Zero waste Lifestyle
If your looking to cut back on waste or start a transition to a zero waste lifestyle here are a few tips of mine to help you make the switch a little easier.
Grocery Shopping Tips.
Here are a few items you will need to take with you.
1) Canvas grocery bags to store all your goodies.
2) Reusable cotton muslin bags for vegetables, fruits, and dry foods.
3) Mason and/or Canning jars for wet items like; meats, milk, cheese, and butter.
4) Stainless steel reusable canteen or reusable coffee cup.
You can find some of these items at your local second hand stores or thrift shops. Organic shops like whole foods and mom’s organic market also carry some of these items. If all else fails amazon carries everything else you will need.
The transition to a zero waste lifestyle is challenging at first but every time you take it one step further you will become more confident in your ability to make a difference. “It starts with only one.”-Eco-Living

Zero waste Lifestyle
What is zero waste?
It’s a way of living to reduce your waste to as little as possible so that you don’t put anything into a landfill.
What is buying in Bulk?
When stores put food into a container that you can take as little or as much as you will need. The food you buy in bulk goes by weight and if you bring your own containers you want to weigh the container before to get the tare weight. The weight of the container will be deducted at the cash register when you pay.
Where to find stores that sell bulk items?
When i first started my zero waste journey finding places that sold bulk was difficult. Each bulk store sells something different than the last so you might have to go to a few different ones to get everything you need. I found a website that will show you nearby bulk stores. Here is the website. http://zerowastehome.com/app/
