Don't Starve Linked Keychains are here!

Made from shrink plastic and UV resin to give a faux-acrylic feel, the next set of my keychains are now available for purchase! Each piece is roughly 6 inches in size, with the Wagstaff one being the longest at 7 inches.

Each charm is made by hand by me, and your support greatly helps me out, both to continue making art and to keep myself afloat in between jobs!

Unexpectedly, I really enjoyed playing for Wagstaff. And I liked him too🤭🤭🤭

I've never intentionally killed a Glommer, not even for a Krampus Sack. Just because I felt sorry for this sweet little creature... I felt terrible at the thought of killing him...

Buuut after starting to play for Wagstaff, this feeling abruptly disappeared. Now I feel that I "have the moral right" to do it?? WTF IDK WHY THIS HAPPENED LIKE THIS IT'S A VERY STRANGE FEELING LMAO

WEEK 2 MAKE UPS!!

SO I haven't gotten back to these because of IRL things, BUT I have finally come back to them cuz there was some sketches that I really liked and wanted them to see the light of day! SO here they are!

I hate pigmen for the sol reason being they eat the damn meat of the thing I killed not even a second ago.

What I imagine eating Glommer's goop experience would be. Like it somehow either taste like a hospital or second most vile thing in the constant. But hey! It heals.

Listening to the ocean in og Don't Starve is terrifying. Maybe bc I'm scared of the ocean, or maybe bc the ocean feels more alive there.

The Clockwork Bishop Sees You

I spent a lot of time trying to remember if a Clockwork Bishop fires their energy blasts from their cyclopean eye or from their light-bulb bishop's cap. I still can't remember, but the ominous crackling energy around the eye was super fun to draw.

The Bee Queen and Her Grumble Bees

She was very fun to draw, especially all the oozing honey from her hive "skirt." I feel like the grumble bees were actually the hardest part to draw just because I wanted to fit them into the composition. Then I realized I needed to draw at least one at a different angle so we could see their stinger and show they aren't just a bunch of Glommers.

Powder Monkey

He's a proud Moon Quay buccaneer sailing the sea. DST ships look really weird. I probably should have drawn some water ripples so we don't just think he's got a wooden rug.

From DS: Hamlet. Look, when even the Ancient Herald of the Aporkalypse thinks you should stop playing with fire, you might be getting a bit reckless.

Honestly, it went about as well as expected.

Some DS: Shipwrecked. I like how this came out actually. I really like that guy fishing in the background and his little house.

Wormwood Discovers the Pugalisk

More DS: Hamlet. That's not a new rock formation, Wormwood! So, I don't think it's ever confirmed by Klei, but I think the Pugalisk is at least partway inspired by the real life hognose snake. Both are burrowing snakes with upturned snouts they use to dig through the earth. Also, the game is DS: Hamlet, about a civilization of pig folks. A pig kingdom, a hognose snake monster, it's thematic.

Don't be fooled by their dapper clothes and charming moustaches, this father and son duo (and their winter hounds) are more than willing to hunt the most dangerous game. They're big jerks.
