#dude went from being a gang enforcer to a father of six and grandfather of two

I’m spending the holidays (yuck) with my parents, going to stay the night and have Christmas Day with them and then leave after dinner, etc. But since Saturday I’ve been fighting off a head cold, that’s what happens when I spend half of my time going in and out of hospitals with a lousy immune system, even while wearing face masks.

Anyway, my overly enthusiastic father who’s been planning to make sure everything is perfect for my visit was told yesterday by my mom that I’m not feeling well. He apparently got very upset and then asked my mother why I couldn’t still come, that they could take care of me if I was sick!

Lmao, I was like: dude, firstly it’s a cold not the black plague, I don’t need to be babied, I’m fine. Secondly, I’m a grown ass woman, calm down. And thirdly, I never said I wasn’t still going to come for the visit.

You know, for a big bad ex-con that at 72 years old still has the strength to bend welded steel in half without even trying, the man is a huge softie. Seriously, apparently the pout that he had when he thought I wasn’t visiting for the holidays was huge! I wish my mom had gotten a picture of it 😂
