not mad.”
Watching you nod your head, he goes to remind you about using your words, but you put a hand up in protest. “I am fine, yes. I wouldn’t have agreed if I wasn’t. I’m just…nervous. You make me nervous.”
This causes Eddie to tilt his head to the side, a small smirk pulling up the corner of his mouth. He found it adorable how fast you were talking and the fact that he made you nervous was endearing. His thumb rubbed the back of your hand, a feeble attempt at reassuring you. This was something he wasn’t used to, completely outside of his normal comfort zone.
“It’s okay to be nervous, doll. But I promise, I’m only going to make you feel good. Celebrate your birthday, make it one to remember. Alright? Just relax, I got you, baby.” His free hand moved up to your cheek, bringing your face to his as he placed a soft kiss at first. He began slowly deepening the kiss as if to not rush you.
The soft moans that emitted from your throat were ready to drive Eddie absolutely fucking mad. His hardening cock straining against his already tight jeans. A groan that was low and deep came from his throat as he continued to explore your mouth, his hand was sliding up your thigh. Resting on the inside of your soft, supple skin, his fingers were gripping so tight it would surely leave bruises in the morning.
Just when Eddie was ready to tear your clothes off, the town car comes to a stop in front of the hotel. Immediately, he pulls away from you as if nothing happened. A soft chuckle escapes his lips when he sees how worked up you are, a wild look in your eye as you try to catch your breath.
The driver opens the door for Eddie, he steps out and holding his hand out for you to use as you climbed out of the backseat. Tommy was at his side immediately and escorted the two of you through the hotel lobby, made sure the elevator was clear. Tommy leans in to Eddie whispering softly, “Same time as usual, boss?”
Eddie just does a singular firm nod of his head before stepping into the elevator behind you. Once the doors close, he pushes you against the elevator wall. His hand sliding up in between your thighs as his mouth was nibbling and sucking on every sweet spot on your neck. Taking mental notes on which spots made the prettiest noises.
Once the elevator dings, Eddie grips you by the ass as he picks you up into his arms. Your legs wrapping around his waist, he carried you down a long hallway, decorated nicer than anything the both of you had ever had growing up. But Eddie was too busy kissing you as he shoved you into his rooms door, fumbling with it to get the damn thing open.
That’s when you giggled, it made Eddie’s chest radiate with such warmth. It was like music to his ears, he cursed under his breath with a smile as he finally got the door open. Immediately, he takes you to his bed and sets you on the edge. Looking down at you, his tongue pressing against the inside of his cheek.
Eddie inspects you, your blue eyes with flecks of emerald green speckled through out the irises. The hint of freckles over the bridge of your nose. A plump bottom lip that was kiss-bitten, but you were chewing on it nervously. He reaches over and pushes back a stray curl that fell in front of your face, gingerly tucking it behind your ear.
“What are you thinking about, sweetheart?” He asks softly.
Your eyes move up to meet his, blinking away whatever you were thinking about. “Just, uh, you’re nothing like I expected you to be.” A nervous chuckle unwillingly escapes your lips.
Eddie’s posture straightens, his own laughter emitting from deep within his chest. He walks over to the bar set up in the corner of the lavish hotel room, pouring himself a glass of whiskey. “Did you want me to be what the tabloids say I am? Hmm? Is that what you want for your birthday?” He takes a sip of the Jack, his chocolate eyes — that were just a hue darker than the whiskey, were peering over the rim of the glass at you.
He watches as you shift on the bed, your thighs clenching together before standing up and nervously walking over to you. “I just want you, honestly.” Noticing the sincerity in your voice, he searches your gorgeous eyes for any sign of deception.
“You just want me?” His voice is soft, but there’s an incredulous tone to it. Shifting his gaze away for a moment before returning back to you, he holds the glass of Jack up to your lips. “Drink.” He commands as he tilts the cup upwards, letting it spill into your mouth. It’s cold from the ice, but the alcohol burns your throat. He lets you finish the rest of the glass, a grin turning up the corners of his lips. “Good girl,” he praises.
A little whimper escapes your lips at his praise, it makes Eddie’s eyebrow quirk up into his curls. “God, you make such pretty noises.” His fingers delicately brush up the inside of your thigh, inching closer to your already aching core. “I haven’t even really touched you, yet.”
A wicked smile pulls at his mouth as he watches the soft gasp come out of you as he gets closer. Feeling the heat radiating from your core already, he presses firmly against the already dampened panties. A low groan comes from his throat as he rubs a firm circle around your clothed swollen bud. He watches you moan softly, noticing how your knees are already shaking. So, he snakes his arm around your waist to keep you upright as he continues to tease you through your panties.
“Already so wet for me, hm? So eager, doll face?” He peppers kisses along your neck, remembering the sweet spots that make you a whimpering mess especially combined with his relentless over the underwear teasing.
Nibbling on one of the sweet spots on your neck and sucking the sensitive skin into his mouth, it causes your knees to buckle and fall into him. Eddie just chuckles darkly against your neck, picking you up and setting you on the edge of the bed. “So responsive.” He murmurs as he begins to undress you. His hands sliding over your skin as he pulls your crop top off of you, revealing a black lacy push up bra. His eyebrows quirk up at the delicious sight of you, a grin pulling at the corners of his mouth. Delicately he unbuttons your jean skirt, tugging down on it. “Need you to lift your hips for me, sweetheart.”
Falling back onto the plush bed and lifting your hips so that Eddie can pull your skirt down, his fingers grazing over your skin as he does so. His hands quickly untie your shoes then pull them off. Bringing your ankle up to his lips as he kisses softly, hearing the small gasp from you made his cock twitch. His calloused, strong hands rubbed up your calves through the fishnet stockings as he slowly spread your legs apart. The thin black lacy panties already damp with the slick of your arousal, with help of the added teasing from his fingers.
His eyes scanned over your body, admiring your beautiful form. “So pretty…” he murmured quietly, hoping you didn’t hear him. Your eyes met with his, making his heart clench. Stuffing that feeling down, he hooks his fingers into your tights and panties, pulling them down slowly. As your smooth, slick pussy is revealed to him, it causes a low growl to form in the back of his throat.
“Fucking hell…” he mumbles as he places wet kisses on the inside of your thighs. “Gotta taste that pretty pussy, baby.” He nibbles the sensitive skin, causing you to jump away from him and moan softly. Hooking his arms under your thighs, he drags you to the edge of the bed. “Don’t run away from me. Gonna make you feel so good, pretty.” He continues to nibble on the inside of your thighs and immediately soothes the sensitive flesh with kisses, running his tongue over your bitten skin.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
Eddie’s mouth was all over every inch of your inner thigh and it was driving you absolutely wild. He’d find a sweet spot that caused you to moan a particular way and he would spend extra time on it. His strong arms hooked around your thighs and resting on your hips, keeping you in place for him. Slowly he inched up to your aching pussy, already dripping with your essence and you could feel yourself clenching at nothing. Feeling desperate to be filled with anything he had to offer at this point.
Unable to meet his gaze, you closed your eyes when he was almost to your wet cunt. That’s when Eddie’s rough voice broke through your concentration. “Eyes on me, sweetheart.” The pet names were causing a flutter in your tummy that you didn’t like. It was going to make it that much harder when you inevitably had to leave. When you don’t listen right away, Eddie huffs in annoyance as he climbs up your body until he has a hand resting next to your head — keeping his body hovering above you.
“What the hell is going on in that pretty little head of yours?” He asked curiously, but there was a hint of aggravation. It made you shrink at the thought that you were annoying him with being so fucking nervous. He was probably used to being done by now with girls, and here you were — can’t even get out of your head for a second long enough to fuck the hottest guy on the planet right now.
Chewing your bottom lip as forces you to meet his gaze with his other hand on your face. “Can I ask you something?” You nervously ask.
Eddie sits on the edge of the bed, he was still clothed while you were only wearing a bra and the jewelry on your wrists. It made you feel extremely vulnerable. So when you sat up with him, you hugged your arms around yourself — trying to hide yourself as much as possible.
He had his head tilted to the side, waiting for this question. “Please don’t hate me when I ask you this, but what made you pick me?” Your voice was soft, insecure sounding as you shuddered internally at how fucking cringy you felt for asking that.
Eddie’s eyes softened, his fingers delicately brushing your hair off of your shoulder before he leaned in to kiss it gently. “Because you seemed different. And then I met you, and realized that was definitely true.” He chuckled, making a lump form in your throat. “Different is good, baby. Promise.” He places a couple more kisses along your collarbone and your arms begin to loosen around yourself. He murmurs along your skin. “Tell me your name.” It wasn’t a question, it was more of a gentle command.
“I-It’s Y/N.” You practically whisper to him.
“Y/N,” he echoes softly. “That’s a pretty name.”
Turning your head to look at him, seeing him be so soft and gentle with you. Where was the asshole that everyone claimed him to be? Is this what he did with other girls? Or were you truly different?
Eddie’s eyes had dropped to your arms that were now in your lap. Gingerly, he picks one up and adjusts the bracelets off of your wrists. Quickly, you try to yank your arm back from him but his grip is stronger than yours. His fingers trace over the scars etched into your skin. Old burn marks from your ‘father’ when he was on a rage-filled bender — putting his cigarettes out on you when you cried for your mom, and a few self inflicted ones. Wincing at the memories, Eddie brings your wrist up to his face, kissing the scars so sweetly it made your stomach flip.
His eyes were sad, which you hated. This is why you kept them covered up, it was the exact look that Eddie had on his face right now. It made you want to run. When he finally spoke, it was barely above a whisper. “You’re beautiful, you know that?” His eyes meet yours, a gentle understanding in them that you didn’t expect to see.
He stood up and in one fell swoop, pulled his shirt off of his body. His torso was toned, littered with tattoos and some chest hair. Then he knelt down at your feet again, he held his hair out of the way as he showed you old cigarette burn scars. Something apparently the two of you had in common.
The tabloids assumed Eddie had a tragic backstory, as most musicians in the metal industry do, but whenever he was asked he would never give an answer — or he’d bullshit around it to change the subject.
“Seems we might not be that different.” He said softly.
Leaning down, offering him the same gentle kindness, you place a soft kiss over the scars. That’s when Eddie gently pushes you away, trying to distance himself again.
Hooking his arms around your thighs again, instead of taking his time with kisses, he just dives in to your wet heat. This was his way of changing the subject. A groan leaves his throat as he tastes your sweet nectar, his tongue diving in and curling up between your wet folds.
The sensation is almost shell shocking as you just lean back onto your elbows and try to adjust to them. He spreads your thighs further apart, shaking his head back and forth a little, his nose rubbing across your swollen clit as he does so. The moans that were leaving your mouth, you had no idea you were capable of making.
Eddie stares up at you with half-lidded eyes, his tongue drags up your wet slit before his lips engulf your swollen bud into his mouth. He sucks on it as his tongue deliberately swirls around it. Making pleased noises as he felt your hips try to buck up against him. Feeling his middle finger rub up and down your slit, gathering the juices on the pad of it before he slowly slides it into you. Inching it to allow your tightness to get used to his thick digit. He groaned against your cunt as he surely was imagining it wrapped around his cock.
Pulling back just slight enough to speak, his voice rough with desire. His finger slowly sliding in and out of you, but you whimper at the loss of his mouth. “Fuck, sweetheart.” Your pussy clenching around his finger at the pet name, he groans louder. “So fucking tight.” His finger curls up against the spot that not even you can reach, causing you to practically see stars. The moan that you let out impressed even you, but you couldn’t even help it if you tried. “Make the prettiest fucking noises f’me, fuck.” His thumb was rubbing circles around your clit as he kissed the inside of your thigh. The cool metal of his rings brush up against your heated core, reminding and confirming that he keeps them on.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
Eddie slid a second finger into your wet heat, allowing you to adjust to the added girth — preparing you for when you take him fully. Groaning against your thigh as he kissed and nibbled it, his middle and ring finger were curling and uncurling inside of you. Putting pressure on your sensitive g-spot as he slowly slid his slick covered fingers in and out. His thumb was still rolling around your swollen bundle of nerves.
He was admiring how pretty your pussy was as it clenched and sucked his fingers in. “Such a good girl. Making ya feel good, baby?” Eddie cooed as he watched your face, trying so hard to concentrate on forming a response, but your body writhed in pleasure and pretty moans came out instead.
He grinned against the supple, bruise bitten skin of your inner thighs as his fingers kept working their magic. Most girls didn’t get this fucked out until his dick was stretching them open. Eddie imagined how fucking hot it was going to be to see you react to his cock inside of you. The way your body was responding to him, he could feel you getting close.
Murmuring against your skin, encouraging you and coaching you through it — he could tell no one’s made you feel like this and it pleased him to know that he was your first. “C’mon, baby. Let go for me. Let me see that pretty pussy cum on my fingers.” Groaning against your skin with each and every pretty little whimper and moan that you made. He was fighting every one of his nerve endings not to sink his aching cock into you.
That’s when he feels your body letting go, your back arches as your hand finds his resting on your thigh, squeezing it hard as your orgasm rocks through you. The moans that were leaving your lips were unlike anything he’d ever heard before, he could feel his cock drooling with pre-cum in his tight pants. His fingers continue coaxing you through your high, your pussy clenching and unclenching as your essence was bubbling out and soaking his hand.
It was truly beautiful to watch and he was mesmerized, murmuring softly. “That’s my good girl.” Slowly he pulled his fingers out, causing you to whimper at the loss. A crooked grin flashes across Eddie’s face before his tongue lazily laps over your soaked folds. It causes you to jump with how sensitive you are now, but he just holds you in place as he cleans up all your sweet nectar like a man that was starved.
Once he was done, he stood up, towering over you as you laid there on the bed. Your blue eyes glazed over with a dumb grin on your face, Eddie grinned down at you. “Told you I was gonna make you feel real good, sweetheart.” His fingers ghosted over your skin before he was pulling you to your feet. Your legs were a little shaky, so he held you close. “How are you feeling?”
Eddie’s hands were roaming over your back, unhooking your bra and sliding it off of your shoulders. Revealing your perfectly sized, full and round breasts. He marveled as one of his hands roamed over the supple skin, pinching your pink nipple between his forefinger and thumb, rolling it gently. Your head falls into Eddie’s neck, overwhelmed by the pleasure still coursing through your body.
When you don’t answer his question, Eddie pinches your teat a little harder. You inhale sharply as a painful mewl escapes your lips. “Gotta use your words, doll. Quit testing my patience.”
“F-feel really good, Eddie.” You whimper out.
He caresses your cheek, his thumb brushing against your cheekbone. “See? That wasn’t so hard. Good girl.” He kisses your forehead softly, he pulls back to look at you. This behavior was unlike him, and it was as if he couldn’t help himself. What the hell was happening?
Deciding he’s getting too close to you, he guides you back to the bed. “Get on your knees, face down, doll.” His voice was rough, a lot less affectionate than it was just a moment ago.
As he watches you do as your told, he finally releases his aching cock from its denim prison. Groaning in satisfaction at the relief from it springing forward and at the sight of your perfectly rounded ass. His jeans pool at his feet and he kicks them off to the side, he walks over to you. Immediately his hands are roaming over your plump curves, cursing under his breath as he admires you. “So fuckin’ perfect, sweet girl.”
Eddie’s cock bobs up and back down as it twitches from his arousal, the tip of it shining with his pre-cum. He can’t remember the last time he was so excited to sink his cock into a girl. Sure, he wanted to get his rocks off. But here lately, it took everything in him just to stay hard most of the time because he was bored. For the first time in a long time, he was worried he would have to focus too hard on not cumming until you do.
A wicked grin forms on his face as he remembers something. “Almost forgot, birthday girl.” His hand slaps against the meat of your ass, but you don’t yelp — you moan for him. He groans as he squeezes your ass. A perfect pink handprint already etched into your tender skin. “Mm, birthday girl likes being spanked?” His hand clashes against your opposite cheek, another moan as you fist the bed sheets. Your aching core throbbing for him from the pain, he growls softly.
Aligning himself at your soaked entrance, he hears the little gasp that you try to muffle into the mattress when you feel his thickness. A grin forms on his face as he rubs your tender ass cheek. “Issokay babygirl, I’ll be real gentle at first. Just tell me if it hurts. Okay?” When you nod your head, he slowly begins sinking into your slick heat. Rocking his hips back and forth to slowly work his length in. Eddie lets out a low moan as he feels your pussy practically sucking him in and gripping him tight.
“F-fuck,” he groans. “So fucking tight. Taking my cock like such a good girl.” His hand smacks your tender cheek harder than before and he feels you tighten around him, Eddie grips your hips tightly. “S-shitshitshit, don’t do that baby girl. Want you to cum first.”
Eddie begins to piston his hips against your plump ass cheeks, the skin snapping as he collides with you. Going slowly at first so that he doesn’t lose his control, but then when you start making those pretty fucking noises — he almost loses it. He pulls out before slowly sliding back in, bottoming out each time he does so. The room is a symphony of both of your moans, Eddie’s grunts, and your whimpers.
His hand hooks around your waist, his fingers rubbing firm circles around your swollen clit, causing you to throb around Eddie’s aching cock. He moans softly as he continues to pump into you. “Mmf, that’s it sweetheart. Want you to cum on my cock. Let go, I got you…”
Feeling you get closer, he begins to thrust into you harder and faster. Chasing both of your highs as he continues to circle your clit with the pad of his calloused finger. His other hand is grips your hip tightly as he pulls you back to meet his thrusts. Eddie can see your face turned to the side, your eyes closed in pleasure, mouth hanging open as you whimper and moan for him. Knuckles white as you grip the sheets tightly.
Your body begins to quake, causing him to thrust faster. He can feel your pussy throbbing as your release squirts out all around his cock, soaking his pelvis and the hotel sheets below you. Eddie groans loudly as he can’t hold back anymore. With a final hard thrust, his cock pulses, his thick cum shoots out, covering your walls and filling you up. Eddie slowly thrusts into you, milking his cock as you both chase the highs and let it subside.
Your bodies are sweat slick and covered in both of your juices, Eddie tries to catch his breath as he slowly pulls his softening cock out of you. His eyes widen in surprise when he realizes that he forgot to put a condom on in all of his excitement.
“Shit…” he mutters under his breath. His grip on your hips tighten as he realizes his mistake. “Stay put.” He mutters before he retreats to the bathroom, grabbing a warm, wet wash cloth. He tries his best to clean you up, cursing himself internally for being so careless.
Finally, you slump over onto the bed, exhausted and fucked out. Your eyes even more glazed over than before, a dumb grin still on your face. Eddie crawls over next to you, pulling you into his arms. His anger with himself for being so stupid melting away when he sees the smile on your face.
He sighs heavily, brushing your hair out of your face with his fingers. His voice is soft as he talks to you. “Sorry.”
You raise your head, your eyebrows knit it confusion. “For what?”
Eddie rubs the back of his neck. “I fucking forgot to put on a condom. And you’re so goddamned tight…I didn’t have time to pull out.” He muttered, his freckled cheeks turning pink.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
You hear the words, but they don’t register right away. Call it…shock. Your eyes widen and you blink it away. “What?”
Eddie’s palm drags down his face, he doesn’t say anything so that he can let the information sink in. “Eddie, seriously? You forgot to put a condom on?”
He uncovers his face, his eyes dark — worry lines already forming under them. “Don’t you think I know how stupid it was?”
His harsh tone stings, a lump forming in your throat. Sitting up, you stare at him bewildered that he’s taking this out on you. “Don’t take it out on me. It’s not like I’m the one that had any control over the matter.” Your eyes were welling up with tears, unable to control your feelings when you were upset was something you always hated yourself for.
Immediately, Eddie’s face softens and he sits up. Cradling your head between his palms as he kisses your forehead gingerly. “I know, I’m sorry.”
Confusion sets in as he apologizes and becomes so gentle with you. “I-If you’re worried that I would run and sell my story to the tabloids, o-or try to exploit you for money for a baby that may or may not come about...you’re wrong. I would never…” your voice trails off, tears streaming down your face.
Eddie pulls you down into a warm embrace, letting you cry on his chest. His fingers raking through your long hair as he tries to comfort you. “I’m sorry, I wasn’t trying to imply that. But please also see it from my point of view, Y/N.”
Yuck. He stopped using the pet names that you loved, and suddenly his lips saying your name left a sour taste in your mouth.
Internally, you were trying to prepare for the world of hurt that was about to be bestowed on you once you inevitably had to leave. Imagining that his lawyer would contact you down the line, or maybe even he’d have you sent home with a morning after pill so that he doesn’t have to deal with the future consequences. Silently cursing yourself for letting yourself fall for him, maybe he was the asshole like everyone said. How many girls went through exactly what you were feeling right now?
His arms squeezed tighter around you, his lips pressed into your hair. “Hey,” he says softly. “Stop overthinking. We will deal with whatever happens, together. Promise.”
Your heart flutters, his words seem genuine but you’re not entirely convinced. “Eddie…” you start. But then you’re rudely interrupted by a loud knocking on the suite door. Eddie groans softly, finding a pair of boxers and slipping them on before he goes to answer it.
Laying there in his bed and trying not to listen to what’s being said, scared of what he could be saying. You hear what sounds like Tommy’s muffled voice, him and Eddie getting into a pretty heated whispering match. And then all the sudden there’s a crash of commotion.
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
When Eddie opened the door, Tommy was expecting you to be with him so that he could send you home in a taxi. A grave look on Eddie’s face concerns him. “Not done yet, boss? I can come back in an hour…”
“She’s staying the night.” Eddie calmly says.
Tommy’s eyebrow quirks up. “The night? Eddie, are you insane? What are you even thinking?”
Eddie sets his jaw, his eyebrows furrowed. “Listen, I don’t pay you to fucking lecture me.”
“You’re right, you don’t. But the girl is fucking bad news.” Eddie’s jaw clenches, but Tommy continues anyways. “She could stalk you, get too attached, try to exploit you by poking a hole in a fucking condom. Use your damn head, Eddie.”
That’s when Eddie’s fist collides with Tommy’s jaw. He knocks him down, he looks up at Eddie confused. “What the hell has gotten into you man?” No longer whispering, he’s angry. “It’s just a fucking chick! No different than the last thousand you do this to.”
Eddie stood over Tommy, he was a life long friend of his. But in this moment, it didn’t matter — he was seeing red. His jaw was clenched so tight that his teeth ground together, his finger was shoved into his face. “Say another goddamn thing about her, and you’re fired. She is nothing like any of them. So, get used to fucking seeing her. Now get your ass up, and leave me the hell alone until tomorrow morning.”
With that, Eddie leaves him on the floor, slamming the door shut as he stalks off back to the bedroom. His anger melting the second his eyes land back on you, you’re covered by the bed sheets — wide eyed and likely frightened by the commotion. The corners of his mouth turn up into a smile to disarm you.
“What happened?” A look of concern flashes on your face as you noticed his already bruised knuckles.
“Oh this? Nothing. Had to put Tommy in his place.” He waves it off and crawls back into bed, wrapping you into his arms. There’s a slight nervous stutter in his voice as he practically whispers to you. “S-so, I’m not good at this. At all. This isn’t normal for me. Can’t honestly say I’ve ever had an actual relationship, per se. And before you start , no this isn’t because I fucked up and didn’t use a rubber.”
His fingers are raking through your hair as he delicately talks to you, letting out a shaky sigh as he looks up at the ceiling. “From the moment my eyes landed on you, every one of my nerve endings has been…electric. I knew there was something different about you. Something I’ve never had before. And I’ve gotta say, doll, I’ve never felt this way. I’m not saying we have to jump into something and label it…but I would love to get to know you better. Take you on some dates. And if you’d do me the honor, I’d love to make you mine.”
Eddie could feel that his cheeks were on fire, if his hair wasn’t covering his ears, he was sure the tips of them would likely be a deep red. That’s when he felt your soft hand rest on his cheek and pull it back towards you. He saw the emotion welling in your waterline, his thumb brushed back and forth along your chin as he stared into those beautiful ocean pooled irises.
“I would like nothing more, Eddie.” Your smile was soft, warm — it made his heart melt.
There was a brief moment of silence before Eddie continued. “My mom always played music for me as a child, and the songs always had these beautiful depictions of love. She tried her best to describe it to me, but I was just a kid, ya know? But I think it’s all starting to make sense…” he whispered to you as his thumb brushed along your kiss-bitten lip.
With that, Eddie pulled your chin up to meet his lips with a soft kiss. Neither of you were perfect, you weren’t trying to be. But Eddie knew right then and there that he would do anything in his power to spend the rest of his life by your side. For the first time in his life, he felt confident that someone else would do the same.

STWG prompt: Tuesday but make it gay
There's a clatter in the next room and Steve knows, he just knows, that if he goes to look it's going to be one of a few different things that could be happening. The first is that his kids, the gremlins they are, have infiltrated his home yet again and someone knocked something over again. The second is that Robin got that text she was hoping for from her crush and promptly fell off their couch, because that's something she apparently does often when flustered. Or, the third thing, is that Eddie is here. And Eddie is trying to be stealthy. And that's suspicious. So Steve sits for a moment staring at his door to see if he hears the kids or if he hears Robin scrambling to his room to throw herself on his bed and go on and on about what these texts mean, which of course he's going to be right there with her while she deciphers all of it. Instead he hears silence, and then another clatter and a soft, “Jesus H. Christ, get it together Munson.” As his notoriously loud roommate attempts to make his way past Steve's room undetected. And that, well that just won't do. Eddie had been gone for two weeks to the Appalachian mountains to see his uncle, he wasn't gonna slide by without at minimum a hello.
Steve stood and padded softly to his doorway, he leaned in the frame crossing arms pulling a move, he knew, but trying to look calm and amused as Eddie came around the corner before squeaking at seeing Steve looking straight at him.
“Heyyyyy, Stevieeee.” Eddie was fidgeting, a box in his hands. Ah, so that's what he'd been dropping as he tried and failed to sneak into the house. Now Steve was infinitely even more curious.
“Hey Eds. How was your trip?” Steve looked back up to Eddie's eyes, an easy smile on his face, “did anything interesting happen while you were up there?”
Eddie swallowed and looked down to the wrapped box in his arms, then back to Steve again. Without saying a word he sprinted to his room and closed the door leaving Steve standing there confused.
The next morning after Steve got back from his jog he came into the house to Robin and Eddie sipping their coffees.
“Stevie!! Happy Tuesgay!!!” She yelled, “best day of the week! You're helping me with my drag tonight, right? I need something to really capture Del’s attention.”
Steve grinned, “Obviously Bobbin, you have to help me fit into my Karma drag anyway. Y'know Eddie needs to see her in action.”
“Oh, that I do. I'll be going to Rosa’s after the show by the way, just a heads up.” She smiled knowingly at her best friend.
Later that night he helped Robin get into her leather pants, a mesh top, with tape pulling her breasts to look like pecs, hair teased into a Mohawk and facial hair painted on. She was edgy, hot, and Del was going to drool if she had any taste. In turn she helped him melt into his blood red sequined gown, the chest dipping down to his navel as his chest piece made his chest look full and voluptuous. He painted his lids dark, and his lips a full pouty vamp red to match, the last was the hair, teased to the gods. Eddie wasn't going to know what hit him, and the number he had in mind would at least capture his attention. Maybe if he was lucky Eddie would finally realize it was him he was pining for.

i'm feeling devious (you're looking glamorous)
Author: fivecenturiesverse Fandom: Stranger Things
Summary: Steve Harrington is secretly a nerd. He's also, in Eddie's opinion, a massive dick. (Or: five times nobody but Eddie believes that Steve is a giant nerd, and one time he tells everyone else.)
Readers Notes: This fic is light, fluffy, and touchingly real. Amazing writing with great characterization, what’s not to love? The author captures Eddie’s frustration and astonishment beautifully, managing to balance the humor of the situation with a plot that’s lightweight enough to feel approachable and is easily digestible. While this fic isn’t a steddie must read, its definitely a should read.
