On his porch down yonder at Canyon Crossing, old Don Gooseman rocks gently in his old wooden chair. His old trusty hound, Gus, waits obediently by his old dusty boots, and his old faithful steed, Duke, isn't far behind, grazin' on some prairie grass nearby. He don't need no free earbuds, Don's got the symphony of the creaking floorboards, the fiddlin' crickets, and frogs a' hummin'.

It's a night just like any other ol' night, or so Don thought. But things take a curious little turn when Duke begins to neigh in a panicked frenzy and Gus starts to whimper. Don: [Looks behind him] What's gotten into you, feller?

Before Don could finish his sentence, he turns back to see a pulsating glow coming from the window of the rental cabin. Now, Don's eyes ain't what they used to be, but in all his years, he don't recall ever seein' nothin' like that before.

Don: What in the buckin’ bronco two-bit tarnation?

Jasmine's mare, Sunny, who the Goosemans purchased for her when they were both wee little ones.

Don retired (from his job as a Super Villain lol? idk yall he was very high level in the career when we added him to the household....) a while before his death and completed the Champion Horse Rider aspiration, mostly with his horse Duke, but he also trained Sunny up to pretty high skills and won quite a few trophies with her as well.

She's a good horse :)

Turns out she was talking about ol' Duke, Don Gooseman's horse!

Yes Zaccy thought he was hallucinating when Duke appeared in our kitchen, but alas...he was not!

- Here they are, the participants of the Summer Race. There are no participants from outside the Black Spire region this year, due to the political situation that's teetering at the brink of a civil war. There's also only a single alien this year and much to the First Order's dismay he's the frontrunner.

- The technicalities of the summer race:

The sims enter a beginner race at the equestrian center (rabbit hole) and try to place.

Most likely everyone will place, so the sims who get first place will race again the next day.

Repeat until all ties are broken.

Featured Father - Don Gooseman

Don is a townie so he does come with some prewritten history that I have added onto. Mentor to Sienna and Umber's mother, this legendary Horse Champion retired and settled in Galloping Gulch with his trusty steed, Duke, to live a life of simple pleasures. Don and Duke enjoy the spoils of their hard work in the vast beauty of the Gulch. At some point into his retirement he ended up meeting McKenna and they clicked quickly. It took a few tries for McKenna to get pregnant, and while she was taking the pregnancy test that told her she was pregnant, Don died. McKenna already had two kids at this point, Alice and Bethany. Alice was a toddler and witnessed the death. When the Grim Reaper showed up McKenna pleaded for Don's life and it was spared. A short time later though, he did die from old age. Charlotte never got to meet him. Because he died so long ago his urn/tombstone is nowhere to be found to be put in the cemetery. No idea what happened to Duke.

Child's Corner

Charlotte was the 3rd child born to McKenna Lew. She had an easier time reaching her goals as a child and teenager and could have graduated before her older sister Bethany, but waited until Bethany was ready and then they graduated together and then moved out together and in with a Spellcaster named Advik Anand. As a teenager Charlotte dated the same guy as her older sister Alice so it didn't phase her when both she and Bethany tried seducing Advik to get pregnant. Neither of them were successful. Charlotte ended up having a science baby named Eric. At some point Charlotte got a job as an astronaut and is currently a Space Ranger at SpaceY. Bethany no longer lives in the house and Advik died from old age awhile back. He is in the cemetery. Advik's son Elmer is still in the house. Charlotte adopted a cat named Porkchop and then Eric met Fanny Marut on the dating app and moved her in. She got pregnant very quickly and now they have a daughter named Justine. Charlotte is an elder and most likely the next one of McKenna's children to die. She didn't have as many pregnancies as Alice or Bethany so she aged up quicker.

Picture order is: Charlotte, Eric, Fanny, Porkchop, Elmer. Justine is still a newborn so there is no picture yet.
