ik i said it in my tags but trying to photograph my oil paintings is a pain in the ass bc of stuff like glare and angles and not havin a professional setup by any means so it's basically an exercise in patience every single time and some extra salt in the wound with that last one is the photo with some of The best natural color balancing and no glare on the painting is this one in which i'm just fucking manhandling it

#i took this one as a joke out of frustration and the universe decided to laugh at me more i think #if my paintings actually like. sold i would look into maybe hiring a photographer to take and edit photos of them but it's diy for now babe #dropped two pieces off at the phoenix zoo for an exhibition yesterday though so maybe? one of those will sell?#out of the ~20 shows i've been in the past five years i think i've sold...four pieces. honestly a lot of my work just sits in my closet or #a box in my room 90% of the time lol it's not glamorous in the slightest #also before anyone asks why it's thin it's on a panel #no i won't shut up
