ii. dreaming.

He's been dreaming lately, it seems to be all he has ever done. He doesn't know how long it's been now, the subconscious part of his mind playing scenes on repeat so that his processors and spark stay active in the state he's in. Perceptor has been on low power mode for over a decade now. A fateful encounter with the Decepticons during the war left him stranded in Antarctica, terribly injured, and unable to reach Autobot command.

And so this is where he sits dormant in his alt mode until help can arrive. But even in stasis his energon reserve is running low, and he can only wait so long.

He faintly recognizes the low murmur of voices above the sound of the howling wind, and hope burns in his spark once more.

What he cannot see, though, is that the help is not in the form of his Autobot companions, but humans on an exploratory expedition. 

One of the humans whistles sharply “Would you look at this? Who would’ve left a snowcat out here?”

“It’s cold, we should get back.” Says another.

“And leave this here? Rajya, whoever abandoned it might still have data sets here. Imagine what we’ll find. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one in this color either, or the weird scope at the top.”

“It’s been sitting here for over a decade, and I don’t imagine it will have gas. Look how beat up it is.” Rajya says.

But her companion is already opening the door: “Look! They left it unlocked!”

“Alejandro.”

Perceptor feels someone inside of his cabin and instinctually, his engine hums to life.

“They left the keys in?” Rajya asks in disbelief, abandoning her distance and approaching.

“I didn’t touch it, I swear,” Alejandro’s hands are raised above the wheel, startled by the sudden activity.

“Does it have fuel?” Rajya circles to the front, then frowns when she thinks she spots something. She kicks some of the built-up snow away from the vehicle’s grill. “Ale… Come look at this.”

Alejandro hops out and goes to see what’s got her attention. “No way… is that…?”

“I think we found an autobot.”

Consciousness comes to him slowly as each system and subsystem he had powered down jostles awake. His hearing is first. And then his hands. He doesn’t remember when he transformed…

“We can’t just send him off, Captain. With all due respect he’s a vet-”

“Doctor Nieminen, Doctor Ó’Domhnaill, I make the calls here, and we don’t have the resources to help him.”

“I am with Rajya on this, Captain, we owe him—”

Perceptor tries to move, joints creak, frozen pistons crack, and sheets of ice slough off the spaces in his joints. His optics still haven’t come on, but he can already tell he’s in some sort of human facility. His vocalizer clicks on, his voice raw and staticky from disuse: “I-I-I belieeeve I should hav-ave a say on wha-at happens to me.”

“Oh good you’re conscious. Take it easy, big guy. Your energon is still low and you’re badly injured,” He assumes the one speaking to him is one of the Doctors. And… he feels a discomfort in his chest, he reaches blindly to feel it, and instead feels several tubes connected to it.

He frowns, “What…”

“As Alejandro said, you were injured. This is the best we could do to help.”

Ah. A primitive spark-support system. He would be astounded by these two’s ingenious creation in place of a source of energon, but his systems are still rebooting. Speaking of, it seems his pain receptors haven’t kicked in yet. It would be wise to shut them off again before they cycle with everything else.

His optics click on, and he frowns when he finds his right eye is… not even there. Right…

It’s a wonder he’s even still alive.

“Where is… Optimus? I must tell him there is a—”

“The war’s over.” the one in uniform says. He must be the Captain…

Perceptor frowns. No… that can’t be. “How is that possible…”

“It ended years ago, soldier. You can stand down.”

“Hey Percy, look what I found.” Doctor Alejandro Ó’Domhnaill was at his feet, a massive— wait, he recognizes that.

“You found my optic?” It’s been a few weeks now, and his recovery has been exceptionally slow. Unable to perform repairs on himself, he’s had to guide the humans. Though it seems only two of them are allowed to work with him… Their resources are only meant for an allotted amount of time here, and the next supply ship won’t come in for another few months. He’ll admit privately that he feels bad for the strain his presence has caused.

“Yep! Buried out in the snow along with that dead ‘con. Was that your doing? I thought you were a scientist.”

“I am, but we all had to take multiple roles during the war, and it would not do to have me completely defenseless.” Perceptor picks it up carefully, looking over it. It seems some of the integral wiring is too damaged from both weather wear and from its severing. He suspects he’ll only get it to perform at 25% functionality.

The tips of his fingers retract, revealing small claws meant for precise work.

“Eugh,” his human companion says, looking away.

Perceptor pays him no mind as he reconnects it and pushes it back in. He blinks rapidly, ensuring it's properly aligned, and then it onlines.

As he suspected. 

It’s just something he’ll have to grow accustomed to, he supposes. “Thank you, Doctor Alejandro Ó’Domhnaill.”

“I told you, it’s okay to call me Ale. So? How does it fit?”

“It was built for me, of course it fits.”

“An expression.”

“Oh. It is… only partially functional.”

“Maybe we can use that con’s.”

“No, that is not necessary, aside from the simple fact it would not fit me.”

Ale  snaps his fingers, “That reminds me. The con had some energon still in their systems, we’re working on thawing it for you now. I assume it will need to be filtered for you?”

“Yes, it will, and I will show you how when it is time.”

Ale nods, and  Perceptor gets back to the recorded film Rajya left him for entertainment. 

“How are you adjusting?”

“To?”

“The war being over.”

Perceptor pauses, and then sighs, closing his eyes with his hand absently resting below the tubing and wires plugged into his chest. “It is a lot to take in. Especially when last I was awake Megatron was still the enemy’s leader. I am overwhelmed by it, truthfully.”

“When you put it that way, yeah that would be overwhelming.”

“And that I can never return home? It is… hard to think about.”

“I understand a thing or two about being homesick.”

Perceptor gives him a curious quirk of the brow.

“Another expression. It means you miss home so much you feel sick over it.”

“Oh… then… Yes, I feel homesick.

“Al mal tiempo, buena cara. We’ll get you back to the autobots, Percy.”

Perceptor can only hope Alejandro’s right. “I look forward to that.”

Rajya enters the room with a gaggle of scientists behind her. “I’m sorry, Perceptor. I tried to tell them off but they wanted to see you.”

Perceptor smiles, “I assume they have inquiries?”

She gives him a pleading look and he laughs lightly.

“I am open to answering anything.”

Transformers au- I had this idea a bit ago of a bumblebee au it’s essentially all the bumblebees are the same bumblebee it starts with g1 bumblebee dying and waking up in cybertron recently coming from the allspark (either idw or bay verse first ) I thought about making in Optimus….but I feel like having g1 bumblebee slowly relive his life in different universes leaves more room for character growth. As bumblebee is more childish and kind….while the way this would go Optimus would already went through a lot of character growth. by the war for cybertron trilogy he’s just done and wants to stay as far away from the war as possible…what makes this funny is that after idw ,idw star screams ghost follows him between universes and now there’s two starscreams… I just love their dynamic and couldn’t keep it to just idw series and starscream will often make snarky comments about his other selves….mostly prime starscream in season three. He also talks smack about alot of the other Autobots particularly animated Sentinal whom is paying for bayverse Sentinal and idw Sentinal’s actions in the form of a ghost and a mini bot bullying him.

G1 goes pretty much the same , idw is bumblebee trying to figure out what the heck happened while slowly becoming wary of humans (why are these ones so mean?! The ones from my original timeline were nice ) becoming a ghost and being seen by only starscream will be explored more as I feel like in this he will be the first to find out. And unfortunately will still become a ghost :(.

Bayverse is bumblebee waking up in the middle of a war with starscream screaming at him to figure what the heck happened to which when bumblebee learns how to talk as he was just found as a sparkling in some rubble (I love the idea of bayverse Optimus finding Bumblebee in some rubble and adopting him really adorable) just looks at him like “yes I can see you and two this isn’t the first time this happened which just has ghostscream shouting “what do you mean?!” They still friends and the autobots just think bumblebee made an imaginary friend this arc is pretty much just Starscream or now dubbed ghostscream adjusting to being dragged along on bumblebees adventures….even though his best friend is now a sparkling heck he’s in the body of a sparkling. Yeah…the whole voice box either getting ripped out or damaged beyond repair trend has got him screaming out in fear but always to late to warn bumblebee. Magic changes to this is bumblebee being absolutely done.in the second movie he be thinking when Sam tries to convince him to go back to Optimus is ‘no please I don’t want to be dragged back into that shit again.’ He and ghostscream do eventually learn to use sign language in this. Ghostscream be seeing these decepticons just being evil for no reason and is like “atleast we had a reason what the heck?!” Ghostscream also hates the humans and will absolutely shout “Finally! We can show them a thing or to for constantly picking fight with autobots who knew if you pushed hard enough they’d fight back-oh wait I did!”

Animated has the most changes just from bumblebees personality alone. Bumblebee in this would be quiet calm, kind and diplomatic….but also an absolute menace when it comes to Sari. He would be more adept in the boot camp (which I feel in he would be dragged into) and would leave with Bulkhead when he was kicked out of the boot camp. He wouldn’t suspect Wasp for being a Decepticon spy because in IDW he was a part of spec ops. Leaving because he wanted a break from all the drama (which ghostscream wholeheartedly agrees with after the whole Bayverse drama ) only to be screaming in his head when he finds out he’s apart of Optimus’s team he now knows things will end up going to sh*t soon but he decides to enjoy a break while he can. Him being more calm despite his young age changes most of the character dynamics. (I feel like the older bot’s would think something bad happened in his sparklinghood that made him the way he is ) This would also have a heavy hit on the plot as one of the Allspark shards makes ghost scream semi-visible and able to be heard but still not able to be touched. Yea…that will be alot of explaining to do. You know that black stuff that shows Bumblebee didn’t leave his prison dimension fine and dandy that most likely killed Omega Suprime yea that shows up when he’s angry and longarm/shockwave notices that won't be good…

Primverse has ghostscream hating on Megatron even more (he followed his other self to the nemesis only to see Megatron jab a Chrystal into his spark chamber with no care on how it would effect him he is screeching his head off at how unsafe that was to bumblebee later whom started using sign language again. Cue more bullying and Unicon stating something about bumblebees weird death touch thing. I also feel during out of his head Meagtron finds out about Ghost scream. Due to Ghostscream telling him to get out of bee’s f*king head. He then reveals the other being that resides around bumblebee which then in turn allows the rest of the team to figure it out.. The kids end up asking ghostscream a lot of questions and bumblebee would translate for star scream and Raf will translate for bee. Will also cover robt and the games when I come up for ideas for this

The war for cybertron trilogy is just a bunch of misadventurss of bee and ghost scream avoiding the factions and attempting to stay neutral (then the alpha trion protocol happens and bee has another voice in his head telling him to go be Optimus’s friend which is another time of Ghostscream screaming in the background )

Cyber verse is a trip because bee losing his voice but also because wind blade is there. And bumblebee loses his memorys which the first arc of this would be ghostscream desperately trying to find out how to help him. I think it would be funny if Starscream got dragged into bees he's as well during those sections, just for the giggles of wind blades reaction. Starscream would also find out about ghost him hilarity ensues. Bumblebee probably tried a lot for the revolution to still happen but not the war. Cheetor also knows cause he can weirdly sense ghost screams spark

The new movie verse also is. a trip because bumblebees Coma Sector 7 is horrible to Bee and ghost scream knowing his ‘friend’ is alive but in a coma….he likes Charlie because they were kind and weren't like…most of the other humans. Bee has to get used to the name change till he can find a valid way to change it with weird looks on what the heck a bumblebee is. Rotb is a trip due to Mirage ( they aren't used to middle-child Mirage) and Bumblebee dying..again. This universe is going to give Ghostscream a panic attack

Earth spark is just. Bumblebee doesn't care anymore eye just wants to live with his new family in peace so whenever a Decepticon shows up around him it's more of a “you can stay at my place but if you do anything to harm my kids I will end you” :) He’s…… just indifferent at this point There's probably going to be a bit which is just Bee and the kids (and ghoatscream) hiding the Decepticons from Megs and Optimus when asked why he's doing this he just says “I agreed with a lot of the stuff the Decepticons said at the start of the war but a lot of stuff happened and I ended up siding with the Autobots and being on earth has taught me the difference between nice organisations and shady and most likely are evil ones and Ghost isas shady as they come”. He seen how most organizations treat their kind and he sees the signs in ghost. Surprisingly this makes him a lot of new friends and the kids just look at bee and find themselves agreeing with him. They eventually meet ghostscream via science experiments and ghostscream is like “you kids are cool” because he is also indifferent at this point

Might make this story to help get rid of my writers block :)

Disspite really dislikeing tuch from ppl they dont really know, they practicly tackle starscream. Optic frizzleing and glitching. Thanks to the empurata they physicly cannot cry tears, it just causes their optic to glitch out instead. They cant really sob ehiter thanks to the missing voice box, but due to starscream now being able to tuch them, he can feel just how much their shakeing, intire frame just rattleing, chest heaveing in mute sobs. They practicly have him in a death grip as if their life and sanity depend on him, and they will not be letting go anytime soon. Their claws are stratching his plateing a fair bit on acident as they dont really have the mind to be careful right now

Here to drop error off, once again. Tho i brought a blanket with them today. They didnt sleep much last night they refuse to elaborate on the subject besides saying they had some nightmares (they told me in wingspeak)

Vary tired, swaying on their peds but refuseing to fall asleep. What if the nightmares come back?

We’ll do our best. We have a lot of sparklings who have also suffered with nightmares so we’ll know what to do and how to help Error out.

A security item or blanket is a smart idea, any item that brings them comfort can help a lot in getting them to feel safe enough to sleep.

I *need* to read that ES!StarOp, there is potential in that lovely premise. I love and can see how protective Starscream would be. I'm curious how everyone would react to them being together~

You’ve opened a can of worms now because I must tell you about my AU. But first, yes…I am all for protective Starscream. Especially with post war OP. In my Prime and IDW Aus, Optimus is just not happy with his life and kind of wants to go off and live on his own but people won’t let him. For Optimus, he is a character that everyone, and I mean everyone who knows/has a relationship with him feels entitled too. Starscream is one of the few people who is an outside perspective, so he is able to understand Optimus’ pain and the need to keep up a façade.

In my earthspark Aus, things are different. Optimus actually frees Starscream after talking to him for a few years while he’s imprisoned, and he gets a different side of Starscream. Starscream is still, well, Starscream so he is still evil. But Starscream falls in love with the bot he can speak to across the bars, and he learns things about Optimus that he has told no one. Optimus understands that with Starscream, he doesn’t have to keep up his walls or attempt to be this leader everyone wants him to be, he can rest. He can be vulnerable around Starscream. And in general, no one cares about Optimus. He is always protecting and watching over others, so coming to the lower levels of Ghost and talking to Starscream…he starts to open up.

Eventually, the two fall deeply in love and Optimus does free Starscream – and Starscream convinces Optimus to free his sisters as well (Nova and Skywarp). Surprisingly, the three aren’t terrible and for the most part just live by themselves in an abandoned Decepticon base, attempting to build a bridge back to Cybertron. In secret, Optimus visits Starscream and the two grow a stronger relationship. I toggle with this part of the AU, but they do have two sparklings together, that are raised by Starscream, Skywarp, Nova and Optimus. Per Starscream’s request, Optimus doesn’t tell anyone about their children. However, Optimus loves them both. They are a boy and a girl.

Things end terribly when GHOST finds out, and not only recaptures the Seekers but erases everyone’s mind. So Starscream forgets, so does Optimus. They forget about their children, their happiness, etc. As do Nova and Skywarp. 

In my AU, it isn’t until S2 of ES, do things start coming back to them. Their children are kinda just off. Their daughter was captured and almost used as a weapon by GHOST but she escaped and finds her younger brother.

Now I’ve gone off on a tangent XD. But how does everyone react? Well for the first years of the relationship, absolutely no one knows. And they don’t even know they were in a relationship until much later. TBH, especially with Starscream being evil, I don’t think a lot of people would be happy. And some might think he manipulated/seduced Optimus in the past so that he could get free, which he did not. But when they get their memories back, the love resumes. TBH, it was always there so when G.H.O.S.Ts mind tricks wore off and they remembered it was easy to come back to each other. Starscream is still evil, and he is still kinda possessive of his big strong, but also sad mech and he can fight soo….I think Hashtag knows. And hashtag is also friends with their children? Dot also knows, I hc that despite everything , Dot and Starscream are friends.

I'm looking for a beta reader for my TF stuff. English is my second language spiel bla bla bla. More details/rambling under cut

what I write; pretty wide range of things, I have an IDW AU where Rodimus is in the Cars universe and he's going to be bff with McQueen because it makes my brain go brrrr (there's also a sequel with Turbo [sue me]). There's also the TFP AU where Cylas infiltrates the 'cons by hacking Break Down and things get not nice from there for anyone.

Biggest project is my modest rewrite of Earthspark S1 for my bestie @shotimus (yas gurl, you mention~) who, not only does wonderful first read and proof reading, but is the inspiration behind this whole insane cooking.

Recurrent themes; AU's, silly cross overs (Cars and Turbo were mentioned but may I preach about Megatron and the Minions?) character(s) death(s), non/dub-con physically/mentally/sanely, BDSM, valveplug/plug n play/whatever TF do to get freaky, robogore & medical malpractice themes. Toxic Texaid and Tarnma is my perfect venn diagram of tropes.

oh and poly robots. gotta be chill about robots having it going on with all the other robots.

actual pairings I'm writing right now; TFE starscream/soundwave, TFP starscream/soundwave/knock out, TFP/TFE knock out/break down/starscream, TFE OP/Meg/Elita, anywhere I can shove drift/ratchet/rodimus in but mostly IDW so far (threat).

my process; I tend to have 3 or 4 things on the burner at the same time while I'm chopping away at the bug project. I have a general idea where I'm going usually but sometimes I veer off and things get out of hands.

I tend to write the sillier things to 'jump start' my brain so they get small burst of updates and the big project that I tend to stick to 3k to 5k updates weekly (when life is not taking over)

I tend to repeat myself, which brings me to!

my Struggles; sticking with verb tense, changing my mind about a sentence; editing a part and then the whole thing makes no sense, random french word that makes no sense and/or sentence that would make sense in french but sounds insane in english. I also, tend to repeat myself, don't know if I mentioned that.

Things I like in a beta; explains the why of the changes made when reorganizing a sentence, can help make sense or organize a rambling/brain dump, helps with what tags to put on AO3 (bane of my life), summary; what's a summary? (help!), someone to bounce off plots, ideas and words, drift compatible always a plus.

I'm very chill tho, we're all doing this for fun and I respect anyone taking their free time to help me make another friend happy!!

this is an excellent point, and I agree. actually, i therefore would propose an alternative scenario: prowl finds and brings him the emberstone, and doesn't understand why mesothulas is insistent he's going to use this to improve his OWN methods and not just. work out how to make it create a thousand MTO-style soldiers in the next month. who cares, prowl says, if mesothulas thinks he can do it 'better'? they don't need to be better if they're infinitely replaceable. this being the start of the first frission of tension between them, and the first indication they are not quite on the same page, is sure an idea.

but also, the emberstone works when humans touch it and use it to create very specific bonds with the resulting terrans… mesothulas would want that with ostaros SO badly. imagine him trying to get it to work so prowl has a link too, and prowl being horrified at the idea… oops.

omg i love LOVE es prowl and mesothulas. quick question: what would meso do if he knows abt the emberstone (if it isn't destroyed) and the hundred babies he can trap prowl with?

(vague spoilers for the two-part finale to the initial batch of earthspark episodes follow!)

listen. both here and in canon it is very important to understand that prowl is 100% aware of and fine with the baby building, ok. people always insist it's baby trapping but it's NOT. prowl knows full well there's a baby being built down there! it's so much funnier that he's like 'yeah, ok' about this, i will not let it go unremarked on.

ANYWAY. i think mesothulas would obviously go NUTS. but if he can't find the thing itself (and honestly it's now lost in some cave like five people know the location of out in the middle of nowhere, he probably can't) he's probably not going to waste a huge amount of time trawling the wilderness for the thing, so next best option: try and reverse engineer one! good thing there's now five whole terrans he can kidnap to experiment on, the larger sample size makes things WAY easier.

prowl: i'm not kidnapping you a child to vivisect.

mesothulas: why nottttt :(

prowl: that's a security risk, what if they escape and tell the autobots what we're doing.

mesothulas: well if i DISSECT one they can't do that, can they!!!

tbh it's not like they'd be hard to kidnap. if thrash is any indication in that Swindle episode offer them candy and they'll just wander off with you.

and also. i swear to god the lights were blue yellow and pink the whole time i worked on this. my horror after hours of shading to realize that my pinks had become purples....... unspeakable.

i have never put this much rendering juice into a piece before ever in my life. please enjoy Pretty Colors and how i painstakingly blended the shading layers together with just a pencil brush at low opacity like a clown

TFP AUs I Probably Won't Expand Upon

Exactly what it says on the tin. Just little AUs I've thought about but probably won't do anything with.

Masterforce AU - In which several headmaster and powermaster transtectors land on Earth. Three of them are found by the Autobots and are used by Jack, Miko, and Raf, while a fourth has been snatched up by Silas and MECH. Whether or not this means Breakdown avoids being used as a suit by Silas is anyone's guess.

Terrorcon Cliff AU - In which Cliffjumper's death was recent enough that the dark energon truly reignites his spark. Aside from a new uncanny valley effect and hearing the voices of Megatron and Unicron, he's as healthy as ever.

Out of Body Experience AU - In which Bumblebee is able to fight off Megatron and prevent the Decepticon leader from returning to his own body. Unfortunately for Bumblebee and the Autobots, it means the base now has a new permanent resident.

Earthspark AU - In which the kids get lost in a cave and stumble upon the Emberstone. Their Terran partners would all be original characters.

Action Master AU - In which Bumblebee's T-cog, while functional, isn't as reliable as it used to be, leading to him becoming stronger, faster, more alive to make up for the loss of his vehicle mode.

Miko & Arcee AU - In which Arcee is Miko's Autobot partner. I'mma be real, this is just an excuse to her face off against Airachnid.

Seaspray Lives AU - In which... well, you can figure it out. He and Wheeljack hunt down Dreadwing for trying to bump them off and decided to stay on Earth. To the surprise of nobody, Seaspray's alt mode is a boat.

Primal Mode AU - In which Optimus actually uses the T-rex mode he acquired in Rescue Bots. Whether this leads to the other Autobots taking on beast modes remains to be seen. At the very least, Bumblebee takes on the raptor mode one of his rescan toys had.

Fourth Human AU - In which Smokescreen picks a fight with one of Jack's classmates at the beginning of Legacy and they need to be brought back to base. Smokescreen is assigned to be their partner, which doesn't go well considering their initial meeting.

Another brain worm/plot bunny manifested: an Earthspark/Bee and Puppycat crossover. Some more details below:

The concept is that Bee, from Bee and Puppycat, is a Pretender bot; a type of transformer designed to mimic humans.

In this AU, Pretenders aren't Cybertronians, but an artificial sister species developed by the alien scientist known as Dr. Bird.

Bee was supposed to be the only Pretender (build simply to be Dr. Bird's cool superpowered child), with the other protoforms serving as backup bodies in case her original one was damaged beyond repair. However, due to a Decepticon raid on his laboratory a few years into the war on Earth, several of the stored protoforms went missing, and turned up in various locations around the world, accidentally forming another transformer species.

A Pretender's alt mode is their human form. They start off as very small, inactive protoforms (not unlike Sari's protoform in TFA), until a human or human-like alien makes contact, at which point the protoform activates, scans the organic's DNA, and transforms into what very much looks like a young child of that species. They then grow up much like a human child.

Unlike a Cybertronian, Pretenders don't really rely on Energon to survive. Dr. Bird designed them so that they can convert just about anything into fuel, if they can tolerate eating it, at the cost of needing to consume a lot if they're going to be exceptionally active. Most either eat like Saiyans to have the energy to run at full capacity, or sleep a lot to run safely on relatively little energy. Energy crystals, or "candy" as Bee calls them, are a way of avoiding needing this (energon also works), but they're hard to come by for most Pretenders.

(Bee's activation predates the arrival of the Autobots on Earth by about five years. Bird thought that Earth would be a good spot to hide out since it was so out of the way, but was proven wrong a couple centuries into his stay. He wound up leaving because the end of the war meant that GHOST would be paying a lot closer attention to suspicious activity, having the then 20-year-old Bee stay behind to guard the old ship turned island.)

(People who've been living on Ship Island - Bee's home town - for a long time have something of a weirdness censor going on. The island is known for having a sedative effect on anyone who visits it. Most think it's just because it's a beautiful locale with gorgeous coastlines, lots of great restaurants, and a relaxed beachy atmosphere. They're only half right; when the ship first landed in that spot centuries ago, one of the first things Dr. Bird set up was a "cognitive cloaking field" to keep humans from freaking out at the sight of aliens and alien technology.)

(That weirdness censor is what's kept Bee, Puppycat, and the other more unusual residents of the Island under the radar of GHOST, since anyone who spends time there simply doesn't care enough to note how weird anything is. That also makes that island a popular rest stop for transformers on the run, as one can appear in full robot form and hardly anyone in that area will bat an eye. Frenzy happily demonstrates this to the Maltos by standing right in front of a guy at a restaurant, no disguise at all, and slapping his salad onto the floor. The guy just calls for a waiter to ask for a replacement salad because he dropped it.)

Okay, remeber my post about Earthspark AUs? It was written at 3 am, so I redid the text and made it more clear! Welcome under the cut!

Those AUs splinter after the second batch, tho this still gonna lead to direct confrontation with GHOST. Here's comes several different ideas.

Idea 1. The reason Bee was actively hunted by GHOST is bc Croft knows he's a powerful outliner.

I had different versions of what this power can be, like power to make storms, hydrokinesis (Bee loves water in this AU), or something like bioresonance from Signalis (this one super cool and fun!).

During the war Megatron wanted a bioweapon, so ordered Shockwave to make one. Young Bee was living in the facility and interacted with other young 'cons that were claimed by by Decepticons at birth. That's how Bee know Brackdown.

But he had little freedom, and he was experimented on. Eventually he couldn't take it anymore and snapped really badly, his powers killed anyone in the facility expect Stunticons (they were out at the moment)and Shockwave with Megatron ( who were in the same room with Bee)

Megatron kills him ( or specifically, he thinks he killed Bee) and discared outside, and that's where Optimus finds and rescues him. Bee has little memory of this and his powers were dormant ever since.

Unfortunatly, Croft found some classified decepticon files about Bee. She wants Bee as a weapon, so she can invade other countries on Earth first, and then other worlds, including Cybetron. Tho she would happily control other cybertronians using Mandroid's tech (which she controlled with energon and eventually killed him).

She wanted to use Optimus first, but the found out that's Maltos hide Terrans and Bee, so he decided to use his family to lure him out. And when everyone is gathered in final confrontation, she sticks the mind controlling device on him. Except instead of being controlled, Bee goes berserk bc the device uncovered all his trauma.

Everything descends into chaos. Idea 1a. Bumblebee wasn't artificially created, but he kidnapped from Caminus, a colony that isolated itself off entirely when off started. Camines basically all outliners and Megatron wanted his bioweapon, so Bee was taken. When he lived on Caminus he knew Windblade, another batchmate that was born not long after him and they were besties.

Bc of trauma from experiments, he forgot his previous life entirely, while Windy was looking for him. Eventually she reaches Earth of her own that when they reunite.

Idea 2. Bee doesn't have any powers and GHOST were more interested in Terrans and kid's cybersleeves. They invaded Maltos, took everyone hostage, and she mortally wounds Bee before GHOST leaves with Maltos captured.

Slowly dying he finds strength to go back to the cave, squeeze really hard into the hole to reach the Embersone and begs it for help. In return the stone gets absorbed into his spark, transforming him into powerful creature ( in my case of course, a dragon! But I was thinking of eastern dragon this time, or even Bakunawa - a serpent dragon from Philippine mythology).

Of course it comes with the price and the stone is gradually killing him bc no mortal can hold that much power inside their body, but he willing to pay.

Also, his gets added to the Terran collective, so kids suddenly can feel emotions.

Idea 2a. That Alex was also left behind with dying Bee ( Croft thought the historian is weak and wont interfere, while Dot presents a threat). Alex is the one run to the cave and bring the stone to Bee. But Bee is very disheartened, beating himself up bc he failed to protect anyone, so Alex to comfort him tells him a story from mythology (idk which one, maybes something with a dragon again if there are fitting stories?) which helps Bee to focus and regain resolve and take the stone's power.

Ending In all cases, Bumblebee is dying after the main fight, so Terrans with kids use the power of Emberstone to save him. They get into his mind a seem glimpses of his trauma and how he often feels powerless and he desire to be a hero and being self-sacrificing to combat this.

He's like okay with dying, but Twitch protests, repeating his own words back to him ( "I wont leave you until you're save, that what family means!") and tells him that he can't die right after he begin to actually live. For idea 1 he can die before he finds his alt-mode, for idea 2 he can't just die without enjoying his chosen altmode first.

They remind him that he has home and family to return too, and it was enough for to stabilize and survive. Good ending!~

STARTING MY TUMBLR RAMBLING JOURNEY!!!! (Spoilers for TFP)

TRANSFORMERS: AFTERMATH

This AU consists of three main archs (with a fourth being planned for the future) :

-Prologue

-Aftermath

-Lost Light

- (Earthspark)

I'm still thinking of an acronym for my AU but I'm thinking it might be TFAM? idk,,,

Prologue follows Atlas! My very obvious self-insert OC (lol). He's a human who was saved by Optimus then basically adopted by Team Prime. He gets kidnapped by Starscream (who uses him as a bargaining tool to get back into the Decepticons after getting kicked out because of his shenanigans) half way through the story and learns about the war from both perspectives, and learns a lot about Starscream.

Well Starscream realizes (with some Atlas therapy) that Megatron kinda sucks when he's on Chaos Lean so he should dump his ass, and basically gives Atlas back to Optimus, which almost gets him killed and he goes into hiding. (It's much more dramatic, I can always write short stories for these scenes if anyone is interested.)

Everything in TFP (except the parts with the OG humans cause I cut em out) happens as usual.

But Atlas is on Earth, and realizes, "Shit, if these guys go back to Cybertron, I won't have anyone..." So he says FUCK IT, ROBO TIME.

He then spends the next five years (between TFP and the movie) building a body. He uses parts from a vehicon, (not Steve don't worry), Dreadwing, and car parts from an old 1998 Subaru Impreza he found in a car dump. Using Shockwave's tech, and some help from Ratchet who begrudgingly agreed to help him, he basically Frankensteined himself into this body and became the first artificial Human/Cybertronian crossbreed? thing.

He cleans up some loose ends on Earth (mainly evidence of his existence and some evidence of the Cybertronians' existence) then GOES TO THE MOON (with wheeljack, who picks him up and then takes him to Cybertron)

He learns that RATCHET DIDN'T TELL HIM THAT OPTIMUS DIED and he's sparkbroken :(

Ratchet was too though, Optimus and him were low key husbands.

Then we have AFTERMATH!

This was a dnd campaign I ran with one of my friends, I only had one actual player, who played Pierce-tail! The last of Shockwave's predacons, who he made to be a guard-dog for a small bunker he was hiding in on Cybertron after Megatron surrendered. The story follows Pierce-tail, who has mysterious magical powers that nobody can explain, and his fight to save Cybertron and Earth from Shockwave and Tarn, who've teamed up to rebuild the Decepticon army and colonize Earth.

Spoiler alert, Pierce-tail kills Shockwave and fights Tarn to the death and kills both Tarn and himself by literally exploding due to his powers overloading his frame and turning his spark into a nuke.

And then we have Lost Light!

Rodimus (Who was cryogenically frozen for a little while and didn't know the war ended), Ultra Magnus (who was retired from being Cybertron's ruler because he got too power-hungry and racist) and Megatron (Who's taking extensive therapy and learning to be a good leader and prove himself as a worthy member of society with help of Atlas) take a crew of 40 members to find the LOST KNIGHTS OF CYBERTRON!

(It's basically a big dating sim for my three players.)

I'll do big plot updates on what happens in TFAM: Lost Light, but anybody who's interested in this AU, feel free to ask me any questions, I love getting asks! They make my day :3

currently thinking about an earthspark au for my ocs… specifically the dynamics between firebyte and literally anyone else. oogh she’d confuse the shit outta everyone like ‘is that a deception she has their logo’ but megatron all scottish is like ‘never seen them before’ then she probably tells the terrans about wattpad and is never allowed near kids again unsupervised

firebug confuses everyone cause?? what’s she saying?? and bumblebee is the only one (outside of firebyte ofc) who understands her (she speaks in beeps/clicks, similar to tfp bee)

and clickshell, who emotes similarly to tfp soundwave (mute/screen face, click is more expressive though), getting hella pissed off cause she doesn’t have an insignia anywhere, and is about the size of thrash/jb, ie she is small, and gets confused for one of them on several different occasions.

clickshell is a war-hardened assassin. she does not find it amusing.

i should work on some more es style refs for this lot. they’re all so silly :3
