It’s so bitterly cold here in the Midwest USA, I wish I could be hanging with hunky guys in Dubai or something for Christmas. You think you could help me with that man?
You should have landed at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport by now. But because of a snowstorm, you were diverted to Chicago O'Hare International Airport. This cursed journey to the holidays is getting worse by the minute. And if you drink another beer to drown your frustration, you're going to puke. But right now you need to take a piss. You find it a little difficult to get up. Firstly, because of the alcohol in your blood. On the other hand, because you've become a real heavyweight since last Christmas. A bit more exercise and less eating and drinking would also do you a lot of good…
The toilet is empty. It's amazing that so many people are stranded here so close to the holidays… And there's a sports bag by the washbasin. And it's still there when you come back from the urinals. Not a soul in sight… Could there be a bomb in there? A normal and sober person would now inform the security service. But you are definitely not sober. So you grab the bag. And in a reasonably quiet corner, you check the contents. Jackpot! Not much special. Sportswear, a white nightgown… And a wallet with quite a lot of cash, a passport from the UAE and above all: a flight ticket to SHJ. No idea what and where that is. But you have to change planes at JFK and DOH. That sounds exotic. It certainly sounds better than Kansas. Boarding starts in 20 minutes. As best you can with your beer belly, you walk towards the gate.
When you arrive at the gate, boarding is almost complete. The ground crew member asks you for your boarding pass and passport. Shit, you didn't even think about the fact that you don't look like your passport photo. The guy looks at your passport, looks at you, grins and wishes you a good flight. As you pass him, you hear him say to his colleague that you've really become a fat pig since the photo was taken. Well, that's probably your luck in this case.
You have a layover of over five hours at JFK. You heard in the in-flight program that the TWA Hotel & Fitness Center at JFK is supposed to be the largest hotel gym in the world. You really need a gym. And you have time too. So you set off. Not much sporting activity is to be expected from you. But after an hour of power walking on the treadmill and half an hour on the cross trainer, your new sports clothes from the bag you found are soaked with sweat. But you feel fit. Really fit. As you stand in front of the mirror after your shower, you run your hands over your stomach. Flat and hard. When you tense your muscles. That's how it should be. And you get rid of the rest of the fat too. It sucks with the beard. You shaved your beard for Thanksgiving. Because you were invited to a friend's parents' house. You didn't want to scare them off with your beard. But now the beard hasn't grown back the way you'd hoped. Your mother will scold you terribly.
You grab a salad and a protein shake at the bar in the gym. You want to sleep on the plane. The food on board is delicious and plentiful, but not good for your body. To make sleeping on board quicker, you put on just a tank top and jogging suit for the flight. It takes you a good twelve hours to reach Doha. You want to use this time to arrive home well-rested.
At boarding, the ground staff greet you in Arabic. Of course. As usual. It's nice to study in the USA. But you don't have to stay with the infidels in winter. You're now looking forward to the warm sun in the Gulf. The person sitting next to you is a non-believer. And obviously not familiar with Qatar Airways' in-flight catering. She has brought a large portion of chicken wings with fries from KFC on board. You almost feel sick. She offers you something. You flex your biceps and say in English with a heavy Arabic accent that you can't get these babies at KFC.
The flight was quiet, apart from the brief interruption during which you fucked the infidel chick in the airplane toilet. You'll have to do without a wet pussy for the next few weeks. Hehehe, but your cousins and your bruhs have tight asses. That works at least as well. You only have just under two hours in Doha before the last flight segment. You quickly go to the airport mosque, do your ablutions and sunset prayers, change into your spotless white dishdasha and board the plane to Sharjah. Over the next few weeks, you are the perfect son again. You will enjoy it. And as soon as the crazy holidays of the infidels are over, you'll be looking forward to fucking, drinking and partying again!
I found the last picture of you before you change to immaculate white at @alphaincar

There's this tendency among delusional lefties and liberals (in the west and in India) to think that because they defend Muslim people from Islamophobia (as one should, Islamophobia is bad), that somehow Muslim people aren't as conservative, regressive and antithetical to the ideas of the left as their Christian and Hindu counterparts.
And then you end up with situations like this.
So, Islamophobia is rampant in the west and in India and it was particularly bad in the 2000s. That's when defending Muslim people from hate became an important part of liberal values. And I repeat, THAT'S GOOD. It's important to defend people from hateful bigotry.
But I feel that liberals have ended up becoming useful idiots for Muslim extremism. Take, for example, the rampant anti-Semitism from the left whenever people discuss Israel, or how western liberals completely refuse to acknowledge any wrongdoing done against Israel, or that Israel is the only country in that region where women and LGBT people have anything remotely resembling equal rights. Even when you highlight that these facts do not justify Israel's abuses against the Palestinian people, simply mentioning these points instantly makes you a Zionist pig,
Meanwhile, American universities have received huge grants from Middle Eastern countries, both in terms of money but also subsidised land (and kafala slave labour) to build international campuses in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha etc. This appears to be a plan to turn liberal academia into apologists of Islamic fundamentalism.
Islam is the world's largest religion. Oil states are spending literally trillions of dollars on white washing, sports washing and green washing the human rights abuses committed in its name.
Islamophobia is bad because Muslims are no worse than Christians or Hindus or Jews.
But they're also no better.
If you feel "betrayed" that a majority Muslim city council passed anti-LGBTQ+ legislation, then you're an idiot. Being gay is punishable by death in almost every Muslim majority country in the world. How fucking stupid are you?
If you're on The Left, then you have to come to terms with the fact that religion is your enemy. All religions are your enemy. Defend people from bigotry but don't let them turn you into a tool for their bigotry. The enemy of your enemy is not your friend.
#the post that will get me cancelled#i expect people to start calling me a Hindutva bigot now#which is funny because Hindutva bigots call me a Jihadi sympathizer

Dubai Rises to 15th in Global Cost of Living Ranking for International Employees
Dubai has climbed three places to become the world's 15th most expensive city for international employees, according to Mercer's 2024 Cost of Living City Ranking. The surge in Dubai's cost of living is primarily attributed to a significant increase in property rentals post-pandemic. Three-bedroom property rents saw a 15% year-on-year rise, while rents increased by 21% from 2023 to 2024, marking one of the highest jumps among major cities.
Real estate consultancy Asteco highlights that rent prices in popular areas like Jumeirah Islands, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Sports City, Dubai Hills Estate, and Damac Hills have soared by up to 100% since the pandemic. This dramatic rise is largely due to an influx of foreign workers.
Mercer's survey covered 226 cities across five continents, evaluating the costs of over 200 items, including housing, transportation, food, clothing, household goods, and entertainment. New York City was used as the base city, with currency movements measured against the US dollar.
Apart from housing, the increase in Dubai’s cost of living is also driven by higher prices for groceries and personal care items, such as eggs, olive oil, and coffee. Conversely, the prices of petrol, haircuts, and blue jeans have decreased between March 2023 and March 2024.
Regionally, Tel Aviv is the next most expensive city in the Middle East, dropping to the 16th position. Abu Dhabi ranks 43rd, followed by Riyadh (90), Jeddah (97), Amman (108), Manama (110), Kuwait City (119), Doha (121), and Muscat (122).
Globally, Hong Kong remains the most expensive city, followed by Singapore, with Zurich, Geneva, and Basel completing the top five. At the other end of the spectrum, Abuja, Lagos, and Islamabad are ranked as the least expensive cities for international employees.

The Maldives has one main international airport called Velana International Airport, located on Hulhulé Island near the capital city, Male. This airport is well-connected to several major cities around the world.

a. Valid Passport: Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from the date of entry.

III. Choosing the Perfect Island
When it comes to choosing the perfect island in the Maldives, there are various options to consider, each offering a unique experience. Understanding the different types of islands available, including resort islands, local islands, and private islands, can help you make an informed decision based on your preferences and budget.
Resort islands are the most popular choice for tourists visiting the Maldives. These islands are exclusively developed for tourism, offering luxurious accommodations, world-class amenities, and a wide range of recreational activities. With pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and stunning coral reefs, resort islands provide an idyllic tropical getaway. They often feature multiple restaurants, spas, water sports facilities, and entertainment options. However, keep in mind that staying on a resort island can be quite expensive, especially at high-end luxury resorts.
On the other hand, local islands offer a more authentic and affordable experience. These islands are inhabited by local Maldivian communities, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the local culture and way of life. Accommodation options on local islands include guesthouses and small hotels, which are typically more budget-friendly compared to resorts. While the facilities and amenities may be simpler, local islands offer a chance to interact with locals, explore local markets, and engage in community-based activities. It's worth noting that alcohol may not be readily available on local islands due to religious and cultural considerations.
Private islands provide the ultimate exclusive and secluded experience. These islands are typically owned by individuals, resorts, or luxury hotel chains, offering complete privacy and personalized services. Private islands often feature lavish villas or bungalows, private beaches, and exclusive amenities such as private pools and personal butlers. While staying on a private island can be a luxurious and unforgettable experience, it comes with a higher price tag.
When selecting the ideal island, consider your preferences and budget. If you desire luxury, relaxation, and a wide range of amenities, a resort island would be the best choice. If you prefer a more budget-friendly and immersive experience, opt for a local island. For those seeking privacy, exclusivity, and personalized services, a private island would be the perfect fit.
To make an informed decision, research online guides and reports from fellow travelers. Read reviews and recommendations to get a better understanding of each island's unique features and offerings. Consider factors such as accessibility, activities, dining options, and special packages or promotions. Finally, determine your budget and prioritize your preferences to find the perfect island that meets your needs and ensures an unforgettable Maldivian vacation.

Whether you're an experienced diver or a beginner snorkeler, the Maldives' iconic underwater beauty promises an enchanting adventure. Immerse yourself in this world of vibrant colors, diverse marine life, and awe-inspiring natural wonders, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
2. Captivating Sandbanks
The Maldives is renowned for its breathtaking sandbanks that beckon visitors with their captivating beauty. Among the most mesmerizing sandbanks in the Maldives are Baros Sandbank and Gulhi Sandbank, both offering idyllic spots for sunbathing, relaxation, and immersing oneself in the serenity of nature.
Baros Sandbank, located near Baros Island, is a paradise for beach lovers. This pristine stretch of soft, powdery sand emerges from the turquoise waters, forming a picturesque landmass. The sandbank is ideal for leisurely walks, basking under the tropical sun, and relishing the awe-inspiring panoramic views of the surrounding ocean. Travelers are encouraged to visit during low tide when the sandbank is at its fullest, allowing for ample space to unwind and soak up the sun's rays.
Gulhi Sandbank, situated near the inhabited island of Gulhi, is another enchanting destination for sun seekers. This hidden gem boasts crystalline waters and a vast expanse of gleaming white sand. Its secluded location offers a peaceful retreat for those seeking solitude and tranquility amidst nature's splendor. Snorkeling enthusiasts will be thrilled to discover vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life near the sandbank. Remember to bring your snorkeling gear for an unforgettable underwater adventure.
To make the most of your sandbank experience, it is essential to choose the best time to visit. The Maldives enjoys a tropical climate, characterized by two distinct seasons: the dry season (from November to April) and the wet season (from May to October). The dry season offers the most favorable weather conditions, with minimal rainfall and abundant sunshine. This period, especially between December and March, is ideal for visiting sandbanks, as the clear skies and calm seas enhance the beauty of these natural wonders.

World Cup Fans Are Feeling 'Flighty'
Overwhelmed hospitality? No alcohol? Overpriced hotels? It really is no surprise why people would rather take daily commuter flights into Qatar than stay there!
World Cup fans are so inconvenienced by the championship’s setting–Doha, Qatar–that they’re taking daily flights into the city to see the games. Qatar built eight stadiums to host the 64 games of the FIFA World Cup, scattered around the capital city of Doha. They were closely grouped specifically so fans wouldn’t have to travel far between matches (a problem in several recent years, such as 2016…

Amanda Kotaja is a stunning, 25 year old Track and Field athlete from Finland.
Amanda has been a wheelchair user for all her life. She was born with spina bifida, a congenital condition which left her paralyzed from the waist down and without any feeling in her lower limbs.
She started practicing athletics when she was just seven years old. It soon became clear that she was a promising wheelchair racer. In high school, it was often difficult for Amanda to combine her studies and her training program. Luckily, at age 16, Amanda was admitted to the Mäkelänrinne Sports High School in Helsinki. There, she had the opportunity to customize her study program in such a way that it didn't interfere with her busy training schedule.
Amanda won a silver medal and three gold medals at the World Para Athletics Championships in 2013(Lyon, France), 2015(Doha, Qatar), 2017(London, UK) and 2019(Dubai, UAE). She also won four gold medals at the European Championships in 2012(Stadskanaal, The Netherlands), 2014(Swansea, England) and 2018(Berlin, Germany).
Unfortunately, the Paralympic Games of 2012 in London and 2016 in Rio were a disappointment for Amanda. With her recently improved training program and the help of a mental coach, she is now aiming for at least one gold medal in Tokyo in 2021!

“Starting Neom from scratch, with independent systems and regulations, will ensure the availability of best services without social limitations,” he said at Neom’s first board meeting, according to the documents.
Neom is the biggest, and most ambitious, in a series of futuristic cities that Gulf leaders have developed to help diversify away from oil dependence. In the United Arab Emirates, Dubai and Abu Dhabi have become major commercial hubs, as has Qatar’s capital, Doha.
Saudi Arabia’s crown prince wants to fill a barren stretch of desert with a Jetsons-style city-state of the future. The project, outlined in planning documents produced by a group of U.S. consultants, is so ambitious that it incorporates some technologies that don’t even exist yet.
1. Flying Taxis: Scientists might take a flying taxi to work. “Driving is just for fun, no longer for transportation (e.g. driving Ferrari next to the coast with a nice view),” planning documents show.
2. Cloud Seeding: The desert won’t always feel like the desert. “Cloud seeding” could make it rain.
3. Robot Maids: Don’t worry about household chores. While scientists are at work, their homes would be cleaned by robot maids.
4. State-of-the-Art Medical Facilities: Scientists would work on a project to modify the human genome to make people stronger.
5. World Class Restaurants: There would be fine dining galore in a city with the “highest rate of Michelin-starred restaurants per inhabitant.”
6. Dinosaur Robots: Residents could visit a Jurassic Park-style island of robot reptiles.
7. Glow-in-the-Dark Sand: The crown prince wants a beach that glows in the dark, like the face of a watch.
8. Alcohol: Alcohol is banned in the rest of Saudi Arabia. But it likely won’t be here, say people familiar with the plan.
9. Robot Martial Arts: Robots would do more than just clean your house. They also could spar head to head in a “robo-cage fight,” one of many sports on offer.
10. Security: Cameras, drones and facial-recognition technology are planned to track everyone at all times.
11. Moon: A giant artificial moon would light up each night. One proposal suggests it could live-stream images from outer space, acting as an iconic landmark.
How is this real? Who gave this list to the Wall Street Journal? I demand to speak to someone’s manager.
