🦸🏽ANYTHING on spectre marc after readers death please and thank you i am prepared for pain🫡
You burrowed in to the dark parts - the broken, unlovable parts and made him your home. You dwelled, willingly, in the dejected, despondent substance of his soul. A soulmate.
Pairing: Marc Spector x f!reader (from my fic Spectre), but can be read on its own Word Count: 430 Content: angst, major character death…maybe?
There's a part of Marc that feels more...right when he loses. When he hurts.
See, he knows how deeply flawed he is - certain he doesn't actually deserve love.
This is because he robbed his mother of Randall's love - of her ability to actually love at all.
He destroyed his once happy family
Violence and isolation followed him for the rest of his life, even after Khonshu saved him
Steven and Jake healed him to a degree, made him whole.
Then came you.
But he knew, he always knew that forever with you would exist slightly out of his grasp - there was no way someone as good as you could ever really be his, not eternally.
Still, you loved him so hard, and so good. You burrowed in to the dark parts - the broken, unlovable parts and made him your home. You dwelled, willingly, in the dejected, despondent substance of his soul. A soulmate.
You weren’t there to fix him - you wanted him just how he was, even when he withdrew, when he pushed you away or pulled back. You ebbed and flowed right along with him. He learned to grow with the fluidity of your love.
And god, he adored you. He lived for you. He moved back to the States for you, happily. He cozied up to nosy, small town residents because it made you feel at home. Every time you felt homey or happy or at peace, he felt like he was stacking a building block, restoring the family and the home he once obliterated.
Marriage terrified him. But for you, he wanted to. He saved. He bought you a ring. He almost let himself believe he could have you as a wife.
And right when he thought of how he might propose…when he allowed his dreams to take root in a shred of reality…
…your light was extinguished from the universe.
For no reason at all, you died*. You left.
You didn’t mean to. It wasn’t your fault.
On the day after he buried you, Marc sat down on the floor, in the middle of your bedroom and felt…normal.
He felt the way he’d always been expecting to feel.
This was his life. This was all he would ever have. Ever deserve.
It felt more right to lose. To hurt.
Except...he had begun to believe life with you was more right.
He suddenly had a soul he shared - a mended heart. And a lifetime of love, with no one to give it to.
And that was the moment his heart truly broke.

Creare vita

Hydra MC: Part 2
Masterlist
Bucky Barnes Masterlist
Part 1
Pairing: Bucky Barnes X Female Reader
Warnings: Smut, NON-CON, Abuse and torture, AND FLUFF
Summary: Picking up several years later. Things have changed between Bucky and the reader, but all good things come to an end. Question is, did surviving the HYDRA MC just put off the inevitable or can both Bucky and the reader save one another?
Request for: @saiyanprincessswanie
A/N: WHEW! What a word count! But this is the last one to this small series! I hope it was a nice ride! But seriously, there are graphic depictions of rape in this one so if that isn’t your thing don’t read.
Words: +4,900
___________
The trial of Rumlow and the HYDRA MC had been dubbed the trial of the century, it brought down numerous others who had infiltrated into SHIELD itself. Corruption ran deep into governmental offices and even brought down elected officials but none as prominent as Senator Alexander Pierce. The very senator who spearheaded the Avengers intuitive.
It was a literal nightmare, everyone came under scrutiny but thanks to Director Fury, Y/N wasn’t thrown into a solitary cell on the Raft as well. A thing Bucky had been all to thankful of, especially after having grown attached to Y/N, finding he couldn't live without her.
Stepping into the doorway, he knew she had to be worn out, they had both worked hard. He to finish the yearly test to keep his job as an Avenger while Y/N had to endure much worse to try out for making the team.
Y/N had gone through the trials first, ones where she had to go up against Steve himself. She also made a point to let them all know she was going home to get a shower and rest. It appeared she wasn't kidding.
Stepping to the bed, Bucky had taken a shower and cleaned up at the compound before he came home, which was still within the compound but a quarter of a mile away from the main building and next to Steve and Peggy. Tugging the sheet away from her, Bucky snuggled in close, smiling as she curled into him, fingers scratching along the nape of his neck, she had been furious when he cut his hair but was quick to understand why.
"Steve wear you out doll," Bucky hummed, pushing her gingerly onto her back, finding her lips in the darkness to press his to hers and settle between her spread thighs.
"Hmmm," she hummed into the kiss, not opening her eyes as Bucky wrapped his hand delicately around the base of her skull, always loving and gentle when it came to her.
Breaking the kiss, Bucky ghosted a free hand over the long shirt she wore, gripping plump hip before sliding between her thighs to realize she wore no underwear. Deftly his fingers slid between slick folds, pressing gingerly over delicate nerve to cause her to gasp before he pulled away to grip naked hip once again.
"I thought you wanted to celebrate after you passed training doll," Bucky hummed across her lips as she massaged the nape of his neck and open tired eyes.
"I don't know if I passed. I got my ass handed to me out there," she huffed, all to obvious she was tired.
"No you didn't doll, trust me," he smirked, giving her a knowing look.
"Wait," she paused, coming out of her tired haze to realize what he was telling her. "I passed?"
"Sure did doll," he smiled, shocked as she lunged up to take his lips, this time she was the one pushing him to the mattress to straddle his hips.
Hurriedly she released him, both panting, but for her it was more from excitement. "Welcome to the Avengers sweetheart," Bucky smirked as she sat up, hands wrapping around her face to keep her close.
Tugging her to his lips he paused, "I'm so proud of you doll." Bucky knew she didn't need his praise to feel worthy of the title, but he couldn’t express how he truly felt.
"I know," she hummed, giving his lips a peck. "Let's celebrate." Y/N let out a playful laugh, rutting against the prominent bulge pressing into her exposed core.
Taking her lips again, Bucky reached between them to free himself from the sweats, feeling her move her hips to hover over the leaking tip. "You're such a tease doll," Bucky rasped as her wet core teased over velvet soft tip.
"I know, but you love it," she smiled, sinking painfully slow over him, pushing the breath out of herself the moment her hips settled to his.
"I love you doll," Bucky rasped, hand moving to her hip while the other caressed the nape of her neck pulling her to his lips for a short kiss. "My beautiful sweetheart, I love you more than words can say."
"Then show me," she panted, hands going to the nape of his neck while she slowly rocked her hips, rubbing delicate nerve against him to enhance the feel of his girth throbbing within her.
"Gladly," he sighed, tugging her close to thrust up into her, both becoming a moaning, rutting mess in seconds.
The buzz of a cell phone brought Bucky out of his lucid state of dreaming to look over to the nightstand, having forgotten he placed it there when he came in earlier. Y/N laid on his chest, sound asleep as he moved to see who it was.
Steve, the clock reading 430 am. Tiredly he reached over to answer knowing if he didn't the blonde would be beating down his door. Swiping the answer button Bucky uttered a groggy hello.
"I need you to get down to the compound, now," Steve spoke hurriedly, it was apparent there was something going on.
It took several beats for Bucky to register what Steve was saying, but the urgency in his voice made him sick to his stomach. "Um, yeah, be there in a few. Let me get Y/N up,” Bucky fumbled with the words, though he was sure Steve understood.
"Good, hurry," was all Steve spoke.
"On our way," Bucky uttered, the call ending before he could bring the phone down from his ear. This felt wrong, all kinds of wrong, gently he rubbed a hand over Y/N’s naked back, feeling her stir at the action.
“What’s wrong babe,” came Y/N’s slurred voice from under his chin. She had heard his heart rate pick up, carefully she moved to look up at him, obvious he was trying to process. This was odd to say the least, usually this waited until they went into the compound, Steve rarely called this early, if at all.
"We need to go in for a few doll," Bucky whispered while she nodded in understanding. Bucky looked down at her as she shifted, pressing his lips to hers gently before both stumbled out of bed to tug rumpled clothes before heading out the door.
It made her heart stop; she shouldn't be afraid like this but the news of Rumlow escaping had her heart pounding in her chest and had it not been for Natasha guiding her to a chair Y/N would have fallen out on the floor.
The room swam as Bucky hurried to crouch before her, taking her hand and cupping her jaw with the other. "Hey baby, it's alright," Bucky reassured, Natasha crouching beside her as well trying to keep her calm.
"You would think I would be prepared for this, but-, um-, I’m just not-," Y/N spat out nervously, her free hand going to her throat to tug at the shirt. Carefully Bucky grabbed the hand worrying the fabric, holding it tight as she met his gaze.
She had felt panic, of course, many times, especially when dealing with Rumlow and the gang years ago, but God this felt so different. Holding Bucky’s gaze, she swore her chest was closing shut, a hand carefully rubbing over her shoulders. Oh God she wasn’t breathing!
"Breathe for me doll. He's nowhere near here and if he was we would know," Bucky calmly reassured, looking to Nat then to Y/N. "Nat will go home with you, go pack a bag and meet me back here."
Taking in a shaking breath, she had to pause. What was he talking about? Avengers don’t run and hide; they stand and fight. Nervously she searched Bucky’s face over, he was upset, but not with her.
"I don't want to hide," she whispered, trying not to choke on the lump in her throat. It was anger, not fear, it was anger that was choking her at the fact the bastard had somehow managed to escape. “It should be me to bring the bastard in-.”
Y/N was now grasping at reasons to stay. She knew Steve wouldn’t want her anywhere near the fight due to history with Rumlow. Unfortunately it had taken the team and several doctors a while to help her heal from the psychological damage Rumlow had inflicted. Red rimmed eyes looked to the rest of the team behind Bucky then back to him.
"We know," Nat spoke up, trying to help keep Y/N calm as she turned to look at her, "but you and I are going to take a trip to New York to visit Stark, remember? Not running, we’ve got our own mission that can’t be called off."
Damn, Natasha could be smooth when it came to calming someone down, Bucky feeling a weight lift that he wasn’t going to have to fight Y/N. He seen the look in her eye, she was calming and was beginning to rationalize what needed to be done. Good, this was good. She would be kept safe while they went after Rumlow and got this taken care of.
Nodding with the reasoning, Y/N got to her feet followed by Bucky and Natasha. Slowly Bucky led her to a quiet corner of the room while it appeared Steve and the others were working things through. There were no words, Bucky had failed a promise he made to her years back, he felt helpless.
"Don't Buck," she breathed, meeting his gaze, she knew he was blaming himself for Rumlow escaping, his hand going to the nape of her neck to lay their foreheads together.
"You're my world doll and I failed you-," he breathed, noting her close her eyes and lean heavily into him.
"No you didn't. It just looks like I'm getting that day off sooner than expected. I know it want take the team long," she tried to sooth them both.
"Yeah, you're right. You do need some time off; Steve has worked you like a dog," he laughed giving her a kiss as Nat walked up to escort her back home.
"I'll see you in a few days," Y/N smiled before stepping away with Nat.
Stepping through the busted front door, Bucky’s heart sank to his feet, even more so when spotting Nat laid out on the floor, blood ebbing from a head wound.
"Jesus, Nat," Bucky breathed, lightly patting her cheek for her to stir. Frantically he pressed the comm in his ear, calling for a team to head out and pick her up.
"James-, I’m sorry," Nat choked on drying blood, God she was worse than he thought, noting a hole in the abdomen of the suit the redhead wore, one made to withstand high caliber rounds.
"Hush," he snapped, putting pressure to the wound as it felt like in seconds the med team was pouring in to take his place.
Stumbling drunkenly to his feet, Bucky looked back through the house, blood painted the walls, and it was more than just Nat’s. Hurrying back to their bedroom he noted the state of the bed, blood soaked the sheets, weapons strewn about as someone stepped up behind him letting out a string of curses.
“She’s not here,” Bucky rasped, turning on Steve, he needed to get out of the house, it was stifling as he stumbled out to the back deck, Steve on his heels.
Instantly Steve steadied his friend, looking back to watch the med team getting Nat on a stretcher. Bucky fought him off, facing the blonde who seen the anger and fight in his eyes.
"How the fuck he get in here," Bucky snarled, flinging one of the metal chairs across the lawn, turning to glare at Steve just as his phone rang.
The two looked at the device when Bucky pulled it out, it was Y/N’s number, and hurriedly Bucky put it on speaker. “Hello,” he gritted.
“Well if it isn’t the white knight,” came Rumlow’s gritty voice. “Girls a hell of a fighter.”
The sound of Rumlow’s voice made rage fester in Bucky’s chest, baring his teeth at the phone. “Cut the shit and name your price,” the brunet snarled.
A dark chuckle came over the small speaker to which Rumlow replied, “10 mil, and a piece of her,” was the last said as he hung up.
In moments a text came through, it was a link for a live feed. Nervously Bucky looked to Steve before pressing it. His heart sank the moment it opened up to show his Y/N blindfolded, limbs outstretched and held in place by rope bound to a metal headboard, body bruised and beaten, and wearing only underwear.
Apparently Rumlow could care less if he damaged her body this go around.
“You’re going to scream my name and mine only when I’m done with you,” she could hear Rumlow speak but thanks to the blindfold she couldn’t see. Jolting as the mattress sank at her feet, tugging at the ropes and not meaning to let a whimper escape at the pain it caused her to be stretched like this.
A harsh slap to her thigh made her jolt again, tugging harder and cursing him for all he was worth, the sound of a zipper echoed in her ears. She tried get free as she felt a blade slip under the elastic of her panties but stilled. Quietly he whispered praises as she stilled, cutting her panties and bra free to leave her bare.
“I heard you are an Avenger,” he chuckled at her fruitless efforts, squeezing plump hips painfully, digging short nails into the flesh. “And I heard your fucking one too.”
With a snarl, Y/N finally managed to work a wrist free, grappling for the bastard recklessly, the blindfold falling away. All she could do was watch in horror as Rumlow grabbed the limb, a sick grin on his face as he looked down to her while slamming it into the metal rail she was tied to.
A sickening crack echoed around them, instantly making her sick as she cried out in pain. She tried to fling curses but all that came was pained whimpers, she had never had a broken bone before, this was more painful than expected, meeting Rumlow’s lust blown gaze.
“Damn baby look what you made me do,” he huffed with a dark laugh, not giving Y/N time to recover. While keeping the injured limb in his grasp, Rumlow lined up with exposed core to press into her unprepared body, making her cry out again.
Fighting the tears, Y/N didn’t want to give the bastard the satisfaction, but unfortunately the pain from the broken limb was overwhelming when coupled with the feel of him thrusting between her legs. It felt as if he was ripping apart her insides, setting her entire body on fire with excruciating pain.
Y/N had fought him tooth and nail, her stomach beginning to lurch at the fact she was going to possibly die like this, a splayed out, screaming mess.
Viciously his hips snapped into hers sending waves of pain with each thrust, throat screamed raw and only managing weak whimpers as her head lulled. Trying to stay conscious, Y/N was only managing weak gurgles now. Blood thick on her tongue as he laughed at her, the last sound she heard before passing out.
“Cut it off,” Bucky snarled at Fury who turned the phone over.
“10 mil,” Fury huffed looking to Steve and Bucky. “You know my hands are tied-. We can’t-.”
Bucky advanced on the director as he sat behind the desk, Steve trying to grab the other to stop him, slamming his fist down on the desk as he glared at Fury. “We have to! Her testimony, all she has done to help convict the entire gang and several others we can’t just throw her to the wolves.” Bucky snarled.
“Don’t you think I know that,” Fury snapped back, “but you know they will not allow us to negotiate!”
“Fuck them and you,” Bucky snarled back, jerking away from Steve and storming out of the room, slamming the door.
“Hey,” Fury yelled after Bucky, getting to his feet at the door slammed shut.
Quickly Fury circled the table pushing something into Steve’s hand. “We can’t,” Fury stressed, hinting Steve go after Bucky. Nodding he understood, Steve hurried out, looking at the card that read Stark Industries.
“Hmm,” Brock smirked as Y/N sat up in a thankfully clean bed, propped on fluffy pillows that supported her broken body. She had lost count over the past several days of how often he had abused her, cradling her broken but set arm close. “You’ve turned into quite a pistol kitten.”
God she despised when he called her that, it made her sick. Watching Rumlow out of her peripheral as he reached out to touch her, refusing to flinch away. There was only so much her body could take despite the pain meds Rumlow was sure to push through her veins after returning from some hack job who sat the broken ulna and radius to wrap it in a plaster cast.
Carefully, Rumlow took the wrist of her uninjured arm to look over the bandages he had placed after the zip ties had cut deep furrows into the flesh. He made sure they were changed and kept clean, especially seeing he was getting ready to take her Bucky.
This had been a vicious cycle since he grabbed her, Rumlow would beat, rape, then treat her like a china doll afterwards. He had even brought her new clothes, tags still in place, Y/N suspected one of the goons who were sure to stay out of her room got them.
Eyeing the new clothing, she ventured to look at him, who hinted she stand. Lovingly and sickly, the bastard helped her to achy feet, her left hip was killing her along with her lower back, making her hobble.
"Easy kitten, I gotcha," he sighed as if he truly cared for her. Gingerly he helped her out of the long shirt, lifting the cast above her head had her stifling whimpers, forcing back tears as it seemed the meds were wearing off.
Possessively Brock groped her plump, bruised side before reaching to place a bra on her followed by a t-shirt. The man's sick smile made her want to vomit, or that could be the pain as he held her pants so she could place her legs into them, and he pulled them up. Carefully he ushered her to sit back on the mattress, draping his old leather jacket around her shoulders to keep warm.
Kneeling in front of her, he placed socks on her feet followed by a pair of short top boots, new as well. He was dressing her like a doll, troubled gaze meeting his darker one as he straightened, looking her bruised cheek over, leaning forward so his lips hovered over hers.
Rumlow continued to baby her, even as one of the goons stepped in with a bag in hand. “My beautiful girl,” he spoke across split lips he had cleaned. Wrapping a hand around Y/N’s bruised jaw to stop her from pulling away, the bastard deepened the kiss, forcing his tongue over hers quickly before releasing.
She seen him look over her shoulder, heard the other step close and hand over a ball gag. “Open,” he ordered, Y/N doing so begrudgingly as he took care not to pull her hair as it was fastened.
“Good girl,” he praised before a black bag was forced over her head and he tugged her gingerly to her feet.
The scrape of metal on metal had Bucky looking to the back entrance of the old building, nothing in the burned-out shell but he and whomever the one other was entering with Rumlow and Y/N. Bucky automatically noted her limp and broken arm as Rumlow tugged her via cuffs that appeared too tight around bandaged wrists.
Bucky didn’t come alone, that wasn’t part of the deal, he had brought Steve and Sam with him, as well as a few other surprises if Rumlow didn’t hand over his girl.
His gut twisted as they paused before him, the bag jerked off her head, a ball gag in her mouth. Without hesitation, Bucky started for her only for Rumlow to draw a gun and place it to her temple.
“Money first pretty boy,” he sneered as Bucky held the case up to open it to reveal the money.
“It’s all there,” he admitted as the one with them stepped forward to take the case, looking over the contents, nodding it was correct.
“Well, looks like I get the money and the girl,” Brock smirked dragging Y/N back with him, gun to her temple as she thrashed.
Sam and Steve drew guns as did the one with Rumlow. “I will hunt you down,” Bucky snarled, stepping forward, this time Rumlow cocked the pistol and pressed it harder to the side of her head as he continued out of the building.
“I know. But if your smart and you really love her you want,” he snipped before she slipped his grasp and a team that wasn’t SHIELD stormed into the building behind Bucky, Sam and Steve.
Quickly Rumlow rushed forward to wrap a hand in her shirt, jerking her back and dragging her out of the building to fling into the pickup she and him arrived in. Violently she kicked at him when he got into the driver’s side, but it only got her pistol whipped for her troubles.
Slumping against the passenger door, she tried to steady her spinning head. They were speeding down a back road, it was blurry, it made her sick as he swerved, looking over in time to watch as he rammed Bucky and his motorcycle off the embankment.
That was sobering, it was odd how it happened so quickly. Clear gaze locking onto the bastard to muster one last fight, grabbing for the wheel to jerk the truck over. It was a top-heavy vehicle, it should roll, that will stop this.
The pounding in her ears drowned out Rumlow’s cursing, feeling the truck turn sharply before it tipped to its side. It only tumbled over to its top, but it was enough, cracking her head on the glass, this time she was knocked out.
Grabby hands tugged her shirt tight, weakly she fought and whimpered for them to stop. Feeling the gag and cuffs gone. Trying to fight them off with her broken arm she cried out in pain as they finally spoke.
“Easy doll, it's me,” Bucky huffed, collapsing to the dirt with her, his left arm lifeless at his side while his right one wrapped around her to hold tight.
“Bucky,” she rasped, wrapping her good arm around his torso, looking up at his bloodied face, getting ready to look around for Rumlow.
“Look at me,” Bucky barked out, but it was too late, she seen Rumlow’s lifeless body sprawled in the road, though she could barely see due to blurred sight. Still she looked back to Bucky, slumping further into his mangled body, feeling her shoulders shake. “I gotcha baby, it's over, promise.”
This time Bucky knew it was over, he had blown the top of Rumlow’s head clean off, scattered brains all over the highway. Looking back to the body, then to the headlights that were coming closer, sirens blaring.
“Natasha,” she whimpered, moving to her shaky knees to wrap her trembling hands around his face. The broken limb shaking, she didn’t care, she had to touch him.
“Fine, she will recover in no time,” he smiled, her trembling lips pressing to his before pulling away.
Damn she felt lightheaded, more so now as she realized he wasn’t using his left arm at all. Looking to the lifeless limb it was mangled beyond recognition and he was losing blood. Meeting his gaze worriedly, he tried to reassure her it was OK, but darkness began to creep in on her vision before her body gave out and fell into Bucky’s.
The pop of a wooden chair greeted her as she slowly came too. Opening her eyes to focus on someone standing next to the bed, almost over her and making her worry it had been all a dream. Y/N blinked several times as Steve came into view, the sterile white of the room told her she was in a hospital.
“Oh thank God,” she breathed, trying to move but Steve was quick to stop her.
“Just be still, you're safe. They had to take Bucky to surgery, he just came out and is fine,“ Steve reassured as she relaxed back to the bed, noting her arm in a sling that hung loosely around her neck.
“Can I see him,” she asked, and as if on que Natasha limped in pushing a wheelchair.
Giving the redhead a smirk, Steve looked between the two women. “I don’t see why not.”
It felt like it took forever for them to get Y/N in the chair, having realized they had been brought to the compound med bay. That was good, they had a state-of-the-art facility, so if anything went wrong they were in the best hands.
Steve took over pushing Y/N out of the room and just one door down. It appeared she and Bucky were in ICU, Natasha at her side and holding her hand as they entered the room were Bucky appeared asleep.
Her heart stopped as her eyes landed on the bandaged stump of his left arm. Good hand going to her mouth as she realized what it meant, unable to stifle a quiet sob that was cut short as Steve stopped her next to the bed, the hand reaching out to touch Bucky’s covered thigh.
She could do nothing but look up at Bucky, willing him to open his eyes but the look of the bags hanging from his own bed appeared to be keeping him asleep at the moment.
“He came out of surgery less than fifteen minutes ago,” Natasha spoke, “they said he came too long enough to ask about you before they had to put him back out due to pain.”
Sorely Nat took the seat that next to the bed and the wheelchair, laying a hand on Y/N’s knee. Worriedly she looked to the redhead as Steve came to kneel next to her.
“Fury put you both off the team until further notice,” Steve began, noting her nod before he continued. “The doctors said he will recover fully, just minus the limb, but you know Tony Stark will be on top of it in no time.”
She gave a smile, yeah she did, Tony was leading prosthetics at the moment as well as experimental tech.
“We just want you both to get better,” Natasha spoke up, getting Y/N’s attention as she relaxed back into the wheelchair.
“Were both stubborn, we will be OK,” Y/N smiled, rubbing her hand over Bucky’s thigh. Momentarily her stomach twisted painfully hard making eyes narrow.
“What’s wrong,” Nat asked, moving to check the IV that hung from her chair.
“Nothing, my stomachs just hurting a little,” Y/N admitted, though now she didn’t feel too well. Could it be meds? The fact she possibly hasn’t ate well in the past few days.
“This isn’t a stomachache,” Steve spoke, getting to his feet to call a nurse.
In moments Y/N was wheeled out, the doctor ordering her to surgery due to possible complications from the broken arm. It was a chaotic mess as she was rushed into the OR and put out in seconds.
Waking like before, except it was a metallic squeak that greeted her. A hand wrapping the one laying at her side gave a gentle and familiar squeeze. Slowly eyes fluttered open to look over into steel blue that held the excitement of a puppy. Bucky smiled widely at her, sitting in a wheelchair this time at her bedside.
“Hey doll,” he spoke, keeping her gaze for a moment, or that was until she moved and realized the broken arm was lifted in a sling hanging from the ceiling. Giving the limb a quick once over, she seen the pins sticking out of the bandages.
“Take it easy,” he said as she turned back to him, “they just brought you out of surgery. The break caused an infection, they decided to place pins in it to be sure it healed properly.”
Y/N gave a tired smile, just happy he was there. “You look good for someone who was thrown off a cliff,” she croaked, squeezing his hand, Bucky shuffling to his feet to sit sorely on the edge of the gurney.
“I didn’t go off the edge,” he admitted, releasing her hand to caress over rashed and bruised jaw, smiling as she leaned into it. “I spun out, but my left arm-. It's fine, I got you back.”
Bucky gave a proud smile, leaning close to nuzzle at her nose. He knew her lips were sore and doubted she realized they were stitched in several places. “We will be OK doll,” he reassured, caressing along her neck, careful of bruises and cuts, gingerly laying his lips to hers in a delicate kiss.
“I know, you got me,” she laughed weakly, the two staying close as long as their ruined bodes would allow.
“Yeah, all that matters is I got my girl back,” he smirked as the doctor entered to check on the both of them.

NGC 2170: Angel Nebula Still Life Image Credit & Copyright: Juan Lozano de Haro
Explanation: Is this a painting or a photograph? In this classic celestial still life composed with a cosmic brush, dusty nebula NGC 2170, also known as the Angel Nebula, shines near the image center. Reflecting the light of nearby hot stars, NGC 2170 is joined by other bluish reflection nebulae, a red emission region, many dark absorption nebulae, and a backdrop of colorful stars. Like the common household items that still life painters often choose for their subjects, the clouds of gas, dust, and hot stars featured here are also commonly found in this setting -- a massive, star-forming molecular cloud in the constellation of the Unicorn (Monoceros). The giant molecular cloud, Mon R2, is impressively close, estimated to be only 2,400 light-years or so away. At that distance, this canvas would be over 60 light-years across.

Fernando Torres should be remembered as a Liverpool legend – at Anfield he was Europe’s best
April 8, 2008. A ferocious Champions League quarter-final at Anfield between Liverpool and Arsenal was ebbing and flowing, as it reached the 69th minute.
This might have been the last eight of Europe's top competition but it was being played with no-holds barred intensity of a Premier League collision.
The score was poised at 1-1 (2-2 on aggregate) when a Peter Crouch flick-on arrived at the feet of Liverpool's number nine in the Kop End penalty area.
Fernando Torres seared into the hearts and minds of Liverpool fans with breathtaking goals
Torres scored a vital goal as Liverpool beat Arsenal in the 2008 Champions League quarters
TORRES 'CAREER GOALS:
A tletico Madrid – 111
Liverpool – 81
Chelsea – 45
AC Milan – 1
Spain – 60
Suddenly, it felt like time had stood still. Fernando Torres, a picture of calm in the mayhem, took one touch, then another and another.
Before everyone realized what was happening, he had rifled a right-footed drive into the roof of Manuel Almunia's net to spark a noise that made the stage shake.
The goal was easily recalled without the need to watch it on YouTube. The best of the best separate themselves by doing things on a football pitch that is sear into your memory and during a golden spell on Merseyside that is what Torres was: the best of the best.
It was a dream start for Torres, who scored a sublime goal on his Anfield debut vs Chelsea
He was the most feared central striker in Europe when he played for Liverpool. This observer has chosen that Arsenal goal as a personal favorite, but in truth, there were another 10 or 15 instances that could have been used as examples.
There was the debut strike at Anfield, for instance, when he wrapped Chelsea defender Tal Ben-Haim up in club before finishing like an assassin. The muggings of Nemanja Vidic at Old Trafford and Rio Ferdinand at Anfield; goals to settle Merseyside derbies, an astonishing strike against Blackburn.
Torres was the first signing that Liverpool made when you felt they were moving into a different level: here was a player everyone in Europe wanted but Rafa Benitez won the day, shattering the club record transfer fee, to sign him from Atletico Madrid for more than £ 20million.
His career, or course, was more than just those years at Anfield. He is loved unconditionally by Atletico supporters following his two spells there; he played for Chelsea and won a raft of honors, including the Champions League, but the fit was never the same. Blue was never his color.
Red, by contrast, suited him down to the ground. The first test for him – as it was for any new signing – came in training. Xabi Alonso, for example, endeared himself immediately to his team mates in 2004 with the way the first pass he swept away, clean and precise.
The Spaniard famously had many iconic duels with Nemanja Vidic and often came out on top
TORRES 'TROPHY CABINET:
World Cup – 2010
European Championship – 2008, 2012
Champions League – 2011-12
Europa League – 2012-13, 2017-18
FA Cup – 2011-12
With Torres, a coming together with Jamie Carragher that set the benchmark. During a training game, the pair went up for a header. Torres thundered into Carragher and put the defender on the floor. Rather than picking Carragher up to assess the damage, Torres carried on. Carragher loved it.
"Here was a winner," Carragher remarked. 'Here was someone who wanted to go to war for us. I thought it was brilliant. "
That first year was incredible. He broke records, became an icon and finished the campaign by scoring the goal – a beautiful dinked finish – in Vienna that made Spain European Champions; six months later, he finished third in the Ballon d'Or voting. Lionel Messi was first. Cristiano Ronaldo was second. This was the company he was keeping.
Critics used to say he couldn't use his left foot but Torres didn't need to when his right-foot was so good. He was quick, he was slick and 'the lad from sunny Spain', as the Kop sang, would get the ball and score again and again. He looked like someone who was destined to rewrite record books.
The problem was, though, injuries slowed him down and the turbulence that erupted around Anfield as the disastrous Thomas Hicks and George Gillett reign disintegrated left him disenchanted.
Torres formed a telepathic and unstoppable partnership with Steven Gerrard on Merseyside
The two then became rivals as Torres broke the hearts of Liverpool fans and joined Chelsea
It was a travesty that Torres never won a medal at Anfield. It was something he was desperate to achieve.
"We were not far away from being champions of England and champions of Europe," Torres said in the book Ring of Fire. "But we needed to keep the team. Everything changed when the owners started talking about selling.
'The mindset of the club went in a different direction. Alonso was sold, Mascherano was sold, Benítez went too. Not all of the money went into new players. The club was saying "We still want to be the best and we want to win" but doing the opposite. "
Torres is a private individual and during the final chapter at Anfield, it became more and more withdrawn.
Fenway Sports Group took over elsewhere in time in October 2010 and three months later he was at Stamford Bridge, sold for £ 50million.
Torres left Liverpool just as Luis Suarez signed, meaning the two never got to play together
The 35 -year-old will probably go down in history as one of Atletico Madrid's greatest ever players
The animosity between Liverpool and Chelsea meant, in the eyes of many fans, he had performed some kind of betrayal and views of him were colored accordingly. He was mad every time he returned to Merseyside and it was all so very sad. Be in no doubt how much it hurt.
His career has come to an end and you wonder whether there will be a point in the future when Torres comes back to play for Liverpool's legends. He should do. Torres, at a peak that didn't last as long as it should have done, was one of the best The Kop had seen.
Like those picture book goals he could score, it should never be forgotten.

Something about dates, numbers and Archons
So, I got interested in “how long some of the known Archons served/lived” during the timeline (and I think nobody has done it yet? Idk), and got a little research and gathered some information in one place (it’s not a lot, actually + some of that information is already known), maybe someone will be interested (Everything of that is just “numbers” and “dates” speculations). Probably lots of text(?).
Archons with numbers (that was mentioned and what I could find):
- Bleden Mark, Archon of Shadows (The earliest mention: ??? TR; the latest mention: 431 TR) mentioned that he was a normal human about 300 years ago, before becoming an Overlord’s assassin. The exact age is unknown.
- Thousand Ambers, the first mentioned Archon of Fire (The earliest mention: 26 TR; the latest mention: 73 TR) was born in 26 TR and assasinated by Bleden Mark in 73 TR, which makes him 47 years old when he died.
- The Orphan Midwife, Archon of Rebirth (The earliest mention: 160 TR; the latest mention: 431 TR) born in 160 TR, but still lives during 431 TR, imprisoned by Kyros, which makes her 271 years old during the game events.
Nox Mirea, Archon of Pestilence (The earliest mention: ??? TR; the latest mention: ??? (431) TR) Rhogalus mentions that she died at the age of 20. The date of her birth and death is unknown.
- Cairn, Archon of Stone (The earliest mention: 402 TR; the latest mention: 431 TR) the age is unknown. Was serving Kyros for 28 years since 402 TR and until 430 TR (during Conquest; +1 year after the Edict of Stone = 29 years).
- Graven Ashe, Archon of War (The earliest mention: 330 TR; the latest mention: 431) the age is unknown, but he was serving Kyros for 101 years since 330 TR. (Possibly Amelia and Brennix were born after he became an Archon, according to their age. The date of birth and death of the other two of his children are unknown).
- The Voices of Nerat, Archon of Secrets (The earliest mention: 330 TR; the latest mention: 431 TR) was mentioned alongside with Ashe, when he destroyed his forces. Older then him, since he has known the previous Archon of War pretty well (maybe, or maybe not).
- Pox, Archon of Ruin (The earliest mention: 330 TR; the latest mention: 431 TR) was mentioned alongside with Nerat and Ashe too, but she already had an army by that time, which she disbanded. The age is unknown.
- Tunon, Archon of Justice (The earliest mention: ??? TR; the latest mention: 431 TR) the eldest of living Archons (the ones who work for Kyros), mentioned that he was born centuries ago, “before the dream of a unified Northern Empire was fully realized”. But was serving Kyros for nearly ~400 years.
- Occulted Jade, Archon of Tides (The earliest mention: ??? TR; the latest mention: 431 TR) the eldest known (and living, of course) Tiersman and Archon. Sailed with the first settlers at Five Wives, but exact date is unknown. Eb mentions that the School of Tides was living for nearly five centuries. ("Our patron, Occulted Jade, Archon of Tides is as old as the settlers of the Five Wives, and for nearly five centuries we were masters of the coasts and the rivers. These days, it's a school of one, you're looking at it.") Really rough and possible date of foundation of School of Tides: -69 TR.
- Sirin, Archon of Song (The earliest mention: ???; the latest mention: 431 TR) 15 years old, according to official information. Counting, she was (probably?) born in 416 TR.
- Kyros The Overlord (The earliest mention: -50 TR; the latest mention: 431 TR) the age is unknown. Visited a Spire in -50 TR, and, counting from that date, it was 481 years since that.

281J Early 15th century Homiliary
{Homiliarius doctorum qui omiliarius dici solet … Hieronymi Augustini, Ambrosii, Jo. Chrysostomi, Gregorii, Origenis, Bede et complures ..}?
St Augustine (354- 430), John Christomos (349-407) St Benedict , Pope Leo I(440-61) ( and others)
For this collection of Homilies, who was the editor is not certain, and while traditionally it is attributed to Paul the Deacon approximately 720-799 There is also supposition that it was collected by Alcuin or even Bede.
What we do know is that the production of Homiliary began in the 780s when Charlemagne (742/743–814) appointed Paul the Deacon to compose a Homiliary. Charlemagne,” has been represented as the sponsor or even creator of medieval education, and the Carolingian renaissance has been represented as the renewal of Western culture. This renaissance, however, built on earlier episcopal and monastic developments, and, although Charlemagne did help to ensure the survival of scholarly traditions in a relatively bleak and rude age, there was nothing like the general advance in education that occurred
later with the cultural awakening of the 11th and 12th centuries. Learning, nonetheless, had no more ardent friend than Charlemagne, who came to the Frankish throne in 768 distressed to find extremely poor education systems” [EB] “Charlemagne stands out as the personification of everything that is unselfish and noble, a conqueror who visualized himself as the champion of European unity with the purpose of saving Europe through imperial conquest—an evangelist with a sword. As it turns out, Charlemagne did see himself as the Conqueror of everything pagan and heterodox and the divinely destined builder of Augustine’s City of God—of “one God, one emperor, one pope, one city of God.”[2] It was as if Charlemagne consciously sought to fulfill Plato’s vision of the ideal philosopher king. After all, Europe badly needed a conquering strong man like David of old, who could exercise wisdom and discernment in the sustainment of God’s new Jerusalem on earth.” [Gregory W. Hamilton ;http://nrla.com/charlemagne-and-the-vision-of-a-christian-empire/]N
So, We do know that ” From a very early time the Homilies of the Fathers were in high esteem, and were read in connection with the recitation of the Divine Office. That the custom was as old as the sixth century we know since St. Gregory the Great refers to it, and St. Benedict mentions it in his rule (Pierre Batiffol, History of the Roman Breviary, 107). This was particularly true of the homilies of Pope St. Leo I, very terse and peculiarly suited to liturgical purposesThis particular Homilarium Begins [folio cxli] with Ambrose (340-397) Homilies for the Quadragesima (forty days of Lent -Yes lent is longer than 40 days even though there are more 40 days from Ash Wednesday to Easter. ( counting the days of Lent excluding its Sundays and the Sacred Triduum, which technically is a separate sacred time.) This takes up to folio 224 (cclxxiiii). Following St Ambrose who has iv sermons in this section are sermons by Origen, Bede , John Chrystosom Cyrill , Augustine , Peter Chrysologus Archbishop of Ravenna , Alcuin of York .
After the Quadragesima series begins the Homilies for The Passion of Christ (Holy Week) On Palm Sunday, Jesus and his disciples spent the night in Bethany, a town about two miles east of Jerusalem. This is where Lazarus, whom Jesus had raised from the dead, and his two sisters, Mary and Martha lived. They were close friends of Jesus, and probably hosted Him and His disciples during their final days in Jerusalem.
This section (folios 141-245 )of Homilies begins at Quadragesima see above.
Then Holy Week/Passione homilies occupy folios 246-312.
Augustine of Hippo (13 November 354 – 28 August 430 AD) ,Gregory (3 September 590 to 12 March 604 AD) , Pope Leo (440-416 AD), Chrystomos (347–407)
Next in course is Palm Sunday “Dominica in ramis palmarum folios 313-337
Abbot Bernard (1090-1153), Pope Leo (440–461), Cyprian (200-258) , Chrystomos(347-407) Ambrose: (c339-397)
The final leaf is Easter Saturday (Sabbato sancto pasche)
Probably the first 140 leaves made up Homiletic commentaries on the Old Testament: the Hexaemeron (Six Days of Creation); De Helia et ieiunio (On Elijah and Fasting); De Iacob et vita beata (On Jacob and the Happy Life); De Abraham; De Cain et Abel; De Ioseph (Joseph); De Isaac vel anima (On Isaac, or The Soul); De Noe (Noah); De interpellatione Iob et David (On the Prayer of Job and David); De patriarchis (On the Patriarchs); De Tobia (Tobit); Explanatio psalmorum (Explanation of the Psalms); Explanatio symboli (Commentary on the Symbol).
Saint Augustine:
Peter Chrysologus:
(c. 380 – c. 450) Archbishop of Ravenna, approximately 400-450 , The earliest printed work by Chrysologus is 1575 Insigne et pervetvstvm opvs homiliarum. He is known as the “Doctor of Homilies” for the concise but theologically rich reflections he delivered during his time as the Bishop of Ravenna. His surviving works offer eloquent testimony to the Church’s traditional beliefs about Mary’s perpetual virginity, the penitential value of Lent, Christ’s Eucharistic presence, and the primacy of St. Peter and his successors in the Church. Few details of St. Peter Chrysologus’ biography are known. He was born in the Italian town of Imola in either the late fourth or early fifth century, but sources differ as to whether this occurred around 380 or as late as 406.
John Chrystosom
Beyond Chrstostoms preaching, the other lasting legacy of John is his influence on Christian liturgy. Two of his writings are particularly notable. He harmonized the liturgical life of the Church by revising the prayers and rubrics of the Divine Liturgy, or celebration of the Holy Eucharist. To this day, Eastern Orthodox and Eastern Catholic Churches of the Byzantine Rite typically celebrate the Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom as the normal Eucharistic liturgy, although his exact connection with it remains a matter of debate among experts.
Saint Cyrill.
Cyril’s jurisdiction over Jerusalem was expressly confirmed by the First Council of Constantinople (381), at which he was present. At that council he voted for acceptance of the term homoousios,(“consubstantial” this term was later also applied to the Holy Spirit in order to designate it as being “same in essence” with the Father and the Son. Those notions became cornerstones of theology in Nicene Christianity, and also represent one of the most important theological concepts within the Trinitarian doctrinal understanding of God) having been finally convinced that there was no better alternative. Cyril’s writings are filled with the loving and forgiving nature of God which was somewhat uncommon during his time period. Cyril fills his writings with great lines of the healing power of forgiveness and the Holy Spirit, like “The Spirit comes gently and makes himself known by his fragrance. He is not felt as a burden for God is light, very light. Rays of light and knowledge stream before him as the Spirit approaches. The Spirit comes with the tenderness of a true friend to save, to heal, to teach, to counsel, to strengthen and to console”. Cyril himself followed God’s message of forgiveness many times throughout his life. This is most clearly seen in his two major exiles where Cyril was disgraced and forced to leave his position and his people behind. He never wrote or showed any ill will towards those who wronged him. Cyril stressed the themes of healing and regeneration in his catechesis. the well-known Catechetical Lectures of St. Cyril of Jerusalem, to explain them to the catechumens during the latter part of Lent
Holy God, you gather the whole universe into your radiant presence and continually reveal your Son as our Savior. Bring healing to all wounds, make whole all that is broken, speak truth to all illusion, and shed light in every darkness, that all creation will see your glory and know your Christ. Amen.
St. Gregory the Great (ca. 540-604).
Alcuin of York : Flaccus Albinus Alcuinus; c. 735 – 19 May 804 AD)—also called Ealhwine, Alhwin or Alchoin—was an English scholar, clergyman, poet and teacher from York, Northumbria. He was born around 735 and became the student of Archbishop Ecgbert at York. At the invitation of Charlemagne, he was a leading scholar and teacher at the Carolingian court, where he remained a figure in the 780s and ’90s.
Alcuin wrote many theological and dogmatic treatises, as well as a few grammatical works and a number of poems. He was made Abbot of Tours in 796, where he remained until his death. “The most learned man anywhere to be found”, according to Einhard‘s Life of Charlemagne (ca. 817-833), he is considered among the most important architects of the Carolingian Renaissance. Among his pupils were many of the dominant intellectuals of the Carolingian era
Origen :Origen of Alexandria ( c. 184 – c. 253)
Origen, most modest of writers, hardly ever alludes to himself in his own works; but Eusebius has devoted to him almost the entire sixth book of “Ecclesiastical History”. Eusebius was thoroughly acquainted with the life of his hero; he had collected a hundred of his letters; in collaboration with the martyr Pamphilus he had composed the “Apology for Origen”; he dwelt at Caesarea where Origen’s library was preserved, and where his memory still lingered; if at times he may be thought somewhat partial, he is undoubtedly well informed. We find some details also in the “Farewell Address” of St. Gregory Thaumaturgus to his master, in the controversies of St. Jerome and Rufinus, in St. Epiphanius (Haeres., LXIV), and in Photius (Biblioth. Cod. 118).

Roll20, primeros pasos
/me rolls for ?{Habilidad|ataque} /r 1t[feat] + ?{Número de D6|0}t[@{selected|weary}]
/me rolls for ?{Habilidad|ataque} /r 1t[feat] + ?{Número de D6|0}t[normal]
/me rolls for ?{Habilidad|ataque} /r 1t[feat] + ?{Número de D6|0}t[weary]
/me rolls best of 2 feat dice for ?{Habilidad|ataque} /r {2t[feat]}k1 + ?{Número de D6|0}t[@{selected|weary}]
/me rolls worst of 2 feat dice for ?{Habilidad|ataque} /r {2t[feat]}kl1 + ?{Número de D6|0}t[@{selected|weary}]
Grábala y selecciona “Show as Token Action”.

Graba y selecciona 'Show as Token Action’. Repite los pasos para cada arma.
lm_attack_1
/em @{selected|character_name} strikes at @{target|character_name} with the @{selected|weapon_skill_name_1} vs. /desc TN 0} + @{target|parry} + @{target|shield} &{template:default} {{name=@{selected|weapon_skill_name_1}}} {{Damage=@{selected|weapon_damage_1}}} {{Edge = @{selected|weapon_edge_1}}} {{Injury=@{selected|weapon_injury_1}}} {{Called Shot = @{selected|weapon_called_shot_1}}} {{Damage Bonus = @{selected|attribute_level}}} {{Favoured = @{selected|weapon_favoured_1}}} /r 1t[lm-feat] + @{selected|weapon_rating_1}t[@{selected|bar1}] +weapon_favoured_1} * @{selected|attribute_level}
lm_attack_2
/em @{selected|character_name} strikes at @{target|character_name} with the @{selected|weapon_skill_name_2} vs. /desc TN 0} + @{target|parry} + @{target|shield} &{template:default} {{name=@{selected|weapon_skill_name_2}}} {{Damage=@{selected|weapon_damage_2}}} {{Edge = @{selected|weapon_edge_2}}} {{Injury=@{selected|weapon_injury_2}}} {{Called Shot = @{selected|weapon_called_shot_2}}} {{Damage Bonus = @{selected|attribute_level}}} {{Favoured = @{selected|weapon_favoured_2}}} /r 1t[lm-feat] + @{selected|weapon_rating_2}t[@{selected|bar1}] +weapon_favoured_2} * @{selected|attribute_level}
lm_protection
/em @{selected|character_name} rolls for Protection vs. /desc TN ?{Injury|0} /r 1t[lm-feat] + @{selected|armour}t[@{selected|bar1}] + armour_favoured} * @{selected|attribute_level}
Vete a Roll20 y abre tu partida.
