from the day she was born, she was handed a birth right to do all the things her mother couldn't.
it was a pretty-woman situation - her mother nataliya had run away from her poverty stricken and abusive family and began hanging around the rich men of beverly hills - getting bartending jobs at country clubs, working as a hostess at some of the most elite restaurants and anything to keep money in her pockets so she could pursue her dreams and become a star.
she was beautiful, painfully so, and so much so that it didn't take long for her to have one of the richest men in beverly hills wrapped around her finger. seeing a way to live a comfortably life and her road to success being handed to her, she purposely got pregnant and was ready for the fairytale she always longed for. but the funny thing about fairytales, is that they aren't real.
leaving her a multi-million dollar settlement to pretend that they never met, the man fled to dubai and left nataliya to raise the baby all by herself.
when mila was born and nataliya saw her big blue eyes, she knew that she was going to turn her into the star that she didn't get to be.
keeping a roster of men to fund her and her daughter's life, she taught mila at a young age to hustle, to lie and bat her lashes to get whatever it was that she wanted in this world. but not only did her mother lie to all of these men that she had wrapped around her finger, but she lied to mila.
nataliya was completely controlling over mila and her career. mila never went to school and instead, was homeschooled by the most prestigious tutors money could buy, but education wasn't important to her mother - beauty and fame was. it started off with having her compete in pageants at a young age, where she got scouted by a top modeling agency and from there, she began getting cast in various projects.
her childhood and teenage years was defined by nothing but hard work - a young girl having to act much older than she was and because of that, was treated as if she was much older by people in hollywood.
however, unlike most young starlets, she never faltered. never succumbed to the pressures of partying, and drugs and excess that most girls who had been thrust into the spotlight so young did. she handled it with grace and carried the weight of the world on her shoulders as if it were as light as a feather.
she started to notice a trend in the movies she was being cast in - the overly sexualized girl, specifically in her most renowned role in the tv show 'baywatch' known for nothing other than her beauty. and in her early twenties, she began to snap back at her mother, pushing to do more serious films and roles and to step back from the modeling world all together, which her mother would never allow.
after much debate over mila's career, she officially cut ties with her mother when she was twenty five - retiring from the entertainment industry as a whole and enrolling in UCLA.
spending the next five years putting all of her focus in school, she double majored in entertainment law and public relations and at thirty years old, graduated at the top of her class.
five years later, she's a force in the industry. she's done countless ted talks, has her own podcast and works tirelessly as agent and publicist to the stars, helping them carve their own paths, since she has seen far too many stars fall off the rails.

Exploring The Benefits Of Nursery Schools And Preschools In Dubai
Are you concerned that your child is still too young to be placed in an environment with structures? Do you worry about how they will handle the situation? You don't have to be tense, though. Preschool Application Form is only going to benefit your child.Preschool offers youngsters a number of benefits in Nursery Schools In Dubai.  In addition to learning about numbers, letters, and shapes, they also get social and emotional development and learn how to get along with other kids. The kids also pick up on contributing and sharing. Pre-reading abilities are improved when children enter kindergarten from high-quality preschools. Their vocabulary expands, and their proficiency in fundamental math abilities improves. These are all preferable to those who choose not to enrol in kindergarten. Start pushing for kindergarten because it will be beneficial for your child.
Tumblr media
The children between the ages of three and six are like tiny sponges. They have a larger capacity than you may realise. You ought to use this time wisely as a parent. The time is necessary to teach the young children all the life skills they will need. To give your kids a head start in the classroom at this age, consider homeschooling them. However, you can only do this if you have a background in early childhood teaching.
However, homeschooling may not be successful in helping your child acquire the social and emotional skills that are most crucial for their future. A child develops all of these abilities by interacting with other kids their age.
The learning foundation laid in preschool is excellent. Socially and academically, this is relevant. Young kids are highly inquisitive and perceptive, according to research. They desire to gain the abilities that are in high demand. Assembling a toy, for instance, requires reading the instructions. Choosing the appropriate currency, such as coins or banknotes, to complete the payment. For the purpose of preparing students for the intellectual demands of school, teachers constantly provide a wide range of games. As a result, they will be able to develop both the social and academic abilities they need. Preschool is always a place where you can experience being in a structured environment. For Westfield Nursery School, download the preschool application form. Children can develop their ability to cooperate and obey rules. As soon as a question.

Home Schooling and the Question of Socialization: What Homeschooled Adolescents think
Homeschooling can be a very effective form of education for one child if there is proper knowledge. This system will help children to learn at home with due consideration. Families want homeschool benefits with versatility, and educational benefits are house-school results.
Homeschooling is an increasingly social and educational activity. It is an alternative way of education in which parents take the influence of their children's education. Homeschooling, which was once considered a progressive phenomenon, is now widely accepted as a viable alternative to conventional schools. Homeschooled children have the required codes of conduct and systems of convictions and behaviors. They have high self-esteem and are less likely to have behavioral problems. They will be far more experienced in society and have stronger leadership abilities than other adolescents. According to research, homeschool parents want their children's social skills to be at least as good as those of other kids, for their children to be accepted and get along with people from different backgrounds, and for their children to have various social opportunities outside of their families.iCademy Middle East is an American School of Dubai that is NEASC accredited and serves students in Kindergarten to Grade 12. We are completely accredited by the KHDA and offer NCAA-approved courses. Students in our program are provided with a completely interactive, rich online curriculum. As a leading American School of Dubai, iCademy Middle East provides some guidance on this subject.
Tumblr media
Homeschooled students often outperform their peers on various social indicators, such as teamwork, accountability, and self-control.iCademy Middle East provides easy-to-use technology to help students excel at American International School Dubai. Learning is becoming more available with video tutorials, subtitles, and integrated reading courses, to name a few methods. This past year, students at American International School Dubai and the Middle East had various choices to choose from here. However, our iCademy Middle East can provide significant advantages, especially for determined students.iCademy Middle East is an American online curriculum that offers students across the UAE and the world an online educational opportunity. We are accredited to the NEASC and KHDA and provide a learning process from grades K to 12. Adolescents are increasingly able to compare, contrast, develop and embody different viewpoints, views, principles, and objectives that contribute to direct decisions and conduct. That allows them to create a more distinct sense of themselves and others and a more differentiated worldview, including how they see themselves in the world and how they can find a position.
According to research, homeschooling parents believe their children's social skills are as strong as those of other adolescents. What homeschoolers think about their social skills is less obvious. They are also more proficient than SSRS(the System for Improving Social Skills) but not more - and, in some cases, smaller - than traditional school groups.NATURALLY, the SSRS standardization study was much larger and more representative than the samples used in those studies of American schoolchildren. Nevertheless, given such contradictory findings, the best hypothesis might be that homeschool children assume their social skills are similar to those of other children before more testing is made available.
On the other hand, homeschool children showed a better attitude towards teachers/coaches, better relations with parents, greater self-esteem, and more positive social relationships than other children. The social skills of homeschool young children were significantly higher, while hyperactivity, violence, behavior disorders, depression, concentration problems, learning problems, and atypical behavior were significantly classified higher in the classrooms of students. Homeschool children are more likely to be courageous than traditional school children. Homeschoolers, as adolescents and adults, are less prone to illegal and antisocial behavior than others. The faith of their parents is strongly influenced, but this is not unique to homeschoolers. There are several reasons why the socialization experiences of homeschool children can be very effective. Parents have some advantages compared to other socializing participants in children's lives—peers, teachers, media, and organizations. They would have a long-lasting and mutual friendship, intimate awareness of the individual needs of their children, and a shared concern for the wellbeing of children. Perhaps most importantly, socialization is most effective when it takes place in a supportive and responsive relationship. The location of education for children at home will help ensure that more of their socialization experience is part of that partnership. Remember that homeschooling is a resource, and if used affectionately, it will lead to better family life! When searching for a forum to complete your child or homeschooling, choose Icademy Middle East with growing popularity as a parent. In the USA and worldwide, we are one of the top online education schools for quality online education. Homeschooling is the best resource for studies at home. Parents are usually the first and most powerful source of social support in children's lives.

Distractions in traditional schooling; How it can demotivate your child
The traditional school plays a significant role in helping students learn to engage with their colleagues and teachers. You know and further improve good interpersonal skills through encounters in the classroom and on the playground. Distracting the attention of a person or group is the process by which the reception of requested information is blocked or reduced. The focal area is wanted. Interior distractions including hunger, exhaustion, disease, concern and daydreaming also occur. A range of incidents, such as public humiliation, dismal test results, or even disagreements with pupils, is easily considered by classroom practitioners. In reality, there is no pervasive demotivation in schools, and the number of pupils who have been demotivated is increasing. And many parents choose their children as a permanent measure to their home schools themselves. The home is more than a conventional school for these families. They feel that homeschooling can better meet the natural abilities and requirements of a child than formal schooling.
Tumblr media
A high-quality academic program is provided by the International School of Switzerland, which encourages pupils to reflect and participate in the learning process. ISBerne pupils are well equipped for the future through our IB programs and understand the cultural variety, cooperation, and self-study. An abroad study in Switzerland will enrich a student's education through additional socialization and community and contribute to the personal growth and international exposure of a student. Thanks to its open-minded international student community, the International School of Bern campus is excellent for a semester experience abroad. Isberne, International School Switzerland, provides support and counseling to students at home to help them reach and track their goals. We believe that homeschooling enables students' interests, aspirations, and ambitions to be pursued.  Isberne Homeschooling provides children with the most excellent homeschooling options based on their needs and improves their academic progress. Our instructors focus on education in a more advanced traditional classroom setting, devoid of distraction or disruption from our online status during a lecture. Isberne is one of the most important international schools in Switzerland. We provide a diverse range of specialized education classes.
Distractions in traditional schooling; the Following Factor demotivates your child.
The structure and awarding of rewards demotivate students. The system and distribution of awards in a course can support or discourage efforts in several crucial ways. First, if students don't feel that their time and effort will be paid, they can lose the drive to work on specific tasks. For example, if the knowledge is not needed for examinations and functions, students may not keep up with lectures for a class. Secondly, if the time and effort necessary are inconsistent with the points they would gain, students may not execute a task well.
Third, suppose your efforts in these fields are not paid. In that case, the pupils may lose the incentive to work on specific work components (for example, if an instructor urges students to write original arguments but bases grades primarily on organization and mechanics). Fourth, the awarding of prizes can influence motivation in addition to the structure of incentives. For example, if the instructor does not distinguish between good and poor performance, pupils may not be inspired to strive for perfection. Moreover, pupils' motivation will likely be affected by the confusing or uneven application of the grading criteria.
Strategies:Students will be more encouraged to pay attention to their lectures if they realize how they will be helped in tests if they know it will help them in papers, and if they are aware it will help them with their final project, they can make optional problems. Therefore, the components of your course must be achieved so that students' qualifications and know-how are utilized and applied elsewhere in a class, especially on high-level examinations and apprenticeships, through low-level tasks (e.g., attending lectures, reading, or completing homework problems).
If the time and effort necessary to carry out a task are inconsistent with its point worth, pupils cannot be motivated to spend the requisite effort. It is crucial to assess if your graduation structure pays tribute to the work you intend to do. That does not mean that all tasks should have the highest values to ensure students are challenging at work. For instance, low-stake tasks such as in-class tests can motivate students to keep readings up and prepare for the debate. The aim is to reinforce, rather than demotivate, and the grading structure link between work and reward.
Suppose students do not understand the instructor's grades or feedback criteria or perceive that they are unfairly, unjustly, or arbitrarily implemented. In that case, motivation may be significantly affected by lowering a sense of control of results by the students. That particularly applies to unpleasant comments and poor grades, but it can also happen if pupils get good grades if they don't see why the quality has earned their work. Consequently, the teachers need to explain their criteria adequately. Students may notice a difference between their level of performance and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses about these criteria.

EUPHORIA; Eren x Fem!Reader
This story takes place in New York (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island) or a city similar.
Most characters in the book are 18+
Y/n has no specific race but is hint to be more of a poc character. (Curly short hair, darker skin)
As long as I could remember I've lived in New York. My family's company is originally based in New York but it's spread across the nation due to its success. My parents are, well we're very strict, tough loving specimens. My father was occupied 24/7 with board meetings, traveling around the world shaking hands with famous foreign business men.
My mother was a beauty, she was full of herself. She was the walking definitely of Seven deadly sins, the sin of pride. She didn't talk to lower classmen if they didn't make six figure income she didn't associate with them.
Unfortunately my parents died when I was entering middle school. Due an airplane accident, they were going to a press conference in Dubai when there was a terrible malfunction with the plane radio. I honestly didn't know how to feel about.
I'm biologically my dad's but not my mother. My father had an affair with a famous biologist that was working for the company at the time.
My father never had the best relationship with my mother and she always made it balnty obvious that she was seeing other men. Due to their social status they had to act happy even though they were falling apart.
I had a horrible relationship with my mother. She would make fun of my curly hair and say it wasn't natural or at least wasn't pretty enough.
Taunting me about my skin.
My father, He always thought I was gorgeous, and my beauty was a gift to the naked eye. He supported me no matter what even with everything that happened between me and mother he still didn't care.
There was my sibling Hange their non-binary. Hange has always been the bright light that kept me going, their creativity would burst through the sky like fireworks.
They are also very intelligent. Even though preparing as the older sibling to be in charge of the company when dad steps down was their calling. They were more interested is scientific stuff (Archeology, biology, paleontology).
But due to the accident their thought of going to college and studying about the earth was cut short. Only at 19 they took the position as ceo.
With the causes and effects of our parents one of our biggest problems was paparazzi. Paparazzi had a great effect on my life with my anxiety issues.
All the attention, my name in the media. It made me cry.
I stopped going to in person school and did homeschooling for my high school. I was able graduate due to my academic skills, events I did to help the school and after school activities.
I know Hange has been stressed to own a multi million dollar company at 20, but we've been able to adjust. With the money make and the savings were able to live in some-what luxury, even though I don't see Hange as much as I can.
But today is the day I move in on campus, Hopefully I can make some friends.

Homeschooling for a Down Syndrome Kid: How to motivate your child?
Down syndrome is a situation in which a kid has an extra chromosome. Usually, chromosomes are small DNA molecules of genes in the body. They determine how a kid's body forms and functions as it grows during pregnancy and after birth. The extra chromosome affects the brain of a child and body development. It damages the brain, intellectual disability and mood swings. In this condition, the kids who have down syndrome cannot study like normal children. If a parent has chosen to homeschool a child with down syndrome, you must consult with the other families who used that customized education for their kids. Special issues related to down syndromes like weak auditory processing. The lack of speech issues and many other medical concerns. That's why kids do not meet the requirements of a public or private school system.
Tumblr media
When a kid has down syndrome, one of the most helpful things about online schooling, parents can teach their kid as much about it as they can. Parents can search online programs and resources to help their children. Homeschooling gives the flexibility to mix and match the programs, tools and curricula for down syndrome children.
Homeschooling provides excellent services for these types of kids all over the world. iCademy Middle East is NEASC accredited, An American School in Dubai for kindergarten through Grade 12 Students. iCademy is licensed by the KHDA and gives NCAA eligible courses. They are offering lessons through the support of a certified teacher, interactive activities and led virtual physical classroom sessions. Students can study with iCademy from anywhere at any time, wherever in the world. iCademy is a part of Pansophic education, a US-based education company operating in Dubai since 2007. Over 600 students educate the current school year and have enrolled over 4000 students during passing years of operation. iCademy enrollment is open for every student around the globe also for down syndrome kids. They are giving Best Homeschooling in the U.A.E. Their iCad+ group is a unique environment in Dubai to moderate learning difficulties. By working in this small category, they can focus on students with a range of special education needs.
iCademy Middle East schools events like sports day, national day, trips and camps. iCad+ provides services for students with the following diseases,
Difficulties in General Learning
Dyscalculia, Dyslexia
ADD/ADHD
Down Syndrome and Asperger Syndrome
Auditory Processing Issues
Speed and Communication Difficulties and anxiety issues etc.
Its goal is to provide personalized education for students with a wide range of educational programs according to students interests.
Homeschooling has multiple benefits for down syndrome kids:
They can take a class at any time of the day-night.
They can stop and start instruction as they need the whole day with frequent breaks.
They have the opportunity to change methods or programs when something is not working well.
They have time to schedule for therapies during school hours.
