ok idk if you’ve read the whole book but I’ve noticed an uncanny amount of similarities between Bill Cipher and Dave Miller.

They’re both really scary villains but are just really lonely and don’t want to confront their trauma or actions. Also the Great Gatsby connection applies to both of them.

I’ll probably do a full analysis on this at some point but I just needed to scream about it.

THIS THIS THS THIS I’ve been rambling to my sibling about it esp. since i’ve been rewatching a ton of DSaF playthroughs.

they both have a very narcissistic/apathetic personality, disregarding most other people’s opinions on morality, and only pursing their own desires overall. (Dave’s is partially done out of ‘revenge’, but he’s killed people for apparently no big reasons, i.e., when he shot a dude getting beer in DSaF 2)

one small thing but that’s big to me is them viewing themselves as ‘silly little guys’ n ‘just a goofy fella 😋’. I can’t quote where in DSaF Dave says this, but I do recall a scene were he says something along those lines, and for bill, the time baby wanted poster is what comes to mind first.

the other thing I noticed is the blatant GNC coding played for jokes?? It’s a weird thing but they do refer to themselves in feminine terms at one point and another, and generally are not fully hetero/cisnormative in the way they’re written.

also, I think the way they see their own mortality seems similarly dismissive. They both are some shade of immortal, and are very casual about the concept of death, for themselves and others

but NO I’ve had this exact same thought and I keep finding parallels if you ever have any more ideas PLEASE IM IN THE SAME SITUATION THEY ARE SO SIMILAR AUGH

So I’m not really part of the DSAF fandom anymore, but I still follow the tag from when I was and I’m utterly disgusted by what I’ve seen go down in the past couple days or so.

Regardless of whether Orca is innocent or not, the fact that their alleged victims did exactly what they’re accusing Orca of, yet no one is saying anything about it is insane to me.

If you’re one of the people accusing Cosmo of supporting sexual harassment or whatever then shame on you. Genuinely. You all talk about what Orca’s allegedly done and how it made you feel, yet you’ve done to Cosmo what you’ve accused Orca of doing. Disgusting.
