Ok I’m sorry but I can’t resist asking you all these questions. I’m so annoying but none of my friends have even heard the name young justice. I’m the secret nerd lol. ANYWAYS, I feel like you’re answering all the questions but I want to know what you think. Favorite characters and episodes from first two seasons? Season 1 team or season 2 team? Favorite powers? Favorite fight scene? Favorite ship? Characters or storylines you didn’t really like? I’m so interested.

Oof this will be a long post so I apologize in advance but I feel like I’ve been asked varying questions to this degree so I’m just gonna answer them all at once.

Favorite Characters: I think I’ve made it absolutely zero secret that my favorites are Will Harper, Lian Harper, and Jade Nguyen. I know they’re not major characters but w/e, fight me binches. I also love me one Artemis Crock and Kaldur. 

Favorite Episodes: I know you said first two seasons but until proven otherwise I will go to my grave swearing that Private Security is the best episode of the series. My other favorite episodes that I’ve seen a million times are Complications and Misplaced. I have a whole bunch that I really enjoy, like Summit, Satisfaction, Bloodlines, The Fix, Failsafe, Performance, and Insecurity.

Favorite Team: Hands down Season One. That isn’t even up for debate haha.

Favorite Powers: Listen I will say that the most fascinating powers belong to M’Gann. She is super powerful and her character development has been A+++. I really liked Halo’s powers at first, but if ppl want to ask me more about this on Friday, I’ll go into it in more detail then. 

Favorite Fight Scene: Complications, hands down. Misplaced, when they’re fighting in tandem with the adults. I will also add that Artemis taking down a bunch of baddies in Royal We was also fantastic. I’ll also give points to the Spitfire ‘fight’ in Paris during Endgame because I CAN. 

Favorite Ship: Redcat, hands down, but only in Earth-16. Spitfire, obviously. I like Dick/Babs bc they’re cute but I did see a really good post earlier on Tumblr about how they’re really underdeveloped in the show and I’d have to agree. I also ship Kaldur with ANYONE bc that bby is a bean and he deserves some love. 

Least Favorite Characters/Storylines: Oof, Lagoon Boy. When I first watched S2, I really didn’t like him. Recently I watched it again and decided he was better, but he’s still the weakest of the team. I had a hard time liking Superboy in S1, but he’s really grown on me and I love him and his development now! I also really don’t like Dr. Helga Jace. I’ll talk more about her on Friday. Storylines that I didn’t like, hmmm. Right now, Evolution is on my hit list because I really didn’t enjoy that, but I think other people might. I’d have to say that all three recent eps have some issues in the writing which really made me rate them lower than the previous ones. When I first watched S2, I really didn’t like how the plot shoehorned in on Blue Beetle and then left the rest of the team in the dust. I’m having a hard time picking specific episodes because none of them are all bad, but I’ll say that some of the fillers in there were not as interesting to me, personally.

Ok wait. Is anyone else like super annoyed that outsiders is taking such a long break. I wasn’t even feeling the season so far and they had the audacity to take a couple month break. Can we go back to the days where I’d wake up on Sunday mornings to watch the new episodes of season 1 😔

Yeah, I think the big problem is the ‘three episodes a week’ release schedule. While at first it’s like ‘YAY three episodes!’ …. then we have to wait five months for the rest. 

If we’d had one episode a week, it would have taken 14 weeks to air. That would mean the show would have finished next week, instead of February. What we also would have had was a stronger fanbase that had been through 14 weeks together, instead of just four, which to me hurts the most. I feel as if I’d only just gotten to know all these cool, awesome people, but then woomp YJ is on break and everyone is gone for the hiatus. It really blows. 

But April is a fantastic month for TV so I’m not sad anymore haha. Plz excuse me as this blog temporarily focuses on Fruits Basket, Game of Thrones and She-Ra.
