tea man concept, because I love him. this one's a bit messy bc I couldn't put my thoughts into words/doodles very well this time, so I'm sorry for that, but there's lots of rambles in the tags which you should check out too 💜

#cookie run #cookie run fanart #earl grey cookie #so this is where it starts getting into the more concept and less headcanon part #because literally none of this is based off of canon except for maybe the kids liking him but thats a stretch #the devs refuse to give me tea man content so i simply make it myself #i mean they technically did give tea man content an update ago in CRK but thats the WRONG tea man >:(#anyways time to ramble #so two concepts here are based off of much bigger and complicated concepts ive thought of that i havent shared yet #one is how i believe the CoD work and the other is the idea that Eclair Rogue and Earl are all siblings #ive kinda touched on that one a little but not as in depth as id like #still not going in depth but the basics is Eclair is the oldest by a year and Rogue and Earl are unidentical twins #eclair and earl are close as they share a lot of interests but rogue and earl were seperated in their teens so their not close anymore #earl despises how rogue turned out and wishes they could do better but he still loves them the way any twin does #rogue comes to him if they ever get injured or are just bored but they sadly dont interact much otherwise #them being separated is also the main reason that he refuses to separate the chess twins. ever #they dont like being away from each other in a way that only Earl can understand since thats what happened to him #the twins are also a big part as to why he absolutely hates DE #aside from the obvious of shes evil and destructive which he already dislikes he hates the way shes manipulated them #she gave them a promise which wouldve never been fulfilled if he hadnt agreed to stay for them but they hold her in such a high light #<because of it. and technically theyre right since the three wouldve never met if she hadnt encouraged them which is worse #its not just the twins though. while it was initially he was different from the others in that he had a healthy mindset when he joined #he could see all the lies and manipulation because his mind wasnt clouded with sorrow grief and desperationg the way it was for the others #and he hates that he has such a tight grasp on them and how they all seem to worship her unrelentlessly #while im still not yet explaining how i think the CoD works i will say that while Earl is the most defiant hes probably the most useful #not only does he run the hotel catered for the wealthy and bring in a shit ton of money he also fulfills the promises DE made which she #<never actually intended to keep up #hes trapped in a cycle of fighting his battles by helping the enemy and over time itll lead him to the fate the others hold #which is trapped in a contract he knows will never be finished until hes probably dead or worse #anyways thats kinda all i wanted to explain but im always open to questions so please ask i love explaining
