This was one of my dream cosplays to make. While the Evil Queen is not my favorite Disney villain... I respect/admire her so much. She’s probably my 2nd favorite. I love her grace, her will to dominate... and to a sense we all relate to her vain (but not to the point of murder). Metrocon asked me to be a guest this year... and by golly my brain says “DO THE QUEEN!” even though my bank account said no. To now, I don’t know how much she cost me, but I had to sacrifice a lot of money and health in a span of 1-2 weeks. The Queen is made from my own design and patterns (I make my own). She’s drawn inspiration from her source, the Tokyo villains show, the Venetian Renaissance, the Medieval Ages (several centuries in it), Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit’s Thranduil and the general Middle Ages inspired clothing, Brothers Grimm (film)’s Mirror Queen, and Queen Ravenna.
