Also on the Sue thing, it always kinda weirds me out when people say Sue had a soft spot for Kurt?? And I know this all because of glee’s inconsistent writing, but she was one of the most homophobic people on the show? Like the not in show clip about “sneaky gays” that aired on television in the glee universe. Kurt might have seen that. She repeatedly calls him lady and other derogatory terms and everyone just sweeps that under the rug? All because she put him on the Cheerios (which was just a plot to get back at Will) where she put him on an unsafe diet to get rid of his nonexistent “pear shaped hips” and because she stopped acting as principal in protest. Which if she had really wanted to help others like Kurt being in an administrative position would be much more valuable. So that’s my two cents on Sue

I totally understand your points. From how I see Sue, she was a vile person to everybody who crossed her path. She was homophobic, transphobic, and racist. She hated everything and everyone. I think out of all people Sue hated, she hated Kurt the least. She even states in s6 that witnessing what Kurt had gone through taught her compassion.

I definitely think that if it was any other student in Kurts place, she would not have given up her position as principle in protest.

What the fandom does need to talk about more is her hUge soft spot for Marley. Sue never being able to come up with a mean nickname for her was the cutest thing ever.

We need a little christmas always makes me kinda cringe. And I love Chris’s voice so much but the like really high short speak-sing lines he has come off as really sharp? Idk I like most of their Christmas stuff and I’ll still listen to the song I just kinda only like it for the boppiness

I had to go back and listen to this one -- it sounds like the entire song was sped up to make it sound more childlike, which is... weird.  And you’re right, Chris is straining again.  Eesh.  It’s not good.  C- at best.  

HOWEVER YOU REMINDED ME OF THE SONG THAT I WILL THROW THINGS AT THE TV IF I HAVE TO EVER LISTEN TO IT AGAIN AND THAT IS.... THE CHIPMONK SONG.  

Good god, I hate that song.

But back to your thoughts -- it leads a longer conversation about Chris’s voice -- and how sometimes, a high song he can just soar on, and other times, when it’s in that awkward middle range of your voice, he can seem like he’s straining a bit.  The thing, though, that people don’t seem to talk about is that Chris’s voice did drop during the show, and his gorgeous lower register wasn’t used as often as I would have liked it.  But also, sometimes I don’t think they knew how best to use Chris’s voice when in group numbers.

Kurt: yes I’m starting with my fav, I’m gonna say cat. I just cant see him with an owl or toad, and he just gives me cat vibes, maybe because Chris had a cat but yah 

Rachel: oof I’m torn, i mean part of me thinks she just wouldn’t have any pet (i feel she would just get fed up with it) but i would say toad. Maybe because i dont like her, but i mean i think they’re pretty low maintenance and i feel like that fits her.

I personally think the actual sectionals performances had ND as better but in general like during the Mash Off TroubleTones were better. Like if Rumor Has It/Someone Like You had been a competition performance TroubleTones should have won, but with ABC and the other numbers ND rightly won sectionals (also their costumes were better)

I agree, Survivor/I Will Survive was really good but it wasn’t my fav of theirs.

And how am I supposed to say that I’m not obsessed with the one competition performance that wasn’t the Rachel Berry show. The New Directions brought the house down and I love them for it.

ALSO! The competition was REALLY good that sectionals- Buenos Aires is one of my favorite Glee songs of all time.

I am going to have to go with Stop! In The Name Of Love/Free Your Mind (never been kissed). 

It's My Life/Confessions Part II (vitamin D) was very cute, and the dopey smiles on all of their faces were quite funny, but the vocals were not as good as they were in Stop! In The Name Of Love/Free Your Mind, and even though what they were apologizing for was quite tasteless on the part of RIB (are we surprised?), I’ve always found singing an apology really sweet.

So lets talk about the vocals in Stop! In The Name Of Love/Free Your Mind. First of all, Artie’s voice was absolutely perfect for the first couple of lines, and then when Puck came in, with a slightly smoother voice, it made it so that they could easily go into the ah bubu ah bubu ah bubu ah bubu’s (which were absolutly beautiful by the way). Having Sam do the verse from Stop! In The Name of Love worked really well, because with his voice, the rockiness of the song stayed, just enough to keep it consistent, but it got soft enough that it worked with Stop! In The Name of Love.

I hope this makes some sort of sense kinda...

What’s your favorite piece of sea life?

Ahhh i love this so much. I’m pretty basic but i have to say a dolphin, they’re what got me into marine bio in the first place, and whenever i stray they’re always what brings me back. 

They are insanely intelligent and the way their family bonds in the wild work are so amazing. What i mean by that is, whenever a dolphin is in labor other dolphins will actually work as midwives and help deliver the baby! Also, when one of the pod is getting old and unable to swim/injured and unable to swim, other dolphins will put the injured dolphin on their backs and help them get air and transport them! They’re amazing creatures and my heart belongs to them.
