So at my work we sell calico critters which are near and dear to my heart, and I've also been super into Trigun Stampede lately, so naturally my brain gave me this wonderful concoction that I had to draw and share with you all.
Also because my coworker suggested it, I made them into stickers! Links below :) Vash sticker Wolfwood sticker

I just don't believe anyone reposting those lists about "here's 15+ different places with Problems going on (just like palestine!!)" knows or cares enough to be able to explain what's happening in more than 1/4 of them in anything approaching the depth appropriate to doing the topic justice

Your art is so cute, but I can't find your username(s) on AO3. Where can I read the Immortal AU?
MNBSJWHWJ WELL,
Immortal au currently does not have a fanfic! It might one day, but for now the story is told through nonlinear comics, rambles and drabbles
You are more than welcome to ask stuff about it if you'd like to read more, I tend to ramble a lot when prompted to

This has probably been done before but whatever!
Avatar The Last Airbender but Hama managed to get back to the Southern Water Tribe.
It took some time to perfect bloodbending enough to escape but better late than never. After a couple of days she stumbled across a small town. The people were kind. Fed her, gave her clothes and even had a job ready for when she regained her strength.
Disgusting. Their spices and seasoning made her throat burn much like the air in her recent prison. Shades of red all over her body just the lashes they gave her and her people. A job...HA, they'll work her until she sweats blood...
She hates that she can't look any of them in the eye. Hates how the mere yellow of the flowers reminds her of the gleeful expression the guards had when punishing her. She hates how her body flinches and quivers when a child uses her bending to light a candle.
Disgusting.
It takes 2 weeks until she's healthy enough. It takes another until the moon is full. She certainly won't be going hungry for quite some time on her journey home.
After years of travelling she's built up a reputation for herself. The Puppeteer. Most places think of her as a spirit or vengeful ghost. But the places she lingered at know better, even after all these years some of those towns still have curfews.
After years of travelling she's gotten even better at her craft. She hopes that by the time she get's back home there'll be few little benders running around for her to teach.
Finally she's back. The tribe is joyous when she returns. A miracle they proclaim. She's dressed in her missed furs and blues, fed meals she dreamed of and tried recreating but alas it could never beat the real thing. It's wonderful to see old and new faces but sadly there are no more benders...the good news is that Kanna has a son now!
Decades go by and finally a bender is born! Kanna's granddaughter. Finally she has someone to carry on her work, and so eagerly too! Little Katara simply can't wait to train with Auntie Hama.

just wanna watch the football this summer but I know we’re gonna have to see post after post as to why “this country is more problematic than this country therefore they don’t deserve to win!🤓”
that emoji pls😭 and exactly!! sports are political without a doubt & drawing attention to certain issues are one thing… but these ppl using serious things as a gotcha or trying to paint this picture of one country being “less problematic” than another in order to gain support for a football result?? that’s crazy and so insensitive😭 most of the time these ppl aren’t educated enough on the country & are most likely going off of a hasty search to fuel an agenda… same during club football.
i’ve said it a millionnnn times…it’s all so disingenuous. ppl care more about the image of being a good person rather than actually being one and caring abt issues they use for post engagement….im so tired of it😩

I'm going to be really sad about losing a bunch of my art supplies/pieces so if that's not your thing, feel free to scroll by.
Nothing like going out to the garage to get some wood for your upcoming projects only to find there had been a leak, water pooled on the floor beneath the boxes in your work area, and had ruined a bunch of the wood you'd been painstakingly collecting for carving for years.
The irony: most of the wood that was ok? Common basswood that's easily replaced. It was mostly my rarer woods that were ruined.
Cherry, maple, walnut, cedar, buckeye. Woods with beautiful grains. Precious butternut that's going extinct. Gifts from my wood carving teacher and mystery wood castoffs from other woodworkers who didn't need them. Odd shapes and pieces I had plans for. Gone. Everything in this pic, from what's inside the box to what's in the can (some of which can't be seen) had to be tossed due to mold from the water damage. You can't put a price on this wood emotionally. I literally just want to cry. Fucking years, some of them already partly carved and I just hadn't had time to finish them since moving here.
The only silver lining I can think of is that I have another box of wood in the house, with some rarer woods in it. But this still really, really hurts.
