It's the 29th of March, which means that today is the day where one of my favourite drummers was born.

Happy birthday Harin! 🥳

I really had fun with this. I wanted to make a REALLY special collage for him, since he's born the day after me (we're almost birthday twins 😭) and we're both under the aries sign.

Did I exaggerate a bit with the pictures? 🤣

Well, now you can admire every shape of him 🥴😌

Ok, enough with the funny talking, it's time for the letter.

Talking about Harin means, again, talking about why I love bands in general. Before discovering K-pop and k-bands in general, I was very into tech-death metal. Now, this metal genre is very heavy and hard to listen but, if you pay enough attention, you immediately notice how the drums are one if not the most important instruments. You can't do that genre if your drummer doesn't have a good technique.

And when I recognized Harin's technique? When listening to Montage_ obviously. I love that song especially for two reasons, and the first is Harin's drums. His aggressive rythm is probably one of the first thing that I heard immediately besides Kanghyun's riffs. I was thrilled by it. For this reason, he became my second bias after CyA (and let's say that I should also thank some pictures of him 🤣 Working out helps a lot).

Little story time now. While I was watching Onewe's pics I always thought Harin was one if not the most introverted member of the group. You wonder why? Must admit it was his way of smiling. Since his smile is always very timid I thought he was introvert, so imagine my shook when I discovered his MBTI and he had the E of extrovert in it. I was literally like "What? An extrovert? Him? Seriously?". I was naive at the time, I must admit. In the exact moment I started to watch some extra Onewe content I understood why he was labelled like that. He's the one who brings chaos most of the time while being a goofball. If you watched some clips from the recent fansign you know what I'm talking about. He can't dance and despite that he decides to dance anyway because he's having fun with the members. I love him for this. And how I can talk about Harin without mentioning the beautiful friendship he has with Kanghyun? He's the extroverted friend I always wanted to have: someone who respects your boundaries and your spaces, who makes sure you feel better first, someone who can rely on.

And how can I not talk about how he sees Onewe as a whole? I don't know you but Harin is for me the member who sees the band as a second family more than the others. I will never forget how, during the last concert the members made all together, he tried to not cry until he bursted into tears after everyone read their letters to both Yonghoon and Kanghyun. I felt that. Kanghyun and Yonghoon aren't just two members for him but two good friends (Kanghyun especially), two brothers who made his days more brighter and precious. Even if he knew it, he couldn't be stoic like he always does when he's on the stage. He needed to express his sadness and how much he would have missed them during these months. And I think every Weve felt his emotions at the time.

My dear Harin, thank you so much for taking care of our maknaes while the Leader Line is doing their duty for the country. I know it wasn't easy for you at the beginning but I assure you that you made a wonderful job. If I saw both Dongmyeong and Giuk being this happy last year is thanks to you. I think both Yonghoon and Kanghyun know that too. Thank you for being a big, comfy safe space for us during this year. Thank you for protecting us. Thank you for being one the kindest person I ever met during my k-pop journey.

Hope you'll celebrate this day with the members and your family too. Take this day to take a rest and to enjoy the little and happy things in life. You deserve it.

5) Who feels the most like home?

Hmmm...... out of all my biases, I'd probably say my svt bias line? But tbh, lately Minghao's attacking me A LOT with comfort feelings so I'm gonna go with him. He just radiates that calm, soothing energy and wisdom, but he's also cute and clingy and just has that annoying unhinged sibling energy sometimes?? What's more home than that?? (Also my dad is really into fancy tea and tea ceremonies so... yeah...)

Yonghoon's passion is obviously his music and making weves cry and wtf he's really good at soccer??? And look, it makes me feel emotional like all his songs and I'm geniunely in awe of how hardworking is - but I wanna keep this lighthearted and the one thing he's also passionate about and that's honestly hilarious to me and that I admire greatly is how he's always trying to rizz up Kanghyun askjgdahsg because SAME 😭😭 Nothing makes my day quicker than leader line bickering lmao, I love them so much I want what they have (also he was so happy when he finally succeeded ;-;)

For Hongjoong, his passion for fashion and especially the stuff he does with his clothes is just ??? idek how to describe it, like the joy he radiates and how freely he seems to express himself in his art is just ??? i'm a mess, sir???? idk idk just something about people being creative and expressing themselves just makes me emotional wreck

21) Talk about one of your favorite features of a bias

So for Hongjoong I'm really torn between his eyes and his lips?? But probably his eyes because he's the master of facial expressions and his eye acting???? Unreal. He's just has such pretty eyes and I hope that whoever came up with putting the lil gems right under his eyes in the shoots for the spin off gets a raise

As for Yonghoon.... this will get long........... (aka i'm totally normal about him hahhahaha)

Yonghoon would find you cute, and he’d be so soft for you. But he'd also want to take you home so you can sleep somewhere more peaceful. He'd try to wake you up gently.

You're snoring with your head on Yonghoon's lap. It's an afterparty after one of their performances, and you had insisted on coming along. Yu hadn't expected to be this tired so fast. And yet, here you are, fast asleep with your arms wrapped around his waist.

You groan a bit, hugging him tighter, and Yonghoon swears his heart beats a bit faster, and his fingers absentmindedly trace your face a bit. You giggle in your semi-sleep, and he freezes.

"Sorry," he whispers, and you mumble something sleepily that he doesn't hear as you squeeze his waist and bury your face in his tummy sleepily. He smiles fondly down at you and strokes your hair, singing to you softly to help you sleep better, completely forgetting that he's at a busy afterparty.

Ju Harin (Harin)

Harin would think you were the sweetest thing. He would feel conflicted, because he’d both want to take you home to get you to sleep somewhere safer and more comfortable, but he would also not want to disturb you.

You lean against Harin's shoulder on the bench, exhausted from following Harin all day for his schedule, filled with interviews and a performance. You know he's worked a lot today, but all of the social stimulation that you're not used to was exhausting.

You close your eyes, feeling yourself drift off.

Harin hums gently. You shift a bit in your sleep, sitting up and resting your head on his lap. He runs his fingers through your hair gently. People are milling about, snacking and chatting, and he's worried that someone might accidentally wake you.

Maybe if I take them to the empty waiting room across the hall,  they'll be able to sleep peacefully . . . should I wake them?

He considers waking you up, but the more he stares at you, sleeping with your head on his lap, the less he wants to wake you up.

He settles with staying in the chair, and pressing a shushing finger to his lips at anyone who looks at you two, telling them to stay quiet as they near. Some people smile, thinking you two are so cute together.

Kang Hyungu (Kanghyun)

He would want you to sleep well. He'd try to see if the room you were already in was peaceful enough, but if it got too disruptive, he'd move with you to a quieter room.

Hyungu was halfway done with explaining the dumb thing his band members did yesterday when he noticed you were no longer responding. He looks down at you; you had gone from lying on the couch, your head on his lap to softly snoring.

He looks up at the people milling about the room, dressed up in nice formal clothes, suits and dresses. This party is to celebrate one of the staff's wedding, and now that that's all out of the way and everyone is chatting, eating and drinking, he can understand why you're so tired.

He smiles softly, stroking your hair fondly. You look so peaceful, and he's so happy that you trust him enough to fall asleep on him in public. Even though he knows it isn't about that. You were just tired. But still.

Son Dongmyeong (Dongmyeong)

Dongmyeong would find you so adorable. You're his baby after all. His sleepy baby. He'd run his hands through your hair and stroke your cheeks, giggling while trying not to wake you.

Dongmyeong has his arms wrapped around you as you lean against his shoulder. He's noticed several times today that you've been nearly dozing off. Every time he saw your eyes closing, he'd ask if you wanted to lie down, but you shook yourself awake and smiled, shaking your head.

Now, as the day ends, you're finally giving in to your sleepiness. The boys are all hanging out together, celebrating a new follower milestone by eating and singing and hanging out. After about an hour of partying, you and Dongmyeong sat down while watching his members doing karaoke at the top of their lungs.

Despite the sound of Yonghoon almost screaming across the room, while Harin headbangs harder than necessary, Dongmyeong notices you're falling asleep over his shoulder.

"Y/Nie," he murmurs softly.

"Hm?"

"Do you want to sleep?" he asks.

You shake your head, but he notices your eyes are already closed. He giggles and takes your hands gently.

"Lie down," he mumbles. You let him guide you so that your head is on his lap, and almost immediately, you're fast asleep.

He smiles softly, giggling a bit, and pokes your cheek to check if you really are asleep. You let out a groan and shift a bit, but you're definitely asleep.
