I’ve always struggled with body image because I’m a heavier set lady. I’ve probably tried every diet or workout fad out there and some worked while others didn’t do a thing. I seriously thought that as this belly got bigger, I would’ve been a little more self conscious and hate the way I look in the mirror but actually I’m pretty proud of this belly!!! I’m amazed to know that I’m growing another human life right inside this bump! I’m so excited to meet the little guy that body image is the last thing on my mind. I feel healthy and strong and can’t wait to go through all the emotions of motherhood once he arrives. For a moment, I was very self conscious about the scars and discoloration from my eczema, even though I shouldn’t have been. But this belly... I think it looks beautiful! Believe it or not but this is the first photo of me ever in a two piece. I hated my waistline and could never justify wearing one. But now I have the excuse that I have a baby in my belly!
