k but what if moon is actually the older berlitz, and when her and sun disappear into the ultra wormhole shes declared dead, leaving platina as the only heir to the berlitz family. all the events of dp arc happen during the time they’re stuck in ultra space, and its not until everything has settled down in both alola and sinnoh that they realize moon is still alive
