Inktober 2017 - Day Two - PostApoc Survivors The Girl and Her Dog A tired wag, a brief hand. No Bambi to call or frolick after. A breath shared their complacency. Meal? Not time yet. When the sun peaks out, So did the critters. He would hunt. She to peel. A boil would cause illness, But who to prevent? Who for regulating? Neither he nor it. Sun peaked through. She shifted. A dream. Gold and myrrh, she'd never seen. He was young again, with bright, SpriteKit leaps. Merchants filled the streets, Women laughed and mothers sang, Grandmothers of legacies churned and Daughters learned every trick to wiggle Through the day. In a dress. Through crowds of people. Between slabs of concrete. Still, no clouds in the sky. She stirred, turning to her friend. Dear friend, until the end. He said it was nigh, with chilled fur.

Inktober - Day One - PostApoc Survivors: Father and Daughter Land past their reach, Spanning for breaths and sleeps and tears and coughs, From a simple world with amazing hearts, Everything to waste. He guided her. She held him. He fed her. She nurtured him. They missed their loved. A faint smell of iron reminded him of his first born Of his first game Of his first tearfell from this turn. A distant sound of bristling reminded her of her idol's tasks; How diligent. How necessary. She would do the same. Her father carried her until light winked from his eyes. No matter the hour, he smiled to her. Fire warmed them, earth filling their bellies. She watched the stars fall to his eyelids. This was as close to Heaven as they were going to get.

Inktober day 2 Featuring Princess Olivia herself "Memory" renamed after original name "Negirl" purposed for pushing envelope proved slightly unfitting. "Glimpses of her past Before she could even walk Leave her all alone."
