Crosshair: *chugging milk because Wrecker dared him to*
Echo: Aren’t you lactose intolerant?
Crosshair: This isn’t lactose, it’s milk.
Tech, facepalming: You’re a fucking idiot.

Anakin, hastily walking up to Padmé at the 501st command center: Padmé! What are you doing here?
Padmé: well, you said you were getting ready for an intense battle, I thought you might want some of these cookies for the ride before you boarded the ship and went off to battle...
Echo, looking up from a holotable all smug: with all due respect, senator, you got a bit late. He's already lost, I'm 15 to 1 with the general.
Padmé: Wh- was the big battle a holotable game?!
Anakin: *sigh* Obi-Wan wants me to stay out of the battlefield and "meditate" on my mistakes for two weeks, but the clones and I decided to take this time to just blow off some steam and have fun. Look at Hardcase setting his drink on fire, the madman!
Padmé, increasingly concerned: he shouldn't- no, wait, one thing at a time. You said you were very busy this week! Were you just lying?!
Anakin: Technically, I never lied...
**Flashback 1**
Anakin: sorry, love, I'm busy working on a big case. Bye. *hangs up and picks up a beer from a large case full of beers and surrounded by tipsy clones* Whew, that is a big case.
**Flashback 2**
Anakin: Bad time, Padmé. I got to focus on the strategy. Gotta go. Bye. *hangs up and turns to Fives, who's holding a book titled "The Strategy"* Now, where did we stop?
**Flashback 3**
Anakin: Now's not a good time, dear. We've got a lot of balls in the air right now. *hangs up* Jesse, juggling three helmets in the air: Okay sir, now toss me your lightsaber.
**end of flashbacks**
Anakin: *wistfully* oof, Jesse needed a few bacta patches that day...
Padmé: *annoyed* You are unbelievable. *gasps* Wait... when you said you were about to get reamed...
Anakin: *chuckles* Oh, right. That. No, sometimes, for fun, we throw reams of flimsi at each other. *a huge stack of flimsi sheets fly over Anakin's head, crashing onto something behind him* Kix! Not a good time! Read the room!

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I took on an extra job babysitting and haven’t had a lot of time lately.
So this isn’t really a fanfic, more like headcanons of the Batch meeting a female Jedi padawan. I’ve seen headcanons posted and I think I’ll go with a sort of bullet point system for the formatting. I also wanna do 2 different versions. One where the Jedi is a padawan older than Omega and one where she is a Jedi youngling, like an older sister/younger sister headcanon type thing for the Batch and Omega. I hope that makes sense (it’s been a long day) haha. I had a hard time deciding if the fem Jedi would replace Kanan for Hunter’s headcanon, or if he meets both, so I decided on the latter. This is Part 1 (it’s in 2 parts so this post isn’t super long).
Warnings—not really a fic, part 1 of 2, headcanons, contains personal opinions, talk of mental illness, and spoilers for Bad Batch, Clone Wars and Obi-Wan.
So I imagine that the meeting would occur with Hunter being the first Batcher she meets.
About the female padawan:
—Around 15 or so.
—she’d be under the General who fights alongside Howzer and his men.
—strong with the Force but could use some saber practice.
—Escapes Howzer and his men at the order of her Master when the clone and half of his fellow brothers fight against the inhibitor chip while the other half attack/kill the General.
Hunter:
—I think the most likely time Hunter would’ve come across another padawan post-Kanan would be in the Ryloth arc as stated above.
—Hunter would absolutely have PTSD flashbacks of Kanan (Caleb Dume) and Master Bilaba.
—This man would be so conflicted.
—The Padawan, however, would obviously be suspicious and draw her lightsaber.
—Hunter: Easy kid. I’m not gonna hurt you-
—Fem Padawan would remember Howzer and serving along side him and her Jedi Master.
—Conflicted, she slowly lowers the ignited blade.
—Hunter would explain how he and his squad are different, not like the regs.
—I imagine it’s weeks between O66 and the Ryloth arc, so this girl would be malnourished (not as intense as Echo but still noticeable).
—Hunger forces the padawan to go with Hunter.
—After a few weeks of living with the Batch, Hunter becomes the main ‘dad’/father-figure. He sets all the rules.
—Definitely has the ‘you’re not my dad’ argument with the padawan at some point.
—Any arguing is from two stubborn personalities. But Hunter always comes around first to apologize.
—Eventually, the padawan feels comfortable enough to talk about O66 and Howzer with Hunter.
—Is very protective of Hunter not only because he is sergeant, but because she’s gotten attached to him. He reminds her of her master.
Echo:
—Hunter introduces Echo first, not because he is a reg, but because he’s the one with the most experience with padawans (Commander Ahsoka).
—Echo would be unsure and nervous at first.
—Echo: Are you sure Hunter? What if she doesn’t trust me?
—Hunter: Don’t worry. She understands we’re different.
—Echo would be awkward and stutter, introducing himself.
—Hunter: Don’t mind him kid, he’s just a little tightly wound.
—Of course the female padawan would be understanding, but I HC that even through the torture, the padawan would see Echo as a reg.
—Padawan: You’re a reg?
—Echo, in shock, would tell her that he was in Domino Squad, part of the 501st.
—Definitely bonds through war stories. Despite Hunter being the main dad, I think my female padawan would prefer Echo out of the bunch.
—Echo opens up about his PTSD with the Techno Union/Fives’ death and the female padawan with O66 and seeing her master get killed by clones.
—Echo is the one she goes to if she has a problem.
Tech:
—Definitely would analyze her just like he did with Omega when meeting the young clone.
—Hunter: She’s a padawan Tech. She served with Howzer.
—Tech would then state a bunch of facts about Howzer, his general and their success throughout the Clone War.
—Hunter: He’ll talk your ear off with useless information.
—Definitely teacher-dad.
—Is protective of the female padawan but not overly.
—Is the designated medic of the team.
—Tech: Make sure to apply that ointment every 2 hours-
—Padawan: I know Tech-
—Tech: Tell me how you burned yourself again?
—Padawan:…
—Hunter: She grazed herself with her own lightsaber.
Wrecker:
—Most definitely the older brother type like he is with Omega.
—Overprotective
—He would help with the padawan’s training however he could.
—I think, out of everyone, Wrecker would mention Kanan or make comparisons to him.
—Pranks
—Definitely takes her lightsaber to ‘see what it’s like’.
—Honestly I see his relationship with the female padawan just like his with Omega with not much differences.
Omega:
—Definitely excited.
—Omega’s never had a sister before.
—Absolutely looks up to the female padawan and loves watching her explain/use the Force.
—Trains together
—Definitely gangs up on Wrecker for pranks.
—The female padawan is the first one Omega goes to if she has a problem.
—Padawan assures Omega that despite not being a clone, she is her older sister.
Crosshair (cuz he’s still a brother and having a teen Jedi around would be hilarious):
—Hunter introduces the two. Crosshair sends a glare.
—The Padawan eyes Crosshair suspiciously.
—Female padawan is full sass when it comes to Crosshair.
—Definitely makes empty threats to the padawan so she knows he means business when he goes quiet after threatening.
—Primarily avoids the teenager at all costs.
—Has strong, differing opinions about O66.
—Very serious/blunt-going-on-mean with the female padawan
So I think that’s most of my main headcanons on everyone reacting to having a fem Jedi padawan. I use this mostly for self-insert/OC fics that I’m not sure I have the courage to post haha. Part 2 is coming next and about a fem Jedi youngling instead of a padawan.
