so I saw a blog from like 2022 where your TV had taken a shit n pretty much everything had taken a shit and I’m wondering…. Have things improved? If so, how? If not, why? (Thanks in advance for answering, or not answering, obviously it’s up to you…..)

Hey! Yeah, my life was... pretty hard for 2022! And much of 2023. I got the start of a diagnosis for a second auto-immune disorder (I suspect Fibromyalgia, especially since I'm now on an anti-depressant that ALSO helps with fibro pain and it works), my cat died a week before the anniversary of my father's death... just... WOOF.

My boyfriend's parents helped me pay for half of a new TV! It's a really cheap Roku brand TV but it's super big and I'm not picky!

But my boyfriend asked me to move in with him so I moved from Phoenix AZ to Sacramento California! And things have been freakin' great! One of my brothers lives in San Francisco so we see each other on birthdays and holidays! My boyfriend's family is amazing!

California also has much better support for disabled people. In Arizona, they only gave me 500$ a month (and took the rest for themselves, fucking evil) so for a year and change I had to survive on 500$ a month. In California, they don't deduct anything. Weirdly my food stamps were a little higher in AZ than here in CA? But whatever!

My cats love my boyfriend, they did not enjoy the drive to California lol It was like a 12 hour drive and I took a short stop to take a nap. So left AZ at like 4am and got to CA at 6pm. My furniture (which was alllll the furniture for both of us because my boyfriend lived with his Mom so only had a desk, PC and two chairs) didn't arrive for a week! So we only had some camping chairs, a few TV trays and an inflatable mattress to sleep on. And the mattress got a big leak halfway through lol

But my pain is being managed, we're doing okay, one of my cat's has decided my boyfriend is his person now lol

So life is much better! We're talking about getting a small farm down the road, I'm learning to bake so I can do that as a small business. I've convinced my boyfriend we should get a Great Pyrenees, cows and chickens!

I did have to leave my dog behind in Arizona with my Mom because the apartment we live in only allows 2 pets and I couldn't separate my cats. But my mom adores him and spoils him!
