How did the dayman thing come to exist? And how does it implement itself into canon, or is it not?

okay, so, dayman is a character from always sunny in philadelphia, one of my favourite shows. All you need to know about dayman is that he’s a weird mystery of a character from a dumb stageplay written by one of the main characters of that show, and acts as an allegory for his weird life.the first draft of dsaf 1′s minigames were nonsensical. shit like foxy eating a pizza and getting beaten up (explaining why he’s out of order), bonnie tuning a guitar unsuccessfully, and shit to that effect. nightman appearing was just, sorta one of those things. When working on dayshift at freddy’s 2, I brought him back because why not?if you watch this in full, it’ll all make sense. Actually, scratch that, it’ll be just as incomprehensible, but you’ll be more familiar with it.
