Backstory ish:

Glyder was an RAF engine who worked at the RAF base in Marham, They like many of their siblings would pull weapons and parts for the fighter jets. One day during a routine service check Glyders owner was approached by Sir Robert Noramby in 1984, He had asked if Glyder would like to live at his estate and pull special war based historical trains with his other war engine Stanley. Glyder agreed and they just have been living on Sodor.

I did kinda gave up writing a full on backstory.
