ever since the moment luciana was born her life was orchestrated , almost like performance art . there wasn't a time she could remember when eyes weren't on her and her family . her parents had always been the type of people that wanted it to seem as though they had the picture perfect family . pristine , almost to the point where the family seemed plastic . and that's just how they wanted it to seem . the wealthy and elite family all smiles and handshakes . all fancy parties and sucking up to all the right people . all the people that could get them further into that life of wealth and fame .

luciana and her older brother were dragged along to anything and everything their parents could get them into . a way to show the world they had something they didn't . . . that their family had everything . the perfect little family , the riches , the fame . . . it was everything the money and fame hungry parents wanted , even if it was anything but the truth .

a question , was the life they lead really all that perfect or great ? not at all . luciana knew at a young age how dysfunctional her family was . the way they said one thing to the world but everything was completely opposite or different inside . . . it confused her . the constant distrust in the people around her and this loneliness she had never been able to let go of began to creep onto her until it swallowed her whole .

the moment she was able to be put in front of a camera , luciana's parents made sure of it . putting her in the hands of any and every person in the industry . no real safety net despite having her so - called mom - ager there to protect her . if anything , luci felt as though she was less protected when her mother was around . the way the woman would throw her to the wolves just to get the attention she desired . wanting to live through her daughter . playing puppet master and treating her own child as if she was a little doll she could bend and control anyway she wanted to .

when the cameras weren't on the family , the issues came in swarms . luciana watching as her mother abused different pills and alcohol , her brother drowned himself in anything he could get his hands on , trying to silence the noise of heated arguments and his father cheating with various different woman . luciana seeing things she shouldn't but felt she had to hold onto and keep secret . they were a broken family behind closed doors but the moment they had eyes on them , everyone would pretend nothing was wrong . a smile forming on what was once a miserable face .

as much as luci doesn't want to be under her mothers control or her parents . . . she is . unable to really get out from under their grasps . at a young age she had went through something traumatic . no help in the way she was thrown to the wolves and that began the spiraling that luci began to go through .

a little reckless in her behavior , although under the radar . then again , she'd always felt like she could be screaming for help in front of the people in her life and no one would see or hear her . after an episode that was too catastrophic to ignore , her parents sent her off to a nature retreat . . . a way to be calm and become one with the earth . although , they didn't want to address the situation of not only what their daughter had been through and the secrets she held onto but they also didn't want to believe that there could be something actually wrong with her . or something she could actually be struggling with . instead sending her off on a pointless journey that didn't take away all the hurt and pain she had been through .

once back , she was thrown back into her work . back to playing the part of the perfect untouched and lovely daughter her mother wanted her to be . back to being the little doll her mother wanted to control .

Being adopted was never something that bother August. As far as he knew, the family that he grew up with was his real family whether they were blood or not. Of course when he was young, he thought that everyone was truly family but then he learned that the world worked differently than that yet it still didn’t change the way he thought about the siblings that he grew up with. His biological parents were a young couple who were addicts and weren’t ready for a child and that’s how he ended up in foster care before ending up with his forever family.

It was clear from a young age that August had a gift for cooking. He was constantly watching cooking shows on TV and wanted to recreate all of the different dishes with his parents. There were even times where he was preparing dinner in a masterchef style where they didn’t even know what they were getting. Once he was old enough and he was able to be trusted with the oven and stove on his own, he was cooking all of the holiday dinners, never feeling like he had to or being pressured to. He went to a school where being an athlete was very important and still he remained himself. He was pushed into a number of lockers and called multiple names, but it’s not something that ever got to him.

It was no shocker that at the end of high school, August graduated at the top of his class and he was the valedictorian. College was completely different for him though. He wasn’t sure if it was just the atmosphere or his lack of caring what others thought of him but he felt a sort of solace with his cooking buddies. He made a friend in school, named Sadie and they became close to the point that others thought that the two of them were together romantically. It was the only other person that August could be himself around. She was actually able to help him realize that he was pansexual and he didn’t really care what someone identified as as he was interesting in connecting with someone who was able to connect with him on a deeper level.

After graduating, he remained in New York City and worked as hard as he could to gain a reputation for himself. He had auditioned on a whim to work with Gordon Ramsay in Europe and he ended up getting the internship. He was shocked and he didn’t want to leave his family but they were all so supportive of him and he ended up going. He worked out there for about two years before coming back to the states due to one of his parents falling ill. He wanted to help take care of them and step up as he was the oldest of all of his siblings. After his parent got better, he decided to head to Blue Harbor as they had an opening for a head chef in one of their steakhouses. He was close enough to Chicago to the point where he could really get his name known there but he felt like he has found his niche in Blue Harbor and doesn’t feel like leaving anytime soon.

Skylar would give the shirt off of his back for someone, even if he didn’t know them. He has always been selfless and have always cared more about others than himself. While that’s great, he also has struggled to take care of himself at times so that plays into his insecurities a little bit. He tries not to show that side of himself unless it’s someone super important to him. At the same time, his family doesn’t know and it’s hard for anyone to tell he’s going through something because he’s so bubbly.

Growing up in a family where you constantly felt the love was something that Skylar was grateful for. He knew that not everyone was able to have the luxuries in life that he was able to have. He also knew that not everyone had the older siblings that he had and that’s why he made sure to cherish it every single day. Family was never anything that Skylar would be able to take advantage of because they always had each other’s backs through thick and thin.

When he was in high school, he had a natural act for volleyball. He loved playing and he was actually really good at it. He wasn’t someone who liked to be modest about it as he was a humble individual. He was kind to everyone that he saw walking through the halls as he didn’t see the point in making anyone feel ostracized. While some of his teammates thought differently, he knew that there was no talking any sense into them so he just tried his best to make up for them.

When Skylar was sixteen, he noticed his best friend acting differently. He didn’t know what to do but eventually he had found out that they were using drugs and Skylar wished that he could have helped them through whatever they were going through. This was his best friend and he didn’t want to see them struggling so he did something that he didn’t think he would have done to them, but he went to their parents and reported his concerns to them in which they had sent their child to rehab to get some help.

Skylar tried to visit them multiple times, but they refused so he felt awful as all he wanted to do was help his best friend. As he was deciding what to go to college for, he realized that his best friend’s predicament showed him that he wanted to help others through their darknesses. He went to school in New York State for psychology and then got his masters in mental health counseling.

Skylar continues to work day after day to help others and he wanted to save his best friend. After graduating and finishing his internship, Skylar was in New York still and so he decided to move back home to Merrock where he knew that he could be truly happy.

As graduation was nearing, Lucas had ended up sleeping with one of his fraternity brothers. It was not something that he was planning on but they were hanging out and one thing let to another and that’s when Lucas realized that he was in love with him. Once he heard that he was leaving and going somewhere else, Lucas was disappointed but he knew that he needed to think about his own future. He decided that what he wanted was to be near his brother so he applied to colleges in Kismet Harbor and once he was accepted into their mental health counseling program, he accepted and he hadn’t told his brother because he wanted to just show up.

Rumor has it the day Hestia Jones opened her eyes to the world was filled with the chirping of birds and clouds ready to be pushed aside by the sun hiding behind it. The mood of that day, the atmosphere all around very much became her personality in the later years. Hestia was the middle child, as just about two years later her younger sister Anisa was born. Despite that their parents dedicated as much of their time to all three children as they possibly could. The family was of pureblood standing yet not one that supported the notion that blood purists kept trying to push on the world. Although her parents made sure to keep a safe distance to voicing their thoughts out loud, anyone that knew them was very much aware of their stance. That did not free the girls from the classic pureblood classes as their mother felt it would help with their education. Of course, her older brother Silas wasn’t entirely free of that either; having to deal with his own share of things to learn, practice and preach.

Three years older than her and five years Anisa’s senior, Silas left for Hogwarts before them. The time without him was so utterly boring as he’d always been the fieriest between them all. With his temper and the teachings of their parents, the fact that he ended up in Gryffindor wasn’t a surprise. Much later, five years to be exact Anisa would follow to become the second lion within their family. In the meantime, Hestia busied herself running around the countryside, more than one dress torn in the middle of it all. Three years after her brother’s departure to Hogwarts the young witch followed, sorted into Hufflepuff as the only one of her family as the rest were scattered between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. The warmest of the five of them, this did not come as a surprise as she had equally been a most hard-working individual.

With Hogwarts came the slow time of growing up; gone the girl that would run across the countryside, dresses ripped on branches and with time the manners she’d always possessed showing. By the time she graduated Hestia Jones had become an accomplished young witch, ready to take on the world. With the war going on outside the walls of the castle, the conflict ever-growing, there was only one path for the then former Hufflepuff. She found herself a spot within the ministry of magic, training as an auror among some of the best. There was determination, and a drive to some good in the world. Over time, with dedication, she not only completed her training as an auror but also began to rise in ranks; not a leader yet far from scared to take charge should the situation call for it. Hestia finally had a place to show just how much she was willing to protect others; to care for them as best as she could.

Whether by chance or fate, a few years later – about a year after she’d graduated from Hogwarts, Hestia’s sister Anisa got engaged and soon after married, having fallen in love madly with someone from Ireland. After that she moved out and the house seemed oh so much emptier. It almost seemed like a sign, with only her parents remaining and her older brother having moved into his own place long ago. The witch found herself a small cottage within one of the Hamlets near Hogwarts, having herself fallen in love with the idyllic atmosphere and the short distance to the beach just south of her little house. It was perfect and calm, the ideal balance between her life as an auror and the calmness that came with the sounds of waves crashing onto the shore. The only thing messing with the lot of it were her parents’ views regarding marriage. While not a family of tradition in the sense of blood purism, they did hold some belief that the future of their children should be theirs to guide. One child had managed to escape those hopes, the other two, so they hoped, would be easier to help along.

Camila was born to a maid who couldn’t take care of her. With the financial state the woman was in, she wound up giving the baby up for adoption. Whose hands did Camila wind up in? Oh, just an oil tycoon and his wife who couldn’t have a baby of their own. Being raised with a silver spoon in her mouth made her life more difficult. Someone always wanted something from her, and soon Mila realized that people will only ever see her as a dollar sign. She burned bridges at any point someone showed their true intentions with her, and she justified it by believing it was to protect herself from more hurt than she was already enduring behind the scenes. Being adopted made her a target in her cousins’ eyes; Always ganging up on her at family functions and claiming she wasn’t really a Singh. She was alienated - cast aside by her so-called aunts and uncles. Maybe that’s why it didn’t hurt to be going to so many funerals, growing up. It was on her father’s side of the family - the side she was never to come into contact with due to the drug and alcohol abuse that ran rampant in those genes. She became cold during her middle school years, though it wasn’t like she really had anyone to be cold to, seeing that she was homeschooled. It was when she had to attend high societal events, that she was seen as a sort of ice queen. She was withdrawn, and that came across as snobbish. In actuality, she didn’t care. Mostly because that meant she didn;t have to hear what people wanted from her. For someone who was homeschooled, she excelled in the SATs and ACTs. She turned down Harvard to go to Princeton for their Art & Design program. To Mila, the creative freedom of fashion design was enough to heal her inner child. She could be whoever she wanted, make a name for herself and inspire other children who found a sanctum doing what they loved. With her BA in Art & Design, Mila was able to become a fashion intern at one of her favorite fashion magazines. It was only recently that she also was given the chance to prove herself as a columnist for the zine. With her sniper-sharp focus, Mila is sure she’ll wind up happy achieving her dream one day. Mila is strong in many ways than one. She works out, sure, but she can endure the emotional pain the size of an elephant in her chest. Chaos didn't always follow around Esma and her twin sister Isra. It all started when the girls were five. Their mother had always been slightly erratic, but when their father caught her having an affair with one of his best friends? He couldn't stand it anymore. Knowing Esma was the strongest of the pair, he left her and took Isra with him. This ended up with Esma taking on her mother's verbal abuse, and her mom turning to alcohol. Eventually, she remarried and her stepfather was just as bad.

As she grew into her teen years, Esma began attention seeking, drinking, drugs, and hanging out with people she shouldn’t. Her mother began to get fed up with her, kicking her out when she was 16. This caused her to drop out of high school, couch surfing at her best friend's place; his laid-back parents kindly let her. But it was trouble, she was slowly falling for his girlfriend, and she was falling for her too. It wasn’t very long before they were sneaking around together and she was stuck in some very messy affair that carried on for nearly two years. Funnily enough, it had been the only bit of stability that Esma had ever had.

Tragedy struck when he got into a car accident and passed away on the scene. The girls had been together that night so when they heard the news they both felt an immense amount of guilt. Esma was unable to contain it; hitching a ride to San Fransisco and never looking back. She had no money, no nothing, but being somewhat street smart, Esma broke into an empty apartment to live in while she tried to build up some cash. It wasn’t long until she was caught and kicked out so she had to find a new plan.

Esma still spent most of her time drinking and doing drugs, anything to escape the grief she’d endured over the last couple of years. Finding different bodies to fill the void, until she came across a chef who worked at one of San Fran’s most prestigious restaurants. He was older than her, he had money, and he seemed nice enough so she went home with him, charming her way into his life. It was only six weeks later she was staring at a positive pregnancy test in the bathroom of his restaurant. It was positive and he was thrilled. Esma couldn’t really picture herself as a mother but her life had been flipped upside down, maybe now she was finally going to feel some sort of happiness. He flew her to Vegas and they got married.

Only a short time went by before it all started crumbling. Esma experienced a late-term miscarriage shortly after their wedding day. Things turning more sour than they ever could have with her new husband blaming everything on her. Esma had always been strong but not anymore, not after this. She began to believe the words he fed her. It wasn’t long before he was laying hands on her either. She was miserable. When Esma had enough instead of leaving she began to retaliate. This carried on for years until she couldn’t take it anymore, when she found out he got his mistress pregnant, it was over. Esma cooked her husband a nice dinner and laced it with rat poison, then once he was knocked out, she went to the nearest ATM, to withdraw all the money in their joint account, winding back up in Aurora Bay.

The first thing she did was find a house in Fishers Cove and the next thing she did was find a job at the Four Leaf Irish pub, hoping to forget about everything she had endured. With too much evidence against him, she knew he wouldn't come looking for her. She finally felt strong again.

Max was born and raised in the seashore town of Asbury Park, NJ. Though small, the town holds such a tight-knit community filled with nothing but love and acceptance. Not only the community, but Max's parents always held the same warmth. It's why Max always felt free and lived without fear: she was accepted for who she was. It made it that much easier to come out when she was in middle school; Though, no one was surprised and obviously celebrated her for being herself. She found a love for art at an early age, as well. From paint splatter rooms with her mother, to "slaying dragons" with her father - Max's imagination, emotions and dreams were always believed to be within reach. That was before she became a local treasure in the realm of singing within the LGBTQ+ community. Soon enough, the young 17 year old Max was signed onto a record label. Little did she know that that would be her first big mistake in life. The record label attempted to control every aspect of her music, and so she stopped for a period of time; Enrolling into college and gaining her degrees whilst making music behind closed doors. With the support of her fans, she was able to buy back her music and take her image back. Her life, her art - it was hers. Now at 31 years of age, Max is living her best life in NYC. Writing, producing and putting out her own music under her own label. She made it a point for her label to assist smaller artists who found themselves in the same position she had, and she won't stop until the poetry in the streets are raw and authentic from their rightful poets.

Max gives everyone the benefit of the doubt. Her heart is too big for her body, and she shows it through leaving a piece of herself in everyone she meets. This is an aspect most admire, though she tends to leave herself vulnerable due to it. She also is a big presence in activism and one can easily find her on the frontlines of various marches and protests. She loves to travel and appreciate other cultures; It's one of her favorite things to do when she is touring. She can be comedic and chaotic, but ultimately she's benevolent. She appreciates art and loves getting lost in movies or an art museum on Sundays. As the youngest child of four, daughter of Fairchild Media (an international brand that owns and operates about two dozen magazines, four newspapers, and owns a stake in a primetime cable network) and wine-guzzling philanthropist, Alexandra Fairchild had learned early on the importance of gaining people’s attention. It was hard to come by in her household (excluding the nannies, of course), but she knew even at a young age that it was as valuable as currency in the world of the UES elite. Her parents had her as a last resort to keep their marriage together, which would wind up ending in divorce before Alex’s second birthday anyway. She’s always had a disconnect from her family, with her three older siblings being years older than her and more or less a spitting image of her parents: serious and diligent Nathan, intelligent and clever Lucy, kind-hearted and sweet Meredith. A lesser woman would shrink in their shadows, but there was a rebellious streak in Alex that none of her other siblings had, enough to give her a title of her own. She wasn’t completely unlike her parents, anyway; she had learned from watching her father conduct business how to underhand someone to get her way, and she was clever like her mother, knowing exactly what needed to be done to get there.

The only problem? Unlike her family and their squeaky-clean reputation, Alex had never minded getting her hands dirty when it came to the public’s opinion. In fact, she knew that’s what separated her from the rest of the herd. There’s no such thing as bad publicity, one would say, and Alex took that to heart when she started a Twitter account at thirteen years old, purely for posting her scathing opinions on everyone and everything. A few years ago it had been taken down by her father, refusing for his daughter to get roped into the cancel culture that seemed to overtake the media, but the damage was done; by then, Alex had already gotten a taste of the attention that comes with social media, and she wanted more of it.

One would think every high school in America had a type like her: the cool, bitchy girl who spoke her mind and was somehow still flocked with friends. But Alex took that stereotype and made it fun, the girl people genuinely wanted to be around — until they didn’t. Always known for her unpredictability, one minute she could be braiding your hair and making you friendship bracelets, and the next minute she’s making fake Instagram accounts to troll you in the comments. Most people think it’s just a feral nature about her, but in reality it’s a game of ten-dimensional chess between Alex and everyone around her — they just don’t know it yet.

The name of her game is social media, having started Instagram seriously a few years ago, when the age of influencers had first taken off. Now she has over a million followers, that number growing by the week, and that number being the only map to figuring out how exactly Alex is feeling at the moment. She doesn’t care what she has to do to get followers – get caught hooking up with an Italian prince, get arrested for a DUI, flash the paparazzi outside of 1Oak – as long as people continue to subscribe and give her the attention she craves. When it comes to her reputation, she’s not afraid to do anything or screw anyone over to get in the way.

Biography:

Ever since Madelena was a young girl, she was wanting to help take care of people. It was something that came like second nature to her. She was a babysitter in between school and volleyball. She was very good at balancing out all of the stress in her life. She was able to remain on high honors while holding all of her other responsibilities. It was no surprise to her family when she was announced valedictorian of her class.

With all colleges having their eyes on her for both academics and volleyball, she decided that she was going to drop volleyball and focus on just her academics as she wanted to go to med school and become a doctor. She thought she wanted to be a surgeon but then she realized that was going to eat up so much of her life and something that was important to her was to have a family.

While in college, Madi came to realize that she liked both men and woman and when she came out to her family, they were happy that she was comfortable with coming out to them. They were all there to support her and told her that they were there for her no matter what.

After graduating college, she knew that she needed to get out of Los Angeles and she decided to head to New York City to complete her fellowship. She worked with some of the best doctors ever and she was even offered a job after completing her internship so she decided to remain there and work there for a few years. After hearing that one of her younger siblings was in trouble, she decided to come to Aurora Bay to help them out.

Ever since getting to town, she's learned some news about how she wasn't going to be able to have a family of her own and that's broken her heart but she's not letting anyone know the news until she finds out what to do herself.
