You said once or twice that Rocket is your favorite character —or was at least 🕊— so I'll ask you a question: Is there a reason for you liking him? "I just think he's cool (^∇^)" is a good answer, but if, oooonly if there is more of a reason to it, would you like to share it? Thoughts on his lore? Any headcanon you may have? Which faction do you like the most? ( °∇^)］

(Playground is my favorite because of the Lovedoves.. has my sight really failed me to make me read that they are given to partners as gifts? IMAGINE THE FLUFFY SCENARIOS WE CAN MAKE WITH THEM!!! 😡💕)

Thinking more about it I would like to hear your opinion on the characters in general, that is, if you have any...

I personally have Illumina as my favorite due to some unknown reasons tbh, nice color pallette and design I guess ( -_・)? and maybe the way he looks like he is haunted by the remnants of a past he can no longer return to. This assumption of mine was thought of before the Q&A and now it just makes me think more about it (ФωФ).. and there is Graffiti standing besides him on second place,, its also due to his cool design and veery small lore we have of him.

Maybe it's just the 3 A.M. energy kicking on me but the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme playing on my earphones, but reading you works about Illumina is making me want to finish writing the analysis of him I was making after being lore dropped. May sleep don't catch me because it didn't want me when I was peaceful trying to, it won't have me now.

(At first I wrote another description of why I like Illumina but oh god the manhwas told me it was sounding like some cold Duke of the North bullshit NOOOOOOO MY SHAYLA HE IS NOT LIKE THIS.)

Ant Anon! It has been a while since you dropped by the teahouse ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و Your presence alongside with your words certainly caught me off guard, but in a good way though!

As for why I love Rocket, there are many reasons! First of all I definitely had to give the skilled artists for making such captivating fanarts of his. Each take of them on how would he look like if he isn’t blocky caught my eyes, and I’d admit that it’s what drawn me to his character at the first place ( ˊᵕˋ ) Next is a bit biased, but blue used to be my favorite color, so guess that it syncs! His design is pretty simple, though a bit basic so I wish that he can have his redesign soon. A thing that catches my interest is his lore. If you have been noticed, then I’m a huge geek when it comes to lore or character analysis! Especially when it comes to personality and to predict how will they act ( • ̀ω•́ )✧ I find Rocket’s character interesting, as it kinda pushes me to learn more about him day to day. Even with that limited information, I still love him since I’m biased and all ꉂ (´∀｀)ʱªʱªʱª

I don’t know if his lore will change drastically after the rewrite, but so far I enjoy viewing Rocket’s character the way he is. His change from a violent teenager into someone who has been calmed down in a positive sense did motivate me a bit on my own personal healing process. And since I already had a Rocket x reader headcanons list (both NSFW and SFW), I’m just going to add the additional headcanon of mine that he has the urge to bite anything or anyone out of nowhere because for some reason his teeth just itched to give in the urge, so he has to find something else to bite into whenever he feels like it. Sword used to be bitten by him during his teenage years (￣∇￣) And his bite can actually be nasty if he actually wants to tear someone apart

As for my favorite region, I’d say that it depends to be honest. So far the information that we have gathered from each factor is just the general knowledge of what is it like, aside from the Lovedoves and the crows like you mentioned — which I admit, they’re so freaking adorable! — but that’s it. I genuinely wish that we can get a proper picture of the ecosystem of every regions, and by that I mean I want to see the animals and the florals of specialties they had. But for now, to answer the question of which factor do I like most, I have to give it to Playground! Not just because of the overall vibe, I want to see the deeper aspects of life there because I know it’s pretty tough to survive. To think that the Lovedoves are a specialty to such violent factor, it catches my gaze if not immediately. And the fact that it’s up on the sky is just crazy! Guess that we’re on the same page then, Ant Anon ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝ꕤ*.ﾟ

And I completely understand why Illumina is your favorite even when you can’t think of why. I dare say that it’s the vibe that he brings - something so cold yet so intriguing, like the light of the unknown path that disturbs one to the point of one feels at ease with his presence. He’s lost, and from my point of view, it’s logical when we take his lore into consideration. Somehow when you mentioned that, I realized just how much the vibe of his appearance actually makes senses ꉂ (˵ •̀▽•́ ˵ ) I genuinely don’t know much about Graffiti because of the minimum of his lore, but I do like his design! It actually makes me question about how do one even acquire a Zetagraft’s head out of the blue, but nonetheless, it’s definitely interesting when we appreciate the chaotic vibe of the design

If I have to list out my opinion of every character in general, this will get unforgivable long (ᵕ—ᴗ—) But based on what you have told me so far, seemed like you do have a knack for character analysis. I do like listening to them, so if you want to reach out to enlighten me, I’m all ears (๑'ᵕ'๑)⸝* I’m actually curious on the Illumina analysis you have mentioned though, I just can’t help it (๑>◡<๑)

When you listen to birds, they usually talk about food, sex/family, or anxiety. If they knew about the true nature of humanity's cruel and exploitative relationship with birds, they would be discussing rebellion. Humanity's current trajectory about birds is to cause the extinction of one-third of all bird species by the end of this century. This record crystallises the borders between memory, beauty, and anxiety. At the core is an amalgam of all the birds we have met and heard, their sounds synthesised from a blend of memories. Esthetically it simulates the qualities of bird sounds, hitting similar frequential sweet spots. There is a great variety of birds captured here, from high to low frequencies, from solo voices to groups, from birds standing on their own to complex world-building, where the bird voices are part of an ecosystem, becoming one of the instruments. You could stop there, enjoying this record on a musical level, but it invites us to do one step further, to consider reconfiguring our relationship with the Earth and its inhabitants. To question our impact, and to ask why we need synthetic bird music. Is it just a visionary endeavour or is it because we are failing at fostering a world in which organic birds and other creatures can thrive? 32 artists from the whole world, including our favourite artists from Eastern Europe, have contributed to this compilation both with new and previously released music. Their music is ordered from dawn to dusk and into the night. The guise of health and prosperity do their number on one’s psyche. Without the slightest guilt or regret, this clock tears hearts to shreds. Fairytales depict happy endings minus their funerals. Preachers paint eternity to account for our past. Doctors and nurses rush forward to help some, while being pierced by the sheer number of wounds. Humans argue to make it work? Yep . . . Adulthood is a badge and seniority the finish line. Relevance is as permanent as this current exhale. Childhood happened. It’s hard to gain a following without noticing this mirror. The words we write, are they for validation? The smiles we fake, are they to keep people distant? The hours we grind, are they to correct our deficiencies? Survival is on borrowed time. So, it’s easier to fake wholeness. Pointing out what worked for us seems logical. It’s better to introduce light than permeate our ecosystem with fear and anxiety? Ride with my stupidity for a couple more minutes. Transparency is difficult and costly. They don’t want to panic or feel uncomfortable around you. Others are seeking equilibrium. Positivity is an ocean filled with creativity, emotion, and self. The last part is the highest hurdle. Repressing our DNA to conform is just lying subconsciously. Hiding from our demons keeps them breathing beneath our syntax. Pretending to agree is convenient. Avoiding the face behind our makeup and mask is delusion. Heavy? I’m not as skinny as back in 2011 🥺 This existence thing hurt more than I wanted to make public. But; as the layers fell away, the more I realized what I’m not. I’m not intelligent, strong, or sophisticated. I’m a breath and heartbeat sharing this ride with others like me. That’s enough.

As steam rises from this kettle, its waters mix with feelings and experiences propelling my empty soul skyward. Quiet whispers seep out along with fading dreams and desires. Void of light, my weary eyes surrender their vision. Amidst the sound of this broken record, another is here causing it all. Blood flowing through my veins and heart beating to stabilize my senses, there’s no escaping dependence. Why any of this exists? My mortal spirit can’t impersonate eternity. All I can express is personal experience and perspective. Qualifying such with testimonies of others, whether ancient or present, merely multiplies data. For the forest and ocean, none of what I say or do enhances their purpose. The angelic and demonic aren’t dependent on us to dictate their whereabouts. If what I subscribe to is relevant, there’s so much going on beneath creation’s lenses. The context, while incomprehensible, synthesizes ecosystems and timelines. Hundreds of thousands of our species will be born and pass away daily. Endless conversations and memories will be made possible by a universal mechanism driving galaxies and personalities forever. It’s so easy to ignore the sky and neglect dream state for sanity. It’s difficult to incorporate the limitations of “permanency” into our plans. Why? Death invalidates the idea of getting stronger and more intelligent through our abilities. The path of least resistance is apathy and avoidance. It’s true, I’ve fallen into my purpose. A vapor, that’s all each moment contains. No matter how grand the plan and investment, we cannot capture permanency. Be it a precious relationship or damning hardship, time doesn’t differentiate for any being. Such can’t be harnessed by sobriety or wisdom. Life engages all with change. So, must we learn through hindsight or study to be prepared beforehand? It doesn’t matter. Right now, that’s all it takes to be present. Let the skies rain down upon the infernos we ignited trying to keep some light. Wash away with each cycle upon the shore and see what becomes of things. You and I were never meant to control maturation. We are meant to be; that is all. So, distinguished or unfavored, the stars shine brighter than ten thousand planets like ours. The fact that we need their heat, light, and gravity demolishes any fables of self-reliance and power. What we do with the energy and space won’t be remembered by most. If validation is all we want, let go of any imaginations built upon progress and falling behind. Homies, any guarantee of paradise must not neglect the reality that we will remain ourselves well past any stay within these bones. Reflect, not to return to the past but to slow down enough to breathe this future. Not a guru, genius, or enlightened man; I’m merely dancing to the sound of this ecosystem that has been home. Drowning in imagination, the silent ones continue to breathe into me. Their hands and feet aren’t like ours (limited). For, echoes of their touch and trembling of our ecosystems are perpetuated without the slightest wiggle of instability. Even if I could read about their actions, none of that data could retain the depth of their investment. When they speak; elements of time, space, and existence continue occurring. If they want to birth something, no one can add to or take away from it. Because they are pure; the foundations of thought, being, and eternity are as well. How wise we’ve become through technology, social interaction, and documentation? How powerful by generations, sacrifices, and creative actions? Such are because we are destined for them. Barriers between them and us are minor. Descending back into the atmosphere of pragmatism and reality, each of us hears them clearly when placing two fingers on that special area of our wrists where thumps of our heartbeats spell love. As each rattle comes to a close, we exhale towards them upon exiting from this finite playground. To abide with them forever has been left for us to accept. Our predecessors from all walks of this planet spoke about their journeys and revelations of our authors. Sadly, I can’t give you anything objective. Happily, it’s not my place. Being a product of the grand synthesis which lead to universe(s), billions of fish swimming throughout oceans, and jungles keeping oxygen flowing for humans to inhale; I’m temporary. My role is the same as any other’s. Listen, see, feel, and bear my personality nakedly. Such are enough . . . We are from, within, and unto the plans of that which took nothing and made all things spanning the dimensions that make ours perfectly. Huh?

Morning sickness and confusing thoughts, a cycle that started long ago, continue to ride me into each day. As my mind wants to sprint out of the gates to fulfill responsibilities, a still small whisper forces me to slow the heck down. Whether on vacation or in the middle of crisis, I have no idea. Observations through people watching help me find synchronicity amidst my alienation. Doubting that I’ll hold any of it together, memories of failure leading to freedom rush back. Every time I go through seasons of pride and glory, my finite dependency wanders closely behind my ego to ensure that I don’t conclude wrongly. The pursuit of perfection is laid in relativity. A tree, bird, and stone have differing purposes. A Joshua, Erin, and Andrew contain contrasting puzzle pieces fitting them to the all. Raised in a religious ecosystem, every belief has its feeder. Objective thought was elevated to the throne. Emotional desire became subject to necessity. Words devoured any raw feelings and sorted them out. Others forced me to let go of independent misery. I could ramble forever or stare silently just as well. What I’ve learned is that I have a very limited capacity for knowing. What was lost always reappeared in another form. May I retain the founding and supportive invisible who continues to hold my decrepit spirit. Though my complaints and errors run rampant, may they continue to endure the hellfire that is my soul. As a curse or however they’d like to describe me, may my walls and lies cease to cause division between us entirely. When I finally let the exhale return to its Ether, may I trust them to care for this world which gave me its love . . .

Granted expectation and desire, I can only take credit for so much. This personality, with its senses, was synthesized by eternal hands. Conditioning through a temporal ecosystem continues to be provided by invisible shifts in time and purpose. Scapegoating infinity for failures is a folly that leads nowhere. I can’t say that I understand any of it objectively. What I have are age and experience. Far from unique, we’ve been given the same sunlight and gravity to experience this plane. Without weapons to overcome fate, it is either real or imaginary. Certain areas of existence are undoubtably predetermined. The constructs of DNA, era, and planet weren’t something creatures designed. Science, with all of its advantages and explanations, points towards a grandness placing our Solar System within a society of giants dwarfing the human conversation outright. Futility only exists in an egocentrism that would rather lord over the heavens than embrace their support. As our moon holds back the tides, subatomic particles weave it all together. Multiplication of expression and vanity of thought are responses to an ocean of anxiety and fear. While I am subconsciously attempting to appear smart through writing, I’m just hoping to exhale a myriad of emotions. There’s no deeper motivation or meaning. I’m at a loss for why I get to experience such grandeur. Existentially, I can only continue to receive what this wondrous storyline provides learning that my actions are allowed . . . not earned.

Putrid reflection, with all of its excuses and memories, continues to cling to me beneath this makeup. The eraser on my pencil wore out years ago. Permanent marker and documentation, though I’ve run from their context, expose how little I know about anything. Needing to fake it regularly, I wish I didn’t have the capacity to play pretend. If only the deep seated self surfaced, my lies would crumble. I’m not calm, cool, or collected. When things appear to be in order, it’s messy inside me. I have my confidants and writings. Certain ones know how frail this heart really is despite my mechanical means of adulting. I don’t hide anything from infinity because such is a waste of time and energy. I guess that the issue is that there isn’t one. My imagination concocts scenarios and outcomes that aren’t real. The presuppositions of deserving, earning, and should be are built on finite vanities and foundations. The prioritization of becoming is a distraction from being sustained infinitely. From the atom to ecosystem, each breath and second is synthesized by our sources. Such generalization makes for a good scapegoat and fuels avoidance. However, ignoring it to feel in control is worse. 10,000 ways to complicate it, I’m just getting warmed up. Multiplying words and ideas, my “issue” is self-inflicted. I was given everything but want to earn some of it. Damn. Eventually, I need to grow up and just receive it. Such is love. That thing which all of us don’t deserve equally . . . Even if I don’t want to accept it, its impact creates me. Mercy, naïveté, and devotion; these three are annihilating my wicked depravity repeatedly.
