the day i visited the dental center to get my crown checked out on wednesday last week, there was a single orange and black butterfly that flew across our window view when my mom was driving us back home. when we arrived home and my mom parked her van under the carport, i went to the restroom to urinate and then came back to help take out groceries & to retrieve my pan dulce and my guatemalan tamale that i bought at a panadería named, Delicias Bakery. i bought four big conchas of different colors: pink, yellow, white, and chocolate brown (i've noticed that these are usually the colors bakeries make their conchas in), but i stopped in my tracks when standing at the front end of my mom's van. i spotted the orange and black butterfly that i saw previously on our way back, and she was cooked and dried up but she was also stuck. i grabbed a small branch stick to gently remove her small body, and her wing broke instantly like crunching on Catholic communion wafers and getting the crumbs on the carpet. i assumed she lost her life from the heat of the engine expelling, but i still wanted to remove her from the heat. when i successfully took her off, i went about my way because my mission was accomplished.

i should've moved her to the pile of leaves and brush that lay in my mom's gated off garden where i also layed down to rest my cat Cocoa years before and a few other nameless animals i found around my house.

one time during a spring season in 2019, when my mom drove me to the Poppy Festival [i hate the Poppy Festival; the times i've gone, i've seen no actual poppy flowers, but there's almost always a stand that sells taffy], a mass of butterflies were flying, maybe migrating, but they flew across roads where there were many many many vehicles dashing to and from places. i closed my eyes while sitting in the passenger seat, and i peaked through my slitted fingers. hmmm; cars / automobiles need to begone so nature can take its course without it getting hurt. thank goodness i don't like going out to places unnecessarily anymore.

i do want to return to using the bus for non-emergency activities; i think i would get a reduced bus fare since i was eligible for a "disabled" category TAP card. my TAP card's identification picture makes me cringe but the picture i had on my community college I.D. was way cringier x_x i asked my mom if she could ride the bus with me because i have anxiety [and anxiety is a handicap!] which makes it hard for me to concentrate on my surroundings and bad men who make heart eyes at me [scared]. i could easily fall into an automobile accident fatality statistic. ugh. i've gotten into some silly near death experiences [this could be me being melodramatic but in the moment i felt like i almost got seriously hurt ded] while walking across the crosswalk [a.k.a. danger zone] by myself.

So I finally cracked and made a Security breach oc.

Taffy de Daffy Dulce is a axolotl inspired murfolk animaTronic that has a sweets center of the facility, specializing in sugar/ hard candy. She has a little bowl that she sits in and will pop up if needed.

She has the ability to pull taffy as well as make traditional candy hard candy that can be customized for birthday parties.

Alright May I please have some HC on the type of junk food the legends would get for their s/o?

Bangalore- Anita isn't a big fan of junkfood, especially since she likes to stay as fit as possible for the games, but of course she can't have a few bites. Her favorite treat to share with you are dark chocolate mint truffles.

Bloodhound- Even a great hunter like them can't help delicacies. Anything sour is their favorite. You have to pry away Sour Patch Kids away from them because their mouth starts hurting but they still won't stop.

Caustic- Sweets aren't his thing, so he'll get you the stranger stuff. You know those lollipops with scorpions in them? Yeah he's just joking, he'll get u a simple vanilla lollipop instead and eat the scorpion one himself...

Gilbraltar- Of course his S/O deserves something as sweet as them! He loves to snack with you, so he'll get one of those heart shaped boxes with assorted chocolates. He likes to hand feed you.

Lifeline- Ajay's favorite junkfood, is bubblegum. Any flavor, anytime. She has a pocket especially for it. You two do competitions to see who can blow the biggest bubble. She like to pop yours.

Mirage- Cupcakes! He loves just about any flavor and he loves to make his own. He wants you to be his personal taste tester for the frosting. Frosting fights tend to ensue.

Octane- Popular Latino treats of course. Flan, arroz con leche, dulce de tres leches. Of course it'd be kinda hard to get it in the cafeteria, so you guys just have to make them yourselves.

Pathfinder- Well, he might not be able to eat them with you, or even know if they're good, so he asks around to see what everyone else's favorite treats are. He'll get you a little basket, chocolates, bubblegum, chips, taffy, he just makes you promise not to eat it all at once.

Wattson- Oh she loves just about any sort of junkfood, she knows not to eat too much at one time of course. Croissants, crepes, and her favorite, macarons. She makes them all herself of course. She likes more popular items as well. Sometimes you find her passed out on the couch with her hand in a bowl of buttered popcorn, a glass of fruity wine on the table.

Wraith- Wraith hasn't eaten much junkfood, the IMC scientists didn't exactly care about her satisfaction. So she wants to try everything. She bought a bunch a junkfood an layed it out on the kitchen table. You came home and saw her eyes wide with a handful of tootsie rolls, "Join me."

question for ur OCs (that i stole from discord from a friend who stole it from instagram that she's p sure were taken from tumblr lol): 

1. on a scale of "is occasionally forced to bathe" to "Instagram model with sponsors to h*e for" how involved is your OC's skincare routine?

She washes her face every morning and night, and is generally a clean person, so I'd have to say...'person who cares about their skin's health??' cries, it's hard to gauge something between those two extremes. She doesn't put any product on her face save for maybe when she's burned or has cuts or something. Or lotion, she has lotion.

2. What are your OC's food preferences? (flavors/textures/spiciness/calories/when & how they eat) and how did they get that way? 

Ximena enjoys salt and spice. Extreme salt and spice. The girl loves her chiles, especially when they're fresh. Oddly enough, junk food is a luxury she rarely indulges in, her cravings are more towards meats. Particularly seafood! She likes smooth and chewy textures like yogurt or beef jerky. She doesn't have much of a sweet tooth, preferring mild sweets like m/exican pan dulce or salt water taffies. As a rule, she doesn't like dry textures or hard candy/crunch, she had a bad experience with them as a young child.

Ximena tends to overeat sometimes to the point of stomach-aches because the food given to her at the abbey was way too small (she was malnourished for a while, actually, she didn't get her period until Salazar adopted her and she began to get regular, healthy meals), not out of abuse, but rather 'piety'. Nun diets sucked. They were also vegetarians, and Ximena really really needed protein. 

3. What's something pointless/petty/unimportant that IRRATIONALLY ANNOYS THE HELL out of your OC?

4. What would stop your OC from Doing the Right Thing in a tense situation? 

If it benefited her/her loved ones or not. True neutral until the very end u___u

5. What would cause your OC to choose to do something petty/pointlessly cruel? 

If she felt like it?? Cries.

Uhh, if the person in question was being annoying or genuinely an awful person. She doesn't go out of her way to do stuff like that, but when she does, it's because something the person does or says is taken personally.

6. What song is 100% guaranteed to get your OC beyond turnt and will be sung loudly and embarrassingly, either in public or the shower?

7. What's your OC smell like? No, not that "vanilla and anxiety" evocative stuff, realistically. Body odor? what have they been touching all day? when was their last shower? did they put on any kind of artificial scent?

Just clean honestly. Soap. Hands might smell citrusy because she eats a lot of oranges n peels them by hand. No artificial scent, but when she's older she works about plants a lot, so I guess earthy or clay-like is something she could smell like. Leather too, when she wears that.

Uhh, mint! Her breath, I mean, she brushes her teeth religiously. Uses it in her drinks too. She just smells cold?? idk.
