very specific assumption is that you’re insane. but actually from the first fic i read of yours before i knew you i was like wow this person is really smart because of the words you use and the way you structure your sentences. like you’re not using big words for the sake of using them, it all just flows very naturally and every time i read something you’ve written i’m like wow. so intelligent. but not in a way that makes Me feel dumb. if that makes #sense
THEA. ok well first of all thank you so much. i love you soooo so so much and you being nice about my brain always makes me smile and giggle and kick my feet in the air. and second. you’re not allowed to be nice to me or my brain before 10 am pst or else i’ll DIE 😭

Celebrate National Soup Month with Soup Catered Right to the Office!
The weather outside may be frightful, so why not warm up with some soup? Even if you're at the office and typing away on a project, soup can be just what you need to get through the rest of the day. January is National Soup Month, and it’s a celebration of this marvelous dish and its many varieties.
Tumblr media
When it comes to workplace and corporate catering, soup can be an underrated dish. It can get lost behind other options like pizza, sandwiches, and taco bars. But soup comes in all kinds of inviting flavors, and it travels well. If you order hot soup for catering Lexington KY corporate lunches, there’s a good chance it’ll arrive nice and warm—and ready to be enjoyed. Not yet convinced it’s time to order some soup for lunch? Here are a few caterable soups to get your mouth watering. Get Nostalgic with Tomato Soup and a Side of Grilled Cheese Tomato soup is one of those classic soups that goes way back. For a lot of people, it was a childhood staple during the winter. Years later, it can be just as good. And you can find variations of tomato soup that take it to new flavor heights. Get creamy tomato soup, tomato and red pepper soup, and tomato basil soup, to name a few. As appealing as tomato soup can be all by itself, it can really shine with a grilled cheese on the side. Luckily, some caterers make it easy to pair a soup with a sandwich like grilled cheese. A grilled cheese sandwich can add an entirely new dimension to tomato soup. Dunking grilled cheese in tomato soup? It doesn’t get much better than that! Savor Broccoli and Cheddar Soup with a Baguette If you’re catering Wilmington NC office lunches during National Soup Month in January, you might put an order in at Panera. They do office catering, and they have a great selection of soups. You can choose from Homestyle Chicken Noodle, Creamy Tomato, and of course, Broccoli Cheddar—a savory, filling soup. When you put in a soup catering order, you also get a side of French Baguette. It may be the perfect accompaniment to broccoli cheddar soup. Broccoli cheddar is a thicker, heartier soup. You can even enjoy the soup with just the baguette! Hearty Veggie Soup with Oyster Crackers A hearty vegetable soup is a great way to get more veggies into your day. Veggie soup can be hearty, savory, and leave you satisfied when the bowl is empty. Many veggie soups are made with a medley of potatoes, carrots, green beans, and onions, but you may have a local soup caterer near your workplace that puts their spin on this staple soup. If you want to take your veggie soup to the next level, don’t forget the oyster crackers. While it’s easy to put oyster crackers to the side and forget about them, they can make a great addition to many different soups, veggie included. They add a little extra body to each bite which can make the soup all the more satisfying. About ezCater Can corporate catering boost your team’s morale, productivity, and workplace satisfaction? Fat Man Eateth: Later Alligator
Tumblr media
The menus at Later Alligator Sometimes you just want to sit down, enjoy a delicious, comforting meal, and not have to shell out half a C-Note in return to enjoy. To this fat guy, when such a situation arises, there's only one place that will do. That's because, for me, there's no more fabulous comfort food than a nice, piping-hot bowl of tomato soup, some crackers, and some bread to dunk in it. It takes me back to when my mom would signal from the window that lunch was ready whilst my friends and I were taking full advantage of a snow day, chucking snowballs, building forts, and sledding up and down the hills of North Park in Wheeling. There was no better feeling than cooling down that first sip of soup by "blowing" away the heat from the spoon and tasting that tomato-y goodness. But where can you find such edible comfort in the Ohio Valley? That would be the Later Alligator at 2145 Market Street in Center Wheeling. Opened in 2006, the "Gator" is one of the foundational pieces of the resurgence and rebranding of the Center Market area of Wheeling. True, Coleman's has always been there, and there are other businesses and shops with a longer tenure in that area. But when Later Alligator first opened, it had a new, trendy feel. It coupled it with outstanding service, a varied selection of food you're hard-pressed to find elsewhere, and the quality and taste to match. That's why it will be open 17 years later when this August rolls around. I ordered the tomato soup and focaccia bread, whilst she opted for the butternut squash soup plus mac & cheese. Our Food Choices I've gone to the Later Gator numerous times during the years, with both family and friends. I've tried multiple items on the menu, from wraps and sandwiches to both sweet and savory crepes. And as an aside, you find a nearly exhaustive crepe menu anywhere in the valley. It's just not possible. But we recently ventured to the Gator not once, but twice, in the last couple of weeks because my girlfriend had never eaten there. So to Wheeling, we ventured. It was such a big hit, that she requested to return a few days later when we found ourselves back on that side of the Ohio River. I opted to get what I seemingly always get when I go to the Gator--tomato & basil soup. It may seem like a basic option, given the number of choices on the menu, but it's just that good. I like to branch out and experience new things, but I just can't bring myself to order anything else. This time, I did add to my order, however, with my first taste of focaccia, a flat Italian-style bread. My girlfriend decided to go the soup route as well, choosing the butternut squash soup, along with an order of Mac & Cheese. I can't speak for her food, as not a fan of butternut squash soup, though I'll say it smelled amazing. She happily enjoyed both her dishes. But the tomato soup never misses, and that day was no different. It comes with a little packet of oyster crackers to provide that crunch. And the focaccia was the perfect complement, with a great taste both on its own, and when dunked into the soup. I can honestly say that if I still lived in Wheeling, I'd be here for lunch at least once a week. It's that good. Try it, and I think you'll agree.
